Hello Diary. Finished and the third week of flowering, Purple Punch has reached a height of 67 cm and I think it has reached its maximum. 👆 All three plants are now the same height which is great considering the position of the light. At the end of the week I did a defoliation, I cleaned the lower leaves and branches on both plants, but most of all I had to fix their roommate Watermelon whose leaves took on a yellowish color with brown spots. Although the treatment was the same for all three plants, these symptoms did not appear on Purple Punch. If the cause is over feeding, then the conclusion is that Purple Punch is a much more resistant plant. 💪 The flowers develop nicely, are full of already visible trichomes and begin to take on an increasingly intense scent. After all, everything can be seen in detail in the photos. At this stage of flowering I started doing photos on a black background, the photos are much nicer. All in all, I am pleased with how Purple Punch is progressing, both plants look healthy and satisfied. I added nutrients when watering to finally see which dose is optimal for them, but given Watermelon, it’s hard to judge when each strain reacts differently. For now, Purple Punch is not complaining. 👌 Here is a brief overview of the week. 04/03/2021 - Day 37. Watering. I regulated p.H. at 6.3 with Plagron’s Lemon Kick, and added one Easy Bloom Booster tablets to a total of 7 gallons of water. With that, I watered all three plants evenly. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.3 degrees and 41% humidity. 08/03/2021 - Day 41. Watering. p.H. I regulated to 6.2, I added 1ml / lit CalMg and BioBizz as scheduled for the third week of flowering. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25 degrees and 39% humidity. 09/03/2021 - Day 42. Defoliation and photography. I photographed the plants in the Box, to see the current condition and after that I did a defoliation. For the end, I took the final photos of the plant for the end of the 6th week. She is slowly changing colors. Pink and light green leaves cover the top. I am trying to lower the temperature but unfortunately that’s the lowest I can go.

Her grow was not particularly easy but with a little care and attention she will be a masterpiece, not a very strong eater, less is better when she's a baby and deffently as a clone, but once flower hit it was smooth sailing. 100% recommend an amazing overall plant 💯 and was such a pleasure to grow and smoke🌱🌳💨

French Macaron hit peak purple and trichs are all ready to roll. Chem Brulee smelling amazing and packing on weight. Pineapple Meatball remainders have now started going DEEP purple. Could end up with a few head stash nugs off of this late harvest.

1/24 Seeing balls I think :( - Welp - Confirmed they are balls, #2 has them also, not sure if LST caused to much stress or what. To much pride to just kill them all. I will continue this grow concealed in the 3x3. Honestly thought I was doing everything right. Going to leave them together, I got a auto water system to help keep tent closed more often. Doing this for the experience, will deep clean tent and all equipment after. I guess my goal now is to just finish her up, I'm 4 weeks through, going to try to use this bud for edibles, etc. This is for the people who had a hermie, wanted to continue growing it, but couldn't due to there conditions. Here ya go, this will be a fun run. If this isn't a good idea let me know LOL. 1/25 - (early morning) after a little researching and thinking, I think I'll just kill the hermies out. #2 had the same sacks. Going to keep a close eye on #3,#4, but so far they haven't sexed yet, ended up chopping #1, #2 for the better. Done buying cheap seeds, I have went through recommendations to find the best genetics and a more reputable breeder, very soon will start diary on that which I am very pumped for. With 2 of these out now, Planning on putting another strain in with them. I got a little unmotivated experiencing this, but figured rather fix it now then set my self back another 4 weeks. Hopefully we still have luck with #3, #4 will hope for the best! 1/30 - Since chopping #1, and #2 due to them becoming hermie, I definitely lost some motivation on this run. I still have been watering and adjusting canopy with trellis. They have definitely blown up since 1/25, and are giving me much more motivation moving forward. I gave them recharge today. I have started slight LST again but just bending the top cola so it won't grow higher then other colas. I have started another run with Brother Mendel Genetics, and will be starting another grow diary series on them. Look out for it. Im Stretch kommen nun die Sativa Gene stark zum Ausdruck und die Pflanze hat noch Mal einen starken Wachstumsschub hingelegt. Außerdem hat sie eine richtig schöne Weihnachtsbaum Form 😁 Dadurch, dass sich jetzt nur einzelne Blätter ausgebildet haben kann das Blütenbild nun wunderbar ausgeläuchtet werden. Oldschool Baby! 💚 Die Pflanze wurde nicht getoppt. Die Seittriebe beginnen nun in die Breite zu gehen und kommen allmählich gut hervor. Die unteren Triebe wurden rausgeschnitten, damit die Pflanze nun ihr Potential nach oben entfalten kann. Hey now, so this week went very well! The genetics from Sweet Seeds have been very strong...some of the biggest and greenest leaves I have ever seen, and they seem extremely resistant to everything! I am still feeding twice per day, with CalMag, and Maxigro, with an EC of 1.4 total. I am still using the Mars Hydro SP250 which has been amazing. I did raise the light on day 33 as I am trying to keep the light approximately 18-24 inches from the canopy. I must say these genetics from sweet seeds have been amazing! These ladies have been extremely happy, healthy, and green, no matter what conditions I have put them through! I am still feeding Veg Nutrients by GH, but I will be switching to Bloom Nutrients and adding a Bloom Blooster either this weekend or early next week. I will be starting out bloom nutrients at about 1.2 EC., and then gradually raising until I hit 1.8 Thanks for checking me out, and Blaze On!!!

