11/2: I took everybody out of the garden and did some defoliating and sprayed them with boom boom spray and a little tiger bloom for the last time. In addition the potassium deficiency, it looks like several of them have a copper deficiency as well. I'm gonna re-calibrate my Ph meter...thinking it's off. I super-cropped the tallest 5 plants to try and keep the canopy more even, and spent about a half hour training the 4 plants in the upper chamber 11/3: The 5 plants whose tallest branches I super-cropped turned upwards and are doing their thing again. At least 3 more plants need the same treatment now..stretching like crazy. They are dry..watering in the morning. 11/4: I sprinkled a tablespoon of Cavern Culture (bat and seabird guano) onto all of them and watered it in with about 1/2 gallon each, including myco/tricho/beneficial bacteria, humic acid, bembe, terpinator, and cal-mag. I also did some more super-cropping and training on them today. I can't really spread the branches out too much, as I have no space at all to work with, but I managed to get light to more of the lower branches, so that's a win. Tomorrow I'm gonna transplant the one with the curly leaves into a 5 gallon pot and check out whatever's going on with her roots. The extremely curly-leaved plant...ugh...I'd say she's really "sickly", but she's big and bushy and still blooming like crazy....😕 It's like she hates being watered. I've ensured that there are hundreds of little holes in the sides and bottom of her pot and have a half inch airspace beneath it. During the afternoon, I've been leaving the closet door partially open and an industrial fan blowing across the pots to try to get more oxygen to their roots. All, but Curly Sue are doing fine. I'm hoping that maybe a transplant into a 5 gallon pot of perlite-heavy soil mix (roots dusted with myco) will make her straighten out and fly right. I'll water her into the new pot with boomerang and maybe spray her with boom boom spray. Biotabs swears by it as a shock-reducing transplant foliar feed....we'll see. I really hate transplanting when they are this far into flower, but I really don't want her to peter-out before she can finish. Of all the plants, she has the weakest stalk and branches, so...😷 11/5: I transplanted "Curly Sue" into a 5 gallon pot today and watered her in with myco, humic acid, boomerang, and bembe. Fingers crossed.... I removed the oscillating fan from above my lighting so that I could raise the lights several more inches, and added another oscillating fan above the lights that blows down on the plants. The one I removed is still up there too, but blowing across the LED drivers and a pair of the panels. I could still remove the ratchet hangers and just use carabiners to attach the fixture to the "ceiling" of the closet....that would give me another 5 inches of possible ceiling if I end up needing it. 11/6: I fed everybody about 1/3 gallon today, and went heavy on phosphorous..a heavy dose of tiger bloom, along with a normal dose of beastie bloomz, bembe, cal-mag, signal, big bloom, and a 1/3 dose of grow big. It's been raining for 24 hours and the humidity is off the charts, so I dialed up the ac infinity to come on any time it exceeds 55% RH and increased the fan speed on the floor of the closet to try and dry them out quicker than usual. 11/7: Did pretty much nothing to the bigger plants in the bottom today and only did a little training to two of the shorter ones in the top section. 11/8: I collected a bunch of rainwater over the past 48 hours and gave everybody about 1/3 gallon including cal-mag, signal, bembe, armor si, and a little bit of tiger bloom..still seeing some signs of phosphorous deficiency here and there. I took a bunch of photos and video while I had some of them out of the closet. 😍 Curly Sue continues to bud up, but she's still curly as hell. No way the old growth will correct itself, but I was hoping to see a few new sugar leaves be straighter than the rest..

Day 69 of cycle - day 32 of flowering.. My biggest plant in size since I started growing 3 years ago.. I qm really happy with what is coming out of this besuty gelato.. I am impressed by the growth and health of this babe.. many branch sides with many top buds.. the smell is amazing, that good gelato we all know.. let’s fatten it up and I can’t wait to smoke it.. let’s go

