Day 8 - First official day of veg and both ladies are right on time for a small adjustment in lighting, PH and nutrients. 10ml of Hydro A & Hydro B were added to both buckets (10L of water in each bucket) and the Milwaukee PH controller was set to work. Starting at a PH of around 7.8, it slowly worked down to a perfect 6.0 over about 50minutes. The lights were readjusted to be 60cm from the seedlings who are all between 8-10cm tall and the intensity of the lights increased to about 70% brightness. Day 9 - Cheech is taking nicely to the adjustment in light and nutrients, but CG 1 is looking a little bit too perky. Going to give her 24 hours to adjust. Day 10 - We have finally renamed CG 1. Fellow enthusiasts, meet Venezia. Day 12 - The root systems are clearly visible in the ladies today Day 13 - The ladies are looking well today. Venezia seems to be showing some light signs of heat stress with slight curling of the leaves. The lights are due to be adjusted tomorrow to account for the seedlings growth over the last week.

NEw lamp setup: I've purchased one that seems really good with 2 dimmers for both VEG and BLOOM lights. Very compact but powerful. Now I put bloom dimmer on 100% and veg dimmer on 80%. I'm not sure about the light time: the product sheet say 9-12/24 but now I'm 18/24. Now the res is stable on EC 1,6 and pH 6,1. She's drinking about 2 liters and more every day. Début de la première semaine de floraison le stretch etais vraiment facile à contrôler je dirai x2. Je passe en engrais de floraison.

9.7. Smell changed from a mix of orange and maracuja to a whole multi vitamin juice kind of flavor over night. Under the loupe I can spot the odd amberish trichome, maybe by mishandling , but most are milky or clear, still producing more fresh ones. 12.7. A bunch of trichomes developing an amber hue. Also the leaves are turning yellow now. Harvest Window is open now, wanna see some more amber, but not too much. Mainly hoping for thicker buds.

Vamos familia, actualizamos la primera semana de floración de estas Gelato 44 de RoyalQueenSeeds. La temperatura que estuvo entre los 24-26 grados y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos. Cambiamos esta semana el ciclo 12 horas luz, 12 oscuridad, estiraron bien y ensancharon bastante también, el color es verde sano. It's been a while, I know, but been too busy during this festives to keep the diary up... As you can see, my ladies suffered from plague. Damn spidermites! I've try to control them every day but they were too long in bloom to do something for this little creepers! So, after 11 week of bloom I've decided to cut them and wash the buds as in a video made by Mr.Cervantes seen on youtube, and made a video so that it can be useful. I've mix 120ml of H2O2 in 10Lts of water, washed the buds for a couple of minute, rinse'em and then hanging for a couple of hours with a fan that gently blowin on them. The result is in the photo. So, mates, this journey has ended, I've learned a lot of things during this real first indoor grow, and this also thanks to you and your hint. At the end of week 6 the buds are bulking up and the trichomes are going milky with red hairs pulling in will wait for more amber trichs before harvest which I anticipate around week 8-10.

day 51: I did some smaller repositioning and defoliation. It looks like she liked the more of nutrients i gave her yesterday. The buds are getting bigger, the pistils start to change their color and more trichomes are getting cloudy. day 52: Just visual check and filling up humidifier. day 53: Watering day. I increased the amount of Bio-Bloom, Top-Max and Bio-Heaven to 3ml/l. I'm now at about 6 liters of water every 3 days. day 54: Just visual check and filling up humidifier. day 55: Just visual check and filling up humidifier. The buds are getting bigger and more dense. From now I will have a close look at the pistils and the trichomes to decide when I will start to give her only plain (ph-regulated) water. I guess we have about 2-3 weeks to go from now. What are you thinking? day 56: Watering day. As most of the pistils are still white and most of the trichomes still clear, I gave her about 6 liters of water full of nutrients. day 57: While checking on her, I noticed some "burned" looking leaf tips. I guess that could've been a little too much nutrients last time. Overall she is looking happy.
