I started picking for forbidden fruits the day after last week’s post, checking the colas with the scope and only picking tops that were approx 10-20% amber. As I snipped colas I also removed a lot of upper fan leaves, this is to allow light to reach lower buds for a final ripening. Once picked, I placed approx 100g in each brown paper bag, folded the top and sat on a rack. I slowly rolled the bags around once or twice a day just so the buds didn’t stick together. Seems to have worked well, no dreaded hay smell to note and nicely dried. I think I’ll be taking some more colas tops off in a few days time and I’ll keep the plants alive for another week or two, depending on how fast they come along. I have 4 Mimosa EVO (no diary) about 7 weeks into veg at the moment and I think it would be nice to give them another 2 weeks as I need big plants to make clones from them, ready for the next diary coming soon... hopefully with successfully taken clones 😊

I'm only watering with just a ph all those days(writing this at D10) I will update it when I will start using nutrients D12/14 I start using 0.5ml of nutrients

Part 1 of a video project I give myself for this run. And wow ,I'm absolutely loving this grow. The girls are preforming brilliantly with the training, although the Forbidden Runtz excelled with LST more so then the StrawNana, she is more bushy and compact, which made it quite tight in the 2x2 grow tent, but not overcrowded. I'm just a grower, who just loves growing. My passion was vegetable gardening, but living arrangements are different now and can no longer have a garden..... but it has opened up the possibility of indoor cannabis growing which wasn't a option for me before. My medium is a make up of reamended soil from my last run, to make my 25% supersoil base, 65% complete organic compost and topped off with 10% light seedling soil. I also fed a compost extraction once a week from WEEK 5 and they always responded brilliantly. I used the chop and drop technique when I defoliated which my worms seem to love and also used the compost feed for my compost extraction as a mulch layer every week after the feed, which covered the defoliated leaves. Day 78: These girls start looking awesome! It has been a slow, and educational journey so far and we are nearing us the end. The defoliation from last week seem to be perfectly done. I was afraid I was overdoing it, but it looks like she is getting more bushy all the right places

These are the gorilla strain as I never took any of the sour diesel, height levelled itself out to a nice height (learnt from past mistakes not to veg for too long) few smaller bud sites and leaves removed from the bottom

2day of week slacked on the light causes about of light burn to the tips of my colas not much by enough to make me sad lol not much activity just wait around watching bud get bigger colas getting fuller pushing leaves down here and there (I gotta show the back some love it’s just to far aha ) was busy pushing and threading when I noticed that first ugly picture looks like powdery mildew almost had a panic attack till hit it with some light and realized I’m just way to high didn’t even see how beautiful they are getting ahah so far so good maybe about half way or so I’m just guessing branches i crimped still alive and growing bt I can’t say it made the buds blow up or anything just help make more even canopy my smallest girl is making the biggest more fuller buds so far stay safe everyone my bad been a few day not much to tell just watching everything grow turns out my light problem was a bit more serious then I though slacked abit bt not to much damage still just the tips only bt it’s should be all worked out now don’t have many pictures my phone broke bt here’s what I have light on in about two hours start of the next week

14. Woche Wir kommen dem Ende langsam näher. Sie bekommt jetzt keinen Dünger mehr, denke das sollte reichen. Jetzt wird sie erstmal gespült die nächsten 2 Wochen und dann kommt nach Ostern die Opferung 🤭😄 Die meisten Grower sind bestimmt schon lange fertig mit ihren Autos aber bei meiner Sticky Broccoli Auto lief der Zyklus aufgrund des Mainlining und Training 4-6 Wochen länger als normal. Also es ist fjedenfall möglich und freue mich, sie trotz der Probleme mit dem Magnesium, hat sies ja doch gut gepackt 😌 Update: habe die jetzt mal gespült, brauchte echt 4x Wasser, also 32L ca und habe noch bisschen Flawles Finish gegeben. Ich schaue mal nach dem Wochenende, weil viel mehr Masse kommt wohl nicht mehr, die sind jetzt schon sehr Sticky 😌

Week 4 showing sex 😊

Another good week! I fed them once on Monday. A final shot to boost them for finishing up. I am pretty certain they will finish within 2 weeks.I also watered them on Thursday and today (Sunday). I defoliated both plants earlier this week as well. For one, I needed to open the canopy up to help keep the humidity down but, there were a lot of leaves yellowing and turning brown. I was not feeding them correctly... in the sense that I wasn't watering enough in between feeds. There were excess nutrients built up in the soil and I believe that led to the nutrient burn. Also, this was my first and only feed without the Grow Big due to flushing for week 9. I followed the Fox Farm feed schedule... but, I think I needed to understand my plants better! I also believe I stunted these girls! One is about 24" tall and the other is 21" tall. Both on the very low end of the growth chart. Overall, I am very happy!! So much to experience and learn in such a short window of time! I've thoroughly enjoyed this grow! I look forward to the harvest and experiencing all that is to come! One last thing... Anyone use GrowBuddy and any word on what is going on with the current download? I've followed the drama around taking so long and all that (the new hardware soon to be for sale for 2.0)... but, the website now says the software is available for free and working on Macs and Windows.... So, I downloaded it last night and I cannot activate an account. Everything has a greyed over kind of look... So, I assume they took some part of their servers offline... Anyone know if this is accurate and has anyone else activated a new account recently? Thanks for any insight!! Peace!
