this week ended very nice. I am happy with the growth.

This plant was healthy and strong from the get go! She quickly grew in height surpassing all other plants around her. Left me scratching my head a bit considering she was only in a one gallon tester pot. She formed a main cola early on and fat buds on the end of each branch. She didn’t really have the classic cheese smell I love and remember, but it was still nice, more on the flowery side. BOHOLD…. The cheese smell has really started to shine through now that she’s been drying almost a week. It’s a deep cheesy/sour mix of funky goodness. Can’t understand where it’s come from as she smelt nothing like this while growing. She was harvested in day 79 and her buds where rock solid and covered in sticky goodness. Easy to grow, would recommend to anyone who has the space and time. Il do an update once she’s dried and had a few weeks curing. 🌱💚

Unfortunately, the plants have numerous leaves which look unhealthy (discolored, droopy, crispy/decayed). I removed the 3-4 worst looking leaves from each plant every other day, although I know that can be harmful to autos. Started adding in "Sensi Cal" this week to hopefully rebound from potential mineral deficiencies. Still using Recharge microbes once a week. Nutrients are now being administered accurately and at 1/4 the recommended level. Despite the unhealthy state of the plants, the pre-flowering bud sites look pretty good to me. I'm happy to see healthy looking pistils. Needless to say, I'm very eager to get these girls back on track and looking vibrant and verdant ASAP.

Responded nicely to topping & LST making her a much stronger girl. Developing a good structure with tight internode spaces she was a real plus in the garden. Sweet and earthy aromas are louder than the usual. Her flowers can stink up any space if not completely sealed up. Pleased with this "Fast" Bruce Banner's outcome. As are others who've been lucky enough to have tested her out already. Yet another great show from Canuk Seeds. Thanks to all the dudes and dude'etts who've kept up with this grow to harvest. Hello there and welcome to week 12, or the beginning of it anyway. Week 11 is now complete so please check that out! We start the week with 5l fertigation and some nice photos. Now that Bertha is gone the tent smells Karenish. See you tomorrow! Day 78: Added several more carnivorous plants to the budding collection. Enjoy! Day 79: Fertigated 5l. She's starting to mature now. Frost developing slower, buds fattening and ripening faster. Were maybe two weeks away here. Night 80: Added tent photo and vid. Day 81 update later today. Day 81: Added a lot of media. Got a cheap digital microscope to try and get better micro shots. As you can see Karen is nowhere near yet. Day 82: Things are moving very fast, just look at the difference today. I am certain were with 2 weeks of harvest. Does anyone have advice on flushing/not watering. Fertigated 5l. Day 83: At the current rate of maturation I think the end of next week maybe be harvest time. Height 51cm Day 84: Karens smell is really strong now it washes across your face when you open the tent. End of week summary: A full week of nothing but bud swelling and maturation. I still think she needs another 2 weeks. Unfortunately my living situation has rather abruptly changed and now I have a tough choice to make: harvest/destroy or move plants. There is a strong chance I will chop Karen at the end of next week if she is ready or not.

Dec. 11 - Week 10 begins with a fresh sachet of Cucumeris and lots of plain water. Dec. 15 - I have removed the majority of the crispy leaves. Watering is a slow process now, 5ml takes almost 5 minutes to absorb into the soil, and about 25ml before there is any runoff if the soil was allowed to dry at all, like when I sleep. During my waking hours I just give it 4-5ml here and there as I go about my day. There are a few trichomes showing up so she's still progressing, still growing. This is such a hearty cultivar, it's a shame Humboldt Seeds may be retiring it, but excited for what the'll introduce next. Dec. 17 - While applying the first bit of water today I noticed something moving on the can, often it's a droplet from spilling, but this was different so I looked closer. It was what I assume to be a fairly young thrip (3-5 days) being harassed by a couple cucumeris, something I presumed was happening, but never actually thought I'd witness. Unfortunately for the cucumeries I squished the bugs they were after.

