7/26 Rained last night and looks like it will rain today as well. The periods we've been having with rain then sun then rain has really exploded growth. I have tops over my fence already. You can see all the dead leaves I pulled. Plants look healthy but I always worry when I lose leaves like this. Luckily I can look back on my old diary and the paper one before for some peace of mind. I've decided to label this week as flower even though we still have about 14 and a half hours of daylight but we're losing light every week. My plants get shade in the evening. My tarps provide a little shade as well. Everything is stretching incredibly that's why I labeled flower. You can see preflowers starting to form. I hope that's why I lost so many leaves (starting preflower). I mean the plants are healthy. I'll check pH with a soil meter tonight and make sure things are good. I would think with the rain it would lower my pH if anything. Definitely using dry amendments next year and dropping the liquid nutes. Soon I'll start adding flower nutes at low doses and see how the girls respond. Still haven't been able to spray BT for the pillars and my IPM. Hopefully tonight it won't rain and I can spray. 7/27 watered today. Still seeing some leaves yellowing and dropping. I left my pH meter so I'll have to check to see if that's the problem. I've been researching and I may need to adjust my nutrient dosage and add more P. I still haven't sprayed. I found a shit ton of earwigs under the wood outside I use to hold down my tarp. I thought they were predators but maybe not. I'll have to research them. I may have to use captain Jack's instead of BT and hope it combats the earwigs. 7/28 Watered as the soil was dry. Killed some earwigs and tied up a branch that is to close to the fence. I researched earwigs and they aren't beneficial but I've noticed that I no longer have ANY aphids that I could see. I'll check lower leaves with my scope as I haven't checked in a while. My pH meter won't work in ANY of my grow bags. It seems like the bags are just a bunch of roots. When I stuck the meter in a pile of last year's soil (next to the grow) it worked fine and read at 6.6. I don't get why it won't work with the grow bags. I'll have to research and see if I can use test strips or something. Still noticing some random damage here and there but it's time to spray and I just haven't done it. Plants are in that transition stage. All the big clones are at about the same stage. I really hope losing the leaves is normal. Looking at my father's tomato plants I noticed the same thing. I looked at other foliage and trees and I'm seeing similar signs of senscence. 7/29 Fed two gallons to the garden this morning. I was able to get one reading off my pH meter and it read 7.3. Still losing leaves but plants are stretching like crazy. Even the little 5 gallon ones I have been neglecting are forming there "asparagus tops" and starting to transition energy. I think I'll start adding bloom nutes next feed or so. I need to treat the PM. I've been slacking on my IPM. Also noticed some weird looking damage on a bud site. I hope it's not those earwigs. I usually have aphids but this year it seems the lady bugs and my treatments kept them at bay. I'm wondering if the ear wigs that I saw were eating other bugs and ran out and started munching on leaves. Hope not. I plan to make a ear wig trap and I need to research more. Planning on spraying LCPT tonight and cleaning up the cage but we'll see how that goes. Very little wind so I took the tarps down for now. I'll update as I get things done. UPDATE: I inspected tops and bud sites for damage. Random damage mostly on seedlings outside the cage. It's hot today and the mis-labeled indica (it's ONE of the strains listed other than DJSBB AND DREAMCATCHER) in the 50 gallon pot seemed a bit droopy. Granted all those strains are highly indica dominant and it could just be the pheno. I gave them a little water just to make sure. It should hold them over till the rain. I took a small plastic container and made an earwig trap with soy sauce and olive oil. Let's see what I catch. I plan to spray LCPT tonight. 