Sep 5: Purple Ghost Candy continues to bloom and the buds are filling in. She is the tallest and most sativa leaning of my four plants. No signs of any problems and heading for the finiah in a few weeks. Right on track for my early schedule to use the good light before it gets too weak in the fall.

Just fattening and stacking this week! ❤️ the colours are popping, the tricomes are carpeted, these ladies are just beautiful 😍 I’ve been keeping the airflow high, it’s been hot and humid here, making sure these beauties don’t develop any issues in the last few weeks. No signs of pests, or PM, I did a small defoliation to help increase the airflow, as well as unblock some sites for that last push at growth. Can’t wait for these to be wrapped up, some of the best development I’ve seen with my homegrown yet!

Removed the damaged leaves and topped 4 of the plants. One of them is looking really light green/yellow-ish. That plant also has some weird growth, some deformed leaves and hardly any branching. The others are fine. Tried using some of my 12 years expired Canna Terra Vega.

Shes looking good. Still has those light spots shes growing fine so im not worried. I had my math wrong for the nutes last week and fixed that this week i have to remember i planted her two weeks after the blueberry so shes gonna be smaller but the past few days she started getting a little taller im excited to see her start to stretch. Feeding them 1.5 litre now and theyre drying out almost every other day. 3 days later and shes already dry so i gave her an extra litre of water this feed. Made sure to adjust the math for the nutes Shes getting even taller but her leaves were small and bunched up and were keeping alot of light from the buds in the crotches so i took a decent amount off but left a good amount. The pistils are starting to turn to buds so im excited to that start Nothing to complain about.

Day 51 - Into the beginnings of week 8 and all is looking good so far. She’s still got a few days before she needs any water and she’s really fattening up each day. Other than that, not much happening with her. Day 52 - She’s definitely fattened up quite a bit the last couple of day but hard getting the light spread out to some of her outer branches so my new light should be here and installed tomorrow. She’ll be needing her watering tomorrow as well, she’s almost dry. Day 53 - Gave her 2 gallons of plain pH’d water today and she seems to be the only one not really bothered by the heat in the tent. I’m doing what I can to keep things as cool as I can but not helping much. Either way, this girl still seems to be thriving so not complaining too much about her. Day 54 - Looks good after watering yesterday, he next will be nutes. She is fattening up beautifully. Other than that, I think she’s really liking the second light in there and the heat doesn’t seem to bother her too much though it’s finally cooling down a bit. Day 55 - Nothing major happening today, she’s doing good after her watering yesterday and it appears she’s still chunking up. Got some updated pictures today as well.

