💙 Project Blue Tent – Week 4 Blue Waffle F1 – Pheno A (Folder 13A) Welcome back everyone to another week inside Project Blue Tent! If this is your first visit, welcome aboard. This project is dedicated to exploring the incredible Blue Waffle F1 genetics from Zamnesia while putting the complete Zamnesia ecosystem through its paces. Rather than growing multiple plants as one crop, every phenotype is documented individually, allowing each one to tell its own story despite sharing the exact same environment, nutrients, lighting and care. Unlike our 8×8 Adventure, where different cultivars grow together, Project Blue Tent focuses on understanding every subtle difference between identical F1 genetics. Every week we watch these plants develop, compare their structures, and discover how each expresses its own unique personality. As we like to say... We are not just growing seeds—we are discovering individual personalities. Today, the spotlight once again belongs to Blue Waffle F1 – Plant A. ──────────────────────── 🌱 Week Four – Time to Shape the Future This week marked another important milestone for Plant A. Last week she was establishing her root system and settling comfortably into her new home. This week she rewarded us with vigorous vegetative growth, producing larger leaves, thicker stems and a noticeably fuller canopy. Although her colour remains a lighter green than I'd ultimately like to see, she continues showing excellent health. Her leaves remain turgid, the growth is vigorous, and every new node arrives neatly stacked with tight internodal spacing. Rather than showing signs of weakness, she's simply telling me she's ready for a little more nutrition. Sometimes the plants speak quietly. Our job is simply to listen before they have to shout. ──────────────────────── 🌡️ The Blue Tent Environment The environment remains one of the biggest strengths of this project. The Zamnesia ecosystem continues keeping everything remarkably stable, allowing me to focus less on chasing environmental fluctuations and more on observing the plants themselves. This week's average conditions were: • 🌡️ Day Temperature: 27°C • 🌙 Night Temperature: 27°C • 💧 Relative Humidity: 67% • ⚗️ pH: 5.8 • ⚡ EC: 1.88 mS/cm • 💨 CO₂: approximately 450 ppm • 💡 Light Schedule: 18/6 • ☀️ PPFD: approximately 350 The Phytonaut LED continues providing a beautifully even light distribution across the canopy while the Grow Environment Controller keeps the room running quietly and consistently day after day. Stable environments make it much easier to understand what the plants are actually telling us. ──────────────────────── 🥥 Feeding Update One of the biggest observations this week came from the feeding program. The slightly lighter leaf colour we noticed last week remained present, so rather than waiting for a true deficiency to develop, I decided to make another small adjustment. Hydro A and Hydro B have both been increased to 1.8 ml/L, while Hydro Roots remains unchanged. The goal isn't simply to feed more—it's to provide enough nitrogen and overall nutrition for the plants to return to the rich green colour I'm aiming for while maintaining steady, healthy growth. Another small addition this week was Plagron pH Min. Not because the nutrient solution was unstable—quite the opposite. One thing that has genuinely impressed me with the Plagron Hydro line is just how stable the reservoir remains after mixing. Once everything is dialled in, the pH barely drifts throughout the week, often requiring nothing more than the smallest correction here and there to keep it exactly where I want it. Coming from years of growing in living soil, that's been a pleasant surprise. It makes reservoir management much simpler and allows me to spend more time observing the plants instead of constantly adjusting the solution. Sometimes the best equipment is the equipment you hardly need to think about. ──────────────────────── ✂️ This Week's Lesson – Why I Top My Plants This week was also the perfect moment to introduce one of the most important training techniques I'll be using throughout this grow. Plant A received her first topping. Unlike Low Stress Training (LST), topping is considered High Stress Training (HST) because we're deliberately removing the plant's main growing tip. It's not something I recommend doing on struggling plants. Before topping, I want to see healthy roots, active growth, and a plant that's clearly recovering quickly from everyday development. Although the colour is still a little lighter than I'd prefer, her overall health and vigour made her an excellent candidate. Some growers prefer topping above the second or third node. Personally, I like allowing the plants a little more time to build structure before making that cut. By waiting slightly longer, I'm able to preserve more branches that will later become valuable flowering sites once the SCROG net is installed. My goal isn't simply to create two tops—it's to build a wider, stronger framework that will eventually fill the entire screen with evenly developed colas. Today's cut is an investment in the canopy we'll enjoy several weeks from now. For the job I used the Zamnesia Pruning Scissors, making a clean, precise cut with minimal damage to the surrounding tissue. A sharp, clean cut helps the plant recover quickly while reducing unnecessary stress. Now the race begins. Instead of one dominant leader, several branches will compete for the top position, creating a much more even canopy ready for future training. ──────────────────────── 🌿 Plant A Herself Every week her personality becomes a little clearer. She continues growing in a compact, organised