Hello Diary. I am very happy that we are starting again. I’m going back to Automatics again. Many thanks to Royal Queen Seeds for sending me two of their new strains, Green Gelato Automatic and HulkBerry Automatic. So this is the first of two new diaries. WHY GREEN GELATO AUTOMATIC? Green Gelato Automatic is the autoflowering version of a legendary cannabis variety. The original strain is the lovechild of Thin Mint Cookies and Sunset Sherbet. LET THE DIARY START OFFICIALLY: 10/06/2020. planting. I have prepared everything I need for planting. The 11lit fabric pot I got from RQS, also Organic Boost Nutrition and Mycorrhizza from RQS, Soil is Light-Mix from BioBizz and of course the seed of the new strain Green Gelato Automatic. After adding 50g of pellets from Organic Nutrition and 5g of Mycorrhizze, I mixed everything well in the pot. After that I watered well and soaked the soil, I dug a hole with a wooden stick about 2-3 cm, I first put 1g of mycorrhize and then put the seeds inside. I lightly covered the hole with earth and put the pot in his new home. The temperature was about 25 degrees and the humidity about 65%. 14/06/2020. She sprouted. After 4 days, Green Gelato came out. In the meantime, I sprayed the surface of the earth a little twice. The temperature is still around 26 degrees, thanks to the summer and the high temperature that enters the apartment anyway. I regulate the humidity with a humidifier, I maintain it around 60% -65%. 15/06/2020. Her first photo shoot, I also watered her with about 2 liters of water, which I only regulated p.H. at 6.3 with Plagron, Lemon Kick. 19/06/2020. Day 1. Green Gelato is officially one day old. On that occasion I took another photo shoot to celebrate this big day :). 24/06/2020. First Feeding First feeding. She got a whole meal from BioBizz, Root-Juice, Bio-Heaven and Acti-Vera, p.H of water I regulated with Lemon Kick from Plagron. 25/06/2020. Day 7. End of the first week. For now, everything is great. It is developing nicely, its conditions are almost perfect. Green Gelato will also have two roommates in the box, HulkBerry Automatic. 9 Dec - 15 Dec. Was her last week. She her at her glory before getting choped and dried.

3/14: Came back from a 4 day vacation to a lot of dry, wilted, dead leaves on Amnesia. Trainwreck is super starved as well. My automatic watering system didn't kick on, and the humidifier ran out of water within 24 hours, so there's that. It may be for the better though, as the PH of the nutrients had risen to 7.5. I tossed that mix, and made another 2 gallons of half strength nutes, molasses and epsom salt. I watered them both to runoff, and now I'll wait for Amnesia to prioritize which leaves she thinks are worth saving, and then I'll defoliate the dead ones. Hopefully trainwreck will just bounce back to green. She needed to be defoliated anyway, so this situation makes it easier for me to find the dead leaves. Edit: Came back to feed the last of the nutes and decided to pluck the crispy goners. I found that pulling the leaf stem downward will make the most dead leaves fall right off, allowing me to test a majority of the leaves and give Amnesia a major haircut. Luckily I left a lot of leaves from prior defoliation, as Amnesia REALLY sucked them dry. 3/15: Amnesia looks no worse for wear than last night. Trainwreck as well. Went ahead and pulled as many dead leaves off Trainwreck as I could. Some leaves were a mix of crispy brown and healthy green, which I think is pretty goofy, so I avoided taking any green fans but removed the crispy ones. The colors of the leaves around the buds are really fun to look at. 3/16: Amnesia is starting to SHED her dead leaves, allowing me to pick the leaves with almost no effort. I tested as many leaves as I could, giving another haircut. I would say this isn't a good thing, but since it's my first grow, I'm rolling with it. As long as Amnesia keeps the buds and its nearest leaves alive, it will slowly grow, albeit stunted. I'm not sure if this condition will cause it to finish sooner, but I'm going to need to watch the trichomes under a microscope every couple of days just in case she's ready for harvest. Trainwreck looks about the same as it did before. No new leaves are ready to be removed there yet. 3/19: Amnesia is still shedding leaves, but also bulking up. Trainwreck is slowly bulking up, and turning purple as well! Going to keep an eye on Amnesia's trichomes. Edit: because amnesia is yellowing so much, and because it's been 5 days, I'm going to feed both plants a quarter strength nutrient mix just in case I've been overfeeding them somehow.

Very happy and healthy plant.. i look forward to flipping her to flower with the other two I have going in the next couple weeks.. I like variety.. I'm excited for this one Atlas seeds has not let me down yet..Happy Easter to everyone God bless and happy growing 🙏

Outside of issues that were due to my learning curb definitely happy with the results. The plant that is actually dolato has such a wonderful scent. If it was certain that I would 5 of 5 dolato plants instead of 2 out of 5 with a Gelato I would do it again

D22 - It is the 6th day of planting in soil and the change is amazing. She grows very fast. Topping: I pinched the plant above the 5th node to mail-line the plant in future. D24 - After the topping, I gave two days to her to recover herself. I want to have two main branches. To achieve this, I removed 4 new emerging stems and left only 2 stems in the middle. For those stems to get more light (and grow more), I removed the top two leaves, too. I watered her, sprayed and left her to rest. Watering schedule decreased to 1 in 2 days which I interpret as she will need a pot change within a week. D27 - I change the pot to 11-litre regular pot. Her growth was stalled due to topping, but I hope she will recover quickly after changing the pot. I always put Bat Guano to the soil when I change the pot. Powder Bat Guano 100% dissolve in the soil after 10 weeks and it coincides with the mid/late flowering when she is growing vigorously. It is fertilizing the plant even after the flush with. I flushed the whole pot to merge soil with the plant.

Sour livers is going to be BIG ( not into full flower ) Auto Blues has some massive leaves ( not into full flower ) Sour Crinkle is flowering nicely 24" tall Sour Stomper looks like it has been stomped and flowering Toof Decay well its just sad. F*** im bummed ( F*** it) Santa ana winds came back so its 78° and 0% humidity. See the pre flowers in the last 2 pics. That's #8 Sour livers. She is the one to watch. She is impressive. ( don't worry she is all female ) But she must be one tough female. That all folks, thanks for coming and have a good night. Sour Stomper and Toof Decay have been trashed. Killed both they just weren't going to come around. Pollinated sour livers on 2 / 2 / 18 on week 6, the structure was way to hard to pass up. She was pollinated outside of the greenhouse. I'm sure the pollen will spread. So the male is a photo ( Cherry pie × Bubble gum ) i will put photos of the males in update.

Truffle Jordan is growing well. I’m surprised it’s doing so well seeing it started out as a weird little deformed seedling from the start. I thought it was gonna be a mutant but I guess not. It’s actually growing better than the one I had as a back up

Plants are starting to get me worried they turned light green after the banana 🍌 tea and are looking droopy! Any suggestions you guys?
