Week 9 – Late Ripening, Root Zone Reset & Canopy Management Entering Week 9 puts us squarely on the home stretch. Transpiration has noticeably tapered off as the plants wrap up floral development, which made the stubborn 6.7–6.8 runoff pH even more critical to resolve before the final flush. With nutrient demand declining and runoff volumes climbing, I made key structural adjustments to dial in the finish line: Eliminating the Silicate Buffer: The root cause behind the elevated runoff pH was Silic Rock (potassium silicate). At this late stage, its strong alkaline buffering was continuously fighting the acidification and blunting the action of Athena Cleanse. I dumped the remaining reservoir and mixed a fresh 35 L batch (EC 1.0 mS/cm, initial pH adjusted to 5.4)—**completely cutting out Silic Rock** while maintaining a 0.2 ml/L dose of Cleanse for root and line hygiene. Dropping the silicate frees the root zone to sit naturally in the optimal coco absorption band. Metabolic Shifts Under High DLI & CO₂: The plants have been pushed hard under high light intensity and CO₂ supplementation throughout bulk bloom. Heavy phosphate uptake in prior weeks, coupled with an anion/cation exchange that pushes hydroxyl ions OH into the rhizosphere, left behind concentrated salt pockets in the coco core as transpiration outpaced nutrient consumption. Canopy Thermal & Radiation Relief: Looking closely at the main colas directly beneath the fixture's center, several top pistils showed early browning and heat stress. This was photo-oxidation from high PPFD rather than uniform trichome maturity. To relieve canopy stress and protect ripening calyxes, I raised the LED fixture by 10–15 cm, dropped ambient temperature by 2°C, and increased relative humidity by 2% to bring the VPD into a gentle, non-stressful range for the final fade. Phenotypic Variances (Seed vs. Clone): Operating four distinct seed-grown phenotypes under an automated dripper setup requires keen observation. Plant #3 developed a noticeably denser root block with slower drainage, requiring targeted manual top-offs to match the wash-through of the other three. With the fresh, unbuffered reservoir locked in and light stress minimized, the canopy is cruising cleanly through Week 9 to finish cloudy and amber without salt buildup. Day 58 / Week 9 – Official Start of Nitrogen Cut & Heavy FadeToday marks the official start of the Fade Out / N-Cut phase. This morning was the very last feeding containing any nitrogen; from here on out, it’s 100% zero-N all the way to harvest. These are the final snapshots of the green canopy before the full autumn fade sets in. The goal of this protocol is simple: force the plants to deplete their internal nutrient reserves and break down excess chlorophyll in both leaves and flower calyxes. Excess chlorophyll and lingering nitrates are the primary culprits behind harsh smoke and a grassy taste—cutting nitrogen now guarantees a silky-smooth smoke, clean white ash, and lets the authentic terpene profile shine without interference.Current Reservoir & Regime:Water: 100% pure RO (EC 0.0)Formula: Complete Nitrogen Cut (0 ml N-base). Running a specialized $text{CaCl}_2$ finish for calcium and cell wall rigidity without nitrogen, coupled with light PK and essential micros.Biostimulants: Chitosan oligosaccharide (systemic defense / SAR against botrytis) and Triacontanol + Kinetin for late-stage resin synthesis and terpene density.Parameters: Inflow EC 1.0 mS/cm, pH dialed in at 5.4–5.6 to clear the root zone buffering.Plant 1 is already wrapping up senescence with heavy calyx swelling and rich anthocyanin purples, while Plant 3 is finishing its final push of calyx stacking. The flush/fade clock is officially ticking!

still growing fast as fuck. i was falling more and more in love with her as time passed. she was showing signs of hunger so i gave her, her first feed of veg nutes on december 5th 2021. I mixed 1/2 tsp to each gallon. I used a bucket with 3 gallons of dechlorinated tap water. Decmber 8th: same amount of veg to gallons of water with the same 1/2 tsp. phd to 6.4. December 10th gave her a feed honestly dont know how much. id say about 10-20 cups worth of dechlorinated tap water with 1/2 tsp of veg nutes to 3 gallons.

I backed my light up a little and let my nutes sit for longer this time. She’s improving. Think I’ll up my ph on the next watering. Trichs are starting to come in I added a dish of water to up humidity. Don’t know if it’s helping. One of the pics has a blemish. It’s from me, not spotting from deficiency. She’s looking yellow and skinny. Stems got really dark

Zilk road - grounded genetics Zai zai - perfect tree In - z - air - perfect tree Peachoz - perfect tree 16 x 8l fabric pots. Flipped 4 week since from soaking seed. 1.5m x 1.5m tent Maxibright 660w 8 bar full spectrum led. Day 39 since switch 12/12. Some took couple weeks to show sex. Couple more weeks of nutes before flushing. Got one mongy plant in the corner. Thought it was a male at first but it’s budding so just letting it do it’s thing. It’s slow on taking on any water but it’s still going lol. Ordered some more seeds for next run. Some more perfect tree rotten apple, and then terp treez Rs11 and zoap 39.

Starting my flush this week using 10ml of Clearex per Gallon of water flushed down to 450EC or 225ppm, going to now continue watering with ph'd balanced water when dry with about 10-20% runoff. Going to keep an eye on the trichomes but I'm thinking I'm gonna harvest early to mid of next week. I'm going to try and bring out even more of the colors in the flowers this last week or two and I'm going to start watering with ice cold water not sure if it'll help or not but I'm gonna give it a shot. End of Week 13/Week 8 of Flower it went well the plants are flushed and are fading, going to chop in a few days.

