Day 82 - Added a new nutrient to bulk up on PK from Canna. Guide says to do this only once, so fingers crossed. Still trying to figure out how close I am. I keep seeing other pictures of what look to be near leafless buds, and the buds look absolutely huge. The problem for me as a first time grower is that I cannot figure out what the scale is, and so have no idea if the photos I see are very close up or not. Also, I keep seeing others pictures of what look to be really extended and pointy buds, and mine look nothing like those either. Can't tell if it's the angle or the actual shape. I'm sure I'll learn, and I'm pretty sure I'm on the right track. Loving the learning though. Such fun. And macro photography is hard.

Flowering day 7 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The lady is developing very well. 2 g of Bio Bloom from GHSC were added last week, which is repeated again in week 3 with 1 g. The small white dots and stones that you see everywhere on the plants come from the release of the ladybug larvae and the beneficial insects against tripe and spider mites :-) I hope they will do their job well 🙏🏻 . It was poured twice with 1 l each time. Next week the lowest shoots will be removed 👍. Until then, have fun with the update. I harvested on day 55 flower. She smells great and the yield looks pretty decent. super dense buds! I decided to harvest earlier- 8 weeks vs 9 weeks to get a more energetic high out of the blueberry :)

Day 30 Growth: So the ladies have been developing bud sights all over. As expected they didnt get big allowing 5 plants in the tent. Training: So the girls got tied down before stretch and all branches caught up like i wanted. They also had a mild defoliation yesterday to increase light penetration

They stretched so much i almost ran outta room for my light lol. They loving their feed and doing really well so far i think.

Week 2: Light Struggles, First Adjustments & the Patience Test Update: 14.03.25 Good morning, grow fam! Week 2 of my photoperiod journey is running – a mix of challenges and small wins. Here’s a look at the early days of my Blueberry and Durban Poison seedlings. Current Observations: Light Deficiency & Stretching Stems The first days post-germination were intense: The seedlings developed extremely long, thin stems (check the photos!), a clear sign of insufficient light. Since I’m intentionally avoiding extra lighting to save resources, I had to improvise: - Tray Rotation: I rotate the seedling tray multiple times a day to ensure even exposure to the weak March sunlight. - DIY Support: For the most stretched seedlings, a bent wire acts as a crutch to prevent them from collapsing. Interestingly, the tomato and cucumber plants in the same tray show no issues – their stems stay compact. Seems like veggies are better adapted to low-light conditions than cannabis! Nutrients & Alfa Boost: An Experiment Even though my Biobizz Lightmix should provide enough nutrients for the first weeks, I tested a sample of Alfa Boost (freebie from the grow shop) during watering. The product claims to boost roots and stress resistance – perfect for my light-stressed babies. So far, no negative reactions, but no explosive growth either. Slow Growth – No Cause for Concern The plants are growing just millimeters per day, but that’s okay. My focus is on building sturdy, resilient plants, not speed. Once days get longer and sunnier, growth should pick up. They’ll stay indoors until mid-May anyway – plenty of time to bulk up. Next Steps & Tweaks - Transplanting in 1–2 Weeks: Once the first true leaf pairs emerge, they’ll move to small pots with my Biobizz All-Mix blend. - First Topping Soon: Once the plants hit 4–5 nodes, I’ll top them to encourage bushier growth. Week 2 Takeaway: Patience is key! Even in suboptimal conditions, I trust Dutch Passion’s resilient genetics. Fingers crossed for greener progress next week. Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great week. It was a good week again for the 5 mainlines, I did some final LST to try and keep the mains level, and I also defoliated the lower leaves to improve the air flow. I am still feeding the same veg nutrients which is just amor si, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will start transitioning to flower nutrients tomorrow and I will gradually switch over to all over flower nutrients by the end of the week. The ladies are about 24" inches tall, but I do anticipate them growing some more before the stretch ends. I am pretty much done with LST at this point, I will just continue to defoliate as necessary and make sure they are enjoying their environment. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Start of week 2 flowering:) loving the structure like a little Bush! Moved her into the back under 1 3500 autocob :) all smiles people really happy the way she's coming along ! Ladybugs were introduced to help with my thrips issue huge differences :) Some updated shots !! Almost start of week 3 of flowering !

Not much changed this week in regard to growth. Except the fattening of buds is all I’m waiting on. A few more pistils are darkening n there are plenty of trichomes on the buds n leaves! Even big leaves r covered. Trichomes r mainly milky n clear with a tiny amount of amber. Hoping these buds get a nice bit bigger before I must give her the chop!

the headbuds of the rainbow triangle were already harvested with the other plants (Forbidden Nectar and Sunset Kush Pop Clone), as one of the thick headbuds had already a little bit budrod We left the rest of the plant for another week. During this week, the lower buds really put on weight again. The head buds are already dried and will be cured. The rest has now been hung up to dry.
