Hello Fellow Growers, Sorry to be posting week 8 during week 9 but it is what it is. All these pics and the video were shot on Saturday the 6th, the last day of week 8. They have actually recovered fairly well once they got a good feeding. No dought I lost some critical grow time. But from where they were heading to where they are today, was a pretty big rebound. If you watch the video (3 minutes), I explain the error of my ways. But I did learn something. The shorter, bushier of the 2 is finishing fast. You can see the amber in some of the Thricomes. The taller is several days to a week behind. The Trichomes are pretty much all milky and I don't want this one to go quite as far. From here out is it flush time. Should have some hanging plants to show by Saturday. Best to all!! So Week 9 is going to be harvest week. A bit earlier than it should be but I am sure I caused them to speed up since they were stressed, to say the least. The buds are really sticky, smell great and pretty strong now and especially in the taller plant the buds have taken on the Zkittle colors.

Cali crasher is doing great under the Hortibloom Solux 350. She had a solution change today. She is about mid bulking now. She should be ready for harvest in about 3 weeks. Since topping her last week she has become really bushy and is loving her grow sack at the minute will be flipping to 12-12 at the end of this week. Loads of new bud sites growing up to the net so excited to see how she flowers!

They smell great. Not a hard grow, but not stabilized genetics. 4 different phenos all with differing flowering times. Make it tough when you use your grow tent as a dry tent to contain smell. Had to buy another tent just to dry the ones that were finished instead of risking them herming. 5.8 oz dried and trimmed bud. Didn't weigh larf/trimmings but will be dry sifting it for the press.

Its done! Even though I expected a higher yield, I'm happy with my first harvest. It could have gone worse. Got 61 grams of the biggest plant, it took eternities, but the yield is pretty decent for a first grow. Thanks WSE! Next up will be Strawberry kush and Harlequin.

Day 59: There is little left to my first harvest in 2019. As buds continue to swell and resin starts to see some orange pistil. I think that in order to complete the cycle of these six Gorillas, there are only a couple of weeks to get to the standard eleven weeks. The smell of the resin is very strong and I have to ventilate the room several times during the day. Given the approach of the first harvest I put some other seeds in the soil. 😄 P.S. I chose one of the predominantly indica plants for the first taste. This plant has received only water for the last five days instead of the usual 10/12 and although I would have to wait another 10/15 days before it is completely dry, this Saturday I will break some buds smaller and I will smoke it 😋 Once the first plant has dried, and the crop is tasted, I will add more data such as flavor and real definitive weight. For the remaining five plants I will follow all my standards without breaking basic rules and I will make a progressive crop. March 10, Day 69: Final taste and effect ratio for the first plant. The exact weight of dried buds, excluding the wads, sugar leaves and small branches is 58 grams. The aftertaste is fresh and sweet and smoking a lot at the end the limonene prevails. For a final consideration on the edible taste I will have to wait to have made some butter to make biscuits or brownies. As I wrote the effect is very strong, salt immediately and at the beginning seems energizing, but shortly after passing the joint hits you with a baseball bat to the back of the neck 😵 After the fifth joint you are now on a psychedelic journey and you will continue to laugh for hours. At the moment I do not have a THC analyzer (object I want to buy in the future) but based on my personal experience I think it is well over 20%. Stimulates appetite, thirst (excellent if combined with a double malt blond beer) and can be used to effectively fight insomnia. 👊

It was probably the hottest week of the year with a maximum of 34° C, a lot of water had to be administered, especially the Frisian Dew in the pot. On the other hand, I continue to enjoy the good appearance of the plants, with no pests, caterpillars, aphids or similar to be found so far. Even the slugs are no longer interested in the leaves, there are now so many flowers in the garden that simply taste better. As the flowering that I have read about already begins with the pre-flowering, I can say that all the plants in this report are flowering. Only the Durban Poison is by far the fastest and is already producing buds and seeds. As I had used regular seed for the Durban Poison, I fertilised it with pollen from a remaining male Durban Poison. The seed pods are already visible and look promising. The Durban Poison flowers are purple in depth, at least in my phenotype, and it doesn't need as much water as Frisian Dew and Shaman. The Shaman and Frisian Dew in the garden are showing their best side and continue to grow diligently, they need much less water than the others, probably due to roots that reach deep down. Do Durban Poison, Frisian Dew and Shaman actually have tap roots? However, I would really like all the plants to start producing flower buds now, as it is already mid-August. Week 4 of the flowering phase has arrived, and last week flew by 🌬️🌱. The ladies are thriving, and the buds are now clearly visible! ✨ The flowers are starting to turn darker, which is an exciting sign 🍒. The first trichomes are already forming, hinting at a very potent strain 💎🔥. While the cherry aroma hasn’t come through yet, removing some leaves revealed an intense, waxy scent – very intriguing! 🌿👃 I’ll keep you updated with daily posts. Week 2 This week I put a humidifier in the tent for a few days. Without it the humidity is around 42-49%, with it it is around 55%. I don't know if this makes sense.. Maybe one of you has some advice for me, thanks in advance. I noticed that the leaves were slowly starting to curl up at the edges. I then did some research and hung the lamp higher, about 120cm above the leaf tips and reduced the power from 50% to 40%. I hope that I have solved the problem. So far I think the leaves of the plants look better. I watered every ~ two days - without draining - and since yesterday the water quantity has been 1.5L per plant divided into 3x0.5l watering units (water, wait 30min to 1h, water again, wait, etc.). I added 6ml of CalMag to 3 liters of osmosis water. I put the last Biobizz tab into the soil and filled the pot with some more soil. Hey all, Last week goes to end the the harvest time its near.. The bud grows verry good and build towers.. the smell its amazing and verry strong.. Today i start flushing and i think the plant needs 3-5 days to harvest… Iam verry happy and jiggly for the next days. Nice strain and constantly growing.. My first dwc grow works… irs an other think than aeroponic but iam happy. I never grow aeroponic again…
