First off I just want to say for some reason it’s not letting me change the right temperatures on my diaries ! Each time when I put it in they stay at 50. My day air stays 75 degrees an , night degrees is 70 ! Today is day 58 for all these ladies! This week has been really great ! Girls really progressed a lot , especially for one the Forbiddin Runtz, looks like is gonna finish up in a week or 2 ! Other then that they are coming along well! Keep those eyes peeled for next week! Cheers😶‍🌫️💨💨💨💨

I’m going to leave the seedlings in the small brown pots until their 1st node and then I’ll transfer them into bigger plastic 3.5gal pots with 80/20 soil to perlite potting mix. One Dosidos is looking a bit behind and the one with the weird leaves ended up catching up to the Northern Lights, maybe even growing faster than it. All Dosidos’ ended up dying but one and I’m sure it’s on the way out. Northern Lights has had no issues and growing perfect.

Candyman is now Day 22 of flower! The smells are beautiful 2 smell more gassy and one smells more lemon now. They are drinking a lot every 2 days now, I've took a lot of leaves off and lower bud spots to give the tops more energy the finish line is fast approaching now and I can't wait 😍 Day 26 of flower and they are stinking they smell like gassy shit 🤣 but my last run of skywalker did that and was unreal smoke, so 🤞🏻 Update: Day 78, Day 28 of flower! It's the start of week 4 today and the colours are starting to change 😍 smelling and getting frosty by the day now. Really can't wait to try these girls out ✌️🏻

