😉 Bake a sweeter tomorrow 💟&☮️ 🎂 Rocko’s Cake Off 🍰🍪💚 Day 15–21 | The Cat’s Out of the Bag! The little ones are developing surprisingly evenly. This week they got their first taste of Fish-Mix – and they absolutely loved it! 🌱 I accidentally let them dry out a little too much one day. But they didn't hold a grudge for long and bounced right back. 💧 There was still no way to tell just by looking at this little bunch of troublemakers who was male and who was female. So off went the samples to the lab – Realtime PCR instead of playing the guessing game! And now the cat's out of the bag: Eight candidates, three ladies! Two Peaches & Cream and one White Gushers Cake. And the best part? My personal favorites actually made it onto the girls' team! ✅♀️😎 Peaches & Cream #2 in particular had already raised some suspicions with her striking praying leaves. She was the only one standing there like she was volunteering to answer a question. ⬆️😂 The three ladies have earned their spots: Two will eventually move into 25-liter fabric pots with fresh substrate, while the third will probably get a smaller pot on the side. But first, it's time for some new shoes! This week they'll move into 3.5-liter intermediate pots. Their current ones are getting a little too tight. There might even be some topping involved already. The general plan is double pruning to keep the plants compact and bushy. Especially White Gushers Cake – we don't want her taking over the entire tent just yet! That's also why I've added some extra blue light during veg using the LED bars. 💙 I'll gradually increase the VPD as well. So far, the climate has still been running more at seedling levels. Conclusion: Three ladies, my favorites made the cut, and the next steps are all lined up. Can't complain about that! 😎 📢 Classified Ad: Five young gentlemen available for relocation! 🎡🤣 Young, vigorous, well-behaved, and full of energy. Unfortunately, they showed up for the wrong casting call. Anyone interested, just give me a shout! 😉 Bake a sweeter tomorrow. 💟&☮️

04/28/2020 Week #8 of flowering begins will post more pics latter. 04/29/2020 Did some leaf removal had some powdery mildew on some leaves took infected leaves off, plus some for good measure. Drying out every day or two today she took one liter before run off. You can see in the video the colors? And sparkling buds? 04/30/2020 Day 50 I decided to take the top buds in pics , 47 grams wet. It is a 9-12 week strain but I think she need a week or two? But we will see.

June 24 - July 1 They just keep growing. No problems whatsoever with these plants. Topped off the soil. Started feeding it Fox Farm Grow Big/Big Bloom, alternating, .5 liters each, alternating. Huge height disparity between the three, even though they were grown identically. Plant A - 11" Plant B -22" Plant C - 17" Potentially giving one away (Plant C) to live in a garden, we will see what becomes of it.

At the beginning of the 2nd week flowering I started to defoliate and have tied down the 8 main branches of one of the strains, looks very funny like a "Circle of Buds" 😁 but now struggeling with the mass of new branches...

It's all happening. Buds are thickening out really nicely. The only downside is that I haven't anticipated how tall haze grows. I've had to do a bit of LST on my largest top bud to keep it away from the light....it has grown about 5cm from the lamp, so i've trained it back down to 10cm under the lamp. Next time I need 2 ScROG nets - The first needs to sit about 15cm from the base of the pot, with constant training in the weeks 1-3 to get the plant growing right to the edge of the tent. The second will be added in week 5-6 about 40cm from the base of the pot - when the plants meet the second net I'll then train the top buds inwards towards the centre of the net. I am also DEFINITELY defoliating properly next time - all the lower branches have died off and I'd like all that energy to be directed towards the flowers. Has to be the last job before I flip my lights.

June 8th & June 16th Update @gbaGrow What’s good sensei? The girls are growing nice and healthy. Looks to me like the spider mite problem is no longer. Still haven’t used any nutrients because the soil is still going strong. Today I topped all of them and left anywhere from 3-5 node pairings on each plant. I poked some drainage holes in the bottom of each solo cup a couple of weeks ago and quite a few of them are already growing roots through the bottom 😬😬 The cancer blaster and the purp fem seeds you gave me are coming in nice and full. They look promising my dude. One of the “signature seeds” (your strain) has a crazy morphology to it.... 2 main kolas without any topping. I’ve only seen that once before and it ended up being a male but who knows with this one 🤞🤞 All in all, we’re in good shape so far over here Photos and pics on the way....

