End of week 10 - Day 70 / 35 of flower Another good week at the parlour. A lot of hours spent in the tent yoyo-ing the biggest colas. Half way through the week nearly all of them had fallen over so I had a full evening trying to make some space and hanging them up. I messed up a feed at the beginning of the week and over fertilised them with PK which can be seen on some leaves. For the last 3 feeds they've been on only 0.5ml per litre to try and reverse a bit of the damage. After today they come off PK completely and onto the BioGreen X-Blast. Obviously with this being my first grow I have nothing to properly compare too just other diaries. Only 1 or 2 of my friends grow their own medicine but regardless I've never seen weed like this (in person) in my life. The frostiness is next level. Even with the lights on you can see just how many Trichomes these have produced. It's looking like they will only need another 3 weeks. Plan is to carry on following the feed chart for for another 2 weeks and if I see any signs of cloudy Trichs I'll start to flush them untill they are 50/50 cloudy and amber. I really hope these keep going strong. I just cant wait untill I can pack a bong and take a rip of my very own home grown weed!

Flush is on! A gallon a day each of pH’ed tap water for the next week and a half to 2 weeks. Fall colors galore incoming! One is already going mad purple as I started it on the flush a bit earlier.

Here we are guys starting week 2 of flower and this beauty is starting to pick up pace! Zamnesia Seeds again with strong genetics.. 💪 i haven't been exactly fragile with this young lady .. there has been some domestic disputes going on getting her ready for her pageant .. i'm just glad plants don't talk because if they did mine would call the cops lol .. I'm looking forward in the next week or two to introduce the plant to her new Plagron nutrients!!!!hope everyone is having fun in the contest and their plants are growing, according to their plans.. to everyone else, happy growing, and to all God bless 🙌 ✌️. Day 42: so today, I uploaded a quick video showing just how wide this girl is along with the picture to show that she is at least a couple weeks in flower.. i fed today silica, cal mag and for the very last time Maxibloom... from here on out, we will be using Plagron nutrients and I am very excited to see how my lady reacts to her new feeding... as you can tell, i've been training this girl to be wider than tall.. i have been using trainers to keep the canopy even versus super cropping, which essentially would do the same thing. But I don't want the plant to have to recover, especially when weeks 3 to 5 are the most important for bud building.. next update we'll be using Plagron for the rest of the grow.. good luck to have one new tournament. This week marked a turning point in the photoperiod grow. The plants continued to establish themselves in their new 3-gallon pots, showing strong vegetative growth and handling training well. Early in the week, I topped and spread out the branches, guiding the canopy into an even structure. Light LST adjustments kept new growth sites exposed, and I tucked large fan leaves when needed to balance airflow and light penetration. Midweek, I gave them a feed of Cal-Mag and silica, splitting about a gallon between the two. This coincided with the new auto-watering bases being filled, so the roots stayed consistently hydrated while still benefiting from the light top watering. The steady moisture helped them bounce back quickly from the topping and training stress.

Very pleased with the state of the Chemdawg bonsai, the ceramic cupcake reveal is working nicely. Still need to clean up those roots once they firm up a bit. She's also starting to show pre-flowers now. Meanwhile, the main Chemdawg is looking great, the octo-colas are shaping exactly like I hoped, and she's mostly outgrown the overwatered thing. That said, she's a very fast grower and I'm running out of horizontal room. I'll probably need to top her again just to slow her down compared to her tent-mate (Lemon Tart Pucker, growing in a much more indica fashion). Tent is still holding at 600 PPFD, 82 F (28 C) daytime temps, target VPD of 1.0. Did another Rootwise soak across the tent this week, plants seemed to enjoy it.

The addition of an enzyme has produced amazing results that were shocking and worrying at first. Massive rise in EC and PH every 24 hours from 5.3 - 6.8. Research yet no sign of any harm to the plants, in fact they seem very happy! The enzymes has created an environment friendly to the beneficial microbes and fungi that has lead to a feeding frenzy (Which wouldn't have happened ad I used Hygrozyme from the start.). EC rises a point or two as the microbes and plants expel waste and create a plethora of negative charged hydrogen ions. Thus, the PH rises. Never above 6.8, strangely. Because the microbes are eating and shitting so well, they have added a lot of chilated nutrients that are easier for the plants to uptake at a wider range of PH (Yes, some as high as 6.8). The fact that there are so many bunches of calyxes sprouting and exploding, filling in the flower space is proof enough for me.
