I highly encourage newbies to run with this strain and don’t look back. Super tolerant that produces both yield and quality. Luckily I didn’t run into any deficiencies, disease, or pests. Temps and humidity where on point the entire run. The only neg would be these girls got wayyyy to tall. I had to remove light hangers to gain 5 inches. Even at that I had buds with 5 inches of a 1000w HPS HID. Hood is air cooled so heat wasn’t an issue but one plant def had light stress. Yield and quality is fantastic. I was hoping for a pound for no real reason other than is sounds cool to yield a full 16 ounces. Even more so than yield I was looking for top notch quality and I must say these girls made it. I’m not sure if they reach the 25% THC the strain is known for but either way the can’t be far behind. Smoke tests reveal a smooth smoke with a slight pungent gassy taste. High hit mid way thru lean cone With an energetic yet relaxing high. Lasted over two hours and I’m no light weight. Saved tones of larf nugs, sugar leaves and fans leaves for batches of butter and maybe some hash. Wife wants some fans leaves for a skin lotion. Overall a great run and next run of the 4 best plants is ready to go. Update 5 days after harvest. Buds are starting dry out but still have plenty of moisture. Prob another 5 days till dry. Smell is increasing by the day becoming really pungent. Canna butter came out awesome. Planning on making some bubble hash with sugar leaves and some larf. Update 8 days after harvest. Buds are dry enough for jars. Hanging buds weighed over 13 oz. Still have a bunch drying in racks After jarring for 8 hours, received a pungent odor. I think these girls are gonna stinkkkk. Hoping the taste is there. Potency is 👌. What a great first experience. Happy with this smooth run with no real issues. Can’t be happier with The product at the end. I made some canna butter and tincture. Wife made some skin lotion. I have bubble bags on the way and 2 ounces of leaf matter and an ounce of larf that’ll be going thru a bunch of washes. This growing this is for me. Tons of work and time but in the end it’s worth it.

11/24/2021 First true leaves are showing, transplanted 7 jiffy pellets into their first pots. Should be good for a couple weeks. Interesting to see how all the single finger leaves are developing differently. 11/25/2021 Transplantation complete #8 potted up into a small pot temporarily, Will start feeding next week Mirimichi 901C One ounce (7.8ml) to a gallon. I am guessing (prediction) #2,#6 might be male. (Both are vigorous girls) But time will tell.

Hey guys and welcome to start of Week 8! 🌻 Today is day 21 of flower so i went ahead and cut most of the plats Fanleaves off. It took a while but now the Airmovement is improved and the humidity should also be lower. I also hope I didn‘t stress them too much. From now on they will be reseaving less and less Nitrogen going forward. I hope the colours come through as well 🤞🏻 Thanks for following along and I will keep updating the progress. Happy growing 🍀

It was a perfect grow. The plant is ready and its 2 days before harvest. She will be potent, i cant wait to smoke her. I am happy that i had no problem with her.