31.12.24: I have been readjusting the LST pegs and wire daily. Sometimes, twice a day! (I know, too much time on my hands)! 😆 The plants have responded fantastically! I'm so glad I gave it a go. Some plants have been a bit too tall, and I snapped Do-sì-dos P3, pulling the stem down. Audibly snapped 😬I let it be, though. It seems to have healed mostly, in only 2 days. I have increased the lighting to 70%. They're getting watered a few times a week, with 1 litre of Dechlorinated water, containing the following nutrients and additives; 1ml of Biobizz Bio-Grow, 1ml Biobizz Top Max, 1ml of Biobizz Bloom, 2ml of cal-mag, 1g of Ecothrive Biosys. The plants are responding well to this concoction, so it's all good so far. The leaves are looking greener and are getting darker. Will be monitoring to continue readjusting the LST ties. Also, to monitor the increased lighting level, to make sure they can handle that yet. 1.1.25: Happy New Year! I have continued to readjust the LST wire and plant pegs. Several times a day. Coincidence would have it, I have a 6ft tropical aquarium which was time for cleaning! I always water my Acer tree in the front yard with this water, with beautiful results 😍 👌 🍁 I decided to try it out in my indoor garden. I'll post photos of before and after to see the difference, good or bad 😅 3.1.25: Plants are doing very well, except for PPP3 I'm quite disappointed in that one, as I feel like it's wasting a space. I guess I'll have to keep it, along with the Do-sì-dos that I snapped twice, which refuses to die 😅 I started to lightly defoliate, which is difficult because I always get carried away with it. I'm going to water again with the nutrients in description of this week. Overall Pink Mist P3 is looking a little sparse, and training is difficult as the stem is harder and thicker than the other plants in the tent. Hoping to see some more growth this week! 4.1.25: Continuing to defoliate and adjust the LST pegs and wire. Watered today with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0. With the following nutrients;- 2ml Biobizz Bloom, 4ml Biobizz Bio-Grow, 2ml Cal-Mag, 2ml Ecothrive Flourish, 0.2 g/ltr of Ecothrive Biosys. I've increased the Nitrogen by adding double the amount of Biobizz Bio-Grow. I'm trying to keep them growing for as long as possible! I really want to keep the strength up and keep the leaves nice and lush green! 💚 Will update here with more photos and videos. Thanks for checking out my diary 🍃 ✌️

✨ Fairytale Leaves & Phenotype Magic Welcome to flowering, where potential meets reality. Both Gelonade phenos are stepping into this new phase with vigor, balance, and beauty — but one of them is telling a very special story. 🍃 Pheno #2: The Leaf Dancer This pheno has leaves that defy convention — opening in a structure that resembles a human hand folding out from the palm, each finger unfurling in elegant rhythm. Imagine: • Three central “fingers” • Each outer one splitting into three more • Forming a seven-pointed star, nested within a trinity of growth It’s not a mutation that hinders — it’s a genetic flourish. A dance of symmetry, expression, and vitality. 🌿 These aren’t just leaves. They’re art. 🖼️ We’ve captured this in photos and video — no filter needed. Just nature doing its finest work. Plant Stats – Week 1 Flower / Week 5 from Seed: • Height: approximately 40 cm • Light Intensity (PPFD): 766 µmol/m²/s • Temperature: 31°C • Humidity: 50% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • EC: 0.6 • pH: 6.1 Despite slightly high temps and VPD, the girls are loving it. They’re adapting, stretching slightly, and showing excellent turgor and coloration. ⸻ 💧 Nutrition & Soil Strategy This run is driven by a super soil base, and it’s doing the heavy lifting. That’s why we’re keeping the water feed light and strategic. 💦 Current Feed (per liter): • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml → Strengthens cell walls, improves nutrient flow • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml → Supports structure and photosynthesis • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml (new this week) → Prepares for flower, encourages early bloom structure ⚠️ No All-In-One Liquid now → The slow-release pellets in the soil cover the macro-nutrient demands. → This keeps EC low (~0.6) and prevents salt buildup. We’re letting the soil biome + amendments guide the bulk of nutrition. Water is a carrier, not a crutch. ⸻ Why Switch from Start Booster to Top Booster? Start Booster = roots & early leaf Top Booster = flower signal + potassium focus This switch marks the turning point: Roots are now established, and it’s time to nudge the girls toward blooming, gently and with precision. Top Booster also enhances: • Early bud site formation • Transition metabolism • Potassium availability for cell expansion ⸻ Gear Check Everything is tuned in and working in harmony: • Lights: Future of Grow LED + ThinkGrow Model One • Controllers: TrolMaster Tent-X + Spider Farmer GGS • Airflow: • Two 6” carbon-filtered exhaust fans • One 6” filtered intake • Controlled by both ecosystems All this tech = manual precision + automated consistency ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next We’re not seeing pistils yet, but the structure is shifting. Nodes are spacing. Branches are reaching. Energy is focusing upward. Here’s what we might expect in Week 2 Flower: • First signs of pistils • Shift in leaf texture • Possible terpene expression (early scent) • Stretch phase (up to 2x height) ⸻ The Fairytale of Pheno #2 Sometimes, a single plant will speak louder than others. Pheno #2 is doing just that, not with speed or size, but with shape, rhythm, and elegance. The leaves whisper a story: Of lineage, light, and mystery. Of something old reborn in a new form. Of a garden that listens, and a grower who sees. ⸻ 💚 Final Thoughts This isn’t just a grow. It’s a living exploration of genetics, care, and love. As the Gelonades move toward flower, we’re watching not just for yield, but for expression. For surprises. For beauty in all forms. Week 1 of flower is quiet, but underneath, everything is shifting. Let’s walk slowly. Observe closely. Love fully. And let’s see what Week 2 has to say 🌸 With love and green respect, DD (Dogdoctor) & The Gelonade Girls 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. The Mimosa ladies are now starting to bloom 🎉 I hope they don't stretch too much though. The light is almost at the highest position because I want to prevent another light stress episode. Ofcourse there is always supercropping, but I want to prevent any stress at this point. I'm slowly switching to bloom nutrients but in small amounts. Stay tuned for more updates and pictures later this week ☘️😀 The two plants in the back are full in bloom, but the one in the front is kind of a late-bloomer. It may make a sprint to the finish, but otherwise I will harvest the two other plant and leave this one to bloom a bit longer. We still have 4 to 5 weeks ahead of us and so much can happen in a few weeks. I'm very happy about how the plants made their recovery after the light stress. They look great and seem in good condition.