D71. Week five of flower and the girls are simply doing their thing. I scouted the plants today and found thrips on the second girl. I was hoping the lacewings would have gotten them all by now, but no such luck. I'll give them a week before ordering another batch. For some reason, the thrips avoid the first girl. Visually, there's also a clear difference between the two girls, with the first girl being darker and having more buds. ------------------------------ D73. I brewed a short (6 hours) compost tea today consisting of worm castings, kelp meal, neem meal, humic and fulvic acid, rock dust, biochar, and molasses. After the brew, I added homemade Bokashi juice, which lowered the pH of the tea to 6.6. Each girl got 2.5 liters of tea (5% of pot volume.) I also did another light round of defoliation, down low on the plants. ------------------------------ D75. Each girl got 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.5, with 5 ml of FFJ. The plants stretched SO MUCH after flipping them into flower that it's challenging for the light to penetrate the canopy, and it's pretty dark further down. I bought some LED grow light strips and installed them in the tent to provide additional side lighting. It's only 36 W of extra lighting, but I hope it will help to develop the numerous buds down low. I put the lights on the left side of the tent, around the first girl, since she has a lot more buds, but now that it looks like the concept works, I might get another set of lights for the right side of the tent. ------------------------------ D77. We've reached the end of the fifth week of flower, and all is well in the tent. Ahem, almost all since I still have the thrips to contend with, BUT I just put a bunch of Cucumeris predatory mites in the tent, so the war rages on. A friend suggested adding white cloth below the plants to reflect more light toward the lower buds. Sounds plausible, but I didn't have any fabric, so I went all ghetto by simply putting strips of kitchen paper on top of the scrog net. Not the most fantastic reflector material ever, but it's what I had at hand. Plus, it's easy to work with and costs next to nothing. I doubt it will make a big difference, but even a slight increase is still an increase, and I could see a visible difference in the amount of light hitting the lower canopy. Finally, each plant got 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.3, with FFJ and Bokashi Juice. ------------------------------

"Delicious seeds" bank is one of my favorite. Every time germinated, impressive results and the taste! All 3 seeds popped and since I have some extra space in my tent, I decided to also stick a plant of AK74 by Trikoma seeds 03/08 Put for germ 04/08 Germinated and put into the growpot! 05/08 The sprouts are here! 06/08 A day off! 07/08 Growing bigger. The stem is getting long if you ask me, but tolerable 08/08 Nothing special here 09/08 Going strong. The leafs are eating well and grow big. 13/08 Had to go out from the city and nobody really took care of the plants. However, they look good enough after my time being off, although Eleven Roses look a bit curled and twisted, AK74 feels fine. 14-16/08 The plants getting bigger, thought I was still adjusting the setup and sometime the temperature was around 30C 16-18/08 Adjusting setup, feeding with RHIZOTONIC and starting vegetation here.

Hi everyone 😁 Welcome back in another week update! Thank you all for this amazing support on this bananas journey💚💚💚 Uploading and updating each week content on daily bassis so please revisit this diary if week not over yet. So far all going great. Girls looking very healthy and happy. Due to my short trip had to leave my 🍌💜👊 girls unsupervised for 3 days. Was stunned when opened my cabinet on the Dec 5th. Athena stretched like crazy. Good 3 inches. She better slow down as not much roof space left for her. May tie some taller branches to netting if necessary. Introducing blooming nutes for the first time this week on December 6th at smaller dosage and on the second watering as listed. Week 8 Dec 4 - Dec 10 Dec 5 Leaves tucking Dec 6 Heavier selective defoliation on both girls. Athena fully lolipopped and Xena at 75%. Watered with 8 ltr beetwen both with perfect runoofs PH 6.4. Girls were very thirsty 🤤 Dec 7-8 Just enjoying how my girls developing. Frost has landed and they are start showing colours. All is looking great. Dec 9 Second watering for this week 7 ltr beetwen both. Runoffs PH 6.4 Even with so much difrence in size of my 🍌💜👊 girls it seems that they are drinking my juice almost equally. Dec 10 Applied selective defoliation and tied 3 tallest branches of Athena to netting to avoid any potential burns on these beautiful baby colas. It's the end of the week! Thank you all again for such a great support, all the likes, dm's, comments and follows 💚💜💚💜 Stay tuned for coming week update 😁✌️💚

On day 20 of flower I’ve decided to do a big defoliation to reduce the humidity and make sure all the budsites get enough light. Never did a big defoliation like this but always wanted to try it to see if it’s something for my growing method or not. PH is on the low side currently, started on 6.3 with 1.75EC six days ago but the ladies are drinking more water than nutrients so each day the PH drops and the EC rises a bit. Will do a complete refresh when it drops to 5.2 Smell is really great and my gloves were already reallu sticky after defoliation round.

So im a bit too late with this week. Had a busy weekend. My Plant, called Marie, is in flower day 3 now and my god I never had a plant stretching so intense. In her 3 days of 12/12 she stretched about 10 cm. She's kinda tall and i f*cking love her structure. She had trouble with too much nutrients (my fault)but she recover nicely after pure water feeding for about a week. Lets start to see her fatten' up🍁🙏