Two phenotypes - one purple and one white/green. The purple was very difficult to train and resulted in a couple inadvertent breaks - luckily it was repairable. The other trained very well, very flexible and worked very good for SCROG. Both produced heavily and are beautiful. The purple tends to be much more fluffy, with very long pistil hairs - the longest of any grow I have done. The white was super dense, very crystally and sticky. It will be very interesting to see how they smoke. Also, the purple tended to do very well with some nute mistakes I made as well as fluctuating pH in my water feeding. The white did not do as well in this regard but was able to get to harvest fine. Wet bud weight is prior to trimming. The buds off of these plants were HUGE!!!! Plant #1: (Purple): Wet weight - 76.58oz prior to trim; 15 colas; Terps: White - 60%, Clear - 20%, Amber - 20% Plant #2: (White): Wet weight - 71.65oz prior to trim; 16 colas; Terps: White - 70%, Clear - 30%, After 3 days of drying, took them down to trim for my jars. After a few hours filled mostly quart jars 3/4 full but also tried an Infinity jar and a gallon mason jar to minimize the number of smaller jars. Dry weights into jars: Plant #1: 14.79 oz Plant #2: 11.76oz I did pull them after a day to dry rack them for 12 hours due to a little bit higher moisture content then I would have liked ( 70%rH). Re-jarred on 6/1/23 and now holding steady at around 60% rH. Cure Check In (Week 2): 6/10 - 6/12/23: rH ~ 63 - 66%. Daily air exposure & fanning. Very smelly. Looking good - another couple weeks and will be ready.

Nothing special

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. The Nr 3 girl is still a little bit behind the other 2 girls and all the 3 girls look like there 3 different pheno of the same plant. KL 23.30. I have never tested PH in my grows, when growing organic in soil iv learned that it adapt PH by it self. But im curious by nature so i had to test. Kl 10.00 Tested PH in the soil, it was 6.9 and tested my tap water and it was 6.8. Added a video of the girls, its 10 H after defoliation, LST and leaftucking. I think its looking good. Kl 22.30. Light fluffy bud, but so much of it that weight got up there in the end. Really soft smoke with some earthy textures and tastes. Less sweet smelling than the previous haze but has a lot more earthy, baking smell to it this one.

7.5.25: I retied down the branches on RQS Northern Lights auto. I had to clean the tent, so the opportunity had to be taken, I hope not to have to move them again. I ended up snapping a small branch off another plant 😖 She is looking so big out of the tent, and even bigger than I thought! Now, having readjustmed, the fabric ties, and she is looking even larger still. This really is an absolute giant of a plant! 😱 I really am struggling to get them all in, I think the 8 gallon pots were a definite factor in that. They certainly are great for getting big plants, but be prepared if you have a small space. She's still stretching and not really focusing on her bud development in these mid flowering weeks. I think we will be in for a long haul with this lady. I hope she doesn't get too much bigger. I watered some bloom nutes after I top dressed, with Mega Crop Part A by Greenleaf Nutrients. I watered 3.2 litres PPM:745 PH:6.0. This time, I'm going to keep the top dressing moist. So as not to kill all the beneficial microbes. Other than that, I will wait until the pots are light again. Overall, she is doing great, I wish she had stretched a little more evenly to catch up in height. I just can't even out the canopy anymore. I'll leave it and hope she'll sort herself out 😅 I'm very excited to see what happens next! This is going to be crazy whatever happens! 😍😋 8.4.25: Northern lights had dried out significantly, so I watered with 2 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. Containing per litre: ♡ 1/4 tsp of Greenleaf nutrients Sea K(elp). PPM: 800 PH: 6.4 I don't want the top dress to dry out too much, and the plants are starting to drink much more. 9.5.25: It's a necessity to keep the soil moist. That means I need to water more often now. Today I watered with 1.5 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 which contained: ♡ 1/5 tsp of Sea K(elp). By Greenleaf nutrients ♡ 1/4 tsp Ecothrive Biosys. PPM: 564 PH: 6.4 12.5.25: Northern Lights has been srayed with the foliar spray and all symptoms have resolved. Due to having a few leaves burnt with that, I've decided to use the Ecothrive Trace in the water instead. It left some orange spots of damaged leaves. ***May 13 No reservoir change any more until the end of flower. I'm just filling it up with water as it goes, I'll let the plant flush itself out for anything it needs. Mainly because it's gotten too big and heavy to take out of the tent comfortably. The branches are all leaning over, and the buds are starting to finish up now. I have to take the loop to it to check the trichomes, but I think in another week or a little longer I'll be able to chop her down. Man I'm so excited to see what she brings to smoke!! I've never seen a freakshow with big nugs and not looking like a wiry mess, so I am a little proud of myself for a first hydro hahaha. Still dank as hell when I open the tent. Sorry for all the late updates, things are getting busy!
