This week I continued with LST and while I bend down my Kush on day 39, the stem bent over. I could fix it and within some days the plant repaired the injury quite well. At the end of the week I was surprised how good she handled this big stress. This is not the most beautiful of my plants but I love her like the other ones. 😍

Die Verluste waren jedoch sehr gering. Ich freue mich nun auf die Trocknung und das Curing. Der Rotrim und der Endtrim werden noch einige Stunden in Anspruch nehmen, das ist der Nachteil an großen Outdoor-Pflanzen.😀👌 --- The last week was very mixed. Fortunately, the last three days (a swansong to summer) were very sunny, warm and sufficiently windy so that the Shaman could be harvested dry. Like many trees, it showed the beginnings of autumn in the colours of Indian summer. There were a few very small patches of mould, caused by my incorrect defoliation. However, the losses were very small. I am now looking forward to drying and curing. The rotrim and final trim will take a few more hours, which is the downside of large outdoor plants. 😀👌

I do this a couple of times to even out the PPM and temperature. So, eventful week. Prior to putting my seeds into my system, my light and rdwc system was left on as I was dialling in the growing environment before placing the seeds as a final home. My only issue was I had a light leak BEFORE putting the foil top covers on the clay pebbles. Long story short, I got algae which ended up turning to root rot. I spotted it very swiftly and did a res change adding beneficial bacteria to the system along with the base products of remo nutrients. A few days later new growth and recovery is taking place. Day 16- Fully back on track, new roots shooting out into the water and the growth rate has picked up as it should. Foliar feeding twice a day for a little boost until the root system establishes a bit more. Huge changes in just a day. Can't wait to see what a week's growth looks like. Really loving the sunset/sunrise feature on the trolmaster, something I got to experience watching recently! Watching by closely to make sure everything stays in track. Stay tuned for the next one 😉

Die Blütenansätze schwellen weiterhin immens an. Insgesamt zeigt sich hier in diesem Grow eine stärkere Blütenausbildung, als bei der anderen Pflanze. Jetzt im direkt Vergleich muss ich sagen dass dieser Phenotyp eine richtig ordentliche Entwicklung hinlegt. Ein süsslich fruchtiges Aroma verbreitet sich im Zelt und hier schlägt definitiv mehr die GG#4 Genetik durch.. Es zeichnet sich ein durchgängis schönes und gesundes Wachstum ab. Die Pflanzen sind stark und sehnen sich nach Licht. Das Wetter ist sehr trüb. Viele Regenschauer. Die geringe Luftfeuchtigkeit versuche ich mit einem elektronischen Luftbefeuchter zu erhöhen (siehe 1 Video).

Y se lo noto, las pobres parece que quieren pero que no pueden. De todas maneras seguiremos hasta donde sea que lleguemos. Tnt complex 2 veces/semana a razón de 2.5 ml/l Powerzyme 1 vez a la semana, 2 ml/l Supervit 1 vez/semana, a razón de una gota cada 4 litros Lo estipulado por hesi pero no, me he vuelto a colar y les he doblado la dosis de tnt un dia, se me va la olla, estare pendiente de la reacción. Her flowers are continuing to bulk up and are covered in glistening trichomes. She appears to be starting to fade which is exactly what I'm hoping to see, meaning that she's just about used up the nutrients in her medium. I watered today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ turned her pot and shot a few pictures of her. And lastly, I have to address the 'elephant in the room'. Yes, it looks like she's got some seeds in her flowers. She's in my 4x8 with seven other ladies and, unbeknownst to me, my Do Si Dos #33 developed some male flowers that were EXTREMELY small and well hidden. As a result, she got fertilized. This happened so late into flower that I decided to go ahead and finish her out. My hopes are that I get some viable seeds which should be an interesting F1 cross between these two. 10/6- Today I watered her with 1.5g of her usual straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's just starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which, according to the breeder, will be here in around three weeks +/- but nothing is cut in stone so I'll let the trichomes determine when she's ready...ya never know, could be a lot sooner! 🤪 10/10- Well, Week Eight has come, gone and has been a trial once again of my patience with this 11-12 Week cultivar! She's so freaking frosty that I've wanted to chop her several times but, I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. I anticipate that she's not going to make the 77-84 days in flower 'suggested' by the breeder for best taste/yield and will probably go closer to the 9 weeks +/- which is the minimum recommended flowering period for this strain, but we'll have to see what her trichomes have to say! I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. Let's call it Fuego RSO.. 😎 you will need: 30g / 1 ounce trim or flowers, ground coarsely or blitzed 1 litre alcohol (better the expensive one which is food safe, butthen it would be nice to have a distiller to catch it.. so i take rubbing alcohol 99,9%) a cheap rice cooker, you need to be able to operate it with an open lid, and it needs to switch to keep warm function by itself! a USB cup heater a container for mixing the weed with the alcohol, made from ceramic or glass or something a stick for stirring a container to catch the green liquid (alcohol is magically dissolving many colors and other things so make sure you use the right materials here) a straining cloth, sieve, coffee filter etc to seperate the plant material from the green alcohol trichomes solution a scraper or spatula a heat proof glass to put on the USB heater for last finish a glass container or cyringe to store the finished oil some coconut oil and some small glass jars ° first you pour half of your alcohol over the flowers or trim and then stir for several minutes ° sieve the material, catch the green liquid ° put the material back into the bowl and mix with the other half of the alcohol, repeat ° put the minimum demanded amount of liquid in the rice cooker and switch on, stay there!!! keep the lid a bit open, this is really prone to catch fire now. i do it in the garden when it's windy..
