πŸ’Ž Black Diamond Auto by Zamnesia – Pheno A Week 11 | When Every Cola Looks Like a Main Cola πŸ’ŽπŸ‘‘πŸ”₯ Welcome back to another chapter of the 8Γ—8 Adventure! πŸŒ±πŸ’š Okay... I think Black Diamond Pheno A has officially reached the point where I don't even know which cola I'm supposed to call the main one anymore. πŸ˜‚πŸ’Ž Because honestly... LOOK AT HER. Everywhere I look, there's another beautiful flower. Another tall, developed cola. Another structure that looks like it could have been the main top. And another reason to stop in front of this girl and just stare for a moment. She's big. She's beautiful. She's impressive. She's making herself noticed. And she's doing it without needing any special treatment compared with the rest of the room. Same room. Same environment. Same lighting upgrades. Same nutrition adjustments. Same 12/12 schedule. And yet... Black Diamond Pheno A has decided to interpret all of that in her own spectacular way. And I absolutely love it. πŸ’ŽπŸ”₯πŸ‘‘ ──────────────────────── πŸ’Ž EVERY COLA LOOKS LIKE THE MAIN COLA ──────────────────────── This is probably the easiest way for me to describe what I'm seeing this week. Every cola looks like a main cola. πŸ˜‚ Normally, when you look at a plant, your eyes naturally find the dominant top. You see the main structure. Then you look around at the side branches. With this girl? I'm having trouble deciding which one deserves the title. Because one catches my eye... Then another. Then another. And suddenly I'm standing there thinking: "Wait a minute..." "Isn't THAT supposed to be the main cola?" πŸ˜‚πŸ’Ž She's built such a beautiful distribution of flowering structures that the entire canopy is becoming a collection of major players. And I love that. She's not relying on one star. She's created a whole team of them. πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘ ──────────────────────── 🌿 SHE STILL MAKES HERSELF NOTICED ──────────────────────── Some plants quietly sit in the room. You walk past them. You appreciate them. Then you continue. Black Diamond? No. πŸ˜‚ She makes herself noticed. Every single time. She's one of those plants where your eyes naturally go toward her. Part of it is the size. Part of it is the structure. Part of it is the amount of flowering she's carrying. And part of it is simply... she has presence. She's big. She's substantial. She's developed. And now that the flowers are becoming increasingly dominant throughout the structure, her personality is becoming even stronger. She's not asking for attention. She's simply impossible to ignore. πŸ’ŽπŸŒΏπŸ‘‘ ──────────────────────── 🌸 THE FLOWERS ARE TAKING OVER THE CONVERSATION ──────────────────────── Earlier in the run, we talked a lot about structure. Then we talked about flower formation. Then resin. Then colour. Then weight. Now? The flowers are basically taking over the entire conversation. πŸ˜‚πŸŒΈ They're everywhere. And they're becoming increasingly substantial. The beautiful thing about this phenotype is how consistently she has built throughout her structure. She didn't create one impressive top and leave everything else behind. She's built a whole network of flowering sites. And now those sites are developing into substantial colas. Which brings us back to the problem... How exactly do I choose the main cola? πŸ˜‚ I don't think I can. So let's just call them all main colas. Problem solved. πŸ’ŽπŸ‘‘ ──────────────────────── πŸ”₯ A CANOPY FULL OF MAIN COLAS ──────────────────────── There is something incredibly satisfying about seeing this kind of development. You look across the plant... and instead of seeing one obvious dominant flower surrounded by smaller ones... you see a whole collection of developed flowering structures. That's what catches my eye with Black Diamond right now. The canopy has depth. The flowers have presence. The branches have purpose. And the whole plant looks like it's putting every part of that structure to work. She's not wasting much space. She's filling it. And she's doing it beautifully. πŸŒΈπŸŒΏπŸ’Ž ──────────────────────── πŸ’‘ SAME ROOM. SAME UPGRADES. HER OWN EXPRESSION. ──────────────────────── And once again, this is where the 8Γ—8 Adventure gets