Hey guys, Into week 8 and the ladies have bushed out considerably even after last week's defoliation! I will have to plan to defoiliate again this upcoming week! The plants are doing well, I have not watered these plants since Monday of this week and we had 2 large t-storms roll through the past 2 days. I will be holding off watering since they got allot of rain water. This comming week I will be planning to possibly top but mainly to start our 2nd round of amendments. Sticking to same formula of 2tsb per gal of 70/30 ratio 444 to 284. I also found the holy grail of prevent maint for fungus gnats. This stuff I found at my ls call aquabac mosquito larvacide. Works great on gnat larvae. All you need is to use 1-2 tbs in a tea bag and let it soak in water for 24-48hr before watering. Hopfully it will prevent any fg infestation. A very cool strain to grow 😀👌 4 on 4 germination rate gave me 4 nice and robust plants. One plant was taller and different from the 3 others one. The red one was a real beauty 😍

It's been 22 days now that my plants are in bloom I removed the scrog net because I realized that it slowed down the development of my plants can now see correctly the little buds form thank you in advance for advice that you can bring me 😉👍👌

Although we have arrived and exceeded the time to harvest according to the breeder's specifications, I have decided to keep them under the lamp a little bit more in order to see a last push. Furthermore I haven't seen too many amber colored trichomes so this helped me to maintain it. I don't have the right tools to observe them either, so I'm somewhat hesitant about the time of harvest. Maybe I'll cut the biggest ones and keep the little ones a little more under the light. Anyway I saw that pure sativas can stay flowering between 100-120 days so I think I'm not so wrong.

Honey Cream is almost ready (Aiming for 15% amber trichomes), another week or two and the first tops will come out. The smell is very pleasant, a bubble gum, sweet and almost ripe berry smells, very intoxicant ! Power flower is stacking nicely, but still with no smell, very frosty too. Special queen #1 is also doing amazingly, specially being in a pot, 2.25m and stacking EVERYWHERE ! The smell reminds me of an amnesia haze, very pungent on the nose ! Old Lemongrass is doing a little bit worse, her leaves yellowed a lot, but hopefully it will get fixed by next week. Trichome production is considerably slower than all the other strains, but she is stacking for sure. Smells of a very pleasant sweet lemon.

OK, so you see the method here. I have a Scragg incoming, but you can tell that only one plant is in there because I’ve only harvested that one from my previous run. And that would be the Rubicite going out. These fucking plants grow like wildfire. I don’t even know how to contain them. I would like to breed this plant on the male side to get its growth traits because it is fucking wildfire.. I have no room left in my veg tent as you can see. Insane I would like to be ensured they are great horizon with thick heads and not waxy features, but that remains be seen

The harvest of the first medusa F1 hybrid at day 93 after germination. The trichomes were starting to turn amber. I probably could have let her ripen for a bit longer. I am amazed how fat she has gotten, the weight of the flower is too heavy for the branches. Way to go RQS for breeding such a fast growing autoflower. She is already in the drying tent for 5 days now at a temperature of 19 °C with a humidity of around 55-60%. I want a nice and slow drying process to preserve the terpenes and cannabinoïds. This will take about 2 weeks in my opinion, when the branches start to give a clean snapping sound when bending. I will make a harvest blog once the flowers are dried and I have weighed the buds for the yield. This lady only received some LST and a little defoliation throughout the entire grow. I also dont flush the plant at the end since this myth was debunked by a scientific article. A flush is only needed if you overfed the plant. Dr bruce bugbee also confirmed this. The dry tent smells of hay/grass, which is logical because the plant still has a lot of chlorophyll inside. Untill the harvest blog! Check my other Medusa F1's for the progress of the experiment.
