As if spring had sprung, the signs of wonderful bounty in the form of early flowers . I was unsure if to start bloom nutes or wait until next week , but as it’s so often the case if you look and listen , they speak . 1/5 - Day 51 / Day 23 flower - Feeding Day Pots were mostly dry on this day, last time they were fed was a little over a week ago on day 43 (12/28). I've done two small waterings since last feed, about a half gallon of water for each of my 5 gallons and about 8oz of water for my bonsais. My plants are drying out within about 48 hours of each small watering. For today's feeding I went to full strength on my nutes. My solution consisted of: - 1 gallon distilled water - 3ml CalMag - 3 tsp of FF Big Bloom (full dose)) - 2 tsp of FF Tiger Bloom (full dose) - pH: 6.9 - TDS: 342ppm - EC: .7 I gave each of my 5 gallons about a half gallon of the fertigated water each which wasn't enough to produce runoff. I gave them each about another 1/4 gallon distilled water to generate enough runoff to test. I tested the runoff of my Z52 which gave me readings of: - pH: 6.3 -TDS: 1600ppm -EC: 3.2 I gave about 12oz of fertigated water to each of my bonsais. My ZB2 runoff posted readings of: - pH: 7.2 - TDS: 594ppm - EC: 1.2 My TDS readings are definitely low compared to the FF Soil Feeding Schedule. The suggested readings for week 7 are an EC of 2.8 - 3.0 and 1960-2100ppm. Not stressing too much over the reading as the girls are looking healthy and happy. Will add another feeding in between waterings if I start to see any nutrient deficiencies but I don't see any cause to do so at the moment. As you can see from the picture on 1/3, the super cropping I did on 1/2 didn't hurt my girls one bit. By the following day, the tops were already bending back toward the lights. This was a big relief. **************************************************** 1/7 - Day 53 / Day 25 Flower Light watering in the morning today using pH'd dechlorinated tap water w/ 4ml of cal mag. Gave about about a 1/4 gallon to each for my 5 gallons and another 8oz each for my bonsais. **************************************************** 1/8 - Day 54 / Day 26 Flower Noticing signs of nutrient issue on the Z51. Surprisingly, no signs of nutrient issues on the Z52 despite using the same solution and roughly the same amount of water during the feeding day on 1/5. Decided to do a heavier watering tonight, using about 3/4 gallon of pH'd dechlorinated tap water. Hoping that dilutes the soil a little bit and pushes the salts toward the bottom. **************************************************** 1/9 - Day 55 / Day 27 Flower Nutrient issues did not appear to get any worse overnight so that is encouraging. Did some minor defoliation on my 5 gallons this morning to remove any of the smaller branches on the lower 3rd of the plant. Haven't completely removed any branches that are below the trellis. Will start pruning more regularly every other day so I don't shock the plants too much.

Week 14, day 99, the second week of flowering has started, and it shows on the plant. It looks like Cookies Gelato #1 has started flowering before #2 and #2 started before #3. Look at the photos from above, I cannot wait to see when flowers will be enormous and lots of them!! Of course there is no weed smell yet but the plants have a wonderful smell of mint and lime. I'm also still trying to LST the plants even if they are mature, just to get a bit more light. Approximately two more months and I'll be ready to harvest, I think the yield will be terrific. The Pure Ice Cream clone is growing well. Nothing special has been happening. She is waiting on another plant to finish so she can go to flowering. It will be about 3 or 4 weeks from now. Everything is going smooth. Day 36 - Checked PPM 400. Plant is wide and bushy. Day 37 - Plant is 28 inches tall and 10 inches from the light. Day 38 - Plant is 29 inches tall. Root system is almost maxed out for 5 gallon bucket. Checked PPM 700. Built a new light stand/grow area. Now bigger then 4 by 4 foot area. Day 39 - Started a new bucket of water and nutes. Added 20 mL of CalMag Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 10 mL of each additive. I didnt add the rooting additives Tarantula Piranha and Voodoo Juice. PPM is 1,600. Plant is 32 inches tall. Different looking growth forming. Day 42 - Checked PPM 1,520. Added RO water. PPM is 640. Added 10 mL of CalMag Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 5 mL of each additive. PPM is 1,300. Plant is 34 inches tall. Noticeable bud development started.

The nuggets are very sticky and compact, they are frosty as hell and the aroma is very strong already. I loved this strain. She's such an amazing autoflowering strain. Very powerful.

Smoke is still present here in colorado! Blocking some sun later in the day definitely in the atmosphere you can smell it. Not sure how bad its affevting the babies! They look and smell great really starting to get a candied chem smell 🙏 going to pluck next week for light penetration Also biogrow was expired swapped for fishmix! Seemed to handle okay so far

Update on the second grow: the plants are looking very healthy and seem to be growing much faster than the first batch. 🌿 I feel like we've already done a lot better with these plants compared to the first grow. What do you all think? Any thoughts or suggestions? Day 26 (Second Grow): Hey everyone! Exciting news: the plants in our second grow have names now too! 🌿 This will make it easier to identify and keep track of each one, especially if they get moved around. It should also help you all follow along more easily with the pictures we post. We've built a SCROG (Screen of Green) net for the plants in both grows. For those who don’t know, a SCROG net helps to train the plants to grow horizontally, which maximizes light exposure to all parts of the plant and promotes more even growth. We're using it to ensure all plants get plenty of light and develop a uniform canopy. Additionally, we've placed a hygrometer among the plants to measure the humidity between the leaves. We've noticed that the humidity sometimes exceeds 70% in those areas. We're considering whether we need more fans, an intake ventilation system, or if a dehumidifier would be a better option. We're leaning towards adding more fans to improve air circulation, but we'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions! Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to watch both grows progress!

Hey everyone 🤗. This week they both continued to develop very well. Flowering day 42 Today the tent was cleaned, the humidifier refilled and the plants sprayed with Canna Cure :-). Flowering day 43 The plant was watered today with 1.2 L 🙂. They were also checked for their health and pests 👍. Everything looks great 🙏🏻. Flowering day 44 Again the tent was cleaned and fresh osmosis water was filled into canisters. Flowering day 45 Today 1.5 l per pot was poured so that some drainage comes out again. therefor two days are not poured 😋. Flowering day 46 The tent was cleaned, the humidifier was filled, the plant was checked for vitality and the entire electronics were checked for functionality. Flowering day 47 Today she was sprayed again with Canna Cure and checked. Flowering day 48 We got to the last day of this week and 1.2 L were poured again and the tent was cleaned 👍. In 2 Tagen werde ich ernten! 😎 Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit die grow, es war mein erster Versuch eine Automatic toppen, scroggen und zu biegen. Die Northern Lights ist eine robuste Pflanze die bei optimalen Bedingungen sich gut von solchen Eingriffen erholt. Sie ist den letzten Tagen sehr gelb geworden, braucht nur noch alle 3 Tage Wasser. Der Geruch ist mild süß aromatisch.

Wrapping up week 10 flower. Her buds are ripening up nicely. Looking really yummy overall. Subconsciously I have been worried she wasn't going to finish up before I go on my Disney trip! I was overfeeding & cooked a lot of the supporting leaves. Mostly on the main top but in a few other areas as well. So she had RO water only for 3 days this week. I also switched from feeding Big Bud coco to feeding Overdrive. She's responded well. You think i'd know by now that you can't rush the process!!! 🙃 Live & Learn
