Well here we are at the beginning of week 8. Super windy today but I got my new rain tarp up. June 25th gave all the plants pretty good snip except for Cinderella number 2 which is still slow but coming along tomorrow I may top all the other little branches not quite sure yet. just fucked up my pH metre by hitting the calibration button by accident and now I have no solution to recalibrate it so I'm going to have to wait and kind of wing it until the new one gets here in a couple of weeks but my pH in my house water is around 7- 7.5 12 ml of vinegar in 12 qts should be the ticket. Friday June 26th well I found a way to use clothes pins to use them as wait to hold the branches down I kind of like it tell me what you think. well looks like everything is coming along okay I keep the newts down I rather have them a little too lower than too high. well this is the last day of week 8 in July 1st and everything seemed to be going along fine but it looks like my Cinderella 99 run into a bit of a deficiency on the nitrogen and somebody let me know if this is right or not and if there's somebody in Toronto who can test the tap water for pH levels and let me know my pH metre is broken right now

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! 😁 there are videos above with before and after of my LST process. Thanks for checking out my diary 🍃 ✌️

Weekly update on these absolutely gorgeous girls. I was gone for the beginning of the week and came back today and I swear the flowers have doubled in size. They're smelling super strong and gassy. The flowers are dense as rocks so I hope with the summer heats they'll stay that way and not become airy. All in all Happy Growing.

Hello Growers and Tokers! You ready to sail off into green space in search for some cosmic snacks? This run we'll be taking a look at the Miracle Alien Cookies (MAC) from PEV Seeds. The search is starting off a bit rocky only one of the seeds sprouted so let's make the most of it! Strain description from breeder: Miracle Alien Cookies looks like a cannabis plant coming from another world. It is the paradigm of modern cannabis breeding, a variety that represents everything we want to find in our weed: power, flavor, production, speed and a number of extraterrestrial trichomes. It arose from the combination of an Alien Cookies F2 with the cross between a Colombian and the great Starfighter. In its ancestors we can find the mythical Alien Technology twice, as it is part of both the Alien Cookies and the Starfighter. Its flowering time indoors and outdoors can be considered standard. Indoors usually blooms and matures in about 9 weeks, being able to advance or delay the harvest depending on your preferences regarding the effect. The aroma reminds you of the orange sweets, as it mixes a base of cookie dough with a deep orange background that feels like eating rather than burning. Its taste is citric and sweet, with earthy touches that beg you for more and more… This is the typical effect of balanced hybrids, but raised to its maximum expression. Even if you have a high tolerance to cannabis, you may find it too potent. It rises like a pure sativa, speeding up your heartbeat and thoughts, but the high comes with a significant body charge, so it keeps you awake but relaxed. Genetic Background: MAC S1 (Alien Cookies x (Colombian x Starfighter)) Type: Feminized Sativa 50% Indica 50% THC: 25% CBD: 0.8% CBG: 0,01% Yield Indoor : 500 - 600 gr/m2 Height Indoor: 120 - 140 cm Height Outdoor: 180 - 230 cm Flowering time: 9 - 10 weeks Harvest Month: Mid October Expectations and training method: Expecting nothing but greatness from this strain. I’ve had the chance to smoke this strain before so I know what the final result should be like, let’s hope she comes out proper. Plan to top and LST, widen her out and try to yield a bit more than I’m expecting which is roughly 40 grams. I’m thinking she’ll be a bit picky with the feeding and training so I’ll try to take it easy so she doesn’t stress out on me.. Day 95 GDP harvested and starting dry process. Day 95 for the Tropicana cookies purple auto and northern thunderfuck auto. Both looking great. Tropicana really starting to reek the whole tent out sweet funky arouma. Looks light it’s starting to fade out nitrogen as well 🤞 Northern is stacking up buds hopefully will continue fattening for a couple more weeks. Soil all the flower tents look very alive and healthy. Lots of wigglers thriving under the mulch layer.

As you can see, LST works well, Gorilla Strawberry tolerates LST very well, in almost all plants I managed to keep the branches at the same height I made a minor defoliation of large leaves. The rest I slide under the twigs every day so that they do not make a shadow. Due to a high wind that lasted 2 days and LST one of my Gorilla Strawberry broke in half and holds on about 20% of the stem. I was thinking about trying the method HST and I will remove the cracked part of the plant, but I did not have the heart to cut it off, so I decided to use the patch that I carry with me in the first aid kit if I cut myself. From two twigs and a patch I made a primitive splint. The next day I took an insulating tape with me into the forest and once again wrapped the splint for better strength. And as you can see, the plant lives and thrives :) Next, I want to show you the pest Leaf Minner, which makes tunnels in the leaves and then pupates on the underside of the leaf I tear off the leaf or crush the pest Next, I would like to show you a very useful beetle, a ladybug that eats, for example, aphids, in the photo you see a pupated ladybug larva, do not kill it !!!

Almost ready for harvest! Watching the trichome production and keeping an eye out for cloudiness. Leaves are turning yellowish as the plants suck all the nutrients out to get nice a plump. Trimmed all the fan leaves off to prep for harvest. Switched to flushing, keeping the water between 5.8 and 6.2 pH and switched how we water slightly to make it easier. Will start harvest next week! I also recently went through all the weeks on the grow diary and redid and added a lot of pictures if you want to go back and take a look!

Sorry for the slow upload this week, it has been a heavy rainny week and humidity was off the charts. Had to get a big dehumid to balance it all out. Send round of defoliation, didn't take too much off but this will help with the humidity balance. Did a little Srog netting just for the top buds not to hit the lights too much and burn.

The plants have continued to grow very fast this week, easily doubling in size again. I moved them closer to the light to 80 cm from 90cm. Watering as needed and I am keeping the soil surface moist with light watering twice a day. I fed some Biobizz Biogrow and some organic teas this week. Low stress training was very effective and the plant responded well except one which stated quite short. I will see if it bounces back or it may be stunted.
