day 35. feb 19- been slow to update, scrog was plonked on top of plant as it showed signs of height becoming a ptoblem given the other 3 plants. seems to have stalled a bit this week after application of screen but after 4 days she seems to be back in business allbeit slow in comparison to my bubblegum which was started at the same time(see other post). nutrient wise im trying to follow the bio canna schedule which is designed more for soil than my special mix which i added a BIT of soil to, as such it likes to drink a litre seemingly every 4 days. contin7ing to interchange nutes with fresh water but also not wanting to flush too much of the goidness out. 1l of nutes then ill follow with 300 and 300 ml of fresh ph'd water. also given the fact the organic nutes ph themselves in my mixing jug, im wondering what happens when i pour acid ph-downed water to my pot.. wonder whether it better to just give pure distilled at ph 7 than take water from 7.8 to 6.2 using acid to then feed the plants. *shrug*.

I do not use the child lock so I was confused. I opened the app and the box is offline. I do not know when this happened during the night. That is the reason the door would not open. I had to use the key that I used to open the box initially after shipment. So keep your key. Response time regarding the offline issue was over 5 hours as they are in California.  Resolution was to delete the app and reload. However, it took 3+ days for the resolution. They kept sending me the startup, how to connect by Wi-Fi, Customer support is lacking. The box had been working for 10 days. Fortunately, the app reset with the same data regarding the grow cycle and nothing was lost. Also good thing I checked the settings, I found that switching from germination to autoflower, the light cycle changed from 16/8 to 12/12. I usually run autos on 18/6. I decided to run at 16/8 for now.  The calendar within the app has scheduled daily tasks that indicate what to do when, which includes watering, LST, trimming, adding amendments etc. I created a grow plan based on the scheduled tasks in the calendar. It is downloadable in Excel if you want to create a grow plan for yourself. Note, i easnt able to ioload excel. When you complete them, you check off the calendar. All the highlights in orange are the calendar prompts for tasks.  The blogs indicate the Abby Button should show the environmental stats. Mine does not so I asked if I should get a new button or is my model the basic one without that feature. Mine is the basic version and the button does not show stats. This is the 8th week. Thursday will be 9 weeks of 12/12. Some trichs are amber. They just added a good bunch of girth over the past few days, but most of the pistils are red now. The rest of them have been dropping leaves consistenly but the canopy remains full so they must be putting out more leaves. I just flushed to 80% runoff and found out that I had 1200ppm. I just got an ec meter but my last reading said closer to 600 so idk what happened there. I flushed until I had runoff ppm of about 150. Now they're back in the grow tent. I don't want to keep assaulting them with my microscope. I think they're ready. Just gonna let them settle another day or two to dry out a bit. I took one small branch off the small Wedding Cake plant on Thursday and I've just been watching it dry on my counter. It's been 5 days and the stem snaps but still leaves a fiber connecting. I put it into a small jar with a 64RH thing. I just want to try it. It already smells amazing. The leaves on the big CBD Blue Shark plant are going really yellow and some other colours are starting to come out as well. The buds all fattened up and got more frosty again. I was worried they were foxtailing but they got more calyxes underneath the peaks and have been making more of a pyramid shape. They're really close to peak. Harvest day will be March 17 or 18. March 17 1023pm chopped and hung after lights off all day. RH was 65% before I chopped and 50% after I closed the window and cut the plants off the saturated pots. I did a wet trim to prevent mold. The buds are sticky af. Gonna hang them to dry for 7-9 days before curing in jars :) March 18 : checked the RH when I woke up and it's chilling at 45% 😎 March 19 : just checked to see how they were drying. There are seeds in every plant. RIP I'll update when I put them in jars and again a few weeks later for final review. Overall it was a good grow despite the rocky start and a good introduction to the mainline technique and my new grow space. Next grow I should have everything pretty well dialed in. March 23 They were hanging for 3 days. Rh was around 45, then spiked to 65 overnight when I forgot to turn the fans back on. Temp was high at around 26.they felt wet after 2 days, and bone dry after 4 days. The stems still didn't snap but I put them in jars anyway. A day later, jar RH was 50%. I burped all the jars and there was a smell from the new jars. I took all the weed out, washed out the jars, and did a dry trim on the weed. One of the Wedding Cake plants must have gone hermie. I didn't see any bananas and didn't even realize there were seeds until the very end. The seed pods looked just like calyxes while the plants were growing. Many of the nugs are unusable. Under the sugar leaves are just layers and layers of seeds. Some weren't hit that badly. The CBD Blue Shark is much better off but still has some seeds. I'm trying to stay positive. It's a bit of a shock though. I'm anxious to try the finished product. If the flowers at least taste good and have a good effect, all is not lost.

Hi Growmies,this was the last week of nutes she’s getting. Feels like I completely misjudged how far she is along, as it seems like she has started the ripening process. Ph and ec was in line the whole time, once the leaves started fading i thought that I have a lock out or sth, so I fed canna flush for a day and continued with a fresh reservoir as per my regular feeding schedule, To no avail, as she continues to fade, even after. Not a Biggy, as the trichomes are definitely all far enough along to harvest her after the next week of flushing. Thanks for stepping by and until next week :)

(This week has pics from weeks 2 and 3 because I couldn’t edit past weeks and had more photos. Future weeks will be correct) LST is well underway - pulling the main stalks back from the light to keep the canopy flat. The glueberry is growing much larger/faster than the amnesia haze. The glueberry is also showing some copper tips so we may skip the nutrients for the next watering and see how that develops. The glueberry is 20 cm from the light but still no signs of heat stress (from what I can tel) despite the hot weather.

