Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Now two more weeks

In der Woche wurde noch nicht viel getan außer nach Gefühl zu wässern und den Ladys beim wachsen zuzuschauen. Dazu gab es nur jeweils 1ml/L PowerRoots von Plagron. Schwer zu sagen was jede Lady bekommen hat. Es waren vielleicht alle zwei Tage ca 250-300ml. Ich hab nur auf das Topfgewicht geachtet. Die erste kleine Hitzewelle haben die Ladys gut überstanden und wachsen prächtig. Die ersten Anzeichen der Seitentriebe machen sich auch so langsam startklar. I’ll update ya’ll on the smells and tastes after drying and curing! So far both are packed with ice and smell very potent, a little overpowering still, so I want to give it some time before they’re cures and can show their true terpene profile!

12/5 Harvest more info when dry in about 5 days Think all her problems in veg due to the soil mix as later after that was corrected she was just a pleasure to grow. To the ladies out there, you can grow a house plant you can grow this with some patience and the help you get here. Not enough women growers out here!

Week 1 flowering - Day 5 of flowering & Day 61 of life Finally flowering here. It’s been 5 days on flowering, still pre flowering but finally the best is coming. Black gum looks healthy and it grows many branches sides. It’s hard work to maintain but we never give up. Chasing good flavor, nice taste and good vibes on this one 🙏🏼

Hello everybody, I think she responded well to the bending of the top, but i believe what she has might be nute burn so i ll cut on the nutrients this week and see what happens. Im starting to notice a slower groth, i hope i wont have to bend it no more . Also the bottom leaves droped , some naturally some with little help. Guys. Holy shit these genetics are fuckin fire.. assuming the next 4 weeks go fine. Day 27 of flower These trigger so damn fast, stacked so many bracts from day 21 to day... we’re not even to day 28 guys. These look like day 35 shit. Oh my goodness this is impressive if I may say so. Now the main thing is gonna he not fucking up the feeds. These are tiny containers and we are having salt build ups as a result of the quick dryback. Flushing tomorrow with light nutes to cleanse any of that BS These all look amazing. Week 5 already of Guava. She finally reached a good size and the first pistils started to show. Very excited about her stretching and the growth in the next weeks. Had some aphids this week, but spotted them early and could just remove them (about five or six only). So far no new are visible, but will watch closely.

Chopped down and trimmed 2 of my plants today at the end of their 2 week flush, will cut down the last plant next week and put my harvest weight up for the 2 plants worth of dried bud. Took about 4 hours to trim the 2 and I'm happy with the results, not sure how much is there but I'd rather weight til it's dry before I weigh it. There was also some strange looking new growth at the base of one of the plants, quite a few shoots with flowers so went through it and got about 30 good looking seeds out of it bit weird in my opinion but fair enough.. gonna carry these with me in a tin and plant them wherever I see a good spot outdoors and see what happens 😋 Hung them up today to dry as I didn't realize they would eventually go flat and take ages to dry if left in the trays 🙄🙄 should be alright now hopefully 🤞 The bud are nice and dry now after 5 days hung up, gonna leave them up another day as I've got some bovida 62 packs coming tomorrow that I'm gonna put in the jars 😊 gonna chop down the rest of the last plant tomorrow as well then hang that up to dry.

Fastbuds gelato is a nice plant to grow, She is really vigourus and lush and has a lot of side stems. One of the nice things is that all the buds even the ones in the bottom are very dense and as good as the ones above. She was not as big as the gelato in my firts grow also the buds are not as big as the first time, but they are covered in trichomes. I like this pheno a bit more then the other one because the taste is better this time, and it was allready phenomenal. So if you want some delicious weed fast i can recommend it. 😋

Well, as you guys can see, I broke another branch which ended up topping her on one side, and she has this Y shape going on. I'm not mad about it.. Hopefully she ends up looking pretty cool.Been better yet smoking even better..