~ AirCube Active Oxygen Ebb/Flow System sponsored by GrowAce, featuring Tropicana Cookies by FastBuds ~ Well guy's and gal's here we go again on another exciting Autoflower run together! This time will be different as I will be doing a 'Hydroponic' run utilizing the AirCube Active Oxygen Ebb/Flow System by GrowAce, who were kind enough to sponsor me for this run, so it should be interesting to see what results I get and have some fun along the way! •Let me first tell you about this 6 Pot Ebb/Flow system from GrowAce: "The AirCube system is the one and only Ebb & Flow grow system on the market that combines the benefits of air pruning with a fully automated Ebb+Flow system! With the AirCube's proprietary fabric pot in bucket design, this system is guaranteed to outgrow any other Ebb + Flow system on the market. The results speak for themselves- grow MASSIVE roots that result in MASSIVE fruits! Air Pruning- Air Pruning only happens with fabric pots. As the roots reach the fabric walls of the pot, they penetrate and grow into the breathable fabric. Once penetrated, the roots are exposed to air, which causes the tips of the root to dehydrate and naturally prune themselves. This natural pruning process forces the roots to grow tons of lateral fibrous feeder roots. This results in a plant that utilizes the entire root zone and fills the entire pot with tons of roots. These fibrous feeder roots are incredibly effective in uptaking water and nutrients, resulting in a plant that grows healthier and more vigorously! Oxygen Benefits- Without oxygen, nutrient absorption cannot occur. On a molecular level, oxygen is needed to transmit nutrients across the cell walls and into the roots of a plant. With the AirCube's proprietary bottom lifted draining design, the system actively draws all of the water out of the bucket pulls vital oxygen into the root zone. Maximum Versatility with Any Grow Medium: The AirCube System is the only system on the market that allows you to use any growing medium you like. Use coco coir, soil, peat moss, perlite, vermiculite, hydroton, rockwool or any other medium you wish! This system is the most versatile Ebb and Flow bucket system in today's hydroponics industry. Temperature Control- with the fabric pots constructed with highly porous polypropylene fabric, heat dissipates easily and effectively. Unlike standard plastic pots, heat isn't trapped in the root zone. Heat in standard plastic containers can reach temperatures of up to 125 degrees. When this type of heat is trapped and unable to escape, it can damage your plant's health and limit the potential of your harvest. Growing in the AirCube System, plant roots grow cooler, healthier, and more vigorous. Largest Pots in its Class- this system features 5 Gallon grow buckets, the largest pot size of any other ebb and flow hydroponic system in the market. Modular and Expandable- start with 6 grow buckets and expand up to 36 grow buckets with the optional 105 gallons PopTank reservoir!" For my medium and nutrients I decided to also switch things up from my regular Organic runs, going with Plagron Nutrients and Root Royale 70/30 Coco/Perlite. When filling the fabric pots with medium, I first added just under a gallon of horticulture perlite from Nor-Cal as a base layer to ensure good drainage and then filled the remainder with the Root Royale. •Now for the outstanding, award winning strain from my friends at FastBuds... Tropicana Cookies Auto: I'll be running Tropicana Cookies Autoflower which is a 60/40 Indica/Sativa Hybrid. "Tropicana Cookies Auto is the perfect variety for growers of all levels, especially beginners as this strain performs very well outdoors and indoors, and can produce up to 500 gr/m2 in 56-63 days without needing extra maintenance. Reaching up to 110 cm, this strain grows fairly tall with medium-sized branching, showing its mixed heritage. Definitely the right choice for those with a high tolerance looking to get their hands on the strongest autoflowers out there. You can expect an extremely powerful and long-lasting high that’ll boost your mood and give you that extra push you need to start your days on the right foot. This variety offers the whole range of citrus and woody flavors with a strong candy-sweet background that will keep you coming back for more and more."