NOTE 1: Afgooey Auto pheno #3 turns out it's a MALE. Resembled nothing like her two sisters ran at the same time. In fact, I had to move her to the 12/12 tent to initiate flowering. Little did I know or expect She would be a He. Lola by the Kinks is rattling round my brain about now ;) FEEL FREE TO HIT THE LIKE BUTTON IF YOU LIKE WHAT YOU SEE ;) 2x4 French Macaron - at the time of this posting, FM is heading into week 8 flower. Second extensive flushing w/fresh rain water due to acidic conditions (ph >5). Been struggling with ph the entire flowering. I speculate ph issues due to over feeding. Ph is roughly 5.8 to 6.0 after flushing. At this point, flushing with plain RO water until harvest. NOTE 2: I've introduced two 5 gallon bubble buckets into the 2x4 grow tent. Both buckets have medium air stones running from a 125 gph air pump. Given French Macaron isn't scheduled for harvest until mid-January, I might not have cutting ready. First grow may have to be from seed. Update later. 3x3 Afgooey Autos and clones from previous grow - Afgooey #1 and #2 are firing on all cylinders. #2 running a bit acidic (>5), so flushed back to neutral with roughly 7-8 gallons of fresh rain water ph at 7.0 to 7.2. Same with clones (i.e., ph very low). Flushed with fresh rain water too. A couple days later plants look so much better. Wait till plants nearly dry before next watering. Trimmed and cleaned up three of the clones growing weird. Felt a bit like trimming a bonzai tree. Let's see how they respond.

Finally flipped the lights over to flower mode and took the humidifier out of the tent. So far so good we are gonna keep watching to make sure we didn't over do the nuts. Don't want any Nut burn that can be annoying. make sure you hit the follow button

Week 7 Flowering / Everything is looking great! The plants are well developed and covered in trichomes. Last week or close to it: about 50% milky trichomes on the Critical Widow and Amnesia Lemon, with some still clear and a few amber. I’m thinking about harvesting either in the next few days or in about a week while continuing feeding. Aroma-wise: Critical Widow of the lower buds has a really unique profile — like a sweet candy Amnesia Lemon slightly salty, with a subtle background of peanut and a hint of lemon. Week 7- The plant with yellowing tips has healed from too much light. All plants are fed with Mother Earth Grow. February 2nd we will be switching to flower.

Day 35 - few pics and vids..... everything going along nicely 👍 This is a pretty big update, so i'll add to it over the next few days, as i finish building it all.... i'm building these 2 x SS haze, the full tent, just finishing up the setup..... trimming them, changing solutions to 12/12 and flower..... changed the exhaust fan and filter setup to the better outside the tent method.... and installed 12v CPU computer fan, lol ("alta9" fits in 4in ducting perfectly), drops wattage on extractor fan.... 10w tops... got a few kg of active carbon and making/replacing the carbon filter .... i'll add afew vids of the new setup in afew days... Day 36 - few pics/vid of new tent setup...... "alta 9" fan :) post tomorrow after i finish trimmin and settin up night mode etc...... and into tomorrow we go, lol ... Day 37.... slowly getting there..... little bit more to go... this should make things abit more interesting..... right tank (short babie) has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 150 ml -dutch master one gold FLOWER.... 6.4 PH - 1400 PPM left tank has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 50 ml of elements a and 50ml of b and 10 ml of nitro and 20ml of Crystalic (molasses/pot) .... 6.5 PH - 1200 PPM more pics / vids of the finished tent setup.... roots, transfer, etc... Day 37 is alot of vids of the clean and change to flower..... edit - day after build noticed left tank (nutrifield) not enough bubbles..... pulled out the 4 air pump and swapped to the 2 x original oxipumps... much better, also to fix the problem with ph goin high, and bubbles not stirin the mix, was to add another 10ml of crystallic and another 5ml of nitro... then pumped both tanks with ph down and set em to 5.8-6.2 - both plants have fully recovered from the big trim, and bounced back within 12-24hrs, post pics/vid in abit..... Day 39 - made a freaky video... was curious about what the plants would see looking up at the lights... the lights and buzzing of air compressors and bubbling tank water, and dazzling lights turned out pretty cool in vid editor, was in selfie mode.... and final vid of the bounceback from trim :) 👍😎

Week 2 Some buds are forming, need to defoliate and lollipop shortly. Starting to smell. Had to supercrop a few of them, they recovered over night. Still stretching but it's manageable now. Back 2 on the left are a lot lighter in color almost yellow, not sure what's going on there, different strains but still. ..there still praying in the morning don't look sick but still something is off.. gonna check runoff on next watering. Any advise questions or concerns would be much appreciated.

Well these three girls had a rough week to say the least. Two of the girl's became an afternoon snack for Pebbles our pet rabbit lol. He chewed on the main stalk of each, and ripped the what im going to call bark. I used vaseline to keep out disease and pests and also placed 3m transpore tape (medical tape) on to "replace" the bark so to say. Switched to transitional bloom nutrients by lowering the amount of grow pro and introduced monster bloom and nirvana.