Animal Mints — Legends of the Frozen North Part 3 — Smoke Review & Final Thoughts And here we are. The final chapter of this frozen journey. Before we begin, we once again want to thank everyone that followed this run from seed to harvest. We know these reports became long, divided into multiple parts across several weeks, but honestly, this is the only way we know how to properly document a cultivation journey while keeping things educational, transparent, emotional, and real. Because growing does not end at harvest. Drying matters. Trimming matters. Curing matters. Storage matters. And finally… the smoke itself matters. So before talking about the final medicine, let’s make a quick resume of how we got here. ⸻ This entire run was grown 12/12 directly from seed. Minimal intervention. Minimal stress. Almost no training at all besides occasional leaf bending and small adjustments to help light penetration naturally. The plants grew directly into the PPFD we provided, shaping themselves beautifully under the environment instead of being forced aggressively into unnatural structures. And honestly… this style of cultivation continues to impress us more and more every single run. Compact plants. Dense flowers. Massive trichome production. Efficient morphology. Beautiful natural structure. We combined both organic and mineral approaches using Plagron nutrients throughout the cycle, allowing the plants to feed aggressively while still maintaining beautiful terpene development and overall flower quality. The girls finished strong. We harvested during lights-off. We dried them whole-plant style for 10 full days at around 18–20°C and roughly 60% humidity. Then came trimming. Then curing. Then preservation. And now… Around two months later… We finally sit down in the frozen north to truly experience what these girls became. ⸻ And honestly? This medicine is beautiful. Animal Mints might carry “Mint” in the name, but in this particular run, none of the phenotypes expressed any noticeable mint profile at all. And that is completely okay. Because what these girls delivered instead was absolutely outstanding. The dominant profile is unmistakably: Pine. Diesel. Strong earthy-herbal tones. But there is also something else happening underneath it all. A strange sweetness. Not candy sweet. Not fruity sweet. Not sugary sweet. It is almost impossible to explain properly. It sits underneath the pine and diesel like a soft background note that lingers quietly behind the heavier aromas. The more time passes during curing, the more this strange sweetness starts appearing between the earthy layers. And honestly, this is exactly why we love curing so much. The plant evolves. ⸻ On inhale, the smoke immediately hits with a strong pine-diesel combination. Dense. Heavy. Rich. The earthy-herbal profile follows immediately afterward, coating the entire mouth and throat with thick lingering flavor that stays there for a very long time after exhaling. And then comes that strange sweetness again. Not fully identifiable. But present. Like the memory of sweetness rather than sweetness itself. The smoke itself is incredibly smooth despite being extremely dense. Heavy clouds. Rich texture. Oily feeling smoke. You can feel the resin content immediately. ⸻ Now let’s talk effects. Because this is where these girls truly define themselves. This is not daytime productivity medicine. Not at all. Could you enjoy it during the afternoon by a lake, pool, beach, or somewhere peaceful? Absolutely. But if you have responsibilities, work, errands, or tasks that require active focus and productivity… This is probably not the medicine you reach for. Because Animal Mints pulls you deeply into relaxation. Body and mind equally. This is not purely physical sedation. And it is not purely cerebral either. It hits both directions simultaneously. Heavy relaxation. Mental slowdown. Comfort. Warmth. Stillness. The type of medicine that makes you melt slowly into your chair while conversations become softer and time starts moving differently. Perfect for: * late afternoons * evenings * nighttime sessions * movies * deep conversations * music * relaxing environments * disconnecting from stress This is beautiful end-of-the-day medicine. And honestly… it performs that role exceptionally well. ⸻ Of course, the classic dry mouth is absolutely present. But honestly, that comes naturally with many powerful resin-heavy cultivars. Hydration becomes part of the ritual itself. And for people uncomfortable with those stronger medicinal effects, this simply may not be the right type of medicine for them. But for anxiety, stress, depression, mental exhaustion, and emotional decompression… These girls genuinely shine. ⸻ Now let’s talk final numbers. Plant A gave us: 127g Plant B gave us: 247.8g Plant C gave us: 287.9g For a final total of: 662.7 grams 127 + 247.8 + 287.9 = 662.7 And honestly… this is an outstanding result for dense, heavily resinous 12/12-from-seed plants grown with this style. Especially because the quality remained consistent across all three plants. Some flowers became slightly denser than others after drying. Some phenotypes stacked a little differently structurally. But terpene-wise? Practically identical. We stored them separately. We cured them separately. We tested them separately. And honestly, in a blind test, we genuinely do not think we could confidently tell Plant A from Plant B or Plant C. That level of terpene consistency between phenotypes is incredibly impressive. ⸻ We also want to mention how beautiful this entire project felt visually and emotionally. From the frozen harvest aesthetics… to the hanging plants… to the trimming sessions with Mr. Baggy beside us… to the cinematic frozen north imagery… everything about this run felt like a complete universe of its own. Even sitting later in the frozen north enjoying this medicine while looking over the endless ice and mountains… That image perfectly captured the feeling of this journey. Cold world. Warm medicine. Legends of the Frozen North. ⸻ Massive thanks to Zamnesia for the genetics. Massive thanks to Plagron for the nutrients and support throughout the run. Because genetics create potential, but nutrition, environment, and cultivation practices shape how that potential finally expresses itself. Huge thanks to GrowDiaries. Huge thanks to the community. The followers. The longtime supporters. The silent readers. The lovers. The skeptics. The haters. The growers sharing knowledge every day. All of you are part of these journeys too. And even though this chapter now closes… The story continues. New genetics. New runs. New experiments. New legends. The frozen north never truly sleeps. 📡 DELETED @ 1K Please stay tuned.we never quit https://www.youtube.com/@TheDogDoctorOfficial NEW 🙏 Thank you for your patience and continued support. До новых встречь, если вам интересно следить за Русской травкой, подписывайтесь на мои дневники ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Greetings to all who follow me. Your support is very important to me. The day after I updated the last week of the diary, it was time to transplant the plants into a larger bucket. I will show you how to use cheap beer glasses to transplant your plants. You can watch it on the first video. When I transplanted plants, I additionally added mycorrhiza to a large bucket. They took root less than a week, on the order of four days. After which they still show some growth retardation and stress, but this time I forgot to open the windows so that fresh air enters and knocks down the temperature in the room, since my lamps warm quite strongly despite the powerful ventilation. Therefore, today I also gave root and vegetative growth stimulants, as well as basic nutrition and set the room to air. I also removed the first pair of unproductive leaves and lateral branches growing from them, since as a rule they are unproductive and slow down the growth of the plant, releasing some of the growth hormones and nutrients. 42 Days The lady has gained less height. But she has gained width. It's impressive what she's already wearing. There hasn't been a break from watering since the last update. Now it is 57 cm high and fits nicely in my laundry cupboard.

