Another great week for the ladies, I am still feeding silica, cal mag, maxi bloom, and PK booster. I am still defoliating as needed, but not doing much other than keeping the reservoir full and around 5.9 PH. Not much to do but wait for the flowers to swell up. So far I am super happy with these genetics, very easy plants to train and work with. Thanks for stopping by, stay safe, and Blaze On!

Day 10F-17F (Day 10F) Everything is looking on point. I’m going to soak in a gallon of lite compost tea diluted to 400ppms on each plant except for #5. I’m still a little worried I won’t make it through the stretch but at the same time I fear N toxicity just as much. I will give one more lite tea before the end of stretch, most likely at the end of this week. (Day 12F) Ladies responded nicely to the tea except for BBB#1. It just isn’t looking as vigorous as it was last week. It’s the only one without an air hose so I guess it couldn’t hurt to grab one. The air hose does without a doubt prevent overwatering in soil and I’m surprised I don’t see more people using it. It’s cheap, effective and gives me similar results to growing in pure coco. I’m going to give one more light foliar spray of 3ml of calmag, 3ml of kelp and 2.5ml of insect frass. (Day 14) Got the air hose hooked up to all 5 plants now. I hate that I’ve been forced to defoliate so much in early flower and it is definitely reducing bud size. Last round my bbb’s had pistil clumps twice the size at this time and they were dealing with severe deficiencies. I’m hoping it’s just genetics or the fact they are larger plants. (Day 15) I’m starting to see signs of N toxicity on the some of the new growth and overall growth on all plants except #1 has slowed. It was most likely caused by the foliar spray/tea combo. No more feeding anything for the next 12 days at least. Luckily it’s still pretty early in flower but I know that N tox can hit really hard after the stretch stops. I would be pretty upset if I vegged for 80 days only to get severe N tox in mid flower. Since it’s not breaking down in the soil, I should be fine. I’m going to defoliate some more of the large bottom fan leaves as they hold large reserves of extra nutes I don’t need. Hopefully these small defoliations aren’t stressing them at all. Next round I plan to do a big strip one week before flower, at transplant and a second big strip on day 21. (Day 17) I think I was over-worrying about the seriousness of the N tox. I’ve seen it hit very hard in mid flower and can’t be too careful. It’s almost always caused by water soluble nitrogen so I’ll try to stay away from that unless I absolutely need it. My case does not look to alarming just yet. I noticed the stunting on #3 right after that last tea so I am going to stop giving the last liter of compost tea because of how unbalanced and separated at the bottom it is. It sure helped out the other 4 plants that didn’t get the granulars from the bottom of the bucket. I‘m planning to give a bloom tea around day 26 and a final top dress a few days later. #1 has now out stretched everything else in the tent. I honestly was not expecting that. If #3 didn’t get stunted this whole week I think it would be the taller/heavier plant.

All plants harvested after 56h of total dark. I love the quantity and even more the quality of buds. Now, time to let them dry. All sugar leaves are in the freezer, ready for cooking oil infusions. I did trim most of them, but some smaller buds will be dry trimmed after drying. I did not measure wet weight, I just dont find it useful at all. I will upload harvest when buds are dry and measure the dry weight. Cheers!

Very dense buds, the most dense I ever had .... I think .... They are ubersticky and have a super intense sweet smell (that covers the entire house by now 🤭👃) Really happy with this one... Could be one of my best outcomes in a very long time... Could be forever