HARVEST DAY!!!.... What a beautiful plant.. I can't wait to give her a taste.. Was expecting to push her another week.. But a closer look showed that there were alot of amber already.. Kinda hard to see them against the purple calyxes along with with the Mars Hydro TS 1000 on as well.. But she should be perfect! Oh I cant wait!!! Will be updating with the drying and curing as I go!!! So happy!!! 😭😭😭 Drying - Day 4... Ok so humidifier is definately not needed this time lol.. For a couple days the room and box were at 70% so I took the water and filter out of the humidifier and just running it as a fan to help move the air around the small room its drying in.. The box also has a very small and weak computer fan which is just pulling the air out SLOWLY but SURELY.. Now the humidity inside the box has been reading 66% constantly for the last 2 days! This will be my first harvest that doesnt dry in 3 - 5 days without a humidifer! Maybe cuz I watered that morning?? Idk.. But this is much better.. Hoping for at least a 7 day dry.. 10 or 12 would be nice.. But I doubt that very much lol.. Anyways.. Will still be updating as I go!!! Drying - Day 5... So I went ahead and trimmed all the smaller nugs and colas.. Leaving the 3 biggest colas (back of the box) to trim in the morning tomorrow. I wish I would have lollipopped some.. Alot of larfy, leafy nugs.. But still gonna smoke that shit! Lol.. Took about 2.5 hours to trim what I did today.. Keeping the trim (duh) to make some bubble hash.. Or maybe just gather the keif and press it.. Haven't made up my mind on that yet.. Either way it's gonna be some epic shit! The smell is still so amazing! You could probably fuck up the drying and curing and still smell the citus! Lol.. But I will still keep updating as I go! Drying - Day 7.. I went ahead and put some smaller nugs into a jar to see what they were reading.. Still way too high.. In about 8 hours it was reading 84% RH so they still got at least a couple more days drying. Drying - Day 8... Ok so I was feeling the nugs I already trimmed and jarred.. They feel pretty crispy. So I'm jarring them again today. I have trimmed up 2 more of the bigger colas but I can feel that they still have some moisture.. So later today I'm going to finish trimming up the last one (which is gonna be awful lol it has alot of smaller branches that are gonna be very tedious) but that one is gonna have to be left out to dry a little longer than the rest. As of now, I have 3 jars filled.. I may even need to buy another jar.. I really wish I had some big mouth mason jars so I can buy those lids for curing! Those things look legit asf! Later that night... So I have now finished trimming.. The jars that I had already filled were reading 62% RH on the dot.. I like to have it at 65% - 68% RH to have some room to get it down to 62% after a week or two.. But this shouldnt be any issue.. Will add 62% packs when the jars get below 60%.. But since they are already at 62%.. I dont want to burp very often at all.. 62% RH is where I like my bids at. I have a sandwich bag FULL of trim.. That is gonna make some amazing bubble hash! Very airy bud.. But this strain is very beautiful.. Smells great.. Just the airy buds.. Will definately grow again.. Will update with a taste test in 15 - 30 days.. Would rather get the cure done before I taste her.

They’re chopped we will be checking in again in 7-10 days and start the the whole weighing process. They have beautiful color they got dark now I see the why the name lol. I’m glad I was able to keep her and give her a proper grow. Make sure to check out the other diary we are at week 3 of Veg and we flip to flower next week.

8/31 Week 7 and the damned tent is full .... such problems err? 25 sq ft of green, did not expect this really was hoping the extra space would allow more plants but this is full on 5 Plants doing well just trying to make em all fit Nuets remain as is Defoliation to try and get they to fit in the tent a bit easier, removed fan leaves. 9/1 Upped PK to 2ml/g the cotton balls have begun 9/2 Stretching nicely at 28" 9/4 Major defoliation cleaned bottoms middle tops get the buds in light and help them fit in the tent better. Still hitting about 1 inch-ish a day nut seem to be slowing

🇺🇸 Week 9 of Growth – Mother Gorilla 🇺🇸 Hey everyone, we’re back for Week 9 of growth for the Mother Gorilla from Royal Queen Seeds. This week wasn’t great—the plant struggled to recover after the defoliation. I had major pH fluctuations all week, which really slowed down growth. Now at Week 9, I really want to switch to flowering, but the plant isn’t developing well enough. For the past three weeks, things haven’t been going smoothly, and it’s frustrating. This morning, after returning from the weekend, pH had risen to 6.4, which is way too high for hydro at this stage. So I flushed the reservoir and started fresh with a new, properly adjusted nutrient solution. I kept all the nutrients the same, and all other parameters remain unchanged. Now, my main focus this week is keeping the nutrient solution stable so the plant can resume healthy growth. Nothing else to report—just pH fluctuations and slowed growth. The plant really needs to regain strength before flowering, or it’ll be a problem. Cette semaine n’a pas été top, la plante a eu du mal à récupérer après la défoliation. J’ai eu de grosses fluctuations de pH toute la semaine, ce qui a ralenti la croissance. On est à 9 semaines de croissance, et j’aimerais vraiment passer en floraison, mais la plante ne se développe pas assez bien. Ça fait trois semaines que ça ne se passe pas comme prévu, et c’est frustrant. Ce matin, en rentrant du week-end, le pH était monté à 6,4, ce qui est bien trop élevé pour l’hydro à ce stade. J’ai donc vidé la soupe et préparé une nouvelle solution nutritive ajustée. J’ai gardé les mêmes nutriments, et toutes les constantes restent inchangées. Cette semaine, mon objectif est de stabiliser la solution nutritive pour que la plante puisse reprendre une bonne croissance. Rien d’autre à signaler, à part les fluctuations de pH et le ralentissement. Elle doit vraiment reprendre de la vigueur avant la floraison, sinon ça risque d’être compliqué.
