For the germination process I ,First put the seeds in distilled water ph 6.5 for 24 hours . Let them float for the first 12 hours in a warm (dark) place . I used my grow tent temperature inside was 75 degrees and 50%humidity through out the entire process . After first 12 hours I poked the seed to the bottom of the cup and let them set for the finale 12 hours . After the full 24 hours was up . I placed the seed’s on a plate with paper towel first and second I added water to the paper towel (moist not wet) and placed a seeds on top with another moist paper towel and let go back in the tent for 2 more days After two days the tap roots appeared for each seed so I potted 2-3 into there finale medium . Didn’t have enough soil for all 3. Once potted. Plants 🌱 are given 18 hours of light 💡

- To be Continued -

In the second week of the 12/12 cycle i've encountered no issues. I've did some more pruning and underneath the screen I've removed pretty much every leaf. I gave them tapwater with Plagron nutrients once this week. Rest of the week they received 1000 ml ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.48 – ph 6.1) each every other day. The cobs stayed at the same height(40 cm/15.7 inch) and power (208 watt) as last week ended (DLI 30.2 – PPFD 699) On day 48 (6th day of this week) I raised the power to 240 watt at a distance of 46 cm/18.1 inch, giving a DLI of 32.4 – PPFD 750 I've sprayed them for one last time with a CannaCure solution (30 ml CannaCure + 150 ml tapwater – ph 6) Temperatures stayed between 20.4 – 25.7 °C (68.7 – 78.2 °F) and humidity levels between 47 – 65 % That's it for this week, up to the next 1! ✋ Do you want to grow this strain? 👉 https://www.barneysfarm.us/pineapple-chunk-weed-strain-15 👈

It was an easy harvest as the colas developed nicely. Hardly any popcorn nugs and very little sugar leaves. If the weather had allowed it, I think she could have grown even bigger, but I'm more than happy with the outcome!

🌱 Sour Diesel — Week 7 From Seed (Week 2 Flower) Quick Recap (for context) This Sour Diesel has had a tougher road compared to the rest of the room. Earlier in the cycle, she was hit by a combination of: • Colder external temperatures • Environmental instability during early development • Slower initial adaptation compared to her sisters She never fully enjoyed the colder phase, and recovery has been slow but steady, not explosive. This update reflects a plant that is stabilizing, not one that is racing. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Day temperature: ~28 °C (successfully raised and now stable) • Humidity: ~65% • PPFD: ~600–850 (depending on height and position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm (now stabilizing around ~909 ppm) As outside temperatures remained low, the room naturally became its own heat source due to: • Increased plant mass • Higher light intensity • Addition of under-canopy lighting No forced heaters. No extremes. Just letting the system balance itself naturally. 🌬️ Airflow • Vortex extraction • Multiple cross-flow fans • Constant, gentle air movement No leaf chaos — just steady motion. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks a clear transition phase. • EC: ~2.4 • pH: 6.5 (now transitioning downward — all feeds moving toward 6.0+) Why a Slightly Higher pH Right Now? As plants enter early flower, demand shifts: • Improved Ca / Mg uptake • Stronger P & K availability • Increased root activity A slightly higher pH during this moment supports: • Structural development • Flower initiation • Stability under higher PPFD and CO₂ Nutrient Transition • Terra Grow → flowering nutrients • Supporting the hormonal shift from stretch → stack • Minor signs of possible Ca/Mg demand observed → already being addressed → nothing severe or alarming (Reference images included above for transparency.) ⸻ 🌸 Flowering Progress & Current State She is flowering — slowly, which is expected after stress. Important clarification: • Week 7 from seed • Week 2 of flower This slower pace is not a failure — it’s a recovery-driven transition. She’s prioritizing balance before expression. Leaves are not “happy” in the Instagram sense, but they are: • Responsive • Stable • Not deteriorating That matters more right now. ⸻ 🌍 Seasonal Reality Outside conditions remain harsh: • Temperatures around 4–5 °C • Humidity consistently 90%+ • Full winter conditions The room itself is stable and dialed. The rest of the garden is thriving under these conditions. Because of that: • We are not changing the whole room for one plant • Instead, Sour Diesel receives extra attention and care • The environment remains optimal for the majority of the crop Adaptation goes both ways — plants and growers. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect (and What Not to) What we expect: • Continued stabilization • Gradual stacking over the coming weeks • Expression that comes late, not loud What we don’t expect: • Explosive stretch • Perfect symmetry • A “pretty” early flower phase This phase is critical because it determines: • Whether the plant commits energy to survival or production • How much it can realistically give later on Right now, the goal is completion, not competition. ⸻ 🙏 Closing Thanks Huge thanks to: • The genetics creators • The nutrient partners • The GrowDiaries platform for providing a space where growers can document, learn, and interact • The community — OGs, newcomers, supporters, skeptics, lovers, haters — all part of the journey Growing is adaptation. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art.

Day 41 up-potting not real crazy over root health, seems like I did a little better first run though I really fucked that one up, thinking about trying Dyna-Zyme & RAW Microbes Grow maybe. Run offs read: LSD #1 pH 5.6 PPM 1120 LSD #2 pH 5.7 PPM 1110 LSD #3 pH 5.6 PPM 1190 LSD #4 pH 5.6 PPM 1050 Gelato #1 pH 5.6 PPM 1090 Gelato #2 pH 5.6 PPM 1080 Watered straight with 10ml of KLN per gal solution pH about 6.8-7 Hoping the pH will normalize over time & these will be back on track. Seemed to perk back a bit today.

Two days after their first feeding, they are already looking healthier. Nr. 3 got lucky; and managed to stay rather unscathed :)