Week 6 Flower Report: Maturation in Full Swing! 🌟 Welcome to the week where the magic of maturation takes center stage! 🌟 The garden has reached a pivotal moment as the trichomes are bursting with potential. Each one a glittering universe, they are the undeniable stars of this show, taking over every surface with their frosty brilliance. ✨ Watching them evolve is like witnessing art being created in real time – it’s a reminder of the beauty and patience this craft demands. Trichomes: The Frosty Frontier This week, the focus is all about those frosty beauties! • Trichomes are the key indicators of ripeness and cannabinoid production. Watching their progression from clear to cloudy to amber provides the ultimate insight into maturity. • Currently, we’re seeing a fantastic mix of cloudy trichomes with some clear still hanging around – a perfect sign that they’re gearing up for their final push. • Fun fact: Trichomes serve as the plant’s natural defense mechanism, protecting it from UV rays and pests while being our treasure trove for cannabinoids and terpenes. Spectrum Tuning: The Science of Light Light plays a major role in shaping the maturation process, and this week, we’ve dialed in the spectrum for optimal results. Here’s the breakdown: • Whites: Running at 77% to maintain robust overall growth and trichome density. • Deep Reds, Far Reds, and UV: Maxed out at 100% to mimic the end-of-season spectrum, signaling the plants to finish strong. • Deep Reds: Enhance photosynthesis efficiency through the Emerson effect. • Far Reds: Promote stretch and flowering hormone production. • UV: Stimulates trichome production for an extra boost of frost! We’ve also added a timing twist: • Reds & UV start 15 minutes before whites to simulate sunrise. • Reds & UV finish 15 minutes after whites to mimic sunset, creating a more natural light transition. These subtle timing tricks help reduce stress while optimizing light absorption, ensuring every photon counts! 🌞 Environmental Conditions: Precision is Key Here are the dialed-in parameters for the week: • Temps: 26.3°C • RH: 70.1% • CO2: 800 ppm • VPD: 1.03 kPa With these numbers, the ladies are thriving in their sweet spot, absorbing nutrients efficiently while maximizing trichome development. Lighting Power: • Lower layer at 800 PPFD and the upper layer shining bright at 1500 PPFD. The canopy coverage is perfect for even development throughout the garden. Nutrition: Balanced and Boosted We’ve stuck with the tried-and-true nutrient mix this week but with some strategic adjustments: • Removed Breaking Powder to focus on trichome maturity. • Introduced K-Boost at 0.5 ml/L, giving the plants the potassium edge they need to pack on weight and enhance terpene production. • Feeding solution details: • pH: 6.2 • TDS: 755 ppm • Temp: 20.6°C In the Autopots, the medium stays perfectly hydrated at 100% with: • TDS: 580 ppm • Temp: 22.2°C Shoutouts and Gratitude A huge shoutout to the amazing genetics and these incredible ladies, and a big thanks to Trol Master, Aptus Holland and Pro Mix for the stellar products that are elevating this grow to new heights! 🌱💪 To all growers out there, remember: Patience is the secret ingredient. Watch, learn, and trust the process – the results will always amaze you. Here’s to another week of growth and gratitude. 2/24 MONDAY. 1am Starting to take off now, BPP is catching up all the others are great. Wont be cranking up the light its getting warm and I like to keep my grows low power and cool. 3pm Put Witches Wedding in Tent4 with Ricky’s Hash Plants Lights up to 65W. 2/26 LST on BPP👍👍👍 2/28 4am. good. 2-4pm topped Mix Pack started bottom feeding and get good results 1 glass on top then slowly add to bott 12-2pm repotted Fast Buds Mix Pack she is TALL so I felt she needed a more comfortable home, it was a difficult keeping her watered as well. I will top her tomorrow probably. Apricot is having trouble with the re-used dirt I put in. So I did a flush and saw it was overloaded with nutrients, too dark. She should catch up in 3 or 4 days no problems. They surprise me with how they recover and reconfigured their branch and root system and start to get HUGE like nothing happened so I know Apricot will recover. 3/1 2am made some more air filters. 6am 3/2 12am They look great 6 AM. I watered again from the bottom and a little bit at the top. They are phenomenal. I think my new watering technique helps. I’ve only been watering from the top and I think that’s been a problem. I do a 50-50 split of bud igniter with big bud by advanced nutrients next week. It will be 2 mL of big bud or maybe one. We’ll see how the flowers progress. 👍 3/4 4am Flushed Apricot with a gallon of water 6.4pH followed by normal nutrient until enough runoff, then bottom fed after returning to tent she took up water and is looking better today.

Again the super soil seems to save them and provide for exponential growth. I could try to up my humidity, which is somewhat low. But the phenotypes are looking awesomely similar for a no-name brand. This could be a hidden little gem and can't wait to see how they mature. Meanwhile been fighting gnats, tried to get rid of them with a solution of citric acid and water. It seems to help as a contact poison on the soil, while only being a tiny film, so I just don't have to add any citric coming waterings. We like them organic solutions with stuff already lying around the house. Next week I'm going to FIM them and hope this works out better than with my Orange Hill Special grow. Well Im off for this week but not without thanking @MarsHydroLED again for an awesome light! SP -3000 is a monster light, check it out on Aliexpress Mars Hydro Global Store!
