Day 80 Harvesting was a bit of a trick with this one because I used to Trellis Nets but it went very smoothly no accidents and in the end I ended up with a staggeringly large amount of wet weight. My wet weights have a minimal amount of stock so that they more accurately represent the actual weight of the flower itself. In three days roughly I will be putting in the dry weight and then putting all the flowers into curing. welcome to Day 83 this will be my last update i have now done my final trim and got my dry weight 362.30 gram's !! off one plant. that's 12.77 ounce's i don't sell but my god if i didn't care about laws lol, For a plant thats no cured i will sat it tastes smooth AF and has a nice head high that i didn't really expect from her being that its not cured and didn't really look like she had tones of trichomes. In the second week the plant has now started to produce its first set of single bladed leafs.

Transplanted in the afternoon of 10/23 because they were rooting out of the pucks. Got some humidity dome cups coming tomorrow and another inline fan to handle intake to try to dial in things a bit more. Fugue State #2, in the black pot is still a bit shell shocked, hopefully it opens up soon. Well both #2 and #3 damped off / shell shocked to death, so there's just one left, c'est la vie. #1 is trucking along well and ready for week 2. Straw-Lectric Lemonade-STRNG Seed W13 F4 2/1-7 I am following the TPS1 feed schedule for 9-10 weeks, reducing the PPMs until they reach 850-950. 2/2 PPM 1001 Ph 6.6 68.7 2/5 PPM 934 Ph 6.5 67.4 Tps1 13ml/g Silica Gold 3ml/g CalMag 3ml/g Side by side you can see I usually get a tall and a short pheno when I grow 2 of the same strain. Both S-Lectric Lemonade and S-Trop Cherry are like this. The Cadillacs are both tall exceeding 6 feet: the super cropping held them at 52 inches. the pistils are already turning orange and visible to the eye. This Ladies were harvested at day 82, put in a tent to dry in whole and after drying put in a glass. dry trimmed them because of time issues some weeks later.

Cut out all the nitrogen from the Biogrow and Algamic nutes, the plants are well into the late stages of flower, expecting to be flushing later this the week, leaves are yellowing as the plants get to the end of their life, however the buds are getting to be a respectable size. I couldn't resist and had a pre-harvest taster, cut some of her bottom bud, dried and decarboxylated them in the oven, toked in my new 8" bong. Needless to say i was very happy with the results. Pleased with this strain alot so far. 12 /12 Administered the ladies a Molasses flush. 1 tsp Molasses, 8 ltrs filtered water, 2 ltrs per plant.

So this plant has been flowering for about 10-14 days. This Gaia green is super easy and as long as I dont get fungus gnats and the buds turn out well, it will be my new way of providing nutrients. I’m here to make my life easier. I love the fact that I get water, ph to a general range and pour in. I am starting a FastBuds Afghan Kush with Gaia green that will not have such a lax approach. Otherwise, this girl is just on cruise control. Water, Gaia green top dress when need and harvest when done. 👍🏻🌱👍🏻 Happy Growing 🌱

Would definitely recommend esp if you don't want to do nothing else. Because this strain will put you on the sofa making you do nothing else for the day. I smoke this after work and it sends me to sleep straight away I love it

