Week 5 with the 40L pots and first week of flowering. The plants filmed at the end they where from a diffrent tent but i put them inside my big tent to finish their flower period, they where grown in 11L pots whole veg & flower period. The main grow that this post is about are 40L pots. I just had to show the buds in the 11L pots ;)

This is an easy strain to grow. I didn't have to use any LST. I am just waiting on some amber trichomes and I will chop.

Ginger nut cookies and Aussie Music Videos update 20th Feb 2020 On Monday just past, I started to leave this plant out at night thus reducing light hours to the same as a regular outdoors Plant. This should induce flowering as all my other Photoperiod dependent strains are now in Flowering mode. Thru the use of Topping and LST training I have managed to create lots of potential bud sites for this plant to develop into lovely sticky and stinky Buds. Later on today I will do some more LST & As soon as I see pistils developing I will begin to add P+K to the soil by using Guano , Mollasses , Liquid potash, comfrey teas ,Compost teas and Worm castings. The smell of the stems is increasing in strength and has a blend of Red diesel stink mixed with cookies dankness. 😛 Now for the Weekly Music Videos yes I say videos because there will be three 🙏 Last week I chose The Divinyls but this week I thought I would do something different and ask the People what they wanted to hear. Day 7 i I transplanted the seedlings in jiffy’s to the DWC basket water level was “just” touching the bottom of the basket which meant there was 1mm- 2mm air gap between the water level and the jiffy’s. The high pressured air in the water to spit when air was released at the top which kept the bottom of the jiffy moist which had minimal roots showing to the exterior of it. Day 7-13 I originally had 7.5 litres of water that was to the bottom of the basket. I replaced the water on the 13th which meant the water was changed after 6 days at such an early stage I will regularly change the water in the buckets. You can change every 7-14days but I am taking no chances. I refilled and added nutrients on Day 13 which was yesterday. And the plants are doing really well and are a nice VEG green colour. Hard to tell on the pictures with the light colour but you can see their progress. When I replaced the water this week I put 6.5L of water in each bucket With nutrients PH’d as close to 5.8 as possible. Some varied from 5.72 - 5.9. I have noted these on each bucket so that I can check if one does better than the others or shows deformities or stress I can amend it to match the others but hopefully not in such a close proximity of 5.8ph with an EC of 700+- The roots are now showing in every pot with the longest being some 6inches. The new Wakyme grow light is top notch so far with VEG button on only. Anyone contemplating buying one it cost me £99.00 from amazon and so far is performing just how I would like. Humidity has been taken care of with a cold air intake fan which is pulled from another area of the building of a cooler environment. Temperatures are spot on where I want them but I do allow a 2degree +- allowance but it does change back to its original temperature quickly enough. 5 more speed bud germinated and 2peyote critical feminised photoperiod germinated. Crystal candy XL auto ordered x10 Gorilla glue, Pineapple Express and Cali Kush waiting in the wings. I have these already If I can be anymore help to anyone let me know. Got bud rot. It was foggy and raining second last week before chop….and not gonna lie, prolly cuz it was sitting under the carbon filter. I haven’t changed or washed the pre-filter in a year, just a light tap and I can see dust flying everywhere. Prolly tossed 1/3lb into garbage. Harvested prolly 1/2lb of tops and mids. And threw all the larf into the freezer for bubble hash. Will update in a few weeks after cure. This was a fun run. Mars Hydro for the win!

Started week four with a top dressing of rabbit guano. Growth is very good in my opinion. The lst has produced lots of new stems❤️Used some wooden skewers to open up the plant to the light.

This girl is looking good, couple more weeks and we are good to go 😎

07/10 Still alive, might have some problem with spidermites despite the neem oil and potassic soap spraying. Starting to be frosty let's see in a couple of weeks.

Well this week is progressing well. My time lapse star is the runt of the litter, but is still doing well. All my girls are doing well again, and I think I have the watering schedule dialed in a little better this time around. Of course I will be watching it closely this time. Had an issue with the time lapse stopping if there was a power fluctuation, so I put in new batteries, and have unplugged the usb cable as aux power, so hopefully we get a full week of lapse next week. I also think I have the temps dialed in and the room is keeping a good temp and humidity.

My plants are going too yellow, now i pull back on the nutrients. I just gave them Water last feeding and will see how it will continue, They still need 2-3 weeks, Smell is getting stronger starting this week and they are a bit "snowing"

Week 4 for these girls. They've doubled in some since last week. I took a couple of the bigger fan leafs off this week, also raised my lights up allowing some stretch. Starting to see some preflowers and pistols. So next week will be off to the flower stage. Happy Growing

It was easy to harvest she was very small jut cut it quickly without stalks the wet weight is 17 g of the buds, nicely coated with THC and it was approx 70% milky and 40% amber trichomes. Hopefully good time to be harvested. This site has changed can not update and edit the comment section. The smoke is nice it is kind of relax and strong high. Not the best but not bad at all. I like it.

Decided to harvest at 10-12% amber. Running out of time and needed to chop her down. Pretty sure I slowed her down from a heavy defol. She was supposed to be done on day 65 based on breeders notes. She took considerably longer for me so the heavy defol is the only thing I can think of. She has sweet gas and grape terp. Very nice heavy dense buds but not as large as I was hoping. Despite the bud size I think it will be some good smoke. I’ll update with dried and cured bud pics. Buds are very dense after dry and cure!
