~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2201 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/29- Here we go into Week One of Flower! It's been a month since this pretty lady popped out of the ground and she's looking perfect with pistils popping out everywhere! Her 4g Gronest fabric pot was still heavy when lifted, and she looked happy, so I skipped watering today and will check on her tomorrow morning after the lights come on. Since being topped roughly a week ago, she has two new shoots that are emerging and she continues looking extremely healthy with excellent vigor and have a beautiful healthy green color! She's up to 9" =/- now and even though she's beginning to flower, she's continuing to stretch which I'm attributing to her having some Sativa dominate genetics in her....This girl has long legs! 12/31- Today was a 'dry day and all I did was refill the humidifier and some canopy maintenance, tucking shade leaves and gently bending branches. It's been a little over four weeks since she was planted in her amended medium and it's time to give the microbes a good feed so they can continue to provide her with all the macro and micro nutrients she needs so, yesterday she got a good watering with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with GreenGro's Veg, Flower, Green Aminos, Natures Brix and Granular Myco added to it @ 1.5 tsp/g and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 73℉. 01/02- Yesterday I watered her from the bottom with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCann cal-mag to prevent any Cal-Mag issues before they arrive. I also have the HLG 650R set 36" above canopy and it's set at 60% power which is being controlled by a Trolmaster HydroX controller. The tent environment is on point with temp's running 70 when the light's off and 74℉ with the light on. I'm keeping the RH at 55-60% right now but will drop it as flowering progresses. Finally, I've been keeping the VPD in the tent running 0.85 - 1.05 which I'm happy with! 01/04- She's been doing well getting watered every other day and yesterday she received 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner which was then ph'd to 6.3 @ 72℉. She's definitely a big girl and with her wide node spacing doesn't really require any defoliation, just some LST and watch her grow! She's maintaining great color, vigor and is progressing into flower nicely! Well there's not much to say about this fine lady she started of as the absulute runt of the little and she come out queen of the litter ! Her main cola weight 50 grams ( wet ) which to me was really cool !! She had a total wet weight of 257G I will post the official dry weight as soon as the curing is done :) A big thank you to everyone who's shown there support for me ! Much love !! Week 1 flower Keeping them on veg nutes till stretch is done so about 3 weeks Slowly lowering the light every day I will keeping tucking them under the net to fill the net and keep a even canopy . I will do this for 2 weeks , then lollipop and defoliate

Another good week come and gone. A couple of the girls needed nutrients so I add some general hydroponics blend into those that needed them. Didn't seem to make much difference yet. But they are getting into late flower. The purple lemonade, without a doubt, has the best smells out of the crew. Actually lemonade smelling. Plus the color makes this worth exploring more. We’re officially in the third week of flowering 🌸and the plants are starting to stretch more. The buds are beginning to form, but they’re still in the early stages. The yellowing I was seeing last week has improved, likely due to a better watering routine and nutrient adjustments. The plants look healthier now, and the buds are starting to develop that frosty look. Ec ~ 1.6.

Despite her flaws due to my own fault she was giving me a real cheese smell but now the wedding cake comes through and sweetens it up. She smells amazing

WEEK 31 March-7 April. I just finished all setup afteer transplantation and so far all is working fine. Now she is comfortable and has plenty of space. I'm very proud of my AQUALOOP homemade system, that works perfectly. I'm going to increase nutes until 1.8 / 2.0 EC and go to make her blooming in a couple of weeks. Update 09/04: I've made a big defolation and strong LST. I decided to start soon the blooming stage, maybe during the WE.

All looking healthy beside some insect damage it is acceptable in organics gardens the good bugs keep them in check, healthy soil food web and all😎 To all a good week happy growing😎 07/06/2018 Mid week update #1 is 32.75" tall a as averaged not gonna measure each top. Started doing stem rubs for smell,so I'll include that to see if it relates to the end product tastes,smell. Forgot to rub #1 update latter. run On with #2 34. 5 orangie,lite minty. #3 26.25 straight minty chlorophyll. #4 is less stinkt .... #5 18.25 and she is Stinky brought her into it because I had extra and smells crazy stinky when I walked by it. Which is why I decided to do stem rubs.

