Week 4 Veg Report - TrolMaster Chronicles 🌱 What a week it’s been in the garden! We finally transplanted the Papaya Zoap into its final Autopot, and let me tell you, this plant is something special. Though her roots weren’t quite where I wanted them to be yet, the move was needed to help her catch up with the rest of the crew. She’s already looking fantastic in her new home, and I have no doubt she’s about to explode with growth in the coming days. Sometimes, you just have to trust the process, and I’m feeling like this is one of those moments. It’s almost as if the room itself is taking on a life of its own. 🌿 In fact, I’m starting to believe that what we’re building here is something greater than ourselves—there’s this energy in the room, a feeling of everything coming together perfectly. I can’t wait to see how this journey unfolds! Dialing in the VPD with TrolMaster’s Tech Now, let’s talk VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) and how I’ve been keeping everything in check with the Tend-X and the incredible (DSH-2U) Humidity Station. VPD is crucial to plant health—it’s all about finding that perfect balance between humidity and temperature to optimize transpiration and nutrient uptake. The (DSH-2U) Humidity Station, connected directly to my humidifier, has been an absolute game-changer in this regard. Feeding the Girls: The Perfect Blend 🌱 We’ve upped the game by adding CaMg-Boost at 0.25 ml/L to the feeding schedule. Along with the 1 ml/L of the all-in-one liquid, this brings the TDS up to 320 ppm, with a pH of 5.99 and solution temperature of 24.8°C. In the soil, readings are around 415 ppm, with temperatures hovering around 25°C The plants are absolutely thriving, and I can already see the difference this new feed is making. I can’t help but have a bit of fun with this process—it feels like I’m spoiling them with the best of the best. And they’re rewarding me with beautiful growth and vibrant green color. Hab das Netz wieder entfernt 😆 natürlich behutsam Hab angefangen, nur noch Wasser zu gießen. 12 Liter mit EC bei 300, pH 6,5 In 10 Tagen sollte es in etwa soweit sein. 5/8 Watered both with plain PH'd water yesterday. Both of the plants are sucking up leaves. Trichomes are only really looking amber on the brown leaves, but otherwise milky. 5/10 Decided that these brown-leaved buds on Trainwreck were ready, so I tried a little bro-science and watered an hour before harvesting. Noticed there were some really nice green young buds intertwined, so I did my best to trim around to leave them for another week or so. No weight measurements yet, will wait till after trimming and before curing.

Week 8 Veg – Go Big or Go Home! 🌱💪 Hey, Grow Fam! 🌿 What an intense week it’s been in the grow room! This was one of those “go big or go home” moments, and I decided to take it to the extreme. I’m holding off on flipping to flower for just one more week because the plants are filling up the space beautifully—I can’t help but push things to their limits and see just how much these ladies can give! 😎✨ This week was all about maximizing growth and creating the best canopy I can. I did a light defoliation, just here and there to open things up a bit, and then came the bending—LOTS of bending. 🌱 I’m working hard to create an even canopy, though with all these different genetics, we’ll see how close I get! 🤞 Regardless, I’m giving it my all, and I’m super pumped to see how everything will respond in the next stage. The final touch this week? I ended it with a bold 36 hours of darkness to prepare for the big flip next week—flower mode, here we come! 🌸 What Went Down This Week: 1. Canopy Work – Bending and training all over the place to try and keep things even. It’s a real challenge with different genetics, but the payoff is going to be worth it! 2. Defoliation – Just a little bit of leaf removal here and there to help with airflow and light penetration, prepping them for that final veg stretch. 3. 36 Hours of Darkness – Closed out the week with a full day and a half of darkness. The 36 hours of darkness is a technique I like to use to help signal to the plants that it’s time to transition from veg to flower. 🌒 By giving them an extended dark period, I’m mimicking the natural shift from summer to fall, when daylight hours start to shorten. This kick-starts the plants’ flowering hormones (phytochrome), helping them shift into flower mode more smoothly and quickly. In my experience, this method helps speed up the flip, reduces early flowering stress, and often leads to a more uniform bloom across the canopy. It’s like giving the plants a little nudge to let them know, “Hey, it’s time to bloom!” 🌸 This technique is especially useful for growers like me who want to maximize the efficiency and performance of their plants. 😊 4. Flowering day 37 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The buds have developed incredibly nicely this week. The smell is getting more and more extreme :-) . The whole plant itself looks perfect 👍. The growth has slowly stopped as the full energy goes into the production of the buds. This week it was watered 3 times with 1.2 l each (nutrients see table above) They were individually inspected and checked for their health. Osmosis water for the coming week was refilled in a 100 l tank 👍. Buds are developing. A bit slower than I anticipated but they are developing. I guess it won't yield very much but that's because of the really bad outdoor conditions she started with. Still very excited to see her progression, I hope she keeps that dark green color. As you can see, the drip irrigation system arrived, which is good. Unfortunately that means that there will be no more Pet's&Pot pictures until harvest :( wish me luck!

