This week was smooth. Setting up for greatness

Clones didnt like the strong light at first and needed some days to get used to it. Some even showed small signs of sunburn. Automatics seemed to be doing fine as they were grown from seed. Clones were put into small pots to encourage growing strong roots first.

First week of my first grow! The weeks leading to this were filled with hours of research from every source I could find. I still wake up and start reading or looking at diaries. I’m growing in a 4x4 tent in an insulated but not heated garage. I have a small heater in the tent connected to an Inkbird temp controller set to kick on at 70 degrees and turn off at 80. This sucks a lot of humidity from the tent. I have 2 humidifiers running to combat this and it stays around 45% RH on average; getting higher than that has proved quite the challenge. I’ve admired quite a few diaries on here and I hope everyone enjoys my rookie season.

This week went great sofar just had a little fright when i saw a gaint grasshopper completely chewed of a whole bud for no reason just bit the stem right off i removed it by hand because i dont want to use pesticides .... anyway im reveging some of the clones and keeping some to spray silver and make some seeds

Overall a giant disappointment, the Fast Flower FF was an Autoflower AF, Its put me off fast flowers and really whats one week when you grow indoors for an early harvest. Not something that's in my list of things I need. The smell of the plant is nice, basic weed scents, nice and sticky and full of crystals. Will see what happens in cure once it finishes drying. It made a weird nub of plant at the base of its stalk. have not seen that before, IDK what it was/means. No purple yet, maybe never. But still beautiful and smelling very good. Very good harvest coming. Buds getting fat. Given that the soil is organic with a wide variety of amendments I decided not to keep fertilizing with liquid fertilizer.

Half time in bloom. I made a video with and one without flash. This is always a bit misleading. I set Josefine a bit higher. I should have done this much earlier as she was already the smallest the whole time. I defoliated a tiny bit. Should be. A few leaves are turning yellow, but I think I watered a little too much, or gave too much fertilizer. However, it doesn't look alarming to me at the moment. They'll catch themselves again. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to the first week of April.

Pictures are day 23 above soil I dropped temp set point on INKBIRD ITC-308 to 23C and narrowed range to 1C high and 1C low. The humidity was getting too high before the 25-26C max temp point kicked in and exhaust would vent. Mositure build up at bottom of tent was main issue as temps outside the tent are -2 to -10C. So the air closest to tent walls rapidly cools and moisture condenses out. VPD..... cold climate growing. Shed growing.

Things are going well in this grow . The plants are growing a little slower then I would like them too but they are still alive and kicking and thats what I like too see . CheesyHeadband#2 seems to be doing some funny things she hasnt come out with her whole set of leaf yet makes me wounder if shes stunted of possibly dwarfed only time will tell tho ! Other then that no complaints coming from me this week things are going well and Im starting to look forward to these lady's growing up :) I'd like to thank everyone for stopping in and checking out the diary . Last week was very challenging, two girls got really tall below the white light, while the other two below the blurple spectrum ended up being smaller and bushier, both looking fantastic. Last week I also probably went too far defoliating the shaded smaller girl which stunned it a bit for a day or two but its flowering vigorously again. Although the unexpected stretch which led to uneven light coverage overally the platns are looking solid, smelly and sugary :)

The pound cake auto so far is an amazing plant. It has grown great and is super strong. Honestly it might be the strongest growing plant I have ever grown The weather is starting to warm up a bit it has been below freezing for over 30 days and now the snow is starting to melt finally it’s a lot easier to keep the humidity on point when it’s like 32 outside compared to 10