7/30 Rained all night so I couldn't spray like I wanted too. Rain and 49 degrees at 8. My earwig trap caught zero earwigs but I killed a few around it. Noticed damage on a bud site that I'm pretty sure was from ear wigs. My bags are on the ground and I allowed the roots to grow through into the ground so I am hesitant to use something like borax to kill them. I'll have to give this a little more thought. Tarps are still down I'll monitor and update. I was able to get two pH readings but they were the five gallon plants 7.2 and 7.3. I'd really like to lower the pH. My water going in is always good and I even measured the pH of the rain so I hope I'm good. May need to check run off for accuracy. 7/31 Didn't water as it poured last night. Wind is high so tarps went back up. Got a read of 7.3 on basically all plants. I don't get it. I'll have to lower what I'm putting in. I also need to figure out the earwig situation and get off my ass and MAKE time to prune the insides and treat the PM. I did this shit last year when I had COVID so I can do it with a stomach flu. UPDATE: I finally got around to applying the lost coast plant therapy. Two hours later and I'm pretty sure I applied it properly. I took some immediate pictures. I also watered a little before treatment. Found and killed two japanese beetles (which I think are the culprits behind the unknown damage). Fucker was on the top of a starting cola way taller than me. I never would've seen him if I didn't treat. I'm going to need to use a ladder and inspect tops a little more closely. On another not WE ARE IN FLOWER!! No question about it. The "spears" are starting to thicken and beginning to start flowers. It was so much more apparent this afternoon. Probably because I was pruning the interior and defoliating as well as getting close to spray. I'm beyond psyched and im going to start reduced dosages of tiger bloom. I'm also going to try to pH my water lower and see if that doesn't make a difference. 8/1 Soil was wet so I didn't water. LCPT did great at eating up that PM. The plant in the tub in the back seems like it may have a virus or something. It just seems weak. It reveged as well. I'll keep an eye on it. If it continues with a weak appearance i'll get a second opinion and if it truly is a virus i'll trash it. I'm not going to risk the rest of my plants. I'm experimenting with the plant. I have the branches tired down at 90 degree angles. I'm thinking about adding a dry amendment and top dressing. I have work to do next week. Weather has been awesome. Sunny. It was 49 this morning though. 75 at noon.

Grown out this week and got them ready for the early flower growth. Trimmed heavy and wired all branches away from each other. LST in full effect. Hoping it’s not too much trauma for them.. they proved me wrong. Bounced back with vigor and bright excitement! Eager to see these buds start forming 👀

Hallo und herzlich willkommen am Anfang der 2ten Blütenwoche Einiges viel zum Wochenende an. Darunter viel, dass wir eine große Population an Trauermücken durch eine Nematoden- Kur und Gelb wie auch Blautafeln in den Griff bekommen mussten. Bisher obwohl wir es auch schon mal erwähnten, haben wir bis hierher von dem Neemöl- Extrakt noch nichts verwendet, da die Pflanzen ohnehin schon zu dem Zeitpunkt arg angeschlagen waren. Dahingehend haben sie sich alle gut erholt. Da unsere Liter Vorräte an Dünger nun doch kurz vor Ende nicht mehr alle samt top waren, sind wir jetzt auf das JU JU Royal Programm von Biobizz umgestiegen. Was soll man sagen, wenn man wem Vertrauen kann auf dieser Ebene, dann sicher Julian Marley 😇 Gestern Abend dann haben wir das Lollipopping unter der Voraussetzung Sauberes bzw. Desinfiziertes Arbeitswerkzeug wie natürlich auch Handschuhe vollzogen. Es war jetzt das insgesamt 3te mal das wir sie entlaubt/ gestresst haben. Was aber auch wichtig ist, es tut ihr ja gut und daher verwöhnt man sie auch wieder rum^^ Wir haben ca. 20 % entfernt, alles was Licht abbekommt und Sonnensegel blieben stehen. So ist bewerkstelligt, dass ausreichend Photosynthese betrieben werden kann. Sie waren alle schon sehr dicht gewachsen und schöner wäre letzte Woche gewesen zu Entlauben um so besser, für Luftzirkulation zu Sorgen und auch die Raumfeuchte runter zubekommen. Dennoch haben wir uns dafür entschieden, den Beschnitt genau zum Übergang in die 2te Blütewoche umzusetzen. Grund dafür auch, den Streck abzuwarten. Jetzt Anfang der 2ten Blütewoche ist die Bildung von Blütenansetzen voll im Gange und schon gut ausgeprägt. Demnach auch der Streck bald Stagnieren. Gießverhalten, sehr unberechenbar... man kann in die Pötte geben