This week I performed a good defoliation to clean up the canopy and improve light penetration and airflow. I also added a second scrog net to help support and organize the branches as the plant continues developing in flower. On the positive side, I haven’t seen any more signs of the thrips since the treatment, so hopefully the issue is under control now 🌱💪

July 26: Mimosa Shot has mostly caught up to the other plant in the wagon and they are now the same height. Did a fourth lazy compost tea. See video explaining how I make it using things like blackstrap molasses and Epsom salts both of which are cheap and easy to find at the grocery store. July 29: nice and sunny today. Plants look great. July 31: defoliated inner fan leaves and small lower buds. This ‘lollipopping’ saves the plant from wasting effort on small buds that aren’t going to amount to anything. Also improves air flow and maximizes sunlight on the remaining buds. Added a round of Gaia Green seaweed extract when watering (label says once every two weeks). Aug 1: Plant is showing red petioles and there is a blue-ish tint to the leaves both of which are signs of P deficiency. Added another round of 50/50 malted barley and Power Bloom as top dressing.

Zwei der Ladys habe eine Dürre Phase bekommen, nur leider war das nicht beabsichtigt. Sie haben es bis hier hin überlebt und haben sich auch wieder erholt, ich hoffe sie werden noch einigermaßen performen, die anderen 4 sehen super aus. Heute haben wir umgestellt aus 12/12 und Lollipopping angewendet und sind dabei nicht zaghaft gewesen. Wir sind gespannt was sie noch an Stretch hinlegen. Two of the ladies experienced a dry spell, unfortunately that wasn't the intention. They survived it this far and have recovered, I hope they'll still perform reasonably well; the other four look great. Today we switched to 12/12 did some lollipopping, and we weren't too timid about it. We're excited to see how much stretch they'll achieve.

not sure where the dry weight thing went but i dont fill in wet weight. who even weighs there whole plant? dry yield is 269gram of pure bud. Grown in a 22liter pot with biobizz lightmix soil and greenhousefeeding bio line this smells so hard that my neigbor called the cops. she even smelled it in her apartment so its game over for me because off this plant. never came across such a weed smelling strain in the 8 years that im growing. hope to be back in 6 months or so.

1 - 2 week left before Harvest!! Smells like Grape and Blueberry if anyone's had blueberry hash they would understand what I'm smelling .Not A Huge yield but quality should be !

Ich bin recht zufrieden mit der Entwicklung, größenmäßig sind nur ein paar cm dazu gekommen aber die Blüten machen sich, ganz OK. ich werde aber langsam ungeduldig und fiebere der Ernte entgegen. Das Wetter bleibt wechselhaft bis schlecht! So langsam bessert sich das Wetter. Leider habe ich einen massiven Befall von Trauermücken, Nematoden sind auf dem Weg. Der Sommer ist nach Deutschland zurück gekehrt und das freut nicht nur mich sondern auch die Ladys😎

Total days above ground: 63 Total flower nights: 24 Just beyond 3 weeks into flower and the plants are showing their potential. The Mountaintop Mint has made great strides but is still a lanky bitch. I had to HST every branch, and may need to bend a couple more down before vegetative growth abates. Not a fan of this growth pattern and still unhappy about 2 out of 9 seeds providing a viable outcome. The bright side is that yield should be fine given the plethora of bud sites. Despite being difficult to grow next to other plants, I feel much better about its prospective outcome than I did just 1 week ago. That whole "crazy shit can happen in flower" thing rings true, again. Overall the canopy has filled in nicely. I have a couple spots where light is wasted and I'll make some adjustments to the process to fix that for future grows. Now that I've settled on plant size and number of plants, improvements can be made each cycle until it's clockwork. I like the 12-cola vs 8 cola experiement. I've got a fairly long list of edits to make to various sections of my "bible," which means I liked the outcomes of most of my incremental adjustments. Continual, systematic improvement in action... One other incremental change on the docket but not yet realized will be dropping nutrient concnetration once vegetative growth ends. Exact timing will be based on what I see in the foliage. I see some minor tip curl and its a bit darker than I want. So, it may come sooner than later. This'll be something I tweak over the next few grow cycles until I'm happy with the late-flower health. I'll drop fertilizer concentration 10-15% on next refill and see how that plays out. It'll take a couple refills of reservoir to near 100% transition without draining it. If necessary, I'll drain and do a full refill for more pressing needs. A rez scrub before final stretch is coming, regardless. Side note: The impacts of VPD can be enormous. Last year (2025-2 diary) I had a humidifier wick get fouled and RH dropped while VPD spiked for more than a few days, thinking I could power through or that the canopy would soon provide more moisture. Nope, growth stalled in a significant way. By comparing day 34-42-49 of 2025-2 and day 38-42-49 of this diary, I can see a huge difference in growth at same point above ground. The consitency with which i do things makes it fairly certain it's the extende period with extremely high VPDs that caused the difference. Also, interesting that it mostly catches back up by completion of third week of flower. The size difference is nearly undone by this point, though 2025-2 took 4 days longer vege phase to get there. Even so, I still think this grow is more than 4 days ahead of 2025-2 (the difference in vegetative phae duration). Time will tell if the development is ahead of the pace in 2025-2 or whether it's simply mostly an offset due to a less efficient vege phase for 2025-2.

Ice bomb is looking great, and smells great. I'm gonna add some orange essential oil to flush water for first week. I raised light, I seen fox tailing starting so back off till ripening. She got a nice frost from the Unit Farm UF2000, and UF4000 lights. The plant is getting used to the new led. Some leaves are making wired turn but the pistils are lokimg great and I don't think the plant is suffering from change of light, but much rather love it!!

Day 79: Fertigated 10l Day 81: Hello growmies and welcome to week 12 for Poppy, the Purple OG Punch Auto from Super Sativa Seed Club. I have unfortunately failed in the competition due to it ending while I was moving house. 0 for 2 is not a good record, but then I am a newbie not an award winning grower so perhaps I should temper my expectations somewhat. Anyway, Poppy has stopped stretching and is swelling those tasty looking buds. No sign of any purple yet but I have my fingers crossed that I will wake up one day and she will be blue! Hah. I can't move the plants out of the tent now due to size and bud weight. So will do my best to make good in-tent photos.

It's seems that Athena finally stopped her stretch and hoping that Xena will follow her sister very soon. Buds are gaining weight and size rapidly. Lots of nice colours and tonnes of trichomes on those buds already. Week 10 Dec 18-24 Dec 18-19 Mainly observation. Xena is still stretching like crazy. both girls are developing beautifully. Dec 20 First watering for this week. 7.5 ltr beetwen both. Runoffs PH's Athena 6.2 Xena 6.3. Dec 21 Due to lack of light at lower parts of conopy decided for another selective defoliation, lowered a bit tallest branches with colas dangerously close to light by tieing them to netting. Couple cm will make a huge difference here. Could not clear well at the back wall of the cabinet due to limited access.I'm very happy with final result. Dec 22-23 Joyful observation of my 🍌💜👊girls development 🧑‍🌾 Dec 24 All is looking great. It's seems that stretch is finally stopped. Girls looking healthy and happy. This week she grew 23cm taller! I have been doing experiments through the week FIMing various upper growth sites. We will see what effects this will have in the weeks to come.. I've also been seeing upper leaf tips going a very light green. Is it nutrient burn? Light burn?