manner, producing broad leaves and beautifully symmetrical branching. The stems continue developing subtle purple pigmentation, while the main trunk is noticeably thickening as she prepares for the next stage of growth. After topping, I expect that energy will now be redirected into the lateral branches, encouraging the wider structure I'm aiming for before introducing the SCROG. She's beginning to look less like a young seedling and more like a plant with a plan. ──────────────────────── 👀 Looking Ahead Next week will be all about recovery and redistribution. Rather than expecting explosive vertical growth immediately after topping, I'll be watching how quickly the side branches respond and begin competing for dominance. If everything goes according to plan, the canopy should begin opening naturally, creating the perfect foundation for the SCROG that will arrive later in vegetative growth. We'll also be paying close attention to the new feeding strength, watching for that richer green colour as the increased nutrition begins to take effect. Sometimes the biggest progress isn't measured in centimetres. Sometimes it's measured in balance. ──────────────────────── 💙 Thank You A huge thank you to Zamnesia for making Project Blue Tent possible—from these outstanding Blue Waffle F1 genetics to the complete ecosystem surrounding this grow. Every week the equipment continues proving that it was designed by growers who understand what happens inside a real grow room. A massive thank you as well to Plagron for providing the Premium Growbags and the Hydro nutrient line. The stability of the reservoir and the consistency of the feeding program have made this transition into coco an incredibly enjoyable learning experience. Thank you to GrowDiaries for giving growers around the world a place to document, learn, share experiences and continue improving together. And finally... Thank you to every single person following this journey. Whether you've been here since the very beginning, recently joined the adventure, leave comments every week, quietly follow along, or even challenge my methods from time to time—you all help make this community stronger. Every conversation, every question and every shared experience teaches us something new. I truly appreciate every one of you. I hope you're all having an amazing week, and I can't wait to show you how Plant A responds to her first topping in the next update. Until then... Growers Love, happy growing, and I'll see you all next week 💙💙💙

Hello growmies! Welcome to week seven of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! I have just completed the final defoliation for the three least advanced (and largest) girls. I have also rearranged the tent again to try to maximize the space available and light usage. I have not fertigated for 5 days after the last fertigation was a flush without coco base. I am struggling with humidity at the moment so I have been trying to let the plants go more dry than usual. Daily Updates ### Week 7 Day 2 02:30 7/8 Heavily defoliated plants 1, 5 & 6 and removed some of the lower branches. Rearranged tent then photographed & measured: Plant 1 is now almost unbelievably 2nd tallest at "only" 141cm in height! Her stretch has just about ended. Plant 2 has stopped stretching at 111cm and is 2nd most advanced into flower. Plant 3 has stopped stretching at 95cm and is most advanced into flower. Plant 4 has stopped stretching at 100cm and is 3rd most advanced into flower. Plant 5 has gained 6cm this week and may add few more but she is pretty close to done stretching at 119cm. Plant 6 has gained 22cm this week and isn't quite finished. She is now the tallest plant in the series at 142cm. ### Week 7 Day 2 07:00 7/8 Fertigated 1.6l each ### Week 7 Day 4 02:00 9/8 Fertigated 1.6l each reduced coco a/b to 2m/l each. Spent a bit more time photographing and videoing to try and capture the changes and the developmental differences. These 140cm+ plants are going to STACK. I am bracing myself for a lot of trimming and a monster harvest. 🙏 The current order of maturity and likely order of harvest is 3 2 4 1 5 6. I think the first and last plants will be at least a week apart in harvest, perhaps 2 or 3. ### Week 7 Day 6 23:00 11/8 Fertigated 1.6l each The smell in the tent is there now, really not that strong but there are 6 plants motoring through flower here now so it's not insignificant either. Plant 3 is absolutely stacking now, she's more or less run out of space around her cola and is now growing some foxtail like structures, exciting! Plant 6 the least mature is 2-3 weeks behind plant 3, but her stretch has finally stopped at 144cm. Took wide angle in tent photos today. All of the girls are drinking a lot now, but especially plant 1 who is really thirsty. --- Thanks for reading growmies! 👊 ========== Tent: 120cm x 120cm x 180cm Light: 600w HID Elite Dual Spectrum HPS + Angel Wing Reflector Air: 5" duct fan system with carbon filter ~300 m3/hour + RAM 9" floor fan + 4" intake fan Pots: Air Pruner Fabric Pots 30l - UGro XL Coco + horticultural grade perlite (~20%) Seeds supplied by Royal Queen Seeds https://www.royalqueenseeds.com Nutrients supplied by Shogun Fertilisers https://www.shogunfertilisers.com/en ==========

So this week after I gave it under nutrients I apparently gave it too much nitrogen while having a potassium deficiency. Shiney dark leaves, So i fixed that, but some didn't bounce back, and I tried nitrogen. I think they are doing pretty good considering everything I've put them through SO FAR. lol. Nutrients are NPK Raw's total lineup, follow their instructions at first, Fastbuds adjustments as of this week.