und nächsten Tag sind die Nährstoffe bis auf ein geringes quasi verpufft. In der Regel versuchen wir alle 2 Tage Nährstoffe zu verabreichen, ansonsten Wasser in auch PH angepassten Wasser. Ab der Blütephase fahren wir mit mind. einem PH von 6.5 bis höchstens 6,8 Da wie eben genannt nichts in die Pötte zu bekommen war, haben wir gestern auch mit 1 ml/ L ne leichte Blattdüngung mit Green Mystic vorgenommen. Nur erreichbare Sonnensegel bzw. Blätter wurden besprüht. Andere Blätter darunter bzw. daneben wurde versucht so gut wie möglich abzudecken (Küchentuch). Ja soweit wäre es jetzt erstmal. Wie immer, hinterher fällt einem immer wieder noch was ein was man sicher Schreiben wollte ;-) Aja Gesternhatten wir dann auch auf 720 Watt umgestellt. Ghost Train Haze · Week 12 From Seed Catching The Ghost Train Haze @ Zamnesia 👻 Week 12 from seed, and this one is still all momentum. While the room as a whole is beginning to slow, this plant still carries forward motion — not in stretch, not in structure, but in sheer flower mass. The frame is already built. The architecture is done. What remains now is density, resin, and finish. And in true Ghost Train fashion, she is doing all of it at full scale. This is not a subtle plant. Not in height. Not in width. Not in flower. Not in presence. She has become one of those plants that changes the feel of the room just by standing in it. ⸻ From Seed to Here From the beginning, this one showed a very different kind of energy. Where some plants stayed compact and conservative, Ghost Train Haze never really asked for permission. She moved with intent early, built fast, stacked hard, and never gave much reason to doubt what she wanted to become. This was never a small-frame cultivar. Even early on, the message was clear: longer frame, stronger reach, larger vertical push, heavier terminal expression. She wanted space. She wanted support. She wanted structure. And she got all three. LST helped guide the shape, but the real work here was not controlling her — it was supporting her. Because once she committed to flower, this became less about training and more about load management. That is where we are now. The structure is built. The weight is here. And now the room is no longer shaping her. It is holding her up. ⸻ Week 12 — Same Room, Same Rules Even an outlier still finishes inside the ecosystem. And that matters here. Ghost Train may still have more runway left than some of the others in the room, but she does not flower in isolation. She flowers inside a shared environment, shared rhythm, and shared finish window. That means she moves with the room. So while she may still have another two weeks — maybe three — of true finish left in her, she is now on the same simplified path as the rest of the garden: less input, less push, less bottle, more observation. Which means this week she also moves into water-only irrigation with Pure Zym staying in rotation. Not because she is finished. Because the room is. And now we get to watch how far the biology carries her from here. ⸻ Why Pure Zym Still Stays This is where late flower becomes more interesting than people think. Yes, the nutrient stack is stripped back. Yes, the EC is down. Yes, the pH has drifted higher and we are no longer forcing correction. That is not neglect. That is transition. At this stage, we are no longer trying to push aggressive uptake through bottled input. We are leaning on what the medium still holds and what the biology is still able to process. And in a living medium, that matters. Pure Zym stays because even when the feed is reduced, the soil is still active. Root turnover is still happening. Organic matter is still breaking down. Microbial life is still cycling what remains in the pot. The plant may be receiving less from the bottle, but it is not receiving nothing. It is still being fed by the medium. Still being supported by microbial activity. Still pulling from what is already present. And for a plant this large, late-flower access matters more than late-flower force. We are not trying to make her bigger now. We are trying to help her finish clean. ⸻ The Plant Right Now Massive. That is the only honest place to begin. This is one of those plants that stops looking like a “large auto” and starts looking like a full structural problem. The main cola is no longer just oversized. It is arm-thick. Baseball-bat territory. A true terminal