I moved my AKs down on the shelve. Up high, higher temperatures, more humidity. I had to move them since they were almost touching the bulbz

This week I had to harvest the main cola of one plant (the trichomes were all white with some amber). Actually the plant didn’t appear ready at all, because the strain continued to produce white pistils. Results are 93 grams (before drying)

5/8/2023 - Day 71: Start to week 11, and this will be the final week. Watered again today with 4 gallons mixed with Coconut Powder. I'm getting close to 5% to 10% amber, so I am just about where I want to be. I plan to chop them this weekend, which will put me at day 76 or 77. The two Grand Prix could probably go I bit longer, but the Ice Bath and Frozen White Runtz need to come down. 5/12/2023 - Day 75 Flower: chopping in two more days. Dropped the temps a bit more and turned the light down one more. Normally I'd be watering, but I'm just going to let them ride it out until the end.

Plants are picking up weight. It’s a heavy eater but she is finicky. This was my first run to get a great growing plant and I found one. Cloned it and I’ve potted it already. I will start a new blog to capture how the plant really grows.

7/24/23 - Day 42 - Ok, so where to start? I'm going to go over the last couple days of issues/troubleshooting. We had an issue with the lights not coming on for a whole day/night cycle. That was a couple of days ago, and everything seems okay since then. I had some Canoeing/tacoing on the leaves once the lights were back on. I think I had the PH too low, 5.8. In flower, I should start moving it up the scale. Once I corrected the PH to 6.2, the canoeing/tacoing in the leaves seemed to be gone/almost gone. I'm REALLY worried about the height of the plant. She is only 12 in. from the light that I cannot move. I added a second scrogg net???? I don't know if that's done a lot, but I'm going to try and stop if from growing straight up. I think the best I can do is give it a lean. So Ill call this the ScoggGL (GangstaLean). You'll see some pictures up top as I start the ScoggGL I did the first big trim and pulled a 3-gallon bucket of fan leaves out. I cut off a few side branches I didn't want the plant to waste energy on. I trimmed so many leaves off it was crazy. The smells have been awesome! You all know the smell of the fresh plant stems and leaves as you trim and rub across them. It's one of my favorite smells, which is in full effect. I noticed that I have some pistils growing. I know what that means, shes going to have some flowers here in the next week. I couldn't be more excited!!!!! The roots are just downright ruthless; they have been growing out of control. I have a great picture of them in there with no water. I should note that I did two things that might have solved the Tacoing in the leaves. It could have been one or the other, but it also could be a combo of both things. I did the trimming to get some airflow between the leaves and changed the target for my PH from 5.8 to 6.2. When moving into flowering, I should have already done that. But I did both things while the leaves were Tacoing, and now they are not. I wanted to make sure I noted that. 7/26/23 - Day 44 - Things are looking great. No more tacoing, she's growing and still drinking about 2+ gallons a day of water. I hope the vertical growth stops soon, I want to remove a ton more fan leaves, and I'm hoping that it spends more time growing around than up, I'm keeping some leaves on just to slow some vertical growth. 7/27/23 - Day 45 - She's sleeping right now, but I will chop some more fan leaves when she wakes up. She's growing too tall, and I need to find a way to stop her. I think shocking her system will help stunt her growth. How crazy is this, what a conundrum I'm in. Normally I stress out trying to find the right time to trim to avoid stunting growth. I always keep my plants busy and do one or two chops. I think they need to grow as mother nature intended. Let them grow and do one, maybe two fan leave chops. That's always been my motto and its always worked out great for me. This is now the exact opposite. Feels weird even thinking about it, doing a leave chop two weeks into flower..... ARE YOU INSANE!!!!!! Lol The 2nd chop has happened. I took a ton of fan leaves off. It's time for the plant to slow down heal and start working on the buds! Let's see how this goes over the next couple of days. I added a timelapse of me chopping her up. 7/28/23 - Day 46 - After adding more water last night, I was checking PH, and I did a quick check on the ppm from the nutes. If it went from 600ppm down to 130ppm in a couple of days. So we decided to give her another dose of nutes so she has something to eat. I'll update you after she wakes up for the day. The girls are starting to get really heavy, we may be forced to cage the rest for support, we couldn't move them much this week for fear of them collapsing..not recognizing or stopping the runaway stretch soon enough has come back to bite us..lesson learned about this strain.. the canopy is terribly uneven lol, we're just kinda letting them do their own thing at this point, we did drop 1 of 2 lights to accommodate the shortest of the group. The buds on this strain are incredibly dense, it looks like it will be some pretty good smoke ..we'll likely cut all feed by the end of this week, giving them roughly 2-3 to flush out..thanks for reading if you made it this far and happy harvests friends!!! 😽💨❤️💡🌱 https://youtu.be/KZXdy_l_b_A ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~ 10/04/21 😾 Well it happened, they finally buckled lol, this bud is super dense..and more popcorn than we usually get ( ill make hubby clean it lol 😸) but even that will have some weight to it. We staked 2 of 3 plants and decided to switch to ph water for the remaining 3 weeks (or so)..thanks for stopping by grow family and happy harvests!! 💡🌱❤️😽💨 ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~

Week 6 These girls stretched like 10cm in a week had to control them. Defoliation followed by SCROG technique to help control the height. Fertilizers Plagron: grow 4ml , bloom 5 ml , Vita race 4ml, power bud 1 ml , power roots 1ml . Pest: applied spider boom as a preventive measures. Always better to prevent 1ml per liter sprayed on the leafs bottom and top. I am growing other strains but nothing is bushier or bigger than the Lemon Orange. This strain is definitely strong and easy to grow so far.

Hello. This is the end of week 6 and the beginning of week 7 of flowering. Man! I got spider mites. I haven't had to deal with them in years. It's a good thing I have a bit of insight and bought a Hypochlorous Acid maker. I was watering the plants 6 days ago and saw some minor spider mite damage. I got my device up and going with 1 gallon of water and 2 tsp of pure salt and 3 tsp of white vinegar. It ran for 45 minutes and it was done. The device turned that into Hypochlorous Acid. I posted the article I read, in last weeks pictures or the week before that. So far I've sprayed twice and I don't see any more leaf damage. I've still got 3 or 4 weeks more till harvest so I'll keep watch and spray some more. The acid is supposed to knock out Powder Mildew and aphides too. I'll have to try it on my zucchini plants that seem to get PM each year. I'm getting some yellowing leaves on the bottom too, which is normal. We've had no rain for 3 months now and I'm out of rainwater so I'm using dechlorinated water. I fill up 5 gallon drinking water jugs and let them sit around for a few days to dissipate the chlorine. Have some summer fun. Chuck.