BIG UPDATE THIS WEEK !!! ---------------------------------- FEEDING MISTAKE / TRANSPLANTING THE PLANT ------------------------------------------------------- Last week, the plant was showing some feeding issue (some burned tips). After discussing with another grower ( @Asnoriu ) and carefully listening his advices, I decided to transplant the queen to a bigger pot. 16L can be ok, but I had a long veg (10 weeks), and this was getting too small for the lady. So starting from now, I will always transplant before flowering, since I understood & learned how it help the plant to develop good roots network. The plant probably suffered from too much feeding with Fish-mix. Asnoriu told me He was using it at 50% of the recommend dose, and not at each watering. This totally make sense, especially when i look back at my first grow : I used no fish-mix during almost all the veg, and she grow verry well. My gardening soil was probably rich enough for my plants! I transplanted the plant to a bigger pot (16L -> 30L) and filled the new pot with Biobizz All-Mix soil. I took the plant from the old fabric pot like if it was a sock : what a niiiice and easy technic ! (Thanks again Asnoriu). Watered with pure water (ph at 6.2-6.5), without any nutrients (All-mix is already rich enough). I will feed again in 1-2 weeks. BIG ERROR WHEN APPLYING LST BACK IN THE NEW POT --------------------------------------------------------------- I had to remove my strings (LST) to switch to the new Pot. When I was applying the LST again in the new pot, I went too far with tension... And the main-lining broke 😟 So I fixed it verrry quickly by releasing LST tension, and using a string to tight the stem where it broke. In less than 5 minutes it was fixed. I was verry worried that it may have killed my queen.... But she didn't shown any sign of stunt, and 48h hours later, I can say that she look verry good. This doesn't slowed her. She seems to grow faster since transplant, so all good :) So, note to myself : never try to LST when flowering started, or only verry carefully, with just littles adjustements. Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. This is a lengthy diary but I hope that people can learn some stuff from my notes shall they read them! Thanks to everyone that followed the journey, showed support or just browsed through. 12 days to full transplantable roots. Right on schedule as expected. Moved 6 of the 12 clones (1 per plant) into a new 45L Rez that I cobbled together in an evening. Just small enough to fit into the cabinet. Hopefully the roots don’t choke each other out for territory while we work to reveg, re-flower and ultimately seed em all for the new F3 line. We’ll pick the best buds from the lot for the next testing run once we see what the pheno variation looks like from the main run in the tent. It’s a process and annoyance not to be yielding bud off a grow cycle but it is what it is if you want your own signature stuff. Alls good for now. Let’s just hope that the 6 coats of paint I threw on the lid is enough to keep out the grow light penetration🤞. Shoulda used black, whatever.

Well, finally some progress on the flower front, looks to be heading into week 3 give or take. Weather's been great, but cooler temps and rain are in store for this week. Did a preemptive diluted milk spray for PM while my Lab Serum is finishing, should be ready tomorrow. Did one last heavy defoliation, looking nice and clean. Have to say she looks absolutely gorgeous, healthy and vibrant. Should be well prepared for the upcoming rain and cold weather. May be pushing till mid October so fingers crossed! Did a heavy 70/30 top dress of Gaia Green PB/AP (20 Tbsp), though no noticeable nutrient deficiencies at all that I can see. Plan for the future is to just spray Lab Serum every few days between rainfall and hope mother nature's in my favor!

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2203 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/29- Here we go into Week One of Flower! It's been a month since these pretty ladies popped out of the ground and they're both looking perfect and have pistils popping out everywhere! Their fabric pots were still heavy when lifted, and they looked happy, so I skipped watering today and will check them tomorrow morning after the lights come on. Since being topped roughly a week ago, they have two new shoots that are emerging and looking extremely healthy with excellent vigor and have a beautiful healthy green color! The #1 is now at 7" tall and the #2 a bit taller at 8". 12/31- Today was a 'dry day and all I did was refill the humidifier and some canopy maintenance, tucking shade leaves and gently bending branches. It's been a little over four weeks since they were planted in their amended medium and it's time to give their microbes a good feed so they can continue to provide them with all the macro and micro nutrients they need so, yesterday they got a good watering with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with GreenGro's Veg, Flower, Green Aminos, Natures Brix and Granular Myco added to it @ 1.5 tsp/g and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 73℉. 01/02- Yesterday I watered them from the bottom with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCann cal-mag to prevent any Cal-Mag issues before they arrive. I also have the HLG 650R set 36" above canopy and it's set at 60% power which is being controlled by a Trolmaster HydroX controller. The tent environment is on point with temp's running 70 when the light's off and 74℉ with the light on. I'm keeping the RH at 55-60% right now but will drop it as flowering progresses. Finally, I've been keeping the VPD in the tent running 0.85 - 1.05 which I'm happy with! 01/04- They have both been doing really well getting watered every other day and yesterday they received 0.5g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner which was then ph'd to 6.3 @ 72℉. They're both doing fantastic but were really beginning to get choked up with growth so I went in and selectively removed a few shade leaves from both to get some light penetration down into their canopies to give that lower growth some much needed light. While I was doing that I also did a little more LST on both to also increase light penetration.
