๐ŸŒฟ Frosted Guava Auto by Zamnesia | Pheno A | Week 11 ๐Ÿฆ„ The Little Unicorn Has Gone Full Auto Mode Welcome back to another chapter of the 8ร—8 Adventure! ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’š Well... I think Frosted Guava Pheno A has officially stopped caring about what anybody else in this room is doing. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿฆ„ She's in full auto mode. And honestly? I'm absolutely loving it. She's growing. She's building. She's stacking. She's getting heavy. She's developing some beautiful flower formation. And she's doing all of it at her own rhythm. At this point, I'm not even trying to guess what she's going to do next. I'm just watching. Because every time I think I understand this girl... she does something else. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’š She's definitely one of the more interesting personalities in the room. And this week? She's looking absolutely beautiful. So let's give this little unicorn the spotlight she deserves. ๐Ÿฆ„โœจ โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿฆ„ FULL AUTO MODE ACTIVATED โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ I know... technically she's an autoflower. ๐Ÿ˜‚ But watching all these different cultivars under the same 12/12-from-seed environment has created one of the funniest parts of this entire experiment. At this point, I honestly don't know which ones are behaving like autos... and which ones are behaving like photoperiods. The photoperiods are behaving like autos. The autos are behaving like photoperiods. And some of them seem to have decided: "Why don't we just do whatever the hell we want?" ๐Ÿ˜‚ Frosted Guava Pheno A definitely belongs in that last category. She's simply doing her thing. And she's doing it beautifully. This is exactly why I love the 8ร—8 Adventure. We can give them the same stage. We can give them the same lighting. The same environment. The same nutrition. The same schedule. And then... the genetics start writing their own story. And this girl has definitely picked her own chapter. THE FLOWER FORMATION IS BEAUTIFUL โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ This is probably the first thing that catches my eye this week. The flower formation. It's beautiful. The structures are becoming more substantial. The individual flowers are developing beautifully. And the overall plant is starting to carry some serious presence. We're past the point where I'm simply looking for flowering sites. They're here. They're established. They're building. And now I'm watching what they're becoming. That's one of my favourite stages of the entire run. The plant has already told us: "I'm flowering." Now she's starting to tell us: "Look what I'm building." And Frosted Guava is giving us plenty to look at. ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒธ โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ โš–๏ธ THIS GIRL IS HEAVY โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ I think this deserves its own section. Because she's heavy. Really heavy. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐ŸŒฟ You can see it in the way the plant carries itself. There is a substantial amount of flower developing throughout her structure, and she's definitely becoming one of those girls where you start looking at the branches a little differently. Not because there's a problem. Quite the opposite. It's because she's built something worth carrying. The plant is putting her energy into flower development and stacking, and the result is becoming increasingly impressive. She's got weight. She's got structure. She's got flowers everywhere. And she's definitely not finished. That's the part that makes me curious. Because if she's already carrying this much... where does she decide to take it from here? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿฆ„ I honestly don't know. And I'm perfectly happy letting her answer that question herself. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ“ THE LITTLE UNICORN IS STILL HERE โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ The nickname isn't going anywhere. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿฆ„ Frosted Guava Pheno A still has that little something that makes her different. The flower structures. The way she's developing. The little peculiarities. The overall personality. She's not just another plant in the room. She's Frosted Guava. And that's what I love about phenotype hunting. You don't necessarily know what you're going to get from a name. You can have expectations. You can have descriptions. You can have breeder information. But then you put the plant into your own environment... and she tells you who she actually is. This girl is telling us: "I'm going to be beautiful, I'm going to be heavy, and I'm going to do things my way." ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿฆ„๐Ÿ’š Fair enough, girl. We're listening. THE FROST IS STILL PART OF THE STORY โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ And underneath all that development... the frost continues to catch the eye. The flowers are increasingly detailed. The surfaces are becoming more textured. The resin-covered areas are becoming more obvious. And once the camera gets close? That's when the fun really starts. ๐Ÿ“ธโ„๏ธ From across the room, she's a beautiful flowering plant. From a few centimetres away... she becomes another world. Pistils. Trichomes. Flower structure. Little details. Textures. And all those tiny things that disappear when you're simply looking at the whole plant. That's why I love photographing this stage. The plant is changing every week. And the camera lets us freeze those changes in time. Frosted Guava is giving us plenty of moments worth freezing. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐ŸŒฟ DEEP GREEN & BEAUTIFUL โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ And let's not forget that beautiful foliage. That deep green remains one of the things I really enjoy about this phenotype. It gives the plant so much visual depth. The darker foliage creates contrast against the developing flowers. And then you add the frost... and suddenly you've got this incredibly photogenic combination. Deep green. Developing flowers. Bright pistils. Frost. Texture. And those peculiar little floral structures that make her look like the unicorn she has become. ๐Ÿฆ„๐Ÿ’šโ„๏ธ She's not trying to look like anybody else. And that's exactly how it should be. SAME ROOM. MORE PHOTONS. SAME GIRL. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ The lighting environment has received the same upgrade as the rest of the room. We've added two additional Future of Grow Black Series 600W fixtures. When we first introduced them, the available PPFD was higher than our target. So rather than simply running everything flat out, we've reduced the output to around: ๐Ÿ’ก ~59% power from the plug This gives us approximately: โ˜€๏ธ ~1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy with the actual intensity naturally changing according to plant height and position. And Frosted Guava? She's receiving the same photons as everyone else. Same room. Same lighting philosophy. Same upgraded environment. Yet... look at what she's doing with it. She's building. She's stacking. She's getting heavy. She's developing beautiful flowers. The photons are there. She's deciding what to do with them. And apparently... she has plans. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿฆ„ โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ โ˜€๏ธ THE 8ร—8 ARTIFICIAL SUN โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ This is still one of the things I find most fascinating about the project. We have created one big artificial sun. And now we're watching twelve different genetic personalities interpret it. Some stretch. Some stay compact. Some move quickly. Some take their time. Some become extremely frosty. Some build huge flowers. Some create strange structures. And some... become Frosted Guava. ๐Ÿ˜‚ The room provides the stage. The genetics write the performance. And this little unicorn is putting on a pretty damn good show. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ โš—๏ธ NUTRITION โ€“ SAME PROGRAM, NEW LEVEL โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ The nutritional program has also been updated across the room. Terra Bloom has increased slightly: ๐ŸŒฑ Terra Bloom โ€“ 2.3 ml/L with the rest of the flowering program remaining: ๐ŸŒฑ Power Buds โ€“ 1 ml/L ๐ŸŒฑ Green Sensation โ€“ 1 ml/L ๐ŸŒฑ Sugar Royal โ€“ 1 ml/L โš—๏ธ pH adjustment as required Current readings are approximately: โš—๏ธ pH โ€“ 6.02 โšก EC โ€“ ~2.14 mS/cm And once again... Frosted Guava is receiving the same overall program as everybody else. No special recipe. No special treatment. No attempt to force her into another phenotype. We're simply giving her the same opportunity... and watching what she does with it. And she's responding beautifully. ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’š โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐ŸŒก๏ธ WEEK 11 โ€“ CURRENT CONDITIONS โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ The room is currently running around: ๐ŸŒธ Flowering: Week 11 ๐Ÿ’ก Light schedule: 12/12 ๐ŸŒก๏ธ Day temperature: ~26.5ยฐC ๐ŸŒ™ Night temperature: ~26ยฐC ๐Ÿ’ง Relative humidity: ~61% โš—๏ธ pH: ~6.02 โšก EC: ~2.14 mS/cm ๐Ÿ’ฆ Nutrient solution temperature: ~25ยฐC ๐ŸŒฑ Substrate temperature: ~25ยฐC ๐Ÿ’จ COโ‚‚: ~693 ppm ? Pot size: 15 L ๐Ÿ’ง Irrigation: ~1.45 L/plant/24h The environment remains consistent. The lighting has been upgraded. The nutrition has been slightly increased. And the plants are continuing to show us how differently they interpret the same world. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐ŸŒธ SHE'S STACKING โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ This is where I keep coming back. The stacking. There is something extremely satisfying about seeing the flowers begin to build on themselves. You can look at a single branch and see multiple developing flower structures. Then you look at another. And another. And suddenly you realize how much of the plant is participating. She's not putting everything into one isolated point. She's building throughout her structure. And as those flowers gain more presence, the entire plant starts to look heavier. More substantial. More mature. And honestly... I really like what I'm seeing. ๐Ÿ“๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ”ฅ โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ˜‚ SHE'S DOING WHAT SHE WANTS โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ This might actually be my favourite part of her story. She's doing what the fuck she wants. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Sorry, but... she is. We're here. We're watching. We're providing. We're documenting. And Frosted Guava is basically saying: "Thanks for the support. I'll take it from here." ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿฆ„ And you know what? I'm perfectly happy with that. Because the best part of growing isn't always controlling the plant. Sometimes it's watching the plant reveal itself. Sometimes the most interesting thing you can do is step back and let genetics speak. And this girl has plenty to say. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐ŸŒฟ SHE'S MOVING BEAUTIFULLY โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ She's not necessarily trying to win some imaginary race. She's simply moving at her own rhythm. And that rhythm is beautiful. The flowers are progressing. The structure is developing. The plant is becoming heavier. The stacking is becoming more obvious. And the whole thing is starting to come together. We're still not at the finish line. Far from it. So I'm not going to start pretending we know exactly where she'll end. We don't. And that's the fun part. We're watching. Week by week. Photograph by photograph. Flower by flower. And Frosted Guava is writing her own story in real time. THE CAMERA HAS A BUSY WEEK AHEAD โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ I already know what's going to happen. I'm going to photograph the whole plant. Then a branch. Then a flower. Then another. Then I'll see something interesting. Then I'll move closer. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ“ธ And suddenly I've spent twenty minutes photographing one cola. But that's okay. Because this stage deserves that attention. There is so much detail developing. The flower structures. The stacking. The resin. The pistils. The textures. The little peculiarities. And all those things make each photograph another little piece of the diary. We're not just recording the final result. We're recording the journey. And Frosted Guava is giving us a very interesting journey. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ THE AUTO WORLD IS GETTING CONFUSING โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ This deserves another mention because it's honestly one of the funniest observations from this entire run. We're now looking at another autoflower... under the exact same 12/12-from-seed environment... and she's behaving like she belongs here perfectly. Meanwhile, some of the photoperiods are behaving like they're autos. ๐Ÿ˜‚ So... which is which? Honestly? Sometimes I don't know anymore. And I think that's one of the coolest things about this experiment. The labels tell us what the genetics are. The plants tell us how they're actually expressing themselves in this particular environment. And Frosted Guava? She's clearly comfortable with the arrangement. She's not complaining. She's not asking for a different schedule. She's just growing. And growing beautifully. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ‘‘ HEAVY GIRL, BEAUTIFUL GIRL โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ There are plenty of plants in this room that have caught my attention. But Frosted Guava has something special. She's becoming heavy. She's becoming increasingly substantial. And she's doing it while maintaining that beautiful personality that we've been watching since the beginning. The structure is interesting. The flowers are beautiful. The plant has presence. And now she's reaching that point where you start wondering just how much more she can build. I'm curious. Very curious. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿฆ„ But I'm not rushing her. She's got her own clock. And I'm happy to let her use it. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ” WHAT AM I WATCHING NOW? โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ My questions have changed again. I'm no longer wondering whether she's going to flower. She's clearly flowering. I'm no longer wondering whether she's going to build flowers. She's clearly building them. Now I'm watching: ๐ŸŒธ How much more will the flowers stack? โš–๏ธ How much more weight will she carry? โ„๏ธ How much more resin will develop? ๐Ÿฆ„ Will those unusual floral structures continue? ๐ŸŒฟ How will the overall plant mature from here? And perhaps the biggest question: Where the hell is this little unicorn going? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿฆ„ I honestly don't know. And I love that. Because if I already knew the answer... what would be the fun in watching? โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ’š NO NEED TO FORCE THE STORY โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ This girl doesn't need us to rewrite her. She doesn't need us to turn her into another phenotype. She doesn't need us to make her behave differently. She's healthy. She's developing. She's building. She's beautiful. So we're going to let her continue. The grower provides the environment. The plant does the growing. The camera documents the journey. And everybody gets to enjoy the show. That's the philosophy. And Frosted Guava is making it very easy to follow. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿฆ„ LET THE UNICORN SHINE โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ So here we are. Week 11. Frosted Guava Pheno A. Still beautiful. Still green. Still frosty. Still peculiar. Still stacking. Still getting heavier. Still doing exactly what she wants. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿฆ„๐Ÿ’š She's another one of those girls where I walk into the room and immediately notice her. Not because she's screaming. Not because she's demanding. But because she has personality. And now... she's becoming a seriously heavy flowering plant. That's a combination I really like. So let's give her the spotlight. Let's appreciate the flowers. Let's appreciate the structure. Let's appreciate the frost. Let's appreciate the weirdness. Let's appreciate the unicorn. ๐Ÿฆ„๐ŸŒฟโ„๏ธโœจ Because honestly? I wouldn't change her. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ”ฎ LOOKING AHEAD โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ We're still not at the finish line. There is plenty of road ahead. And I'm genuinely curious about what the next chapters will look like. Will the flowers continue stacking? Will she continue getting heavier? Will the unusual floral structures become even more pronounced? Will the frost keep building? How will the plant look when she finally decides she's done? I don't know. And that's exactly why I'm keeping the camera ready. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ“ธ We'll let her tell us. No rushing. No forcing. Just watching. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ™ THANK YOU โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ Another week. Another chapter. Another fascinating phenotype. And another reminder that this 8ร—8 Adventure is really about one thing: watching genetics express themselves. A huge thank you to GrowDiaries for giving us a place to document these journeys, compare phenotypes and share what we learn. Thank you to Zamnesia for the Frosted Guava genetics and for giving us this little unicorn to follow. Thank you to Plagron for supporting the nutritional side of the adventure. Thank you to Future of Grow for providing the lighting and, especially, for the additional Black Series 600W fixtures that allowed us to expand the lighting capability of the room. ๐Ÿ’ก๐Ÿ’š Thank you to LumiFlora for helping illuminate the deeper parts of the canopy. Thank you to TrolMaster for helping keep the environment consistent behind the scenes. And of course... thank you to everyone following the 8ร—8 Adventure. Every comment. Every question. Every observation. Every person who stops by to see what these girls are doing this week. It genuinely means a lot. And Frosted Guava? Well... she's still doing what Frosted Guava does. She's growing. She's stacking. She's getting heavy. She's developing beautiful flowers. She's getting frostier. She's becoming more interesting. And she's doing it completely in her own way. ๐Ÿฆ„๐Ÿ’š So yes... let's give this girl the spotlight. Let's let her shine. Let's see where this beautiful, heavy little unicorn decides to take us. Because she's clearly not finished yet. And I, for one, am very curious to see what she has planned next. Growers Love, my friends, and happy growing! ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿฆ„โœจ

