Day 8 - I topped off each of the solo cups with a little more soil. Might just be my lighting but the leaves are looking kinda light in color to me. Other than that everything seems to be going well. Day 9 - Leaf color looks fine now, probably just the white balance in the photos. I picked up some free worm tea from my local hydro shop today and gave most of it to my outdoor garden (no cannabis) and a small portion to the ladies in the tent. It's looking like they're almost large enough to transplant but I still haven't set up my larger tent yet. Soon! Day 12 - Finished setting up my new tent and transplanted the ladies. Tent is 100x100x200cm and I now have 2 300w 2nd Gen Roleadro LEDs. Going to see if this Cellmax Rootbooster makes any difference in the transplant. I'd noticed the 3BOG was looking kinda droopy lately. It was also the only transplant that didn't go smoothly so hopefully it will make it through all this stress. Not sure what was causing the drooping originally though, all plants have been cared for the same until now. Day 14 - Noticing some light curling on the leaves. I'm thinking it's just the low humidity but I moved the lights up a few inches just to be safe. I haven't given them a full watering yet in the new 3 gallon pots so maybe the humidity will rise once they get some water. (Humidity up to 34% a few hours after watering)

Grow diary 11 stage 8 Day 71 to 80 This west coast o.g is attempting to flower after I knocked an hour off the lights. I'm thinking she needs me to go 12/12 so really her autoflower gene is redundant. She is taking over the tent and I'm having to move plants to another tent to finish them off. But on the bright side once the other 3 plants are out I can go back to adding a bit more nitrogen get it healthy and throw my net over her and switch to flower.

She’s flowering up nicely smooth daily growing in SoHum just add water

The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing thick and fast, with very short node intervals creating a thick canopy. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 2.5L per day. Lowered the average RH in the space to 50%. ----prior 4 weeks updates ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-06 in flowering stage. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. The Indica dominant strain is really shining with incredible dense growth and thick branches that don't bend as easily as it's Sativa neighbour. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-30 in vegetative stage - switching the light regime to flowering. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period prior to switching light regime - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Maintain lights off from Dec-31, 10:00 until Jan 1 - 18:45 allowing a 32hr darkness period prior to switching the light regime. Light regime is set for 12.5/11.5 on/off allowing me a better maintenance window for my living situation. Both plants are growing fast and strong, showing their genetic traits. Some shoots are going through the net already. Have started to tuck branches as they grow to fill up any gaps. Did minor defoliation on both plants near their stem base and centres. Some green algae on roots/coco medium on the surface of the pot. Have defoliated some more which hopefully helps with air circulation at the area. Will monitor over the week - may need to decrease watering frequency, although they seem to be keeping up drinking. Lowered the High Humidity setting of the extraction fan to 60% - which effectively keeps it running at least 75% of the time, and removed the humidifier. Will monitor and adjust as necessary lowering the setting to 50% in a few weeks whilst flowering. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-23 in vegetative stage. Installed the ScrOG net - Set at 20cm from the base of the plants, being 55cm from ground. The plant is showing great growth, lots of branching and new growth sprouts. A few branches are beginning to come through the net and almost all main branches are now tied down horizontally after the two recent toppings. Applied more LST and will wait for the branches to reach the net and start tucking. The AC Infinity fan is currently only running intermittently with its current settings. This seems to impact the utilisation and effectiveness of the carbon filter in use. The desired outcome is for the fan to be running for longer periods whilst in Auto config. Lowered the High Level Humidity from 70% to 60%, and more importantly, lowered the Max Speed from 4 to 2 with the intent that a lower fan speed will result in longer periods where the extraction fan is operated to remain below threshold targets for the grow space. Plant growth continues to be strong at the end of the week. Big fan leaves near the top are beginning to look a little serrated and dark, similar to the start of this grow. This may be due to the extra CalMag being added which was the issue at the start of the grow. Will keep monitoring and half the CalMag dosage on next feed. Importantly, I have learnt nutrient mixing of the CalMag should be done prior to the Canna Coco A & B. To date I have done the opposite which may explain my earlier issues. Fertigating daily at the start of the light cycle. One more week of vegetative growth before switching to flowering although I may need to switch earlier due to the vigorous growth and considering the stretch yet to come. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My grow setup includes; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom. Passive intake of air is from a closed off section of the room where the central heating boiler sits - the intake is warm air (20 degC.) and fairly dry (40% RH) during the winter months. - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 - ventilation fans - aquarium heater - small oil heater - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots and 3.5L general pots for seedling stage - Canna Coco substrate and nutrients - pH and EC/TDS meters - Thermo/Hygro meter

The plants stopped growing in height and are now in FULL FLOWERING mode. Every day more and more flower clusters appear and start to build colas at the sidebranches now. The trichome production is also in full swing, the plants get stickier every day and smell DELICIOUS. The Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants have a sweet sandelwood-smell like the AK-47 but also with peach undertones from the Barbara Bud in it. I LOVE THE AROMA!

The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. In der fünften Blütewoche zeigt sich der Erfolg des Scroggens deutlich. Die Pflanze hat das Netz vollständig durchwachsen, und die Blüten verteilen sich gleichmäßig über die gesamte Fläche. Um die Stabilität der immer schwerer werdenden Blüten sicherzustellen, habe ich zusätzliche Netze aufgehängt. Außerdem habe ich die Beleuchtung von 400 Watt auf 720 Watt erhöht, um den Blüten noch mehr Energie zuzuführen und das Wachstum weiter zu fördern. Die Ergebnisse sind bereits sichtbar, mit dichten und kraftvollen Blütenständen, die sich vielversprechend entwickeln.

Mais uma semana tranquila, nenhuma grande alteração dos parâmetros de temperatura e umidade, ph ou EC. Realizei a retirada das folhas mais antigas pois elas estavam enormes e largas, ocupando espaço de iluminação das plantas menores com quem dividem espaço. Em breve faço a colheita da Gorilla Rainbows e elas irão para o grow de 0,8x0,8 e terão maior espaço aéreo e de raízes para finalizar sua vegetação e em seguida farei a virada para floração. Fiz um ajuste na nutrição para poder testar. O objetivo e conseguir entregar os ppm de cada elemento muito próximo do feedchart da Advanced Nutrients, porém usando fertilizante mineral muito mais barato e acessível no meu país, e algumas sobras q tenho da linha GH Sigam também meu Instagram @casadasarvoresgrow Cultivo Medicinal pessoal. Entered diary of the month for the first time here on GD. It’s been a good run thanks to Ethos Genetics and Front Row AG Nutrients. Grow diaries has been kinds shitty lately. I’ve tried my best to upload as many good photos as possible. I know I grow a little differently than most here on grow diaries. Push the plants as hard as you can, lots of heat/humidity/co2 and high EC. My motto, if you’re gonna grow, harvest as much as you can with the space you have. Overall this was one of my best runs in a while. Deep orange and cream/cake smells and vigorous growth made this a great strain.
