2024-10-18 The le Plants do a super job. spreading the semen into the feale Flowers absolutely extiting BE a Breeder", is one of Doctor´s Choices Motto. Regular Seeds Seeds germinate- A backcross from Chronic Ryder_ BREEDER INFO LEGEND We’re so proud of our latest drop - Chronic Ryder regular - as it results from a hardworking breeding process. We used an original Chronic male plant from Serious Seeds and backcrossed it with our Chronic Ryder from Sasha The Joint Doctor’s private collection to receive the Chronic Fast F1 BX Regular. By crossing 2 Chronic Ryder F3 lines, L1 and L2 from the same parents, we have created a new hybrid line. Well, it seems like it should be an F4 hybrid, but it's incorrect to name so. This process is called interline breeding, which means the cross of 2 lines. This cross allowed us, over several generations, to get a fully automatic Chronic Ryder that predominates its parents by 25% in key characteristics. Chronic Ryder is also available in feminized variety. GROWING Chronic Ryder regular shows the best performance of parents’ heritage. It grows into a uniform and compact plant that rarely exceeds 1m in height. Thanks to its compact size it is better grown in small spaces, terraces, and balconies and is quite suitable for stealth growing. The plant forms a single huge central bud cola with few side branches. Fatty and frosty buds will be ready to harvest in 70-75 days from germination. You’ll be truly surprised how big and dense buds are - the nice and fruity smell adds extra pleasure. The short growing period and strong resistance are other strong points of the strain. Chronic Ryder regular would be a great choice for growing outdoors with short summers - you’ll get your guaranteed high-quality yield in any case. Be ready to harvest up to 500 g/m2 indoors and 50-100 g per plant outdoors. TASTE and EFFECT Chronic Ryder regular has a nice taste - fruity and citrus tones complement one another, giving an unforgettable aftertaste. The effect is mild and doesn’t hit you like a hammer - the perfect choice for novice smokers. It brings balanced high and stone effects. Thanks to it, Chronic Ryder is a good smoke that calms your body, giving a strong body relaxation for a long time. Cash Express – Pheno A | Week 4 Full Steam Ahead Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure, where twelve cultivars are being documented individually from seed to harvest under a strict 12/12-from-seed schedule. Every phenotype follows its own diary, allowing each plant to reveal its unique personality while growing under exactly the same environment and feeding program. Another week has passed, and the room continues to transform at an incredible pace. What started as twelve tiny seedlings is rapidly becoming a forest filled with individual characters, each responding differently despite sharing identical conditions. That’s one of my favourite parts of this project—watching genetics tell their own stories. This week also reminded me that Mother Nature has a funny sense of humour. The environmental controller proudly displayed 33.3°C alongside 63% humidity. Apparently the grow room has decided that three is the lucky number this week. Despite the higher temperatures, the elevated humidity helped keep the plants comfortable, and growth across the room never missed a beat. Every day the canopy became denser, greener, and noticeably more alive. ⸻ Week 4 Environment 🌡️ Temperature: 33.3°C 💧 Relative Humidity: 63% 💡 PPFD: 700–800 µmol/m²/s 🌱 Medium: Plagron Lightmix ? Growing Method: 12/12 From Seed One interesting change this week wasn’t caused by the lights—it was caused by the plants themselves. Some phenotypes have entered a much stronger vertical growth phase, naturally moving closer to the fixtures. Those taller individuals are now receiving around 800 PPFD, while shorter plants remain closer to 700 PPFD. The light hasn’t changed. The plants have. Watching each phenotype respond differently under identical conditions continues to be one of the most fascinating parts of this entire project. ⸻ Feeding Strategy The nutrition program has continued to evolve alongside the increasing demands of the garden. During the establishment phase, irrigation remained around pH 5.8, creating ideal conditions for vigorous root development. As those root systems expanded throughout the containers, the nutrient solution gradually shifted toward pH 6.1, allowing access to a broader spectrum of available nutrients within the substrate. At the same time, nutrient concentration was increased progressively throughout the week, finishing around EC 1.8. Nothing dramatic. No aggressive jumps. Simply allowing the plants to dictate the pace rather than forcing one. Healthy roots create healthy plants, and the steady growth throughout the room suggests they’re very happy with the direction we’re taking. ⸻ Cash Express – Pheno A If this lady had a motto, it would probably be: “Catch me if you can.” From the beginning she’s shown an incredible desire to grow, and this week that enthusiasm became even more obvious. While several of the other phenotypes are still building compact structures, Pheno A has decided she’s in a hurry. She’s stretching confidently toward the light while simultaneously producing an impressive amount of lateral growth, creating a plant that feels both elegant and powerful. What has impressed me most isn’t simply her height. It’s how well she’s responding to every bit of training. Throughout the week I’ve continued gently tucking leaves and applying light stress training wherever needed to open the canopy. Rather than slowing down, she seems to reward every adjustment by pushing even more vigorous side branches toward the light. It’s exactly the kind of response every grower hopes for. Each newly exposed branch immediately begins reaching upward, gradually transforming the plant into a much more balanced structure with multiple future flowering sites. The internodal spacing remains very attractive—open enough to allow airflow and light penetration, yet close enough to promise dense flower development later on. Her main stem has thickened noticeably over the past week, giving her a sturdy backbone that’s clearly preparing for the stretch that’s still to come. The foliage is lush, healthy, and beautifully coloured, while the fresh lime-green growth emerging at every tip is a constant reminder of just how actively she’s developing. Looking at her now, it’s easy to understand why this cultivar carries the name Cash Express. She certainly isn’t wasting any time. Every day she seems determined to be just a little taller, a little fuller, and a little stronger than she was the day before. ⸻ Looking Ahead Week 5 should become even more exciting. With flowering now beginning to establish itself, I’m expecting the stretch to continue while the first real flower formation starts becoming visible throughout the canopy. Over the coming days I’ll be watching closely for: • Continued vertical stretch. • Development of the trained side branches. • Early flower site formation. • Structural balance after continued LST. • How she compares to her sister phenotype as flowering progresses. If this week’s momentum is anything to judge by, she’s only just getting started. ⸻ Thank You A huge thank you to everyone following this 8×8 Adventure and joining me each week as these incredible genetics continue their journey. Thank you to the amazing GrowDiaries community for providing a place where growers from all around the world can learn from one another, share experiences, and celebrate this incredible hobby together. A special thank you to Plagron for supplying the nutrition and cultivation support behind this entire project. Thank you to Zamnesia for the outstanding genetics, equipment, and the opportunity to document every phenotype from seed to harvest. And finally, thank you to everyone who stops by, leaves a comment, shares advice, or simply enjoys watching these plants develop into their own unique personalities. Every phenotype follows the same path. None of them walk it the same way. Growers Love, and I’ll see you all next week. 🌱💚

