More training. And patience for plants to reach the scrog before flipping

Buenas, hoy subo mi primera semana con las Juan Herer! Me siento muy emocionado, este es mi primer cultivo de exterior. El cultivo lo empiezo en interior y para fin de septiembre lo trasplanto afuera directamente en la tierra. A ambas plantas le puse un nombre particular, #1 Gina Herer, #2 Juana Herer.

Semana 7 julho - 13 julho 9 julho - feed day - bloombastic 0.5ml/l - causou uma ligeira queima de nutrientes aparentemente. 12 julho - feed day (2L)

Start week 5 , Bio Grow 2 ml/L + Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra 2 ml/L + Alg-A-Mic 2 ml/L + CarboLoad 2 ml/L + Bio-Heaven 2 ml/L + Bio-Bloom 1 ml/L ( Ph 6.5).

All round a very good plant to grow , one of them stretched but I lollypopped and topped it late into flower due to outgrowing my tent and she took it well, producing absolutely top quality buds covered in milky thricomes and glistening all over the nuggs. Absolutely frosted. The smell at this point was around 7.8 smelling strong of orange and citrus , the main cola nice and dense, with lots of other colas branching off. Easy strain to grow to this point although I did have a calcium deficiency but it was fairly rectified.

Decided this is the last week of veg. Growth is slowing, so im wondering if these "100% indicas" are maxing out given my setup (and some of them stunting). Stay alive and thrive! Introducing some bloom nutrients this week. Continuing to use recharge once a week. I've had trouble deciding all veg on how much FloraGro to add. The yellowing screams more to me but the best plants have curling fan leaves already. Definitely been tougher to keep healthy than my last 3 or 4 grows. Day 73- We had a power outage for most the day. That decided today will be the first day of flower. Switching to 12 hour light schedule. Day 74- Big defoliation day and watering. Day 75- they bounced right back even after their rough day yesterday Food schedule: feed every 2.5 days -flora trio nutes and calmag (2.5 days) -recharge (2.5 days) -normal pH water (2.5 days)

This lady is getting HUGEEEE. I see the sativa in her already. Shes starting to pre flower but I would say shes also still got a long ways to go. I'm super excited to have the experience to run this cultivar. This specific variety was special for me as I wanted a heavy sativa in an auto. I hope you guys enjoy this diary as much as I. Progress and Observations In week 6 of flowering, my plants are displaying significant development. The buds are swelling noticeably, and resin production is increasing, filling the grow area with a rich aroma. Weather Conditions and Plant Health Unfortunately, the weather in Germany has turned to consistent rain over the next five days, which is less than ideal for the final growth phase. To protect the plants, I've moved them into the greenhouse full-time. This controlled environment shields them from adverse weather conditions, ensuring stable conditions for continued growth. Pest Management I'm pleased to report minimal pest issues thus far. Nightly patrols continue to manage the snail population effectively, supported by lettuce leaf traps. There have been no signs of spider mites, aphids, or thrips, providing relief. With the ongoing rainy weather, I remain vigilant against potential snail problems. Low-Stress Training (LST) Update The plants I trained with LST have responded positively and continue to develop well. I did some more LST to maximize light to the colas. The canopy remains even, and the bud sites are receiving ample light, allowing for a slight upward stretch to maximize bud growth during these final weeks of flowering. I try not to cut off any fan leaves because I think they're here for a reason. I like to tug them behind the steam or the side branches. Only if the leaves show significant signs of illness or pest then I remove them. Looking Ahead As we move further into the flowering stage, my focus will be on maintaining optimal conditions to maximize bud development and resin production. I am also diligently monitoring the humidity levels in the greenhouse, as this is crucial for preventing mold growth. The plants are looking promising, and I’m excited to see how they progress in the coming weeks. Update 03.07 What is noticeable is that both untrained plants are entering the full flowering mode faster than the trained ones. Have you had similar experiences? Update 05.07 Today I checked the girls and found the Banana purple punch with the top leaves starting to curl down. After asking the community I found out that everything looks like a starting nitrogen toxicity. But only on that plant. Seems kind of strange that the others having no issues at all despite having the same amount of nutes. I decided to treat the symptoms a once so I flushed with 5l PH water. The first runoff was a little lower (5.5 / EC 1.09) but not really concerning. Afterwards I give the plant the half amount of the tripart flowering scheme (with added CalMag 2 ml/l PH 6.2). RESUMEN DE CULTIVO: Esta cepa es brutal, resiste muy bien las manipulaciones y genera cogollos grandes y prietos, también soporta una fertilización poco controlada y ligeramente excesiva. Perfecta para alguien con pocos conocimientos (este es mi primer cultivo) OLOR: No tiene un olor fuerte, una buena opción para quien necesita disimular el olor del cultivo. SABOR: Su perfil de terpenos es muy bueno pero suave, varia en funcion de la planta, algunas tenían un sabor ligero, especiado y tirando a lo picante pero una en particular si sacó matices de olor y sabor muy dulces y afurtados entre el mango y el platano realmente buenos, me encantaría tener una madre de ese ejemplar. EFECTOS: Tiene altos porcentajes de THC, a tumbado a más de un amigo, me parece una buena opción si buscas una variedad potente. LO MALO: Poco malo tengo que decir, aunque tampoco es tan sabrosa como me hubiera gustado. Seguiré buscando otras variedades pero seguro que repito.

Week 4 - these smell insane had a few issues with pest they seem to be all gone not sure what’s going on with my back plant same one I had issues with germinating now it seems stunted I will update next week good luck everyone !

week two flower everything looks healthy :D today i defoliated them i watered them with 1.5l every 48h the light i use was set to 80% and it hangs 80cm away from the tops

Flowers are developing nicely. These stretches more that I thought they would burn I’m happy because I’m not a fan of short bushy plants. Everything is healthy

Sixth week of flowering. It was only a matter of time before the first problem appeared. The flowers are so heavy that they started to bend. I had to immediately stretch the support net. It's a lesson for next time.
