Day 72 - 07/01/20 This one was the only survivor of my 4 x RQS diary. my blueberry auto, jack herer auto and GG auto didnt sprout but the diesel did and here is her harvest! I added some nice photos of the plant and the yield was 325g wet weight. Should be over an ounce once its dried. Update - Dry weight was 30g although much of the bud is small :) Ive been curing for a few days and its insane how the flavour and burn changes throughout curing :) Update - Day 78 - 13/01/20 The sweet diesel smell and taste is coming through. buds are becoming more and more enjoyable to smoke as days go by. :) il post a few pictures later tonight! Added the photos of some buds and a video so you can all have an opinion on how my buds turned out visually. let me know in the comments :) Il do a few more curing updates to let you know how the second week of curing goes! Day 86 - 21/01/20 I finally finished the NYCD after about 2 weeks of curing. It smokes fairly well and is definitely the best thing ive grown so far :) Buds developed quality and a sweet earthy diesel flavour/aroma over the 2 weeks of curing. one major improvement i would make is to source high quality soil as i really struggled to flush this properly. even still without lab quality conditions ive never felt so depression free since ive been taking this medicine regularly. to finish up i will say that I liked the NYCD diesel taste but i still preferred sour diesel. The plant grew to a reasonable height around 60cm and produced an ounce of average bud. and I might not have won any GD competitions, but im still a winner! :'D Lucky for us I just started an Sour Diesel Auto from fastbuds so you can check that out to see what i thought of it compared to this one :)

Thanks once again to RQS for sending me this girl. She's not the most fruity smoke, but more of a pine with a unique tropical/banana peel to it. A nice strain for the cannasseur, and one I'm really enjoying, especially for my back. Thank you to everyone who follows, likes, comments and supports in any way. Because I have 4 seperate plants/strains in one tent, under one light, I've had to calculate these by dividing the conditions by 4 (4 plants in total sharing same conditions). Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. It's a secret. Ancient biochar-rich soils in the Amazon basin (known as Terra Preta) provide evidence of carbon stability lasting over 500 to 2,000+ years. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what I give mine. Can even add N in its NH4+ form

just put in the other growbox where I can keep the humidity lower the pH meter has stopped working so now I can only rely on the "pH perfect tecnology" until I get the litmus papers 😕 the flowers are starting to grow and become covered with resin ... seeing it grow gives a wonderful feeling 😍

Flowering week 8. Flower developing was quite slow because i had too low humidity too early. Now humidity should be ok. Ph 6.0 & ec lovered to 1.60. Plant started to drink heavily on fd 52.

I have to say, overall out of all 5 purple Lemonade seeds I’m not very happy with the results so far considering they was a little more pricey & the fact that I know how good these plants can turn out! Not sure if I just got some bad genetics or what’s up but pretty bummed about this run so far😅😅 hopefully things will start to look up! its day 35 since sproud and surag black rose is looking very good. grows the fastest looks the healthiest. Also trained her with the bending clips to make the branches stronger. I collected leave mold from the surrounding woods. a lot of white fungy hopefully usefull mycoriza.

Starting week 3 today, with a challenge ahead with this little bad girl! It seems to be a lack of Nitrogen, and I'm pretty afraid of burning the plant. I'm feeding the plant once each two days, with Seaweed Tonic, 150ml with the suggested dilution from the bottle. Now I have also a bottle of Canna Terra Vega, with NPKS 3-0-3-0. Is it a good idea to start feeding the plant, with also this nutrient? The soil is a mixture of 80% organic soil + 20% of coco coir. Could be a lack of nutrients from the soil? What is the best agenda to follow with nutrients? (: Cheers!! UPDATE (17/02 - Day 17): based on the suggestions made by many members, I've tried to gather the best of all and decided to make some moves in an effort to save this plant, and to avoid the same situation to the other 2 plants: #1 - Lifted the LED panel to double of the height, so the distance to the plants went from 50cm to 100cm #2 - This change with the distance from LED panel helped to low down the highest temperature achieved during the day from 27.5°C to 24°C #3 - Since day 15, the plants haven't been watered, in a move to try to dry a little bit the soil, once I was watering every day with something close to 250ml a day. Now I'll return with water in a few days, while I wait for some signals from the plants that they are needing water #4 - Pushed forward the idea to start feeding them this week, and maybe I give just a little bit of seaweed solution to root development when I come back with watering. Hope it works fine!