really interesting. We're not changing the rules for Black Diamond. She's sharing the same room as everybody else. The same overall environmental strategy. The same irrigation system. The same nutritional program. The same 12/12 lighting schedule. And now... the same upgraded lighting setup. We've added the two additional Future of Grow Black Series 600W fixtures. After seeing the initial PPFD was higher than we wanted, we've brought the fixtures down to around: πŸ’‘ ~59% power from the plug with approximately: β˜€οΈ ~1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy and naturally less depending on canopy height and position. Black Diamond is receiving those photons just like the rest of the room. But look at what she's doing with them. She's building. She's stacking. She's developing. She's turning those photons into an entire army of main-cola-looking structures. πŸ˜‚πŸ’ŽπŸ”₯ ──────────────────────── β˜€οΈ MORE PHOTONS. MORE POSSIBILITY. ──────────────────────── I really like what the lighting upgrade has brought to the room. Not because we're trying to force the plants to do something. Quite the opposite. It's about having the capability. We're not running the fixtures flat out just because we can. We're controlling the output. We're finding the level that makes sense for the room. And then we let the plants respond. Black Diamond is certainly responding. She's looking strong. She's looking substantial. And she's continuing to develop beautifully. The artificial sun is there. The photons are there. The plant decides what to do with them. And this girl has apparently decided: "Flowers." Lots of them. πŸ˜‚πŸ’ŽπŸŒΈ ──────────────────────── 🌱 LET THE PLANT DO THE WORK ──────────────────────── This is something I keep appreciating more and more as the run progresses. At this stage... we don't need to be constantly interfering. The framework is established. The plant knows what it's doing. The flowers are developing. And our job becomes much more about observation than intervention. Keep the environment stable. Keep the irrigation consistent. Keep the nutrition appropriate. Keep the air moving. Keep the lights where they need to be. And watch. That's it. Black Diamond doesn't need us to tell her how to grow. She's already made that decision. πŸ˜‚πŸ’Ž She's just doing what she does. And she's doing it beautifully. ──────────────────────── 🌿 BIG, BEAUTIFUL & COMPLETELY HERSELF ──────────────────────── At around 169 cm, Black Diamond Pheno A remains one of the substantial girls in this room. She's big. But again... her height isn't what impresses me most anymore. It's what she's doing with that height. The structure. The branches. The flower distribution. The number of developed colas. The way the entire plant seems to have become a flowering machine. That's what makes her special. She's not tall just for the sake of being tall. She's using that architecture. And she's filling it. πŸ’ŽπŸŒΈπŸ’š ──────────────────────── ❄️ THE FROST IS STILL THERE ──────────────────────── And of course... we can't talk about Black Diamond without talking about the frost. β„οΈπŸ’Ž The resin-covered surfaces continue to give her that beautiful crystalline appearance. Get closer... and the story changes again. The flowers aren't just flowers. They're texture. They're resin. They're pistils. They're tiny details. They're little landscapes. And when the light catches everything correctly... she really does shine. Which is probably why the name Black Diamond continues to feel so appropriate. She has that combination of darkness, colour, structure and sparkle that makes her incredibly photogenic. πŸ“ΈπŸ’Žβ„οΈ ──────────────────────── 🎨 COLOUR + GREEN + FROST ──────────────────────── Another thing I really appreciate is the combination of colours we're seeing. The green foliage. The developing flower colours. The bright pistils. The white frost. All of it coming together across such a large plant. It creates a really beautiful contrast. And because she has so many flowering structures, there isn't just one place where you see it. It's happening throughout the plant. Everywhere. Another cola. Another angle. Another little section that catches the eye. This girl is