On day 1 the reservoirs PH is 6.3. The rez is 483 ppm. The girls are looking good and nitrogen toxicity seems to have stopped. On day 2 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.1 to 6.3. The rez is 477 ppm. Trichomes seem to be 10% cloudy so I still have a bit to go i'm thinking 9 weeks should be a good bet! On day 3 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.4 to 6.1. The rez is 500 ppm. On day 4 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 503 ppm. I lowered the ppfd so my tallest received 900 ppfd and an average of 543 ppfd. On day 5 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 519 ppm. I removed some of the extra fan leaves blocking bud sites. On day 6 I changed out the reservoir with only tap water and adjusted the PH from 6.7 to 6.1 with a ppm of 249. The trichomes are maturing and I plan on harvesting on week 8 day 4 of flower. On day 7 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.5 to 6.0. The rez ppm is 250.

Well the pas week has been a lot! We had some dehydration issues, did some defolitation, and additional LST to prep for flower. Starting today, this plant has been kicked into the flower tent and will be starting its journey! Before we went to flower, I gave this guy 1tbsp of Dr. Earth tomato blend. Over the next week or so we'll be switching to Dr. Earth flower girl. Cheers til next time! -Dj Sunstone

Mango Kush – Week 1 Flower (Week 5 from Seed) Stretch, sibling rivalry, and fine-tuning the environment Grower: Dog Doctor Strain: Mango Kush – Pheno #1 & Pheno #2 Light Systems: • ThinkGrow Model One LED (main canopy) • ThinkGrow ICL300 (inner canopy lighting) • Black Series 600W LED (shared space) Ecosystem: TrolMaster-controlled, partially hand-watered ⸻ 🌸 First Week Flower – Stretch Mode Engaged We’ve flipped the Mango Kush girls into flower, and while there are still no visible pre-flowers yet, the stretch has begun. • Pheno #1: Already tall and well-structured, pushing into her 8th–9th node with strong lateral branching. • Pheno #2: Started later, but is rapidly catching up—shorter internodes, lush leaves, and a determination to match her sister in size before flowers set. 📸 Both got a full studio photo session this week—looking flawless and healthy from every angle. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C (a bit high, AC incoming) • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C • Watering: Daily (when soil dries to ~25% moisture) ⸻ ⚠️ High Temperature Talk – Risks & Rewards Risks: • Higher temps speed up transpiration, meaning the plants take in water and nutrients faster, which can cause imbalances if not monitored. • Combined with high VPD, temps can push plants close to stress thresholds. Benefits (if managed well): • Boosted metabolism → faster stretch and branch growth before bud set. • With CO₂ at ~632 ppm, plants can tolerate slightly warmer temps without losing photosynthetic efficiency. 💡 Plan: An AC unit is on the way to lock temps into the sweet flower range of 26–28°C. ⸻ 💧 Why Daily Watering Works Here In these conditions, the Mango Kush girls are drinking daily. Letting the medium dry to about 25% before rewatering helps: 1. Prevent overwatering – Roots get oxygen between feedings. 2. Keep nutrients stable – Avoiding EC spikes/drops. 3. Match plant demand – Giving them exactly what they’re ready to drink. Nutrients remain tat Aptus Holland recipe, now for flower, just with slightly increased volume to match their thirst. ⸻ 🌱 Sibling Rivalry – Pheno #2’s Big Push Pheno #2 may have started late, but she’s been stacking nodes and leaves like she’s got something to prove. At this rate, she might hit flower at nearly the same size as her big sister. This will be a fun side-by-side to watch—same genetics, different timelines. ⸻ 💡 Inner Canopy Lighting – ThinkGrow ICL300 We’ve installed the ICL300, a bar-style LED designed to sit inside the canopy. Why it matters for Mango Kush: • Better Lower Buds – More intensity to shaded sites → denser flowers. • Even Growth – Less height difference between top and bottom buds. • Efficient Canopy Use – Every branch gets a fair shot at the light. In multi-strain grows, inner canopy lights help prevent the smaller plants from being overshadowed, literally. ⸻ 🔮 What’s Next • AC arrives → temps stabilize → optimal VPD range. • Expect pre-flower pistils to appear in the next 7–10 days. • Watch Pheno #2’s progress—will she match #1 before the stretch is over? • Continue using ICL300 to fill out the lower canopy for more even bud development. ⸻ 📣 Thank you for following the Mango Kush journey! Got them all stripped down and moved the lights closer. Not going to top them next time, they respond so much more to supercropping. Let me know what you think, if you could take a second to go follow on IG I'll be posting more and more there as I get some stuff to teach people.