This was the runt of the bunch from the beginning and started flowering a week before the others. Seemed like in veg it didn't have enough nitrogen (yellow/green leaves) and in flower it had too much causing the bottom new leaves to grow kinda mutated and dark green. Even with those issues she still packed on solid dense buds covered in trichomes. pulled off 253 grams wet after trimming and 57 grams of trim will update with dry weight when ready

Videos were taken on day 37 of flower. This one has a heavy strawberry aroma and some strange lookin buds. Looks like it will fill in pretty good. It's on the far right of the tent in the videos next to the purple leafed plant.

It's been a good week, the buds are becoming so heavy that they can hardly be kept. I'm just chairing now and waiting another week.

Not much changed this week in regard to growth. Except the fattening of buds is all Iโ€™m waiting on. A few more pistils are darkening n there are plenty of trichomes on the buds n leaves! Even big leaves r covered. Trichomes r mainly milky n clear with a tiny amount of amber. Hoping these buds get a nice bit bigger before I must give her the chop!

It was an interesting week...nice to have something to keep my mind occupied on these girls during this covid-19 epidemic. 2 days after water change last week, my roots started to turn brown and have appeared to stop growing, I first was concerned that it was root rot, but the plants didn't seem to be affected. So I added more UC ROOTS to the solution in hopes that it would help, I noticed white roots shooting out about 24 hours after. I think it may have been the increase in the coco cal that did the damage. They are filling the net nicely and I will be flipping them to flowering this week I think.

2025-10-15 2025-10-15 The Shaman was cut today. It's always bittersweet for me when it's time for harvest. Like every time I've grown her, I had so much fun and joyโ€”just looking at her brought me happiness. SHAMAN is a keeper in my outdoor genetics. She is easy to grow from start to harvest, always a pleasure. Despite the fact that this year she took longer to mature, I can't blame the geneticsโ€”all my outdoor plants were 3-4 weeks later this year. It was simply the conditions. Let's talk about conditions: The soil bed is prepared in autumn the year before and refreshed in springtime, so the plant always has at least 60 cm of deep, nice, and fluffy enriched soil base filled with microorganisms, microbacteria, and mycorrhizae. The roof is the most important part. This year I added 2 SCROGSโ€”that was great! She stayed stable during heavy wind and rain and kept on shining after the storms. I'm very pleased with the outdoor season overall, despite a very cold and wet spring and summer with only short periods of hot and sunny weather. The girls in my garden didn't care and kept growing and blooming until the last day. Thank you @DutchPassion_Official for the seedsโ€”I still have 2 left for next year. My first Attempt with SHAMAN https://growdiaries.com/diaries/27066-shaman-dutch-passion And the second Run https://growdiaries.com/diaries/106092-grow-journal-by-mrs-larimar Breeders Infomation: Shaman is a solid, highly powerful F1 hybrid. This mostly sativa strain has the THC level of 13.7%. It consists of 75 % sativa and 25 % indica. It is perfect for the outdoor and greenhouse cultivations. The plant is resistant to the mould and the bud's rot due the open structure. It has a big intermodal distance between the buds. The flowering time is 8-9 weeks in greenhouses. The plant reaches 1-1.5 m in height. The sweet woody smoke brings a sensual high-quality sativa effect. I hope you all enjoy reading my diary. stay hydrated legalize worldwide

So its day 149 and its time for Girl to go ... I left her for 72 hours of darkness, trichs are milky with 30% amber. She started to flower on day 2 . So i kind off hoped for her to mature quick.... And on day 64 of flower she is done, one of the fastest girls. I could push her like a week more, but she is fading and i dont like to slaughter buds while triming , because i dont like yellow leaves ;))) Two records left in longest diary, one for harvest, one for result. Amazing journey ... Happy growing !

Wow! Look at these amazing two plants. They both turned a bit purple. The smell is insane. Belive me or not but my entire room smells like a sweet ice cream restaurant. ๐Ÿ˜ I had given this week only PH adjusted water and darkness for two days before harvest. Going to dry for like 7-10 days and then curing for another month or so. I will upload more pictures of the dried buds when the time comes

A-Day 95, B&C-Day 91๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ’จ A-was watching her closely this week. All tricomes were cloudy, with about 10% amber by Saturday. She is getting the chop! B-she has stacked some weight on this week! Her ring of buds around the pot have thickened up quite a bit. Her tricomes are mostly cloudy, some amber. She has some nice purples, and the leaves have just started to fade like A did. Clear signs she is nearing her short auto lifespan๐Ÿค— C-there are still some clear tricomes, maybe 10-15%, but most are cloudy, and about 5% are amber coloured, or on their way. I have been drastically reducing the nutrients, not entirely but close. Bringing it down to just PHโ€™d water. I will be harvesting A, and then giving B and C a little more time. I have been setting up my new tent this past week, made some orders on Valentineโ€™s Day with Spider Farmer! Got a great deal on an upgraded version of the SF4000, and 6โ€in-line/digital humidity and temperature controlled fan. Fan is here but light is still on the way ๐Ÿ˜ข

Buds starting to link up nicely, no issues apart from ph seems to be creeping down in between feeds so dropped ec a touch and raised ph by a point.