Runoff PPMs have been running high between 822-2822 so I'm holding off on feeding for 2 waterings, otherwise I think I'm going good getting into the last month of flower.

Day 21: So we are currently in day 21, I finished all my work for my growroom. They where pushed into flowering 5 days ago. They always need to settle first before even turning into that stage. So my gues that in the end of the next week we will start to see the first indicators. I still gave them veg nutrients this week since they are still in growing stage. I did notice that many plants have weak stems and where sloppy underneeth. Didn't liked that, so in order to have thicker stems and branches I decided to top all the plants ( not showing in these picutues, i did that after making the pictures) Topping your plants will create stronger thick stems and branches! Also removed the first 1-2 internodes on each branch. I kept 5 or 7 branches each plant. I can't remember the ''science'' behind it but I have been told that many years ago by fellow OG Dutch growers and Family members. Anyway It is importend to have uneven branches. So 5, 7 or even 9 but never 6 or 8. Normaly I would have loved a huge main cola and it is known by many amnesia growers to not top the plants because they make beautifull thick main colas. On the other hand, when having this much plants on each m2, it will create weak stems and branches. I rather have strong plants with thick stems and branches to transport all nutrients properly and not breaking when having buds on them or having to mayor support them. The leafs, stems and branches look fine to me. No stress or deficiencies. 1/3 of them like to drink thought which is a good thing but it really enjoying. Now I have to weigh by lifting the pots which one needs more or less feedings lol. Instead of giving them all like 5 seconds of water. Might show you guys my feeding ''barrel'' next week. It is a 250L one. Untill next week.

Here’s the catch-up: Emergency Support Mission - Durban’s weight crisis: Side branches cracked under their own mass – one even split the main stem! - Field fix: Stabilized with 4 stakes + speaker wire (ugly but effective). - Lesson learned: Next run = heavy-duty support before stretch. Strain Check: Durban Poison (African Queen) - Growth style: Less height (expected 2m+), more lateral explosion – new shoots daily make her look like 3 plants in one. - Flower status: White pistils stacking at branch tips. - Smell: Still discreet (neighbor-safe… for now). - Health: Vibrant green – zero stress signs. Blueberry - Surprise stretch: Nearly hit 2m (like a sativa!). Half Durban’s width but elegant. - Stem power: Thicker trunk than Durban – mini-tree status. - Color preview: Purple stems emerging! Buds may follow suit (fingers crossed). - Support needed: Prepping for heavy buds to avoid branch snaps. Care & Environment - Feeding: Pure Bokashi juice (no extras) – they’re thriving on it. - Pests/mold: None spotted. Dry summer helping. - Weather: About 20° C and really high humidity.