basically giving the camera a full-time job. πŸ˜‚πŸ“Έ ──────────────────────── πŸ“Έ THE PHOTOGRAPHER'S PROBLEM ──────────────────────── Black Diamond is becoming one of those plants where taking photographs becomes a problem. Not because she's difficult to photograph. Because there are too many good things to photograph. πŸ˜‚ You take the wide shot. "Okay, beautiful." Then you move closer. "Oh, that's a nice cola." Then you see another one. "Wait, this one is even better." Then another. And another. And suddenly... you've been standing there for half an hour. πŸ˜‚πŸ“ΈπŸ’Ž That's the fun of this stage. The plant has so much going on that every perspective tells a slightly different story. ──────────────────────── πŸ’Ž THE BLACK DIAMOND PERSONALITY ──────────────────────── By now, I think we know who this girl is. She's not shy. She's not trying to hide. She's not trying to be the smallest girl in the room. She's substantial. She's demanding. She's productive. She's beautiful. And she's very comfortable taking up space. πŸ˜‚πŸ’Ž She's one of those phenotypes that makes you stop and think: "Okay..." "I see you." And then you walk away... only to turn around and look again. πŸ˜‚ ──────────────────────── βš—οΈ NUTRITION – THE ROOM MOVES TOGETHER ──────────────────────── Just like the rest of the room, we've made the flowering nutrition adjustment. 🌱 Plagron Terra Bloom – 2.3 ml/L 🌱 Power Buds – 1 ml/L 🌱 Green Sensation – 1 ml/L 🌱 Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L βš—οΈ pH adjustment as required Current solution parameters are around: βš—οΈ pH – ~6.02 ⚑ EC – ~2.14 mS/cm Again... nothing special just for Black Diamond. Same general nutritional strategy. Same room. Same philosophy. And she's responding beautifully. Which is exactly what we want to see. ──────────────────────── 🌑️ WEEK 11 ENVIRONMENT ──────────────────────── The room continues around: 🌑️ Day temperature: ~26.5Β°C πŸŒ™ Night temperature: ~26Β°C πŸ’§ RH: ~61% βš—οΈ pH: ~6.02 ⚑ EC: ~2.14 mS/cm πŸ’¦ Nutrient solution: ~25Β°C 🌱 Substrate temperature: ~25Β°C πŸ’¨ COβ‚‚: ~693 ppm πŸ’‘ Light schedule: 12/12 ? Pot size: 15 L πŸ’§ Irrigation: ~1.45 L/plant/24h Same environment. Same ecosystem. Same room. And Black Diamond continues to show us her own interpretation of it. πŸ’ŽπŸŒΏ ──────────────────────── 🌸 WHEN EVERY COLA LOOKS IMPORTANT ──────────────────────── This is probably what I'll remember most about this week. Every cola looks important. There's no obvious: "Okay, THIS is the main one." Because so many of them have developed enough structure to demand attention. They're all standing there like: "Pick me." πŸ˜‚ And I'm like: "I can't." So... you're all main colas. Everybody wins. πŸ‘‘πŸŒΈπŸ‘‘πŸŒΈπŸ‘‘πŸŒΈ ──────────────────────── SAME GENETIC ROOM, DIFFERENT STORIES ──────────────────────── This is also another beautiful reminder of what this whole project is about. We have so many different cultivars and phenotypes sharing the same ecosystem. Some are smaller. Some are taller. Some are faster. Some are slower. Some are extremely compact. Some stretch. Some become incredibly frosty. Some build huge individual flowers. And Black Diamond? She's building a whole army of colas. πŸ˜‚πŸ’Ž That's the part I love. We provide the environment. Genetics provide the personality. And then we watch the story unfold. ──────────────────────── πŸ” WHAT AM I WATCHING NOW? ──────────────────────── At this point, I'm not looking for something to fix. I'm looking at development. 🌸 How much more will these colas build? ❄️ How much more resin will develop? πŸ’Ž How much more weight will those structures carry? 