Week 02 Introduction This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully... [START OF WEEK 02] Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Still looks a bit yellow. But getting larger! --- Solution strength was at 248 PPMs. --- Just topped off with a bit of distilled water --- PH went up to 6.1 so PH'd down to 5.8 --- Ran the top feed for a bit to wet the hydroton. - [2130]: She's looking even more yellow now. --- Even the new leaves are really yellow. --- Decided to add more base nutes. --- Added 4ml of Sensi A --- Added 4ml of Sensi B --- Now at about --- Solution Strength went up to 304 PPM. --- PH was at 6, --- Also raised the water level a bit more. --- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue. --- Please live! Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/11/20 - Total Days: 009 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looking less droopy. But still yellow. --- Decided to do a reservoir change. --- 4.5gal of distilled water --- 8ml of Sensi Grow A --- 8ml of Sensi Grow B --- 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- 4ml of B-52 --- 4ml of CaliMagic --- 4ml of Hydroguard --- 4 drops of Superthrive --- PH'd down to 5.8 --- Solution strength: 302 PPM --- Since I didn't want to risk over-watering the rockwool, I did not to do a top feed, may do one tonight after the sleep cycle (lights are still set to go off at 10am and back on at 4pm). --- As I was doing a reservoir change, I noticed that the tubes and bucket were a bit slimy. Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice? --- I hope she gets better soon! - [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow. --- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear. --- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon. --- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton. --- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM. --- Added 8ml more of Sensi A --- Added 8ml more of Sensi B --- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water. --- PPMs went up to 411. --- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay. --- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looks like more root growth! --- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky. --- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8. --- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs --- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot. - [2200]: Root is getting longer! --- Slime is returning. Not sure why. --- Solution strength: 357 PPMs --- PH: 6.1 --- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime. --- Added 16ml of Sensizym --- Added 5ml of Hydroguard --- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- New solution strength: 430 PPMs --- New PH: 6.1 --- Top fed for a minute. --- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime. --- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now! --- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured! --- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients. --- Added 8ml of Sensi A --- Added 8ml of Sensi B --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.1 --- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels. - [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime! --- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria. --- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.2 --- Added 8ml of Bud Candy --- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs. --- PH also went up to 6.3 --- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth. --- Top fed for a minute. --- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow. Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012 ----------------------------------- - [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime. --- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity. --- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs --- PH was at 6.3 --- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536. --- PH was still at 6.3 --- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute. - [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 6.5 --- Added PH down. --- New solution strength: 518 PPMs --- New PH: 5.2 --- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low. --- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton. Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 5.6 --- Top fed for a minute. --- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then. - [2145]: Looking pretty much the same. --- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected. --- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good. --- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything. --- Lowered the water level to below the net pot. --- Then top fed for a minute. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014 ----------------------------------- - [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY! --- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean. --- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful. --- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket. --- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot. --- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo. --- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength). --- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form. --- Then I ran the water pump. - [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines. --- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution. --- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak. - [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton. - [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system. --- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot. --- Ran system again to sterilize even more. - [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse. --- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again. --- Did this a few more times over about an hour. - [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water. --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B --- Added 12ml of B-52 --- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 16ml Sensizym --- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs --- PH was at 5.6 --- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up. --- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients. --- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute. --- Here's hoping for the best. Going to let it ride until morning! Please feel better! [END OF WEEK 02]