The week was super humid fluctuating around 90 % whole week and I could not manage to decrease the humidity below 60 % in the frow room sometimes which resulted with a single leaf of small powdery mildew on both Dripz and Star KillerxGrape Soda. I quickly removed the effected leaves on both hoping to catch it early. Therefore, I am running humidity around 50 % now but this increased the temp to 26,5 Celcius during day and 23-24 Celcius at night. I hope it does not spread further.

They were super easy to grow but took ill very quickly and didn't bounce back all that well but no great impact on the harvest, I'm still really happy with what's on the scales and I learned plenty from this round.

Hello again, The Shamans are doing great but the Criticalkushes are still not showing any signs of preflowering, therefore they might not finish properly in mid October. After that, it is to cold to have them outside. I can try to shorten the flowering proces for the criticalkushes but that will result into small buds. On the other side I rather have small full developed buds then big fluffy undeveloped buds with less thc on it. We will see how it goes. I started to notice some trips on my criticalkushes as well, not a major problem, just a few. So I have to get some Canna Cure again, The last bottle has been empty for a few weeks, which is just my fault, little bit lazy. Will get another bottle of Canna cure asap. It had been protecting my plants for weeks and it really worked alot. Besides that it kills of insects, it also give nutrients to the leafs which they really can use since I also spotted some minor things on the leafs. Until next week!

Day 92 - Starting week 14 and this is by far the longest any strain I’ve grown has gone and I’m hoping she’ll be ready by the end of week 15. Debating on if I should start the nutes back up but not sure if that’ll do anything for her. Day 93 - Nothing much to update today but she will be needing some water tomorrow. All the leaves are being sucked dry but just don’t see the pistils starting to die off yet, all are still bright white. Gonna check the trichs tomorrow before feeding and maybe trichs will show she’s almost done. Worried I started flushing too soon. Day 94 - Gave her another 2 gallons of water pH’d to 6.6 today. Other than that I just removed quite a bit of leaves but still haven’t done a heavy defoliation yet. I’ll probably take care of that tomorrow since most of them are yellowed up now. A lot of milky trichs in there but still a ton of clear so still has some time left. Day 95 - Nothing much new today, just monitoring her trichs even though she still has a ton of white pistils. She does have quite a few milky but most clear overall. Day 96 - Nothing new to report today. All is looking good, just not sure when she’s gonna finish up. Not seeing any signs of the pistils dying off so gonna keep letting her go but still only giving her plain pH’d water. Day 97 - She still seems to be going strong. Gave her two gallons of pH’d water today. Really hoping I start seeing the pistils shrivel up soon. There’s a lot more milky trichs but still quite a bit of clear. Hoping she’ll be finishing up in the next two weeks. Day 98 - End of week 14 and still going strong. Nothing much I can say right now but I’m gonna keep giving her water until she finishes up. Looks like some of her pistils might finally be starting to shrivel up so may have two weeks left.

Last few weeks have been fantastic and I can't wait to see how they all respond to the first big stress event. Topping any sites that are at canopy while letting the rest develop but keeping the best 6 primaries and keeping it nice and simple. 3/9 ok so I kept more than 6 on these, I think there's one of them that has 7 but the rest all have 8-9 main branches, if they were within 3-5" of the top of the canopy I just kept them, that much variation will even itself out with just some slight bending. 3/12: So I've topped all primaries once now, should be 14-18 new tops on all of these, I'm hoping to top again next week assuming they can keep growing 1" per day, that should give me an excellent structure for a big fat canopy in the flower room.

