Earlier in the week, I saw a discolored bud, and upon closer inspection, I found bud rot. Ugh. I immediately cut off the infected bud and the one closest to it. I looked through the canopy but couldn't see any more affected buds. Right after, I went out of town for a few days to Mary Jane, the big Cannabis Conference in Berlin. It was the first one after legalization, and it was wild. I had an awesome time, and it was great to meet up with friends while in Berlin. What wasn't so great was seeing more signs of budrot when I returned home—those days of +85% humidity at the start of last week made the botrytis go brr. Sigh :( Checking the trichomes showed it was still early to harvest, but I decided to chop anyway to save the unaffected buds. I also decided to hang each branch separately, as it would allow me to inspect each one closely to ensure no affected buds made it into the drying tent. Another reason is to decrease the drying time. Usually, I prefer a long dry, but due to botrytis, I aim to speed up the process. Overall, I found 12-15 affected buds, and of course, they're always the nicest-looking buds. I don't care about the yield loss, as more than enough is still left. I only hope the remaining buds are unaffected, and I'll inspect them daily throughout the dry. Now we wait. And hope.

WELL LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!! My beautiful KOSHER KUSH #1 is already being flushed and will be chopped this weekend!! All these amazing colors are just starting to devour the plants with yellows purples and oranges inching closer and closer to harvest!! I will only be growing TOP SHELF FLOWER for my local dispensary after they reached out to me and pre ordered all of it!! I’m using some flawless finish on a couple of the feedings for flush and the other plants are still on a steady dose of flora bloom/ micro , terpinator , and cha Ching .. after a couple more feedings I’ll start flushing the rest of the girls and making sure no more nutrients is left in those pretty buds!! Grow diary 11 stage 9 Day 81 to 90 This west coast o.g has grown beyond belief. Yet again she has shown that she is going into flower but she has done this twice already and just got bigger. I have been removing the other 3 strains out the tent as its been a massive compromise on the light height, it's been to far away from some plants and way to close to this one. I have even thrown a net over her to keep her down a bit. As of day 90 she is finally alone in the tent so I can lower the power slightly on the light as I don't have much more height left for it. Also from day 91 the light schedule will be on 16/8 to make sure she does continue flowering. Can't believe it's taking so long to be honest. Thanks for stopping by.