Bienvenidos cultivadores de marihuana a la sexta semana de floración de esta cepa de dominancia sativa y actualmente "La Reina de mi jardín de la alegría"... God save the Queen!! 😍 Otra semana de fácil y satisfactorio cultivo, la planta a parado el crecimiento vegetativo y se esfuerza en la creación de flores, las mismas flores que aparecen a lo largo de todas las ramas y que avanzan una gran cosecha con largas y gruesas colas. Las marcas de carencia de Magnesio que aparecieron la semana pasada son historia después de la aplicación en superficie de Dolomita y sal de epsom y la recuperación, para riegos, del Ormus (Ca, Mg). Durante toda esta semana han habido niveles de humedad relativa muy bajos, alrededor del 30%, y temperaturas altas, he rociado varias veces, las plantas con agua para aumentar la humedad en los armarios, también he activado dos pequeños humificadores y sobre todo he mantenido las plantas muy hidratadas, afortunadamente ayer cambió el clima y ha comenzado a llover con bajada de temperaturas. Como hubo una aparición de arañas en otro cultivo rocié esta planta, también, con jabón potásico. El consumo de agua de este cultivo es muy alto, y en los días secos aumento todavía más, he mantenido y mantengo el sustrato muy hidratado para favorecer la circulación de líquidos, cuidando a la vez la salud de las raíces. Esta semana riegos alternos con nutrientes y otros con agua pura de manantial, preparando las raíces para aumentar las dosis de nutrientes conforme avance la floración. DECODIFICANDO EL CULTIVO 😛 - Día 93. Riego multicomponentes, con Microorganismos de Montaña Activados de forma líquida con minerales y nutrientes NPK al 2,6%, Humato potásico de leonardita que añade ácidos húmicos y fúlvicos, materia orgánica y extra de potasio al 1,5% y melaza para dar energía a los Microorganismos. PH: 6.40, EC: 1.70. 1000ml. - Día 95. Para ayudar a la disolución del riego anterior: Agua de manantial. PH: 6.7, EC: 0.50. 1000ml. - Día 97. Riego para fortalecer el cultivo. Después de 45 días de fermentación anaeróbica he abierto, lo que espero que sea un gran fertilizante para usar desde la etapa de crecimiento vegetativo hasta la preflora y primeras semanas de floración. La calabaza y la zanahoria contienen multitud de minerales y vitaminas que ayudan a fortalecer el cultivo y ayudan a la expansión de las raíces. Este preparado es comparable, funcionalmente, con los extractos de algas, aunque mucho más completo. Esta hortaliza es rica en antioxidantes. Destaca su contenido en carotenos, que son los responsables del color característico de la calabaza. ¿Será que esto puede influir en los colores de las cepas?... en observación!! Gracias a la fermentación anaeróbica con Microorganismos de Montaña, los nutrientes, vitaminas y minerales son quelados por la acción de los MM, consiguiendo así un caldo nutritivo de primer orden que las plantas asimilan de inmediato. Azúcares: sacarosa PROCEDIMIENTO En este bio preparado he hecho una pre-hidrólisis de la calabaza y zanahoria, cociéndolas durante una hora con melaza para mejorar luego, en la fermentación, la disolución de todos sus elementos. También he hecho una pre-hidrólisis con la cáscara de camarón, esta vez he hecho una hidrólisis alcalina con KOH, que luego de dos horas añado a la mezcla final y además una disolución en agua, con mucha agitación, de los minerales. Disuelvo todos los elementos y añado levadura de cerveza y fresca para dar comienzo a la fermentación. Coloco en una bolsa de malla los Microorganismos de Montaña Sólidos de mis dos semilleros, donde reúno los Microorganismos (Bacterias de la familia de los Actinomicetos, Levaduras y Hongos (Micorrizas), Microalgas y Protozoarios) de seis bosque vírgenes de mi zona. Cierro el bidón herméticamente con válvula de escape de gases, como estamos en Enero y hace frío he puesto una cinta de calor alrededor del bidón para mantener una temperatura constante de aproximadamente 36°C, de esta manera el preparado puede estar listo en tan sólo 30 días, si fuera el caso de dejarlo a temperatura ambiente el preparado demoraría 2 meses más en estar disponible para uso. La fermentación comenzó a los 60 minutos y se ha alargado durante 25 días sin interrupción. He abierto el bidón a los 45 días, el olor ha fermentado es muy agradable, el color fantástico, algunos Microorganismos se ven prosperando en la superficie, separo medio litro para ir usándolo y cierro el bidón otra vez. Tengo varios cultivos incipientes donde voy a aplicar este fertilizante y observar sus efectos. Sep 12: Purple Ghost Candy is still going strong. Another few weeks I would think, ideally. Other plants are getting bud rot so I’m doing going to call it a season soon. This is the ninth week of flowering so she’ll be ready soon. Final Flush uses citric acid to chelate nutrients and salts away from the plant roots. I started doing a chemical flush last year and it’s better - no risk of over-fertilized buds that don’t burn. After flushing (I used 9 L to flush about 27 L of soil) they say 7-10 days before harvest so this timing sounds good. Sep 13: did another 18 L flush as I figured 9 L yesterday wasn’t enough. Defoliated to expose ripening buds to more sunlight. Sep 16: looking really nice.
