Stretchy mguee over here... stems have yet to harden to my liking, removed all lowers and supercropped to see if that helps. Girls are looking stunning, first round with the cropsalt nothing else PH 5.8, no fluctuations, DTW. It been a slow transition to flower but this could also be due to flippin’ early, in a weeks time when I see more pistils and flower development I’ll be switching over to Bloom nutes. I'm really impressed with this strain the growth is explosive and no issues at all so far, she has had som lst done and light defoliatian. Hopefully she is starting to go into flower soon, she smells quite strong already.

In the end, it's still a nice phenotype, but not at all frosty. Very dense buds with a slightly lemony scent.

9/12 Sprayed 1 tbsp K Bicarb with 1/4tsp dawn. Only had time to use a half gallon. I've used more but with all the defoliation this seemed to work and I was in a hurry. I can't ask those watching my plants to do actual labor when I'm not home. I wouldn't want anyone working on my plants but me anyway. I defoliated dead stuff. I shut down the motion sensors informed the other growers (except the person who's shift it was to watch) and I couldn't make it down there on foot let alone a vehicle. I'm pretty sure it's earwigs but the only bother new shoots so that's a good thing. Things are getting close and looking good. I need to do another app of BT. I heard a storm may be coming I'll need to check the weather. 9/15 After a few good days of weather we are in for some rain. Supposably a big storm but it looks like I won't get the worst of it. No water obviously. Something (probably earwigs or jpn beetles) eating or lollipopping lower things. They seem to leave flowers alone. It's just low shoots. Everything is flowering incredibly. I checked trichs on one of my mystery seeds and it looks done. I'm considering taking it. It's in my garage for 24 hrs of darkness and to avoid rain until I make my decision. I also took the two lowest branches off on DJ Short blueberry to taste test and see where I'm at. I probably shouldn't but o do this every year. It will be good to try the mystery bud before I harvest it all. It's just a little guy but the buds are rock hard and with the weather and pm and stuff I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. Fuck. buds were soaking wet though so it must've rained. I have to go back down anyway to add a couple strings and do a little more defoliating. Did a treatment with k bicarb this morning.. 1 tbsp with dawn in a half gallon sprayer. I also need to address this earwig problem. They are ravaging some secondary lower branches and Im sure they are spreading disease. I only have a few weeks left and I want the best quality I can possibly get. I plan to put gorilla tape on the outside of the grow bag (double width) and petroleum jelly on the stems. That way they can't climb the bag. If they are in the soil of the bag hopefully the jelly will stop them. I'll also try beer as I've heard that works. I really don't want to resort to borax. Oh and I may have had a visitor last night. I'll have to check the cams. Nothing on the ones I checked but I have some game cams at different angles I haven't checked yet. It was probably just a nocturnal animal. I hope the cannabis gods are with me. 9/18 Whatever is eating my plants (earwigs I assume) are progressing from lower secondary or tertiary branches and new shoots to small buds. Looking at trichs some plants look ready. One seedling and the blueberries. I'd like the blueberries to go longer but I'd risk losing them. Fungal and mold issues aren't the greatest either. I was hoping for a big swell but if the weather stays raining and foggy like this it might be better to harvest a little early. I got a second opinion this morning and I'm leaning on taking the seedling and at least the one blueberry with the worst damage that dropped most of its leaves. I'll see how the bottom branch smokes this afternoon and make my decision then. Didn't feed for fear of lockout or if decide to cut. UPDATE: After the second consult with a different local grower I decided to harvest the blueberry that was furthest along and dropping it's leaves. It was done. Luckily it had been flushed with all this sheet rain we've gotten. It rains hard as I speak. Last year I think I had two strings the length of the huge garage and that lasted me all year. This one plant took an entire string to itself. If the weather cooperates this will be a good day. I also flushed the mystery seed I was going to take hoping it might fill out but trichs are very Amber and the bud is DENSE. Not risking mold or insect damage or theft. This took hours to harvest this ONE Blueberry plant. I had to harvest limbs. This was when I could see damage best. I also am curing the buds from the lower branch I took earlier and the other bud that is done. I plan on testing it out tomorrow. I could smoke now but Im already burnt and tired and want to try this with a clear head. I can't believe how long this took. One Big and one little down 10 more to go. Phone died so I couldn't take any pictures.

Transplanted into medium size pots :) they seem to have taken transplant just fine. The smell is also really nice given their small size.