All plants are now dried over the space of 10 days at roughly 65f and 55% humidity in the dark. It’s been 2 weeks into the cure and the smells are popping and the sample buds taste great and get me lit af. Didn’t really expect 5 vastly different phenotypes from 5 seeds, is this the norm?

Entering week 10 this girl is looking pretty! Smaller buds but great trichrome production, smells great, and looks like another good week. Harvest is close but still a good week or so to finish. I pollinated a branch of my other autoflower, but with this one I just did a couple small flower sites. All growing good Will leave then on to let the seeds finish if need be, will be close as this girl is finishing quicker then the other.

Day 7 i I transplanted the seedlings in jiffy’s to the DWC basket water level was “just” touching the bottom of the basket which meant there was 1mm- 2mm air gap between the water level and the jiffy’s. The high pressured air in the water to spit when air was released at the top which kept the bottom of the jiffy moist which had minimal roots showing to the exterior of it. Day 7-13 I originally had 7.5 litres of water that was to the bottom of the basket. I replaced the water on the 13th which meant the water was changed after 6 days at such an early stage I will regularly change the water in the buckets. You can change every 7-14days but I am taking no chances. I refilled and added nutrients on Day 13 which was yesterday. And the plants are doing really well and are a nice VEG green colour. Hard to tell on the pictures with the light colour but you can see their progress. When I replaced the water this week I put 6.5L of water in each bucket With nutrients PH’d as close to 5.8 as possible. Some varied from 5.72 - 5.9. I have noted these on each bucket so that I can check if one does better than the others or shows deformities or stress I can amend it to match the others but hopefully not in such a close proximity of 5.8ph with an EC of 700+- The roots are now showing in every pot with the longest being some 6inches. The new Wakyme grow light is top notch so far with VEG button on only. Anyone contemplating buying one it cost me £99.00 from amazon and so far is performing just how I would like. Humidity has been taken care of with a cold air intake fan which is pulled from another area of the building of a cooler environment. Temperatures are spot on where I want them but I do allow a 2degree +- allowance but it does change back to its original temperature quickly enough. 5 more speed bud germinated and 2peyote critical feminised photoperiod germinated. Crystal candy XL auto ordered x10 Gorilla glue, Pineapple Express and Cali Kush waiting in the wings. I have these already If I can be anymore help to anyone let me know. Your diaries are helping me and hopefully I can provide the same to you

All 3 plants cut and just Ozz remaining to dry and trim. Terrible outcome for #4 as I had to throw more than half of the plant away due to bud rots. I’m still really confused about what happened: the day before harvest I noticed and removed 3 bud rots from the plant - so far so good. All remaining buds were fine, but when trimming I realised every single top was maroon-ish at the base and I could clearly see a start of mold when opening some of them. Although I could clearly confirm what it was with a 30x lens, the white spots were extremely scarce and small (less than 1x1mm each time). It doesn’t seem really coherent with how it should have spread. Nonetheless, I didn’t take risk and threw away any bud where I could identify white mold with the lens, and put aside the ones where I had a doubt in pop corns (the “7g maybe”, cf below) to track the evolution.

As for the smell, the smell is beautiful and too strong. And as for the yield, what I see now, kind of average, nothing special... So I will avoid RF3 in the future. I'll stick to the old gold...

Everything is still going very well. Resin production is already very strong, and the resin has a delicious aroma. No fertilizer has been applied, and the two lamps are running together at a combined 250 watts. The distance between the lamps and the plants is actually too small, but this doesn't seem to bother them.
