Welcome to Week 8 of flower...... The plants have developed a more sour lemon scent. Which is pretty lovely to the nose. Both plants have really nice dense thick buds. Plant 1 is starting to show signs of fall colours. She has always had are lime green colour to her upper leaves. Now a beautiful red colour is appearing on the edges of leaves. Plant 2 the main colas have become so heavy that they are all leaning over. I've started introducing a bit of drought stress. Holding back between waterings. I'm hoping by doing this it will help to kick the girls into overdrive and start using stored sugars. It's seems to be working on plant 1 as the leaves are starting to yellow.

Week 10, so from today I stopped watering the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe and on Saturday no more light as well. Sunday is harvest day finally. Not much changed, I raised up the water with 25ml so the Purple Punch gets 200ml 2 x a day. That's all, since last week I started giving 13 hours darkness and 11 hours light and from Monday will be 12/12 after I harvested the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe and I can use the tent only for her. Fertilization will happen on the same days. Sunday fun day, Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is harvested. Purple Punch left alone. From tomorrow I will switch the light schedule 12/12. End of the week Purple Punch is 43 cm.

Harvest time for amnesia lemon haze. Intense lemon smell, tall stretchy girl with big sticky buds! While her height almost became an issue, she managed to finish with minimal light stress and just a few signs of foxtailing. Will update in 7-10 days with initial smoke and dry weight. compost teas seem to be really liked by these three girls. loving the growth on them. bud developement is good but not great. i think these girls are stressing the f%ck out still from the thrips, early fungus issues in veg and overall real bad things ive done to them (low temps,, low light etc etc)

Moved some plants to spot 2 more of a old lake grown over by reeds and now its dried up perfect to get them wet dry cycles as soil was not drying up at spot one need to build some beds down at spot 1 been putting abit of work in at spot 2

Day 65 Day 30 Flower Wow, this is a beast of an auto, she is doubling up these bud sites and keeping them nodes tight af 😋 Side branches where spewing off everywhere... So lollipopping done today, a few side branches lower down that were weaker and just life sucking got struck. I'm waiting to see the bounce back and upload the pictures as I know she will definitely show me some resilience 😍💚 I like this strain, I love this freebie. Day 67 Day 32 Flower - drinking Alot now, feeding every other water, 5L a go, 10%run off. I do this to prevent salt build up. It shows in comparison to when I didn't the amount of salts left in the bottom corners of the fabric pots. Fattening up nicely, bounced right back after I gave her a light hair cut and pulled some side arms and lollipopping. She is a strong bean 💪💚 Day 68 Day 33 Flower - Final pluck of the lollipopping and the defoliating. She really has swollen nicely since the first time. I have done pre photos and afters. Feed today, heavy, top up soil mix in pot incase up root. 😎💚

Her buds are getting huge. The trichomes are everywhere now and the smell is amazing. I had to add a lot of string just to support the branches. This strain is growing so incredible, I love it. I wish I had more of this strain. It was my only seed for now. Very happy (10/10)

Easy transplanted🤗

It has been a week of snap snap snap! let's call it accidental toppings - yes - multiple. The OG Kush seems to be quite fragile compared to other strains I've grown. Continued LST has resulted in me snapping off the end of the main stem and another major branch. Both days within switching the light regime. Now I have to fill up the net using lateral branches. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period (32hrs) prior to switching light regime at the beginning of the week - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Light green spots and other spots noted on big fan leaves, possibly a calcium or other deficiency. Spots are lighter shade, irregular though some are circular. End up turning bronze colour dust. No pests have been spotted during extensive inspections. The problem remains to older leaves only and doesn't seem to be affecting any new growth. I also think I may have some Nitrogen toxicity due to my CalMag solution having a NPK ratio of 6-0-0. Getting some low N solution this week so hopefully that will address any impact on the flowering stage. The plant still seems to be strong, forming strong branches and massive fan leaves. Growth is being tucked under the net to fill it up. Pruned a few stems and leaves from below the canopy which may never see the light of day. Run-off EC still remains below target. Tracking run-off volume/EC/pH at every fertigation event as I manage the feed EC to monitor what the plant is doing/feeding. Fertigation is maintained now to once a day (at lights on) to maintain the target EC. Some say OG Kush is a mix of ChemDawg with a Lemon Thai and Pakistani Kush. Others say that it’s just a special cutting of ChemDawg from the early 90s. The most obvious trait of OG Kush is its strong, unique, very dank, slightly citrus aroma, almost like fuel or strong detergent. The flavour of OG Kush is equally as strong and dank, with a long-lasting aftertaste. Strong mental and physical high - OG Kush is an extremely strong cannabis strain, with most experienced smokers listing it as one of their favourites. The effect is as strong physically as it is mentally. Though its effect is like an Sativa, the strain's genetics are mostly Indica. The effect is as strong and complex as the flavour. OG Kush takes around 8 weeks to flower and on average the yield is 500 grams per plant.

