Im here for the longrun as this is my medicine hopefully one day I can get off all my medications and just use high doses of thc/cbd/terpens the lot. Feel blessed I atleast have medical cannabis but it costs a fortune for the amount Id need 😰

🌱 Week 3, Day 7 Update: Buds Are Blooming! 🌿 Hey Grow Fam, We're cruising through Week 3, and my girl is really coming on—buds are starting to form, and it's a sight to behold! The girl is growing so fast now, drinking 4.5L a day. She could even do with in-between waterings, in my opinion. She's aiming for the stars and shooting for the moon, getting bigger every day and stinking out my room. I had to tie my light higher up with some rope as it wouldn't go any higher, and shoots were getting way too close! I did SCROG when flipping, and I should've been a bit more strict on it (did it longer), but now I realize why SCROG is used. Imagine if I never used it—she would be way too tall. Overall, I'm so happy with how she is growing and can't wait to see the final product. :) But, as with any journey, we've hit a little bump in the road. Despite keeping our feeding consistent at 850ppm, the runoff readings have been creeping up. Last check-in showed a runoff of 1400ppm. It's got me thinking we might be dealing with a salt buildup in the root zone. To address this, I'm sticking with our feeding routine at 800-850ppm. If the runoff ppm keeps climbing or if our plants start showing signs of nutrient burn, I will adjust accordingly, but as of right now, I'm sticking to the same feed as she looks great! ( If I do begin to notice signs of nutrient burn (excess), I will try to water with a lower EC/PPM, like 700ppms, to bring it down. But if I don't get the results I'm hoping for, I will just flush the plant with 3x the media size of water (just plain pH water) to wash out any old salts and reset the medium. You don't really want to do this with coco depending on what stage your at in flower, veg on the other hand flush.? Sure!, if you really need to reset that medium go for it, (i do see tiny signs of burn but thats fine if it gets worse then i have a problem) Let's stay focused and keep our eyes on the prize—beautiful healthy buds. Gold Sativa has been growing good. Been focused on root pruning the last week. Something I should of been doing from the beginning. I increased her nutrition slightly. Likely 2 weeks till I change light schedule. Depending on how fast the roots recover. I am in no hurry really. Hi Growmies~! What This Post is About Today, I'll be recording how to cultivate soil microbes at home. These microbes offer numerous benefits, and they are simple to make. How I Came Up with This Technique Since 2014, I’ve tried synthetic growing methods like DWC. While they gave quick results, I often ran into issues with consistency. Nutrients would expire during breaks, meaning I had to keep buying new bottles. I strongly felt I needed a change. A couple of years ago, after taking a break, I started to research and switched to organic growing. At first, it felt overwhelming with all the steps and prep work, but I saw real potential. After experimenting with different methods, I came across Korean Natural Farming (KNF) and JADAM, introduced by Mr. Cho. His simple, ultra low-cost techniques inspired me. They focus on letting nature do the work. While growing, I noticed that synthetic nutrient bottles were expensive, especially when trying to complete a full nutrient set. Organic growing may require more attention and can be costly when investing in organic materials. Preparing the soil in advance and top dressing with dry nutrients every other week - just these two methods were consuming space, time, and money. Indoor farming is unnatural, while organic farming is a natural approach. I had to bring these ideas together, but organic farming often seems geared toward large plots like farms. Incorporating organic techniques into my indoor garden requires a lot of effort and careful calculations. So this is one of my techniques for keeping my plants happy: supporting their daily needs helps them snap out of deficiencies quickly, allowing them to grow consistently. It took me a while to adapt this technique for indoor use. I hope this helps, guys! Supplies Needed - Potatoes: Provide nutrients and food for the microbes. - Sea Salt: Stimulates microbial activity and controls harmful organisms. - Dechlorinated Water: Allows the microbes to grow and multiply. - Compost, leaf mold, or worm castings: Contains natural microorganisms that are key for this process. How to Make (1 gallon) 1 cooked potato (about 2 golf ball-sized) 1 pinch of sea salt 2 tablespoons compost or worm castings 1 gallon dechlorinated water 1. Mix Ingredients: In a clean container, fill it with the dechlorinated water, dissolve the sea salt, and add the compost along with the mashed potato. 2. Ferment: Optionally cover the container and let it sit at room temperature for 24-48 hours. 3. Strain (Optional): After fermentation, you can strain the solution if you prefer a clearer liquid. Note: Watch the timelapse video to see how the microbes activate! **WARNING** Wear gloves if possible and/or avoid contact with open wounds How to Use IMPORTANT: Always dilute the solution before applying it to plants. - Use when bubbles form a "pizza shape" on the surface. - Dilute 5-10 ml per liter of water for bi-weekly feeding. (Test a small batch first to find the best rate for your setup.) - Once the bubbles disappear, the microbes are likely inactive. You can either mix the rest with water as fertilizer or discard it. Pros Promotes Plant Growth - Usually fixes deficiencies in as little as 6 to 72 hours. - Improves nutrient absorption, and helps plants thrive. Boosts Plant Immunity - Works as IPM: Can be used as foliar sprays (no staining on leaves). - Lowers the risk of powdery mildew and other diseases. - Helps the soil ecosystem with beneficial organisms like predatory mites and springtails. - Naturally reduces pest pressure (Less risk of fungus gnats and other pests). Improves Soil Health & Supports Composting - Quickly breaks down organic matter and nutrients. - Makes growing organically in small containers, like 1-gallon pots, easy. - Over time, soil becomes softer and richer, even in small pots. Cost-Effective, Sustainable & Eco-Friendly - No need for complex equipment like pH pens, air pumps, or other tools. - Reduces the need for CalMag, N-P-K, or micronutrient supplements (just add a little bit of sea salt to every watering). - No sugar sources needed in the soil. - Works for all types of plants—houseplants, exotics, ornamentals, and crops. Cons - Limited shelf life; the solution will develop an unpleasant odor after a certain period. 1 Corinthians 10:26

