🌱💚 Week 4 – Pineapple Slush XL Auto 🍍❄️ | DWC Hydro Adventure!
Another fantastic week with this beauty from Sweet Seeds! 😁✌️
This week we introduced some gentle LST, tying down the branches to encourage a wider, more even canopy. Also did some selective defoliation to open things up and improve light penetration and airflow. And WOW, she’s responding beautifully! 🌿🔥
Growth has been amazing, the pH has been stable, and she’s drinking and feeding exactly as she should! Couldn’t be happier with how she’s developing so far. 🙏
This is only my 4th hydro grow, so I’m definitely still learning the ropes, but this Pineapple Slush XL Auto has been an absolute dream! Hopefully she’ll continue thriving as we approach the flowering stage, which I believe is just around the corner! 🌸🍍

🫧 Oxygen Upgrade – More Bubbles for the Rootsies!
I also decided to upgrade the aeration setup this week! Picked up some new air stones and a Hygger air pump delivering approximately 550 L/h, which is now running alongside my existing Spider Farmer air pump.
The original setup was intended to supply four DWC pots, but I’m now running all those air stones in just TWO reservoirs! 😂💨
No idea yet how much difference the additional aeration will actually make, but the goal is to keep those roots surrounded by plenty of oxygen-rich water and hopefully encourage an even healthier root system! 🫧🌱
The roots are developing nicely, the plant is looking fantastic, and everything seems to be moving in the right direction!
Still a beginner wirth hydro still experimenting, and learning something new every single week. That’s what makes growing in hydro so exciting!
Next stop: FLOWERING! 🌸🚀

At day 20 I switched to flowering and sent my light schedule to 12/12 hours of light/darkness, therefore this is the first week of flowering now. I know that these plants from seeds are still to immature to switch to flowering directly, but they will grow slower with 12/12 until they are old enough to flower. This should happen when they are appr. 4 weeks old from germination, then they will be mature enough to be able to flower. I do this, because the Growfor.Life-Closet is limited in its heigth and I want compact and short plants at the end, so i can keep a minimum distance to the LED-lights from SANlight, which are built into the closet. The minimum distance should be appr. 25 cm from the canopy. At Day 25 the biggest three plants (=Double Dutch from Serious Seeds and OG-Kush from Humboldt-Seeds) have grown so many leaves that they start to touch each other and condensed water is building up between them, the plants seem to sweat. This means I have to defoliate the plants again in order to get a better airflow and also to let the light penetrate deeper into the canopy. You can see a video-tutorial for defoliation I made on Day 25. The scissors I use in the video came WITH the closet, they have a special anti-sticky coating and work like a TREAT! During the defoliation I recognize that one sidebranch of a Double Dutch plant is TRIFOLIATE (see in pics!), this means each node grows three instead of two leaves and sidebranches out of it. That is a rare occurrence in cannabis and can be seen like finding a 4-leafed clover. Although this should mean good luck, I also realize more and more fungus gnats flying around and put some sticky yellow strips (=sticky traps for insects) inside the closet. The plants also seem to get a little bit lighter in their green color in general, therefore I decide to start adding nutrients (=PLAGRON-TERRA-BLOOM) to my waterings now. All in all the plants grow like hell (the biggest one is appr. 30 cm tall at the end of week4) and develop excellently...I LOVE THE EXPERIENCE WITH MY GROWFOR.LIFE-CLOSET until now!

Sie haben eigentlich alle Veränderungen durch den Umzug gut weggesteckt und sind schon ein ganzes Stück gewachsen. Ich habe sie diese Woche einmal mit dem „Wurzeldünger“ gegossen und heute mit Mycotrex ziemlich tief in 8L Stofftöpfe umgetopft, weil Sie mir am Anfang gespargelt sind. Mit dem Aussehen der Wurzeln bin ich auch sehr zufrieden. Insgesamt geben meine Ladies auf jeden Fall Gas.

Come quelle indoor anche queste stanno maturando diversamente, infatti una a gia i fiori belli formati mentre l'altra sta iniziando ora a prefiorire, sicuramente tta qualche settimana raccolgo quella di sinistra.. e per quella di destra se ne parlerà a otto

6/15/2021 Girls looking nice, I'm planning on vegging for this week and depending on growth scroging and switching to flower by week 6. Mazar looks a bit behind, all because that starting hinder from having a cotiledon break.

Hubo muchos cambios, no pude asegurar las hojas y se terminaron marchitando la mayoría, ahora creo yo que esta recuperándose, espero que sea este el caso. Solo estuve regando con agua y nada mas, me da lastima todo lo que le paso, tan bien que iba, y ahora le paso de todo, por otro lado se ven bien los cogollos, no tan desarrollados como me gustaría pero creo que en estas semanas van a mejorar.

Bad weather, little direct sunlight, steched a bit, took a while to recover from topping but looking nice. Began LST, took out some fan leaves to give space to lower branches.
Began pre flowering also.

Uped lights to 30000 lux today added some mosquito bits as a few fungus gnats have been flying around, should be topping Gelato #1 soon its been really shooting ahead.

This week we switched both the bloom and veg lights on and that increased the heat in the tent drastically. The increase in light seems to be beneficial as they are growing a bunch daily. Started nutrients on Wednesday Apr 14