* *References: GrowAce.com, 2fast4buds.com ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: • AC Infinity 4x4 tent •AC Infinity Cloudline T6 Exhaust Fan w/ Controller 67 •HLG 650R w/UVA Bar *** For some reason GD does NOT have a listing for the USA version of the 650R so I selected the closest match to it. •AirCube Active Oxygen Ebb/Flow 6 pot System •DL Wholesale Root Royale Coco Lite 70/30 coco/perlite •TrolMaster Hydro-X Controller for light •AutoPilot APC8200 co2 controller fed by a 50# tank •16" Hurricane oscillating fan and 8" floor fan •Tent cooling via filtered outside air delivered by AC Infinity Cloudline T6 fan •BlueLab instruments: PH Pen and Truncheon Nutrient Meter ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 10/15- Here we go into the second week of veg for the FastBuds Tropicana Cookies and these little ladies need some serious TLC! I have the AirCube system set to 'Automatic Feed' now with two feeds per day for 15min. each. I'm checking the reservoir PH and EC before each feed as I'm still getting a PH climb due to the large air stone I have in the reservoir, and I want to keep my ppm's in the 600-700 range. So far, so good with the increase of nutrients. It looks like they are all beginning to get their color back, albeit slowly. 10/17- The Tropicana Cookies continue to be fed twice daily at 7am and 9pm, which works out to three hours AFTER lights on and six hours BEFORE lights off. So far this is working well with the medium having ample time to drain between feedings. I can see a noticeable difference in their color now, especially in the #1 plant. The #2 plant has a pair of lower leaves that are pretty damaged and I'll do a 'surgical' removal of them soon. the #3 is looking the best of the group, but the other two are on the rebound now. I'll have to wait and see how much this problem affects the plants growth and flowering and hope for the best! 10/19- I've got the AirCube system dialed in now and my little ladies have made a dramatic comeback! I've upped the nutrients to 650ppm's and am running the PH at 6.0-6.2 @ 74℉. Tent temperatures are running 73/80℉ during lights off/on, RH is being maintained @ 65%, and co2 levels at 1150-1300ppm's. I upped the output of the HLG 650R to 65% via a TrolMaster Hydro-X Controller, and have it hung 28" above the plants. Today, I drained and cleaned the reservoir and 'brain bucket', then refilled the system with 60L of well water to which added the following: 100ml each of Plagron Cocos 'A' & 'B', 30ml of Plagron Power Roots and 45ml of Botanicare CalMag+, and 3 tbsp. of Plantonics Amino Bliss amino acids for a final level of 650ppm's. I then checked the ph and adjusted to 6.0 @ 74℉. I have also set the GrowAce AirCube system to 'Auto' mode and have it set for three 15min feedings a day, six hours apart, beginning two hours after 'lights on'. 10/21- There goes three weeks from seed on the books! All three Tropicana Cookies are looking really good now with great color and vigor, and I'm primarily concentrating on maintaining a consistent environment in the 4x4. The three times a day feeding schedule with Plagron nutrients ( Cocos A & B, Power Roots) continues @ 650ppm. I am also checking the reservoir before each to monitor and adjust the PH and nutrients when needed. I have noticed that after each feed the reservoir PH climbs 0.9of a point to 7.0, so I have been adding 30ml of Safer Grow PH Down which brings the PH down to 6.1. 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Please visit as often as you wish and I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I know I will! Grow what you love, Love what you grow!💚