Die Pflanze hat innerhalb der letzten 3 Wochen einen starken Stretch von knappen 21 cm hingelegt. Das bedeutet, das die Diesel Sativa Gene jetzt voll durchgeschlagen haben. Nach dieser Woche kommt der Stretch jedoch zur Ruhe und Mann sieht der Pflanze an, das sie sich jetzt auf die Blütenbildung konzentriert. Die Trichome fangen an zu sprießen und ein säuerlicher Geruch sticht langsam hervor, so wie es gewünscht ist. Auch die Blattform wird an den oberen Trieben immer schlanker. Die Blütentriebe bilden sich immer stärker aus und die Stigmen fangen richtig ansich rasant zu entwickeln. Bei diesem Genotypen, ist das Wuchsverhalten weitgehend ähnlich, nur die Hauptwuchsphase war mit etwas kürzeren Internioden abständen geprägt. In der Geruchsentwicklung kommt die GMO Genetik, meiner Meinung nach etwas mehr zu Geltung, da sich aktuell etwas mehr der säuerliche Grapefruit Geruch durch kommt. Plants are doing good this week, I started to lower the feed a bit from 1.6 down to 1.2 as some of them are finishing off and the rest are not to far behind noticed a bit of burn on upper leaves suggesting to heavy of a feed as well. Updated the heights on them as well as they grew a tiny bit. Been noticing its hard to capture the frost on them with my camera as the overhead lights mess up the photo somehow. notice when they are beside the tent with reflected light on them it shows up a bit better so took some individual selfies of them on a back background. Liverwort is also doing well, once this plant is all done I have a feeling its going to like its new home. Aug 8: Purple Ghost Candy is looking really good. She is continuing to stretch and lots of buds are forming. Had the AC Infinity UV lights out for first time today. The strength of natural UV light drops quickly this far north in mid-August. We run out of strong light before it gets too cold here. Aug 9: added third scrog net and clipped it to the twine. Kludge method but it works so well I don’t know how I’d upgrade it further. Works great and provides strength and flex to the plant. Unsung heroes include malt vinegar for pH adjustment and Dr Bronners as a wetting agent. The surfactant lowers the surface tension of the water allowing it to penetrate the soil more easily. The smell also helps keeps bug away, it is claimed. Anyway, it works. Peppermint is the usual one for growers but the store was out last time and I’m currently using Lavender. Aug 11: don’t take flash pics of your photoperiod plants unless you follow up with a red light. I’ve done it this way for years now with no hermies so the red light must help avoid problems somehow. And it is definitely a bloom booster and allows ripening under stronger sunlight. The 730 nm far red light is recommended for several different reasons.

2/4: Photo session day! These are the fastest, most vigorously growing plants in the garden, but also the slowest to flower.😕 I had a total infestation of Cattus (felis) which I documented in my photos. Eradication seems impossible, so I'm opting to allow a degree of predation, but hoping trichome production will, at least, deter them soon.😁 2/5: I fed everybody today with about 3/4 gallon and sprayed them down with Axiom harpin proteins for the last time this run. I made a DIY CO2 generator today using a 5 gallon cat litter bucket, a small aquarium pump, some air line tubing, and a bubble stone, plus 6 cups of sugar and 30 grams of wine yeast in 2 gallons of warm water. I put the tube where the CO2 is exhausted up against the back of the oscillating fan that aims down over the plants so they are being constantly forcefully bombarded with high levels of CO2(1300+ppm) from above. I set the ac infinity controller to allow the temps to climb up to 89f before the fan turns on. 2/6: These girls are taller than anybody else in the garden, and still stretching (unfortunately). Surprisingly, they're also the slowest to pop pistils. They are flowering, but slow as hell for an indica dominant strain. I probably should have left them all in the dark for a full day when I switched to flower to encourage them to flip faster. I bought some Gro-Pro pot risers to elevate the pots so that they will dry out faster..seem pretty effective. 2/7: I foliar fed with big bloom and tiger bloom today. 2/8: I ordered a second 6" AC Infinity fan to connect to my controller, some ducting, and a diffuser which I'll mount to the wall, down near the floor. The fan unit will be in another closet, adjacent to the garden closet, and I'll run ducting up through that closet ceiling into the attic, with a filter on the end to keep bugs and particulates out. For the next 6 weeks or so, it will provide a supply of colder fresh air. I did the math, and it will now only take about 1 minute and 40 seconds to completely exchange the air in the closet. Depending on the outside air temp at the time, it should take anywhere between 8 and 20 minutes for the closet to heat back up to 80f and the fans to kick back on again. This Spring, on days when it's not cooler than 72f, I'll disconnect the duct in the closet and stretch it into that bedroom, clipped to the window unit air conditioner output, cranked down as low as it will go. This Summer, I'm gonna just run a pair of the quantum boards and grow 4 or 5 autos in there, but this should help keep the temps cooler in summer as well, without dedicating an air conditioner to the grow op.🙏 2/9: I foliar fed them with grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom and checked moisture in their pots.