flower with enough mass that support is no longer optional. And the support tells the story as clearly as the flowers do. This is not one yo-yo on one top. This is multiple yo-yos across the plant because this is no longer about holding a cola upright — it is about distributing load across a living structure carrying more than it was ever meant to hold alone. That is always a good sign. When support becomes structural, the plant has done its job. And she has. Top to bottom, this plant is carrying serious weight. The primary colas are dense, heavy, and fully formed. The secondary sites are not filler. Even the lower flowers — the ones that often end up loose, airy, or forgettable on lesser runs — are dense, firm, and fully worth keeping. No fluff. No waste. No real popcorn to speak of. Just smaller flowers with the same intent. That is the mark of a properly loaded plant. ⸻ Resin, Density & Finish And now she is frosting properly. The structure was always there. Now the resin is catching up to the weight. Trichome production is climbing harder this week, and it shows across the full flower surface — not just on sugar leaf edges, but across the bracts themselves, where it matters most. The frost is no longer isolated. It is spreading. And that changes the whole look of the plant. The flowers are tightening. The resin is thickening. The surfaces are becoming brighter, stickier, and more defined. And underneath that frost is the part that matters most: density. This plant is not just large. She is solid. Not visually dense. Physically dense. Firm flowers. Hard lowers. Heavy tops. No softness anywhere. That is the kind of late flower you want to see. ⸻ Conditions & Late Flower Response Room conditions remain stable and in line with the rest of the garden. Temperature remains unchanged from the previous week. Humidity remains steady. The environment stays consistent because the room is still reading correctly at leaf level. What has changed is the input. EC is down. The feed is simplified. The pH has drifted higher and is no longer being forced into correction. And that is fine. At this stage, the room is no longer being steered through numbers alone. It is being steered through response. Leaf posture. Water demand. Flower tension. Resin development. Overall plant rhythm. And the response remains strong. So the room stays steady. ⸻ What to Expect Next Now we watch how far she wants to carry herself. Over the next stretch, expect: * continued resin push * stronger aroma development * slower but heavier calyx swelling * more visible trichome maturity * reduced water demand * increased support demand * deeper finish expression across the flower surface What not to expect: * much more stretch * explosive new vertical growth * dramatic structural change * a fast finish just because the room is slowing She may still have another week. She may still have three. That depends entirely on how well the root zone and stored energy carry her through the final phase. And that is exactly what makes this stage worth watching. A real Tropicana tree 😍 She’s drinking more and I can see a slight change in bud color. Before harvest I’m aiming for amber trichomes and yellowing leaves so I’m getting my jeweler’s loop ready 🔎 This run has been pretty informative, I’m grateful for the skill and knowledge learned along the way. 02/05/25 Short facts: - 53cm high - Light is @80% but in a distance of 48cm - 650 ppfd - VPD @ 1.0 - but haven't got it higher than 0.9 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not much to report. She is still stretching and has grown a lot in the last seven days, but she is still quite compact.

So in my attemp to germinate Apple Fritter I had 5 seeds 4 light colored 1 dark. First 2 were light colored, and did not germinate in water. I placed them in a seperate potter. If they grow I will replant them. The dark colored seed did sprout a tail, and was dropped into the rock wool today. Should have a sprout in 2 to 3 days 🤞. Day 2; 48 hrs the Fat Bastard seed's root was long enough to go into soil today. I use Happy Frog soil for seedlings. The soil cup will stay on the heat mat insuring the temp is kept at 75°F. Day1; 24 hrs and the Fat Bastard seed has a visible tap root. I'll wait a little longer before putting it in soil. I like to see the root about a quarter inch before planting. Day 0; germination, paper towel method.