The scrog was no good idea. Had to remove it today. Problems: unable to switch water properly and can‘t clean the tank during the process. So.. scrog is gone and the LST is back 😂

Day 63 today. I've now stopped feeding, so they are just getting plain water until they are ready to harvest.

Day 8 we have one girl looking like she won’t make it :( but other then that all is good Day 9 girls got a cup of veg nuts for the first time so far so good Day 10 girls are showing signs of burn to much to soon will back off of the nuts Day 11 girls got flushed with ph water today all looks good Day 12 growing so good Day 13 girls got a little water today

D21 - Start of week three of veg for the second girl, while it is only the start of week two for the first girl as I had to replant her. I will probably do the first topping on the second girl this week but I'll see in a few days where she's at. I gave both girls around one liter of water @ pH 5.9. A bit on the low side as I used too much pH down but it'll be fine for one watering. D24 - Yesterday I switched my light from the seedlings program to the veg program, and I'm now reading around 500-600 PPFD across the canopy. On the high end for sure, so let's see how the girls handle it. However, the daytime temp in the tent jumped up to around 30 degrees C after I switched the lights. #tinytentproblems I also added some support to #1 as she has a relatively thin stem but large leaves, so the oscillating fan keeps knocking her around. The second girl also initially had a slender stem, so I guess it is their genetics. (#1 is 12 cm tall and 15 cm wide, while #2 is 20 cm tall and 35 cm wide.) I will need to top the second girl this week as she grows a lot each day. I'm considering mainlining her but haven't made up my mind yet. I gave both girls around one liter of water @ pH 6.5. D25 - A couple of days ago, switching the lights to the veg program made the cover crop explode and turn into a jungle. I decided to trim down the red clover to increase the airflow around the girls and reduce water use. I watered the girls only yesterday, but they were already thirsty again, so I think that the clover was drinking quite a bit as well. After cutting back the clover, I gave each girl around 1.2-liters of water @ pH 6.5. D27- Today was the last day in week three of veg for the second girl and the last day in week two for the first girl. I really should have topped the second girl already, so that will need to be done as soon as possible. She is 26 cm tall and 38 cm wide, while the first girl is 13 cm tall and 27 cm wide. Yesterday, I removed the support from the first girl as her stem had gotten more robust, so it was no longer necessary. Today, I started brewing compost tea (worm castings, neem meal, kelp meal, biochar, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, and molasses) which I will leave overnight and feed to the girls tomorrow.

Over all Cosmo is doing well. Seemed a bit slow taking off but she is progressing nicely at this stage. Day 7: Cosmo showing second leaves coming in. Still slightly yellow, might be hungry or slightly over-watered. Will feed nutes in the next few days and see. Temp: 75º RH 75% PPFD: 300 VPD: .41 kPa Day 8: Just misting no water or nutes yet. Temp: 77º RH 55% PPFD: 500 VPD: .67 kPa Day 12: Cosmo looking a little top heavy, leaning to one side. Gave her a little prop up with a stick. Temp: 73º RH 62% PPFD: 500 VPD: .67 kPa Day 13: New leaf growth. Temp: 75º RH 60% PPFD: 500 VPD: .62 kPa Day 14: New leaf growth. Fed 4ml FloraMicro, 6ml FloraGro, 3ml FloraBloom and 2ml CalMag. Temp: 78º RH 61% PPFD: 500 VPD: .76 kPa

End of the fourth week of flowering. The stretch being finished and the buds starting to grow, I added a little PK 13/14 to the soup Shark. They are the most advancing in flowering. The buds start to form well, the plant although rather small develop buds that promise to be very interresting.

Day 1 of flo, description in OG Kush Diary, I'm really curious about this bush. I think I will taste great from what people told me it'd been really good for making some wax also, I like how I managed that canacopy I know I can do better but it's my first time trying this actually... I'm kinda beating myself up because I wanted a bit longer branching but next time I think I will try doing this with all 4 of my plants just because I like how it looks Day 3: sorry to see that beautiful bushy structure having to come off, I enjoyed looking at it but time to give those bigger buds some space and give the plant some energy to the top so I'm removing all unnecessary small little branching to increase the airflow etc.. I enjoy working on my plants. Day 4: flo so I managed to get rid of most of the bush and alot more of the plant has opened up, I removed mostly smaller branches and let the bigger ones stay just to see how I can further improve this In future and what to look for. I could watch all the videos I want but without a 1st hand experience it's always just a theory , there's always room for improvement every grow in my opinion. 8 Feburary Update: I flushed all 3 with some water and fed 10ml of each a and b + additives they responded very well soon on day 7 I'm planning to start giving them more bloom nutrients after flushing the medium just a little once more so I can really push it and make sure my ppm is high enough without too much salt buildup, for that I will be using cal mag water followed up by final dose of grow a + B with some big bud I'm trying to avoid that saltbuildup at all costs here as this is my first grow in 7 Years here in Germany 🇩🇪😁, btw the water quality here is so much better than in Ireland... I gotta be careful with pests alot living on the bottom floor, thing is a nightmare...