D68 (28/01/2021): First official day of week 6 in bloom and first official day (second in reality) of pre harvest flush. The smell is strong when I open the tent! It does not take long for the whole room to smell dank and even outside the room. - temp: 24-25C light ON ; 20-22C light OFF - no water - RH: 49-52% light ON ; 49-50% light OFF D69 (29/01/2021): I did a first proper flush today by running approximately 2.5 gallons of water trough the medium. There is still a lot of nutrients in the medium. I might do the exact same flush tomorrow. The PH of the run off is high (around PH7-7.1). This is an other reason to flush again tomorrow. I also reduced the light ON schedule by two hours. So now 18h hours ON and 6 hours OFF. I will continue reducing the ON period until they are ready for a complete dark period. I also try to reduce the air temperature. - temp: 24-25C light ON ; 19-20C light OFF - water: PH6.4, 135PPM, 2.5 gallons each - run off: PH7 and 680PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.1 and 560PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 47% light ON ; 48-53% light OFF D70 (30/01/2021): I did a second flush since I was not satisfied with run off PPM of yesterday. Today, the run off PPM is under 300 which is what I wanted. The run off PH is still high with 7.1. Banana Kush is ripening with the pistils slowly turning brown. Glue Gelato look sooooo yummy and I can't wait to harvest it. There is a small color change in some leaves but I'm expecting more in the next days. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 19C light OFF - water: PH6.4, 125PPM, 2.5 gallons each - run off: PH7.1 and 260PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.1 and 250PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 46% light ON ; 46-48% light OFF D71 (31/01/2021): Glue Gelato is changing color. I'm checking trichomes everyday on both girls and no amber yet. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 19C light OFF - no water - RH: 45% light ON ; 49-50% light OFF D72 (01/02/2021): Well well well...the clock is ticking for those girls. Glue Gelato is now having a couple of amber trichomes. Banana Kush don't have any. Overall Banana Kush has less trichomes and fluffier buds. This girls is not ready yet but I will need to chop her down at the same time has the Glue Gelato because my drying space is the tent I'm growing in. I will try to push the Banana Kush to ripen faster by lifting up the lamp at 16 inches from top bud and by reducing of 2 hours the day period for a 16 hours light ON and 8 hours light OFF. But at least all Banana Kush trichomes looks milky. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 18-19C light OFF - water: PH6.2, 123PPM, less then a gallon each - run off: PH7.4 and 200PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.4 and 287PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 45% light ON ; 40-45% light OFF D73 (02/02/2021): I gave water probably for the last time today. Trichomes on Glue Gelato are starting to amber on top buds. Not a lot of amber but you can see that all the trichomes are starting to degrade by curling down slowly. Trichomes on Banana Kush are not amber at all but they all look milky. Glue Gelato is ready to harvest but Banana Kush need more time. It's tough to make a decision to chop or not since they are not at the same stage of growth. I want to place them in a complete 48 hours of darkness before harvest. 1h less light today for a 15h light ON and 9h light OFF. The lamps are now at 20 inches. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 18-19C light OFF - water: less then a gallon each - RH: 45% light ON ; 40-45% light OFF D74 (03/02/2021): Glue Gelato is ready for 48h of darkness. I will take her out of the tent and place her in an other room without light. I will try to maintain a proper environment in this room and if it smells to strong or if the condition are not good I will replace her in the tent and both will start the 48h darkness. The idea is to give Banana Kush 2 more days to ripe and swoll more. After 48h, I will chop Glue Gelato and place her in the tent to start drying. Banana Kush will then start her 48h darkness. I don't know if this strategy is good but I will monitor everything closely and react if something is wrong. - temp: 22-23C light ON ; 19C light OFF - no water - RH: 47% light ON ; 43-45% light OFF