Day 76. Stacking up nicely, the buds are tight together making me anticipate greatness. Happy with the canopy work I have done, two toppings and my first scrog. I'm defoliating nearly every day to aid optimal light distribution. Upping the wattage pretty soon

W3D1 - I literally dont do a thing other than check pH and ppm. Lotus nutrients have been the cleanest nutrients I have used so far, the water is clean, roots look great and the plants are exploding with growth. I don’t think I need to cycle the reservoir water anytime soon but I’ll be switching the water out next week. 6/13/20 - did some light defoliation this week, disconnected the reservoir in preparation of the water swap and layout change, Also added the tent lining back in order to better control the environment. Snapped a small branch on one of the plants during LST but luckily is was a lower node growth and not the main top! I’m pretty sure i might have slightly stunted this one but its still growing pretty healthy. I am trying to keep better track of this grow, i started this grow during le quarantine and was called back to work so the work/life schedule has changed all up...

Day 52-64 (Day 54) I’m going to thoroughly inspect each plant and remove bananas if found. So far it’s only been the one on #7 but I don’t want to take a chance. I’m also going to give a watering with some runoff. (Day 55) Can’t find anymore bananas but that one. I will probably find a few bag seeds but who knows. It’s way too late for pollen to really have effect anyway. These 5 plants finish nice and early compared to my other tent flipped on the same day. I would never take this strain 65+ days like last time. I would do 56-60 days next time I flower this strain (Day 58) Holy shit this tent is fading like crazy now. They are starting to show some beautiful autumn colors. #1 #5 and #7 are definitely done. #3 and #6 could use a little more time so I’ve decided to take them down on the 24th. I haven’t seen anymore bananas and the one that popped out on #7 has shriveled up and receded. (Day 63) I’m seeing what look like seed pods starting to form in some of the main colas on my picture perfect pheno. #7 is showing 3 or 4 little bananas too. All of the top buds are definitely done so I’m going to harvest as soon as the lights come on tomorrow. I’m going to give one last watering right now and then harvest. I’ve noticed that harvesting a watered plant will extend the dry time by a few days and that’s exactly what I’m looking for. A nice slow dry. Plants are being full plant hung + dry trimmed and tent is being kept at 60-65 degrees and 60-65% RH. Cutting everything down was a pain in the ass. I had to individually cut each square the scrog net so it wouldn’t contract and squish all the buds. I chopped down my other tent as well so I have no other plants in flower right now.

she tolerated the first topping well. i will continue to use LST on her and also try FIMing on her. the attempt is to generate a nice bushy plant

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great week. It was a good week again for the 5 mainlines, I did some final LST to try and keep the mains level, and I also defoliated the lower leaves to improve the air flow. I am still feeding the same veg nutrients which is just amor si, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will start transitioning to flower nutrients tomorrow and I will gradually switch over to all over flower nutrients by the end of the week. The ladies are about 24" inches tall, but I do anticipate them growing some more before the stretch ends. I am pretty much done with LST at this point, I will just continue to defoliate as necessary and make sure they are enjoying their environment. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Day 50 (2020-06-28): Start of a new week, otherwise nothing new to report! Day 51 (2020-06-29): G14 buds are finally starting to fill out a bit. CBD Crack is looking and smelling great. Day 52 (2020-06-30): Feeding today at 5.8 PH, increased nutes to 75% of recommended amount. Day 53 (2020-07-01): Hmm, looks like I will need to go back to 50% on nutes, some tip burn showing up in the G14. Day 54 (2020-07-02): Feeding today back to 50% flowering dose at 5.8 PH. Day 55 (2020-07-03): Nothing new to report. Day 56 (2020-07-04): G14 buds continue to fill out. Waiting one more day to water again.