Hello everyone. Another week has flown by, and everything is going well with our girl. She's eating well, covered in trichomes, and the buds are dense and sticky. It looks like it's going to be an atomic yield. I think another two weeks, and she'll be fully ripe. As for the website, I don't know what happened, but after the update, it's been a real challenge. I can't upload videos, and uploading photos is a bit hit-and-miss. It's a bit nerve-wracking. If you're experiencing similar issues, please share in the comments. All feeds with nutes use either a whole ratio or combination of "Veg Mix" and "Bloom Mix"concentrates DILUTED in water until a total ppm of add in is reached using a (Total Dissolved Solids)TDS Meter measured in PPM (parts per million). The "Veg Mix" concentrate will eventually be added in smaller ratios and "Bloom Mix" concentrate what will eventually replace the "Veg Mix" concentrate entirely with the ppm and ratios listed when I feed. Veg mix recipe is on week 3. Bloom Mix recipe is on week 5. Day 42 Morning check after defoliation. PH solution seems to be working! Almost no new spread of the issue/deficiency (regardless of what it was) Checked ppfd and got UL470, LL460, UR450, and LR440 over each of the colas. Temp/humidity steady still at 1.0 VPD 74F/63%RH/33% IL Vent scraped a little soil off the top to see that it's still really moist so I likely wont be feeding until tomorrow morning. Soil seems somewhat compacted, and ph readings were slightly lower, but still perfect in the safe zone 3 readings: 6.44,6.57, and 6.42 for avg 6.476 Day 43 Normal stats on VPD - same 74F/63%RH/33% IL Vent. ppfd over colas UL 490, LL 480, UR 470, LR 460 Still showing a slow progression of spots and yellowing on oldest leaves (like day 5 from initial occurrence, so very slow compared to past spread) I feel ph on a stressed plant was the biggest factor. Soil is still mostly damp to about an inch from the top but will be feeding tomorrow morning. Day 44 Normal status with VPD 1.0 - 74F/63%RH/33%ILVent -- ppfd (after dunk) UL490, LL480, UR470, LR460 Calibrated meters and tested - prepared feed water- started with 3.5 gallons of 274ppm de-chlorinated tap- used 500ppm of 80/20 veg/bloom mix, pinch of epsom salt and squirt of h2o2. Checked soil ph got 3 readings of 6.55, 6.65, 6.52 for avg of 6.573 so I ph balanced my feed to 6.3ish Weighed pot for reference and saw 13lbs 10oz- dunked pot for 10 secs, lifted and hung over drain container - recorded the stream and drip videos when I then replaced and checked ppfd again. Runoff showed 6.3ish ph and 2000 ppm (lower than my normal ppm of 2500 to 2600 my hypothesis is she's using them up so good time to feed) rare side view of main-line base included with end of process pictures. Did some LST with binds to train colas to position - I plan for 6 to be tied to ring and 2 in the center but at the same height by the time they grow past the support ring - I have them tied at the base of the first node and the pot - the center 2 colas are being trained too, but are tied off to the opposite side directly to the plant. looks like a hot mess for now - hopefully my vision will come through in a few days. Day 45 Morning check after extensive LST yesterday - VPD is all stable 74F/63%RH/33%ILVent - not taking ppfd readings as she's still under the ring and I seen these readings yesterday and the day before - I plan on taking ph readings later today, but for now this is what I got. Took ph readings - think I discovered hot spots of the woodash washing around the top - not detrimental since they are all with-in the range Im okay with (6 to 7) but worth note since I retested several times and got the same readings in these locations. also did a little more LST with slightly adjusting for level Day 46 vpd was normal 75F/64%RH/33%IL Vent - ppfd needed adjustment as the outside limbs were down to about 460 - so I moved the lights down to about 30 inches from 32 - and now the light measured 480 at lowest 490 around most limbs and the center is up to 530 - I will watch for light burn in that space other than that all seems normal today, binds are still holding as placed and tops are turned/growing. the previous stress and nute issues seem to be in hindsight now. Day 47 Soil ph was 6.54, 6.38, and 6.55 for an avg of 6.49 (last 2 readings were taken at yesterday's hot spot, seems to have cooled a bit now.) VPD normal with temps/humidity about 74F/63%RH/33%ILVent --defoliated today so ppfds were taken after that, outer ring showed lowest at 470, and most at 480 with highest 490, and center colas 500 and 510 Defoliation of 16 oldest leaves at first node where my ties are bound. I left the growth tips for last. the leaves showed what I hope to be the last of the ph issues scared on them... very much better than the last ones I took off LST of the branches to ensure that ties are still under the first node and level the tops with the ring as much as possible - I feel the better I get this part the less there will be any need for LST or HST later so, last thing - I topped again for 16 total colas - I might be reaching too far, but am also thinking ... 