Phwoah! Grow Genius silica came thru in a big way, blessing the Blue Paint crew with the rigidity we’d hoped for. One pheno has a slight curve to it and it’s now evident that they’re starting to break away from each other in phenotypical expressions by way of height, strength and leaf structure (possible variations in new growth width), but these might well be environmental influences rather than genetic. Seedling feeding regimen has been swapped out for the veg stack. The environment of the nursery tent saw a slight shift downward in temperature as the seasons press closer to winter but this didn’t stop progress, even after the Blue Paint crew got a repotting, increasing their root space 10 fold. With the increase in legroom they also got an upgrade to first class with a tent of their own as older auto tent sisters were shifted to their final grow space. Unfortunately this might only tide them over for a short while. The worry is, longer than expected flower cycles mean their final home, the photo tent, is still packed to the rafters with ripening flower and Blue Paint is coming up behind at an alarming rate. No choice but to play it by ear and possibly end up making some big purchases, drastic changes or tough calls. Ready and willing if it comes to it, fire genetics over bag seed all day long 😂. The Cookies ladies have been growing along side the Betty’s, doing their thing ❤️ The 2x4 is coming along, not quite as big and plump as my big tent, but producing some nice nugs nonetheless. The frost is starting! These girls were not as early producers, but seem to be responding well to the wind and light stress! The second trellis was definitely needed, even though they are not quite as tall as their grow mates. They have been keeping to the same schedule of needing to be watered every 72 hours. I will be switching from cal/Mag to Mag/Sulphur supplements later this week. I ❤️ how readily available these Advanced Nutrients are. 😎 The nutrient burn on some of the tips has not spread or gotten worse. The feed range seems to be the 700-750 range. Still keeping to the feed, water, feed schedule, with the 2nd feed being a much lighter dose of nutrients. I’ve increased the light intensity of the SF 4000 to 90% and will probably be stopping there. The temps have been getting as high as 81 degrees, and low as 73 at night. I’ve decreased the humidity to fluctuate around 50% , giving a reasonable VPD for most of the time, thanks to the automation of the in-line exhaust fan. Still have 4-5 weeks for these babies, I’m hoping they continue to plump up, they are showing some great promise. Happy Gardening 🤗❤️👊🇨🇦

Day 127 6-6 Started backing off on the light time and had to bring in a dehumidifier to bring down humidity. Strung some support up for the final weeks push. Continue to lower ppm's slowly getting her down to 15. Total Darkness coming soon.😎 This could be the last week t'ill harvest.

Well what can I say. I messed up big time with this one. The grow was scheduled to finish around day 100 and 3 out the 4 plants where done by then. Due to over stressing this one and over watering I completely messed it up. Trying to keep her going past the day 100 mark was a mistake because I have only got a small quantity for hash. Lesson learned on this one.

She is growing strong and healthy.

I'm continuing to flush all three and the #1 and #2 pheno's are really getting some beautiful coloration! The #3 plant that has struggled the entire run is so pale she almost looks white, but she's the terpiest of the three, which I think is due to the stresses that she's been under. All three cultivars are covered in frost, and on the #1 and #2 pheno's the trichomes even cover their shade leaves! 1/5- After checking the trichomes on all three I decided to begin their 72 hours in the dark when today's light cycle is finished. All three plants have 85-90% milky trichomes with 5% amber showing, and will continue to mature during the 72 hour dark period before they are hung to begin the drying process. 1/8- Well, today is the day! All three Strawberry Gorilla's were released from 3 days in 'dark🌑jail' and all three look absolutely gorgeous! 😍 All three Strawberry Gorilla's are loaded with trichomes, and each has its own unique terpene profile with the #3, shockingly the 'loudest' of the trio. The #2 is the best looking of the bunch IMO, with the #1 taking the middle slot. After taking some pic's of all three, I cut them each off at their base and hung them in my AC Infinity 4x4 to dry for 10-14 days. I have the tent equipped with a de-humidifier, humidifier, and a fan to keep the air gently circulating. It's winter here so I'm pulling in outside air into the tent which is keeping the temp's in the 55-60℉ range, and I'm keeping the RH at 50% for the first 24hrs, then I'll up it to 60% for the remainder of the hang time. Back to the 1000 wt as temps here are modest for July atm. Still 1 plant not flowering like the other 2. I will be patient as it’s overall structure looks amazing. Slowly easing into the process not as much anxiety about every little thing. Changed my light out for my lower power 600 wt led instead of the 1000wt TMLAPY. Maybe not the right move i really don't know what to do b/c i have tip burn and my tent gets a bit hot in the low 80s when its in the 90s here in Illinois. I have an makeshift cooler w fan and some fans and my exhaust fan system which im pretty sure is under powered and overall and bad beginner purchase. I will upgrade as soon as i can financially afford to. Also had flooding issues in basement which is always an adventure, i eventually need a better way to get my grow tent up off the ground b/c water does get in there sometimes. Doing everything in my power to avoid mold and have fans and filters and cleaning, but again this may have been a beginner mistake and i may have to find a new home for the tent for the next time. Also I definitely had been under watering the girls and came close to one of them dying and have to remove some yellow leaves at bottom, they all look stable now. 1 out of 3 plants has a darker color and looks fuller and healthier w less tip burn but it is shorter only has a couple of hairs where the other 2 are going full on into flowering with so many hairs and growing much taller. Possibly stunted the growth... Anyway the word of the day for this week is TIP BURN. I will submit a question to follow. i recently uploaded a video that should show all 3 plants w the tip burn.