Week 10 Flower — The Beauty Before the Finish This week marks a very special chapter in the Eternity Grow Cup. As we approach harvest, the garden is simply glowing with beauty. Every corner, every canopy, every branch tells a story — and this week, I’ve taken the time to slow down and capture that story as best I can through the lens of my camera. All the photos you’ll see in this update were taken with care and intention. I use my Sony camera in full manual focus mode, and I don’t just snap and go — I spend time with each plant, each angle, waiting for that perfect moment when everything aligns. These are not just photos to document — they’re my attempt to reflect the feeling of the room, the energy of the grow, and the soul of each plant. Just like with the videos, I don’t shoot randomly and decide later. I record what matters, and what I record, I use. It keeps me focused, organized, and deeply connected to the process — and I believe it helps me tell the story more clearly, whether through stills or moving pictures. All five Runtz phenos are finishing beautifully. Each one expressing unique traits, but all carrying the same stunning quality — dense, clean, colorful, resin-rich flowers that fill the room with pride. This garden is finishing spotless, and I couldn’t be happier. This week’s YouTube episode will reflect that beauty. If you’re seeing this here on GrowDiaries, I highly recommend checking it out in full 4K once it’s live — there are moments that simply can’t be translated in photos alone, even though I try my best. But for those who love the details, the full spread of pictures is right here, as always. t this point in flower, the girls are not eating — they’re just drinking clean water with nothing but System Clean in the reservoir, at a rate of 0.25 ml per liter. This is part of a gentle, prolonged flush phase I like to implement, giving the plants a chance to metabolize and fade naturally. The goal is to promote clean, vibrant flowers that finish with optimal expression, without rushing the process. No forced flush, just time and care. Lighting-wise, the spectrum has been tuned with precision — we’re currently running 40% on the whites, with reds and UVs at 100% to drive trichome development, resin production, and color expression in these final days. The plants are loving it — they’re soaking in the deeper wavelengths that signal the end of their life cycle and responding with a final push of energy. And yes — we’ve been running 11 hours of light and 13 hours of darkness from the very start of flower. It’s not the usual 12/12, and it comes with its pros and cons. On the upside, it helps speed up ripening slightly, encourages more compact flower formation, and mimics the natural seasonal decline in daylight. On the flip side, it slightly reduces the overall DLI (daily light integral), so you need to ensure your PPFD and spectrum are dialed in just right to avoid sacrificing yield. For me, the trade-off is worth it — the plants are expressing themselves beautifully, finishing strong, and packing on the final magic. Now it’s your turn — I’d love to hear from you. Which phenotype is standing out the most to you in this garden? Which one is catching your eye with its colors, its fade, its structure, or just that vibe that speaks to your soul? Is it the frost? The density? The posture? Each of these girls has her own personality, and I know many of you have been following closely — so drop a comment, let me know: which one is your favorite? Which one would you take home? This run has officially earned the Dog Doctor Official Wax-Sealed Stamp of Approval. These genetics are beautiful — expressive, vibrant, clean. It’s been a joy to grow them, and an even greater joy to share this journey with all of you. Of course, we still have the final word coming after harvest, drying, and curing — that’s when the full picture reveals itself. But until then, based on everything we’ve seen and lived in this grow… this is the real deal. To everyone following the journey — thank you. To the sponsors, the community, the silent observers, the passionate growers, the haters, the lovers — I see you all, and I appreciate every bit of energy you send. This cup has been about more than just growing. It’s been about sharing. Connecting. Creating something beautiful together. And we’re almost there. Next stop: harvest? provably yes lets see ! Chopped on Day 70 (September 6th, 2020) 9/6/20: Hung her to dry after taking off most of her fan leaves. I decided to hang the whole plant this time around to see if it helps my dry quality. Will update with pictures soon. 9/12/20: Trimmed her up today after feeling that the nugs were crispy and dry. First couple days of dry we were experiencing a bit of a heat wave and high humidity levels (fluctuating from 60-75%). During the final days of drying we had rain and then it cooled off and dried out lowering my rh in the tent to around 50%. That crisped the nugs right up in 2 days and I decided it was time to pull her out and trim her up. The nugs were so incredibly sticky and smelled of chem. They are really dense despite their look especially the main cola nugs. Still smelling a bit like hay but I'm confident that the curing process will take care of that. I am curing with Boveda 58% rh packs in each jar and a hydrometer as well. Not going to test a nug until at least a week or two of curing or until I run out of Sour Crack lol. Will update with a smoke report. 9/28/20: So it's been just over 2 weeks of curing so far. When I first put the nugs in the jar, I was worried they were a bit too dry/crispy for what I was hoping for, but after 2 weeks of curing the nugs aren't as crackly sounding in my hands. I cured with Boveda 58% rh packs and mason jars as seen in the pictures. **SMOKE REPORT** 9/28/20 - 2 weeks of curing: The smell of this strain is a really unique one, or maybe the pheno that I got is. It smells fruity for sure but it has this gas smell to it that almost smells chemical but in a good way. I marked down tropical above because the combo of pungent fruit almost brings out a sweet cocktail aroma. After really thinking about it, I've never smelled weed with a scent quite like this one! The smoke was smooth in my freshly cleaned bong and I'm decently high. I feel pretty tired but I'm ready to do something like game or make music. I don't feel hungry (yet) but my throat is begging for a drink. I'm happy that I have now smoked my own home grown weed twice!

Looks like close to the end with these 3 that are left standing. They are all still drinking it up, so I'm still pumping the nutes through them. One has some pretty heavy nugs and has the serious lean going. The tallest one of course. Just looking at them, the one that came down already was almost 2 oz. I'm guessing about another 3-4 oz to come out of the remaining 3. It's some heavy, greasy, dripping with trichs kinda weed. Perfect.

Hello to all growers. This week has been quiet, my leaves are turning a bit yellow, but hopefully some food will fix that. Otherwise, I am very satisfied, the volume of the drumsticks has increased by 100 percent. I assume from the trichomes that another two weeks, maybe a little longer. Keep it growing friends 👊🌱🌴

I mean this genetics it's excellent ... if I would grow zombie kush again ... good job ripper seed ... she fought and was very strong against the plagues after a beginning outdoors ... she fought against the white fly. worms .. red spider and other insects ... and deserves your recognition ... it will not be the most beautiful plant with its leaves impeccable ... but she is a champion ... thank you ripper seed .. .

This was the last week of flowering and therefore I stopped giving any nutrients for a good FLUSH. This is very important in order to avoid a harsh smoke later when the plants are dried, because any nutrients left in the plant will burn your throat and the weed will hurt while you smoke it. Both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants have developed well and carry hefty top buds on each side branch and also the main cola. The lower regions also carry buds, but those are a little more fluffy and not so big and dense as the top buds. Every bud is COVERED IN TRICHOMES and the plants glisten in the light, they are FROSTY AS HELL! The plants have a STRONG AROMA now, which is sweet and peachy with hints of sandalwood. They smell ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and I cant wait to try the dried end-product. All in all I can only recommend this strain, its not the biggest yielder, but definitely delivers connoisseur grade weed. Hats off to Mat from House of the Great Gardener in Canada, he has made another GREAT cross and I hope he will release this variety soon! 👍😍😎