Harvest Update – Jixer (Exotic Genetix) Jixer has officially been harvested. This plant finished out beautifully with strong color expression and incredible resin production. Purple hues became very prominent across the top canopy while the lower buds stayed mostly green, giving the plant a really nice contrast at harvest. The plant produced enough flower to completely fill my Cannatrol Cool Cure, so final weight is still unknown until the buds finish the drying and curing process and are fully trimmed. Appearance & Structure • Top canopy developed deep purple coloration late in flower • Under-canopy buds remained bright green • Dense, well-stacked flower sites • Heavy trichome coverage across all buds and sugar leaves • Extremely sticky resin production Aroma Strong notes of pine cleaner with a sharp citrus edge, very loud once branches were cut. Equipment Performance Lighting: HLG 225 Diablo X LED performed exceptionally well. Bud density and trichome production were excellent under this fixture. Nutrients: The New Millennium nutrient lineup worked amazingly through the entire run. The plant stayed healthy throughout flower and finished with strong terpene and resin development. Harvest Notes • Entire plant harvested and loaded into the Cannatrol • Buds are currently beginning the Cool Cure process • Final dry weight will be determined after drying and trimming First Impressions This cultivar turned out extremely sticky with heavy trichome coverage. Resin production is some of the best I’ve seen in this tent. Very promising smoke once curing is complete.

Week 5 - One more excite week, smelling much strong, nugs are becoming bigger each day it past. Moby Dick still very healthy and thirst. Brazilian summer its almost to begin, air temperature inside the grow box it start to get warm, around 28º to 30º. Anxious to see what this baby can do, Harvest time is coming 😍 Cheers from Brazil.

The addition of an enzyme has produced amazing results that were shocking and worrying at first. Massive rise in EC and PH every 24 hours from 5.3 - 6.8. Research yet no sign of any harm to the plants, in fact they seem very happy! The enzymes has created an environment friendly to the beneficial microbes and fungi that has lead to a feeding frenzy (Which wouldn't have happened ad I used Hygrozyme from the start.). EC rises a point or two as the microbes and plants expel waste and create a plethora of negative charged hydrogen ions. Thus, the PH rises. Never above 6.8, strangely. Because the microbes are eating and shitting so well, they have added a lot of chilated nutrients that are easier for the plants to uptake at a wider range of PH (Yes, some as high as 6.8). The fact that there are so many bunches of calyxes sprouting and exploding, filling in the flower space is proof enough for me. Vegetative Week 4 – Pineapple Upside Down (Round 2) This fourth week of vegetative growth confirms a pattern that has unfortunately been present since the beginning of this run. The plant is technically growing, but visually she looks unhealthy, weak, and stressed. Overall structure, leaf quality, and general vigor are clearly not where they should be at this stage. Nutrient solution has been kept within a reasonable range, with pH maintained between 5.8 and 6.2 and EC around 1.1–1.2. Despite this, there is no clear positive response from the plant. At this point, it is difficult to identify a single root cause. It could be related to nutrition balance, substrate preparation, environmental parameters, lighting, or simply a combination of multiple small issues accumulating since the start. The humidity dome has now been fully removed. Given the plant’s current condition, maintaining excessive humidity no longer seems beneficial. The approach is now to simplify, stabilize, and observe. This run is clearly delayed, and expectations for a quick recovery are low. That said, the focus remains on learning from these early-stage difficulties and improving future starts, especially substrate preparation and initial environmental control. For now, the plant will continue to be fed consistently, without overreacting or introducing drastic changes. Observation and patience remain the priority. See you next week, and take care.