🌿 How will the foliage continue to evolve? πŸ“Έ How many more photographs am I going to take? πŸ˜‚ The questions are becoming more about watching the plant mature than trying to change anything. And that's a really enjoyable place to be. She's healthy. She's beautiful. She's developing. So... let her work. ──────────────────────── πŸ‘‘ SHE DESERVES THE SPOTLIGHT ──────────────────────── Sometimes a plant earns the spotlight because something unusual happens. Sometimes because she has a special colour. Sometimes because she suddenly explodes with flowers. And sometimes... she simply keeps being amazing. That's Black Diamond Pheno A this week. She's not necessarily doing something completely different from last week. She's simply continuing to be excellent. And sometimes... that's more than enough. πŸ’ŽπŸŒΏπŸ‘‘ ──────────────────────── πŸ’ FINAL THOUGHTS – STILL SHINING ──────────────────────── Week 11. Black Diamond Auto Pheno A. And honestly... what can I say? She's still beautiful. She's still big. She's still making herself noticed. She's still developing. She's still covered in beautiful flowers. She's still carrying more and more structure. And now... I'm looking at a plant where practically every cola looks like it could be the main cola. πŸ˜‚πŸ’ŽπŸ‘‘ I absolutely love it. She's doing exactly what she wants. We're doing exactly what we need to do. The room is stable. The lighting has been upgraded. The nutrition has been adjusted. The photons are flying. And she's doing the rest. That's the beauty of this stage. We don't need to force the story. We just need to document it. And Black Diamond is giving us a hell of a story. πŸ’ŽπŸ”₯🌿 ──────────────────────── πŸ™ THANK YOU ──────────────────────── Another week. Another chapter. Another beautiful girl showing us exactly why the 8Γ—8 Adventure has been so much fun. A huge thank you to GrowDiaries for giving us the platform to document these journeys, share experiences and learn together. Thank you to Zamnesia for the Black Diamond genetics and for giving us this incredible phenotype to follow. Thank you to Plagron for the nutrition supporting the garden. A huge thank you to Future of Grow for supplying the additional Black Series 600W fixtures and giving us the opportunity to explore what this expanded lighting setup can do. πŸ’‘πŸ’š Thank you to LumiFlora for helping illuminate those deeper areas of the canopy. Thank you to TrolMaster for helping keep the environment stable behind the scenes. And, of course... thank you to everyone following the 8Γ—8 Adventure. Every comment. Every question. Every message. Every person stopping by to see what these girls are doing. It genuinely means a lot. πŸ’š And Black Diamond? This week... you absolutely deserve the spotlight. πŸ’ŽπŸ‘‘πŸ”₯ You're big. You're beautiful. You're frosty. You're stacking. You're developing. You're filling your structure with flowers. And somehow... you've reached the point where every cola looks like a main cola. πŸ˜‚πŸ’ŽπŸŒΈ So let's not overthink it. Let's let her shine. Let's let her keep building. Let's keep the photons flying. Let's keep watching. And let's see what this beautiful girl decides to show us next. Because one thing is certain... Black Diamond Pheno A is not interested in being a background character. She's making herself noticed. And honestly? I'm very happy to give her the spotlight. πŸ’ŽπŸŒΏπŸ‘‘πŸ”₯ Growers Love, my friends, and happy growing! πŸ’šπŸŒ± See you next week in the 8Γ—8 jungle... where the crowns are temporary, the genetics keep surprising us, and apparently... every cola on Black Diamond wants to be the main cola. πŸ˜‚πŸ’ŽπŸ‘‘πŸŒΈ

March 17, Day 76: As written I collected the last three plants. At the moment I got a partial of 224 grams from the first three plants and I think of doubling with the last three. Among the latter is the plant with the largest bud which obviously becomes my favorite. This time I managed to take photographs of the plants before cutting them. With these last three plants I got the most productive plant, the one with the largest bud and the one with the longest bud πŸ˜‰ For a final report on this strain: The Gorilla by RQS is an excellent strain for anyone who loves a high THC content and I particularly recommend it to growers who pass for the first time from photoiperiods to autoflowering. You will grow very large and very productive plants very similar to photoperiodic ones. This strain branches out a lot and must be defoliated and de-branched. You can grow it well with the SCROG technique, but if like me you have no space problems you can also use the Sea Of Green technique. In conclusion I want to thank all the growers who have followed this my first diary to which I have a happy growth! A big thanks also to GrowDiaries and to the whole team for having created the best social network dedicated to the world of growers πŸ‘πŸ’ͺπŸ˜‰ March 24 Final Report: Hi growers, with this last post I'm going to close my first diary. First I have to say that I am very satisfied with the total harvest, from the last three plants I got 369 grams which added to the 224 of the previous harvest make a total of 593 grams. I started this diary with 8 Gorillas and 2 Cheese. 