Last week of veg for these ladies. Did some major defoliation. They are so close to being full and tall enough to switch to flowering.

Started the week off well from the big defoliations and adjustings yesterday. Upped the feed amounts per litre but still diluting them down a bit and in the case of the Cookies just feeding plain water for 2 of every 3 days. This carried on all week with buds and smell starting to build very nicely indeed!

ritical Purple Kush was harvested on day 65 of flowering. This plant was a joy to grow, with no major issues throughout the cycle. The buds are dense, beautifully colored, and carry a delightful sweet, earthy aroma with citrus undertones. Can't wait to see how it cures—it promises to be an exceptional smoke!

12/28 - Day 43 / Day 15 Flower - Feed Day Pots were mostly dry on this day. It has been about a week since I last fed them. I've only had two small waterings since last feed, about a half gallon of water for each of my 5 gallons and about 8oz of water for my bonsais. My plants are drying out within about 48 hours of each small watering. For today's feeding I decided to pull Grow Big out of the solution and focus exclusively on bloom nutes. My solution consisted of: - 1 gallon distilled water - 4ml CalMag - 2 tsp of FF Big Bloom (2/3 dose) - 1 tsp of FF Tiger Bloom (1/2 dose) - pH: 6.7 - TDS: 582 - EC: 1.2 The pH of my solution was down around 5.3 when first mixed so I pH'd up with baking soda to get to a final pH of 6.7. I gave each of my 5 gallons about a half gallon of the fertigated water each which wasn't enough to produce runoff. I gave them each about another 1/4 gallon distilled water to generate enough runoff to test. I tested the runoff of my Z52 which gave me readings of: - pH: 6.4 -TDS: 1620 -EC: 3.3 I gave about 12oz of fertigated water to each of my bonsais. My ZB2 runoff posted readings of: - pH: 6.8 - TDS: 718 - EC: 1.5 **************************************************** 12/30 - Day 45 / Day 17 Flower Pots were close to dry so gave each of the girls a light watering. Gave about 1/4 gallon of de-chlorinated, pH'd water to each of the 5 gallons and 6oz to the bonsais. Everything looking good aside from the fact that my girls are getting too tall for my tent. I've ratcheted my lights up as far as they'll go but the tops are now starting to get within 12". May need to take action to lower the canopy. **************************************************** 1/1 - Day 47 / Day 19 Flower Happy New Year! Pots were getting pretty dry again so provided another light watering with no nutes. **************************************************** 1/2 - Day 48 / Day 20 Flower I am officially concerned with the the distance between the tops and my lights. After reading a few forums to see what other growers have done in my situation, the consensus feedback is to do some supercropping. I ended up supercropping both of the main stems on my 5 gallon pots. I counted three nodes from the top, massaged the stem a little bit where I planned to bend and and then bent each branch to almost 90 degrees. Luckily, the stems didn't snap or show any signs of breakage. Had to remove the shelf in what should be a second compartment of my tent and attempted to do a little LST to widen my plants and lower their canopy.

Keeping natural form. Blackberry gum is huge as I heard from others. Did some heavy defoliation.. first time ever so it's an experiment. Flooded my tent with no tray... Needed to redo connections on the tubing... Then flooded with a new tray, needed to secure the AQUAVALVES on one autopot base.... Looking good. Still running 24 hrs... Rock and roll 🤘

She’s finally on the rack , absolutely chuffed with the finished product here. Great yield , sticky , chunky, sweet and tarps for days . The misso reckons it’s her fave tasting strain ever , fruity , sweet and a lingering paradise on the palette on exhale . Really really nice .

04/13/25: The plants have now fully adjusted to their new environment, and all five are looking vibrant and happy. Leaf posture is strong, color is rich, and the canopy is filling in nicely. They’re handling the training and topping well, showing no signs of stress, and overall growth has remained consistent. While inspecting them before today’s round of training, I noticed what appear to be early signs of male pre-flowers on PP1 and PP4. It’s still too early to be certain, but it’s looking like I may already be down to three possible females. I’ll be keeping a close eye on them over the next week—things should become much more clear soon. Today I topped all five plants again—this time at the first node of each of the four main branches created from the last topping. This will help build out a broader, more evenly structured canopy. I also used plant ties to gently pull down each of the branches to open up light penetration across the plant. In addition to branch training, I used ties to lightly hold back some of the larger fan leaves on the lower two branches to help expose new growth sites. I’ll leave those fan leaves on for another 3 to 4 days as the new tops develop, then remove them to redirect energy upward and continue opening the structure. They were also watered today with a light nutrient mix, similar to last week’s. The plants still look very nutrient-rich, so there was no need to push the EC any higher just yet. Based on the current rate of uptake, I expect they’ll be ready for another watering in about 3 to 4 days. If anything noteworthy comes up—especially regarding sexing—I’ll update sooner. Otherwise, I’ll be back in a few days to document a light defoliation and any continued developments.

Both plants have appeared to stop growing in height settling in at 48Inches. First day of week 6, I will be adding content as the week progresses, have a look at week 5 as that is now complete. Status: Candy Kush #1 d36 - Looking awesome, some pistils showing. Was too bushy so did some LST and slight defoliation today with supercrop on 1 branch. Candy Kush #2 d36 - Looks like nitrogen deficiency is sorted, now I have excess? :D see the clawing tips? Gonna stick with the current feed, hopefully she'll overcome otherwise I'll flush her once if things get worse. Bubble Kush d32 - Amazing, nothing to report, some tucking done Fastberry d32 - Looking as weird as ever, some tucking done Sugar Mama d36 - growing and getting really bushy, shame about the mess I did with the roots/stem but she is doing ok now. ---- Fed 2nd day of weeks 6 (day 37), 3ml biogrow 2ml calmag. pH was at 6.5 Ec was at 1.5. New leaves are really yellow in candy Kush 2, iron deficiency? Outdoor temperature up 15C. Indoors, in grow room, 5C up on last week. Epic week of growth - lush, green canopy. Finally understand the bouncing PH issue. Weird that no-one talks about it for the beginners. Your DWC needs daily attention. In any 24hr period, the PH rises from 5.5 to 6.5, and must be brought down again with PH Down. Thus in any one day the roots span PH=5.5-6.5 and are capable of absorbing a range of nutrients, which are absorbed into the plant at various different PH levels. Currently feeding 13l pot with 5-10ml of Ionic Hydro Bloom daily (EC=1050-1150), 5-10ml of Liquid Oxygen daily, 1l of water daily. On Sundays, they also get 15ml of Liquid Silicon. PH adjusted daily. No sign of buds developing yet.