- Heavy defoliation to canopy twice this week, got rid of all large fan leaves to send energy to buds - Light defoliation every other day Plants are profiled nicely, many buds throughout now. Some of the hairs on the Lemon Ice buds are starting to turn orange. Adding the dehumidifier and extra 6" fan seems to have solved the humidity issue. Plants drank a lot of water this week, I will monitor more closely next week and add some water throughout to help keep pH balanced. The stem I folded over last week seems to have recovered fine and is now laying horizontal across trellis, accidental super cropping.

Day 71 09/09/24 Monday Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag. Day 72 10/09/24 Tuesday Nothing, just monitoring mould. Day 73 11/09/24 Wednesday (END OF QUARANTINE) De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today. Now I have put them to finish underground a 600w hps under 12/12 schedule with the Divine Black opium. Luckily no more mould has spread, and all plants look happy healthy and still developing. 16.01. – Blüte Woche 9 komplett Wir sind jetzt im absoluten Endspurt angekommen. Heute sind exakt 9 Wochen Blüte um und man merkt ganz deutlich: die Pflanzen sind im finalen Reifeprozess angekommen. Die Buds sind fertig aufgebaut, schön kompakt und komplett mit einer dicken Schicht Harz überzogen – richtig frostig und reif. Es wurde ein letztes Mal gegossen, und ab jetzt wird das Gießen komplett eingestellt. In der letzten Woche hat sie außerdem bereits kein Wasser mehr bekommen, damit sie langsam in den Finish-Modus kommt und sich nochmal richtig ausreifen kann. Beim Trichome-Check zeigt sich ein richtig schönes Bild: Die Trichome sind überwiegend milchig und es sind bereits ca. 20% bernsteinfarbene dabei. Damit ist das Erntefenster definitiv erreicht – die Potenz ist voll da und die Reife entwickelt sich jetzt genau in die Richtung, die ich haben möchte. Ab heute stelle ich die Pflanze für 48 Stunden komplett dunkel, um ihr nochmal die letzte Ruhe vor dem Finale zu geben. Danach geht es in Richtung Ernte. Fazit: Woche 9 war die perfekte Finish-Woche – jetzt heißt es nur noch Endreife, Dunkelphase und dann ist es soweit. ✂️🔥

Fantastic week. Lots has changed. Plants are stacking something fierce! I cut out the nitrogen completely this week, qnd that's how it will stay for the duration of the rest of the grow. I have found with autos, i have had the best luck when I push them hard with nitrogen up until this stage in growth. I then cut out the nitrogen completely and up the bloom nutes quite dramatically. For the rest of the grow I will feed every watering. Water at a 6.4 ph. Gro- 0ml per gal Micro- 10ml per gal Bloom- 15ml per gal Bug bud- 5ml per gal Very much looking forward to watching this batch swell!! 4 of these beauty's and they are looking phenomenal!! Not gonna be monsters plants, but look to be heavy colas!

We have gone a little lighter in coloring again but I am adjusting lighting a little more on her and defoliating a little but so she can use her energy in places she needs too.

28th week for critical the critical was very resistant, very strong but had like 50 seeds maybe for stress or defected seed

This cycle was all along a great pleasure. The plants developed MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED, the result under the Q6W-Gen. 2 LED lamps from SANlight is FANTASTIC. I have NEVER harvested more from plants of the same strain under HPS and the quality of the bud (trichomes, taste aroma) is MUCH BETTER when grown under LED, my decision is definitely made, I will continue to solemnly grow with LED-lights in the future. I harvested 2250 gram of Shiva Skunk and 3009 gram of Serious Kush, that a total amount of 5259 gram. In relation to the 3000 Watts (incl. dimmed part!) power of the LED-lights thats an AMAZING 1,753 gram per Watt.