6 Gorillas completed their cycle in the same time frame, the 2 remaining gorillas showed a photoperiodic genetic predominance, one of them is in an advanced flowering phase while the last one after three months still shows only a few pistils. I'll probably kill her, and move on by putting new seeds in the soil. Unfortunately, where I live is illegal to grow marijuana, otherwise I would have simply moved outdoors, but I can't and must be ruthless. Regarding the two cheeses there is not much left at the end of their cycle and I started to give only water to one of the two plants. Good and happy growth to all! 😜

Day 27 since flipping to flower. Day 19 since first pistils appeared. Man, she is getting frosty! Starting to develop a sweet fruity type smell. Getting some color changing on the leaves due my Temps dropping more at night. Struggling to keep her from being so bushy. Will probably do one mor nice defoliation within the next few days and let her ride til the end. She's looking good. Let me know what yall think!

So, I’m excited. New lights today. Horticultural grow lights quantum boards built for me by growerslights.com I don’t have to time or knowledge to build one but I wanted one. Growerslights builds and tests for you for $50. Money well spent. This light is the shit. Full stop. So bright, so efficient. I’m getting a lot more light for 80w less per hour and that’s on full power. I’m going to start at 1/3 and slide up a little over the next few days. It’s the hlg-650h ok commercial done. I cannot wait to do a full grow under this monster. As far as the current plants. They’ll do their last week and a half under it. I’ll move the mars hydros to a small cloner I got. Flushing now until harvest on the weekend of the 30th-31st

Fat buds and 4 phenotypes. The first two are very similar: indica and very productive. One is a highly sativa phenotype who grows high but have large-indica leaves. At last I found a not so big yielding phenotype but it produced top buds with much resin.

18 Sep 2021 Today starts week 11 of the grow, and week 3 of flowering. I gave the plants what was left of the feeding solution from the previous feeding yesterday, but didn’t do an entry for it πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. The plants needed to be fed, so I gave them what I had ready. It was about gallon split between the three of them, so just a snack really. Today I’m moving along in the feed chart and upping the level to the Mid-Bloom, step 6 on my feeding chart. As with the previous weeks, I plan to start using only 50% of the nutrient level because all 3 of my Ladies are doing exceptionally well with what I’ve been giving them so far, so I’m going to keep doing it. So far there has been zero nutrient burn, and I’d love to keep it that way! Ok; so not everything is going to be right at 50%, but close enough. I’m going to start feeding them CALiMAGic 2ml, FloraMicro 2ml, FloraGro 2ml, FloraBloom 2.2ml, Floralicious Plus 2ml, and Liquid KoolBloom 1ml. Each plant will be given the above nutrients mixed into a gallon of water. The initial pH for each is as follows: C1 & C2 - 6.3, and C3 - 6.2. I added 1.5ml of pH UP to adjust them up a bit. C1 was adjusted to 6.6, and C2 & C3 were both adjusted to 6.7. The runoff pH still isn’t where I want it to be, but the plants are doing wonderful, so I’ll just keep an eye on it. If everything continues to go well, then nothing need be done. If problems develop, then I’ll address them as they arise. The runoff pH was: C1 - 5.7, C2 - 6.0, and C3 - 5.6. The temp was 82F in the tent at around 2:00pm when I fed them, and humidity was at 69%. I’ve noticed that the humidity in the tent is higher now than it ever has been in previous grows, but still doing great! My plants are looking stellar! I’m extremely happy with where they are now, and with how they’re maturing. I guess I’ll just keep on keeping on. Happy growing everyone!! 