Week 4 – Vegetative Stage – Mango Kush (Zamnesia Seeds) Grower: Dog Doctor Strain: Mango Kush Breeder: Zamnesia Seeds Tent: 8x8 Shared Environment Environment Control: • TrolMaster Ecosystem (Model One LED by ThinkGrow) • Future Of Grow Ecosystem (Black Series 600W) Watering: Hand-fed Nutrient Line: Aptus Holland (unchanged recipe) ⸻ 🌱 Two Paths, One Queen’s Blood This week marks a defining moment in the journey of our two Mango Kush phenotypes—Pheno #1 and Pheno #2—both sharing the same genetics, but taking very different roads toward flower. ⸻ 👑 Mango Kush #1 – The Trailblazer She’s taken the lead and she knows it. Currently at her 8th or 9th node, she’s branching out beautifully, vigor, symmetry, structure. This girl is showing early signs of dominance, with a wide frame and a hunger for light. Her architecture screams “future canopy queen.” 📸 We took her to the photo studio again this week and wow. She’s a natural in front of the lens. Her structure is clean, confident, and glowing under the full-spectrum light. ⸻ 🌱 Mango Kush #2 – The Rising Sister Much younger, but full of potential. Currently pushing her 4th pair of leaves, this one was a late germination and is only about 2.5 weeks old since she popped above soil. Despite her smaller size, there’s something familiar about her. Her leaf shape and structure closely mimic Mango #1 during her early days, tight internodes, round fans, calm posture. Genetics run strong here. We’re keeping her in veg for as long as possible, but next week we’re flipping everything to flower, which means she’ll start blooming early. It’s not ideal, but it’s necessary, as the older girls (Mango #1, the Lava Cake and the rest of the sisters) are growing fast and space must be balanced. ⸻ 💧 Nutrients – No Change, Still Precision We’re keeping the Aptus Holland formula exactly as it is for this week. The girls are loving it, and there’s no sign of deficiency or excess. Here’s what they’re still getting in each liter: • Regulator – 0.15 ml: Structure, resilience, and stress defense • CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml: Building the skeleton • 💧 All-In-One Liquid – 1 ml: A steady and complete base • 🌱 Start Booster – 0.25 ml: For root expansion and early shoot development This balanced, light recipe keeps things clean and focused, supporting both the rapid growth of Mango #1 and the early development of Mango #2. ⸻ 🌡️ Lights, Climate, & Ecosystem Balance Both Mango Kush plants are thriving under dual full-spectrum LEDs: • TrolMaster ecosystem running the ThinkGrow Model One LED • Future of Grow ecosystem running the Black Series 600W Each system is tuned to maintain optimal light intensity for its space and phase. Climate conditions are steady thanks to active airflow, dual controllers, and filtered intake/exhaust setups. 💨 Carbon filters from TrolMaster and Spider Farmer keep the air clean and pure, even though we haven’t reached flower yet, clean air is good air, and early filtering helps prevent environmental noise and pathogens. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect… and What Not To What to expect: • Mango #1 will likely dominate flower structure, showing her potential early • Mango #2 may surprise us with a compact, denser canopy due to earlier light flip • Structural differences will emerge—same genetics, but different timelines = different expressions • Visual comparisons will help us understand Mango Kush’s phenotypic range What not to expect: • Uniform results—they’re the same strain, but on very different developmental clocks • Aggressive training—due to the timeline, we’re letting them grow mostly unmanipulated ⸻ 📣 Final Words – Community & Curiosity We thank you all for reading, growing, and following this journey with us. ✨ Every grow is a conversation between light, root, leaf, and time. And we’re sharing it all. ⸻ With light, love, and the rhythm of two sisters in sync but not the same, Dog Doctor 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Nothing much going on here. No LST. Didn’t really takeoff many new leaves. I didn’t check up on the plants for a whole 24 hours. I didn’t notice when I last watered that I had missed a plant as you see in the first video. It went back up in about 6 hours like nothing ever happened to her. When growing many plants it’s very easy to forget to water one or two. That’s why it’s important to water all single file from row to row , starting from the top plant to the bottom plant, all the way though the last sections. Learned the hard way lol