1st time gains experience that I can adjust later in future grows. Also removed the growth tips from the first nodes. So what's left? a single branch into 2 into 4 into 8 into 16 with all of the tops cut at the first node except the last set of tops were taken at the 2nd node and first was at the 3rd node - there are no growth tips or fan leaves between the roots and the 16 colas (hopefully providing all resources to those points only from this point on) fingers crossed it doesn't kill her and she recovers better than in past toppings. Day 48 The tent is a little hotter than usual so I increased ILVent to 50% and reduced the heater by 2 degrees. So far there doesnt seem to be any issue showing on the plant but dont want it to become one either. So I will monitor the temps throughout the day as well. ppfd was nearly same as yesterday with 470 as the lowest and mostly 480 to 490 around the ring with 510 and 520 in the center no signs of stress so far from yesterdays barber visit but keeping a close eye on the burnt tips from before - I suspect that if there's any place for stress to show up, that would be where to look first.

Hello. It's been hot this week. I'm about 4 days from flush and I'll try to flush for 2 weeks. I've seen some fungus gnats, but I try to run a very healthy greenhouse. I've seen 3 different types of spiders helping me out this year. 2 different types of jumping spiders, several harvesters (Daddy long legs) and a bunch of small web spiders. I think a nest of web spiders hatched near by, their webs are about the size of your palm. And of course Paper Wasps. I allow to live in the greenhouse. (check out week 5 for more on that). >I going to make my own seeds this year. I want my females to be about 3 weeks ahead of the male on flowering. The male is under lights and checked every couple of days for flower sacks, NO preflowers sacks too. As i have said before that's a male Dr. Atomic Northern Lights. Going to be crossed with my Amnesia Lemon, Burmberry and Skunkberry. What I want is the Burmberry to have more solid buds. > Amnesia lemon has not had any powdery mildew this year nor has her sister had any. I've gotten some on the other 2 strains. I'm trying frequency changed water " White Wash" works great, knocks the pm right out. I'll see if I'll use it again I'll be able to tell on the smoke and taste test when it done. That's all for now. Day 79: 7th week of flowering. Things remain the same 600W lamp, 12/12, humidity like 50 percent, fertilization with Biobizz family on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Bat Guano on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. Water intake 400 ml per plant per day I start flushing the Zkittlez she is almost ready. Rest of them need more weeks to be done. Day 81: I removed unwanted fan leaves. I will not water them for 2 days on Saturday and Sunday to shock them a bit. Day 84: So today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday) No water for 24K Gold, Blue Sherbet S1, and Fruit Tree. Zkittlez in flush so she will be harvested soon I won't give her water the last 3 days.

Hi growmies! This is week no. 5 for the RQS Apple Fritter Automatic and it's doing really well. Last week she grew more than 20cm, which probably asked a lot of nutrition and led to some deficiencies. Luckily I always have some Bio Tabs Compost Tea to top up the nutrients. In addition, because the leafs were turning yellow, I added some Biobizz Cal Mag to the mix. This was exactly what she needed as now the leafs are no longer hanging, and the color has turned to a slightly darker green. I don't see any changes in the soil structure since I started with the Yuccah nutrition. Then again, it's also not having a negative effect so let's just stick with it (10ml per week) and see if it does something in the long run. Sometimes it slips my mind that soil always acts as a buffer so any changes in nutrition take some time before the effects are visible.