So close to harvest. This week and last I reduced the amount of TPS1 in the feed from 15ml /gal to 10ml/g. Early in the week, Apollo's lower leaves started showing the fade using up the nutrients. Thursday, I did a preliminary trim to remove any fan leaves and feeder leaves with longer stems. just handling the stems and buds my hands, nails and arms were sticky. After the trim, I put Apollo's Friends back in the tent with her. When the plants were in different veg/flower cycles, I separated them into tents. GDP and zkittles grew with in 2-3 inches on the light. I could not raise the lights anymore. Today, 11/19 is day Apollo's 69 day and 41 in flower. The harvest window per RQS is 70-75 days from seed. Tuesday will be the harvest day. After watering only 2 liters with Vit B, Recharge and Signal yesterday, I put her in the 3#x3tent in the dark. Apollo's buds are thick, dense, stinky citrus floral and sticky. The sugar leaves are showing color change as she knows her life is ending in glory. I am so proud of this grow. I didn't overfeed so I have experienced the color fade to yellow as foods are used up and the delicate colors emerge in the sugar leaves. I am very impressed with Royal Queen Seeds F1 genetics. So much so I bought Milky Way F1 and Medusa F1. I will definitely have another Apollo grow in January. Thank you @James at RQS. Apollo F1 had a huge base stem and was multi branching-even the side stems had side stems. The stems were sturdy. No support is needed for her branches She stayed short at 26 inches tall. I definitely pushed her on the watering. When I saw no runoff after 2.5 liters of water, I upped to 3 ltr. Then 3.5, then 1 gallon. I watered 2 liters, let the water absorb, then slowly add another 2 liters. There was a small amount of run off at the time of watering but was all gone by the next day. It could have been evaporation, but I really think it was consumption. Consumption is an indicator of yield. As densely bushy as she is, I'm estimating at least 90 grams. So for future grows, especially for very bushy plants, I will defoliate at least 2x during early and midflower to open up the canopy and let the plants bulk up more. She did show some nutrient (cal-mag) deficiency and for the next Apollo grow, I will push the feed a bit. I'm excited and a bit sad to see this grow come to an end at the same time. The pound cake auto so far is an amazing plant. It has grown great and is super strong. Honestly it might be the strongest growing plant I have ever grown The weather is starting to warm up a bit it has been below freezing for over 30 days and now the snow is starting to melt finally it’s a lot easier to keep the humidity on point when it’s like 32 outside compared to 10

my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 60 days and flowering stage was 70 days total (harvested tops at day 63th) the total weight of dry buds was : top buds 174 G + lower buds 55 G = 229 G my overview of strain with details: the seeds: unfortunately i only got 1 seed cracked out of 5 so i will not know how much this genetic can get different but at least i got the chance to grow once of this wonderful strain the plant : in every stage you can ensure that you are dealing with a high level plant , she will get big so you have to control her height LST and SCROG highly recommended , will grow very well with tick stalks and big fan leaves , has good resistance for stress and will respond very well to stress trainings , she really has gorilla power in herself , fresh buds on plant : buds are very compact and dense even from start , fresh blossoms smells like pineapple and mango , 2 different shades of sweet smells like you hold 2 junks of pineapple and mango in your hand and you smell them together, she is a trichome and resin factory , very very sticky , very oily , strong smell dried buds: very compact and dense , hard as rocks , has dark colors with purple hues inside it , it smells sweet smoke : very smooth and sweet like lollipop , pineapple , mango like , after 2 minutes it'll kick in and you'll get higher and higher with every breath , has a strange and especial high mind high mostly
