Hey everyone! It’s been another fabulous week of the girls fattening up getting ready for the ever looming harvest time! The colas are huge and glistening like a glitter ball! The back right girl has been on flush since day 51, 2 more went on flush on day 53, and the final girl front right went on flush today, day 56! Over the week I gave 3 girls a really heavy defoliation taking the majority of fan leaves off to allow good airflow and try fattening up those lower buds. It’s still impossible to tell if I prefer defoliation or not but we are getting close to harvest so should have a definitive answer to that soon! The back right girl has had absolutely no defoliation or trimming through her life cycle. I still regularly think back to when we broke one of the girls and transplanted, the cannabis gods were on our side warning us 4 girls will be huge, we were very lucky or would be seriously short of space as of now. As the girls are going to be harvested at slightly different times to ensure each are at their optimum, I have had to construct a dry box. How I built my smell free DIY dry box: Take a large cardboard box, cut an extraction hole in the top at one end and mount some ducting and seal the gap around the edge. Cut a flap in the opposite end at the bottom which will be the passive intake and promoting a draft through the hanging buds. Poke some holes in each end of the box using a screwdriver and thread some thin rope or string through the box tying the ends together once finished to give you sturdy locations to hang some pegs from. Finally I attached an extra bit of card on one of the flaps at the top; this overlaps the slight gap in the top between the flaps that could allow light to enter. Once completed I put the ducting into one of the lower intakes of the tent; the negative pressure in the tent then uses the air in the dry box as a passive intake creating a smell free area to dry your cannabis outside of your grow tent. This also keeps a slight breeze flowing through the box to ensure even drying. Northern soul. This strain is one of my top grows. The smell is very strong already. With the leaves so big and wide like they are we all know its an indica strain.very happy so far with this plant.Happy growing.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. End of week 4. So far so good. Plants are healthy, buds are starting. Light and plants are happy together. I haven't had a proper tasting Bubble gum in a while, let's see what theses can do . Thanks everyone

Началась новая неделя растение стоит на ripen и чувствует себя хорошо активно пьет , а цветки становятся все более липкими я решил не срезать его в субботу подержу еще пол недели на Ripen и пол недели на воде куст вырос больше среднего размера , такой из палатки вытащить не просто но Harvest уже близок Всем удачи!

So die 11 Woche hat angefangen, seit ca 5 Tagen gibt es kein Dünger mehr für die Lady. Täglich gieße ich mit 1.5 Liter und das Wasser hat einen PH Wert von 6.5. Noch eine Woche und dann steht die Erste Ernte an. Bin echt gespannt wieviel Trockene Buds auf der Wage sind.

Start week 7 , Bio Grow 2 ml/L + Bio Bloom 4 ml/L + Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra 2 ml/L + CarboLoad 2 ml/L + Top Max 4 ml/L (Ph 6.7).

6th week I did burn her a bit and she got some lives with small yellow points Need to cut the newtz dark green color is normal for this strain did flush with water ph The flowers are like ltte roses smell like spicy peppery Hard to describe I think she will be ok I will take the led away can’t handle the heat

March 6, 26, day 29th after shedding the shell . Flowering began in the 5th week. Watering (1.5 liters with 6 ml of Terra Flores). March 7, 26 - watering with B52. March 9, 26-watering with 2.5 liters, pH 6.2. The plant has grown to 65 cm. Indica-dominant? That much? Only 30 days from seed! 12/3/26-watered with 3 liters of water. I don't know about other light panels, but the Mars Hydro TSL2000,is a perfect choice for me on a 120/60 box.

Vaya liada de floración, me salió en este indoor una plaga de trips y los 5 ejemplares están picados, ya traté las plantas esta semana, añadí aceite de neem en la tierra, rocié un insecticida y añadí tiras azules, veremos esta próxima semana si ya erradique este inconveniente. Empiezo por supuesto abonando una pequeña cantidad de la gama Agrobeta. La temperatura está 25 grados y la humedad anda entorno al 50%. Riego cada 48 horas.