20 Sep 2021 Hello everyone! Hopefully you all have been growing some great weed out there on the big blue marble called Earth! It’s feeding time again in The_Good_Twin grow room! Today I gave C1 and C2 what was left of their gallons the other day, but C3 was looking a little parched; so I decided to feed them all all over again. Just a little different. Instead of giving each of them their own gallon; especially since C1 and C2 had already had a bit, I decided to make 2 gallons and split one between those two, and one for C3 by herself. I kept with the same feed levels as the other day, so each gallon received: CALiMAGic 2ml, FloraMicro 2ml, FloraGro 2ml, FloraBloom 2.2ml, Floralicious Plus 2ml, and Liquid KoolBloom 1ml. The initial pH for both gallons was 6.3. I added 1.8ml’s of pH UP to each gallon which adjusted the pH of both gallons to 6.8. The runoff pH differed a little. C1 was 5.8, C2 was 6.1 (from the same solution), and C3 was 5.7. It seems no matter how I adjust the pH going in, it always seems to be much lower in the runoff water. The plants are doing great, so I’m not going to worry until it seems to be a real issue. It may be nothing. The temperature was moderate outside today, and the tent temperature was commensurate with the outside at 77F. The humidity was at 56% today when I fed them, but was about 65% about 2 hours earlier when I checked in on them. Like I said; my plants are doing great so I’m not worried about anything right now. I’m thinking about upping the nutrients to full strength next time to see how they react. If I get some nutrient burn then I’ll lower them back down. If not πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ, I’ll keep feeding them the full strength. We’ll just have to see how it goes. May all of your ladies give you big, fat, sticky buds!! Happy growing everyone! 22 Sep 2021 So today is the day! My lovely ladies are going to start receiving full strength nutrients for the first time in this grow. I’ve been keeping it at half strength till now, but their bud formation looks to be in full swing. I want to give them plenty of help right now, so their buds can get fat and sticky!! Today all three of my ladies took the full gallon of solution, and had a sufficient amount of runoff. Today they received: CALiMAGic 2ml, FloraMicro 3.8ml, FloraGro 3.8ml, FloraBloom 4.2ml, Floralicious Plus 2ml, and Liquid KoolBloom 1ml. The initial pH for all 3 was 6.1. I added 2ml of pH UP to each gallon which adjusted the pH of C1/C3 - 6.6, and C2 - 6.7. Runoff pH for C1 was 5.7, C2 was 5.9, and C3 was 5.6. I’m not really happy with the runoff pH, but I haven’t been this whole time. All three of my plants are doing awesome, so I’m not going to worry about it until I see cause too. Tent temperature was 81F, with humidity at 66%. My plants look amazing! I believe (so far) that they are the best plants I’ve grown yet. Sadly, none of the clippings I took from them for clones made it. So my Blueberry Muffin run will end with two diaries, and 4 plants. Each of my Trio has long, white haired buds forming in clusters around every node on their branches. All three of them are looking strong and healthy. I’m super happy with their progress to date. Hopefully they respond well to the full nutrients and burst with improved growth. Time will tell. Happy growing everyone!

So these buds are super piney in terps. The plant itself was okβ€” super vigorous in veg and once it was flipped to flower around week 3 I could see the buds were ok. More auto like in quality versus photoperiod.

Info: Unfortunately, I had to find out that my account is used for fake pages in social media. I am only active here on growdiaries. I am not on facebook instagram twitter etc All accounts except this one are fake. Hi everyone :-) . The seedling has developed well so far :-) Nice thick leaves like the last phenotype of the banana. I trained her for the first time this week (topping). It was poured twice this week with 1l each (for nutrients, see nutrient table). The tent was cleaned and the lady's health was checked.