UPDATE - Saturday 13th March This week has been ok but I need to take it easy on the nutes! Especially with the soil one. Ooohhhhh 😵why did I use soil. It’s really annoying because it’s at weedy little seedling stage and iv obviously over fed it. I added some worm castings to the one on the right in the hempy bucket though , along with ecothrive biosys They should break down fairly quickly given how packed with microbes and micorhyzae to buffer the ph of my hempy buckets to where I need them to be. I don’t even bother with my ph pen now. I’m glad I didn’t spend £69 on one but it would be good to get a decent one at some point. It’s not top of the list though. Grow space number three is looming and this time I actually have the equipment. Only problem is I don’t want to use my old converted wardrobe. It’s too small and pretty pointless. If I’m going to have a tent in my studio flat space where I have to hear the fans or rather the varispeeds hum. I’m very tempted to take the big grow tent out of that room and then paint the walls bright white and just vent the room. Instead of the tent. The ductings already there. Then I could move the bigger tent somewhere else in the flat. The thing is - I started growing to provide me with my medicine, however, I’m in prohibition-land. So far I haven’t had the space to be able to get a monster harvest. My last one was the best so far I think it was 2.5oz between three plants. I have decided to turn it into an auto tent (shout out to fast buds for sponsoring me) They are just so easy. At first I was worried because i thought the lights were on longer but they finish so god dam quick from seed to smoking. I’m f surly sure curing autos must take longer than growing them. That fastberry is coming along nice but It’s such a non bushy plant. Like lanky but in a good way. A lanky green stem with these random bright purple buds on the tops. This is the first grow I’m going to use a proper magnification device when I need to check trichomes. I think iv been harvesting too early. Well actually just last time because I was scared the police were coming. LOONG story. Anyway, I’m looking forward to being able to see those thrich’s get cloudier and cloudier. Will make some nice source photographs for my art also. I nabbed these awesome plant holder uppers that just poke into the soil in the pot and they are round and have sections to put cola’s through. They look really perfect for auto’s final bushy look once trained.

although the first week outside was not very good, there was little sun and cold nights, the temperature was +7 at night, but it seems the girls successfully endured it, now they promise better weather :).

Day 36 1/13/25 I think she is taking to the location okay so far and after the first cut I did I’m not sure what I’m doing I’m just doing my own little mainline thing experimenting I guess I’m using APSU super soil and a little bit of build of soil 3.0 left from last grow and it’s a 7 gal pot als 1/14 day 37 Did second and final topping going allow about two weeks to bounce back and allow more growth and LST then flower

------GENERAL COMMENT------ Everything going well, the AK47 is much more vigorous than the BB, let's consider that she was more stressed. So i'm putting up the week timelapse, is a pain to do it but i found the result very interesting will try to put up one weekly. This week was a busy one, opted to a defoliation to be able to even the bud spots introducing a cage, and doing some LST, training to the cage to make a more flat pre flower spots in that way the flowering will be easier to control. So the plants grew in hight but was trained to be more bushy. We have a week to go or something about that then i will switch to 12-12. ------GG.AK47 COMMENT------ Vigorous growth, she was trained to even the canopy, with many bud spots.

All done and up for drying, will come back in a bit and write me a paragraph on the ladies that have been taken down! Overalll very happy with the outcome, they went over there suggested flowering times by a few weeks. Ceremony was the only one on her top side that had just started to finish up but she flowers for about 12 weeks so understandable but weve only got that 1 room to dry n grow in currently until more equipment arrives for the next coco ladies Drying on 55% RH with a 21-23 room temperature.

The plants received just Biobloom at a rate of 1.5ml/l twice at the start of this week. Since then the plants have been given just water. The light level has also been decreased to about 42 DLI. The plants are maturing and their buds ripening now. Unfortunately the taller back right plant has at least 4 seeds forming at different bud sites. Grow conditions have been good, consistent and the plants have been allowed to grow untrained and naturally. I suppose that is natures way, without it there would be no bag seeds and all the great varieties that have come from them. Whilst the carbon filter does its job well, when I open the tent now the fruity funky smell is loud. I had a Paloma cocktail the other day which has pink grapefruit in it. The back right plant now smells like a Paloma. The front left plant continues to smell like orange juice. This coming week I will continue with the water only and remove the spent leaves. I will also start to scrutinise the trichomes heads.
