Today I would like to tell you something about my new “toy” (Ecowitt GW1200 +WH51). I read something in the forum about a soil moisture sensor that is IoT capable. I was curious and of course had to buy it... 😄 Works really surprisingly well, I tested it beforehand with a small test setup. Up to 8 sensors can be connected to the gateway and theoretically home automation would also be possible. 10/2 They made it to their forever pots. Next Saturday we'll be hitting 2 months from sprout and as a whole its been a pleasure to grow these plants. They all are a very healthy green and seem to be happy. Temperatures in the region may have unexpectedly slowed them down (I grow in a basement) because temps have plummeted from around 78 with the lights on to as low as 71! I don't think they like it either. Growth has slowed with it. Never fear, space heater is here. Everything thing needs to be dialed in for the next few weeks because I want explosive growth over the next 21 days. Going to try a SST somewhere in there. Parsing through all this bro science isn't easy but it sure is fun to experiment. It allegedly gives you good root growth and provides crucial enzymes. Almost sounds too good to be true but I'm going to see how it goes regardless. I heard you can use I wide variety of seeds but alpha alpha is the only one I have on hand. Wish me luck. As for the plants: Moby= beast. I'd be a fool not to attempt to clone her. Vigorous grower and responds well to training. Not a demanding eater either, at least so far. Loving this freebie from NASC. Highly recommend them if you're in the northeast US looking for a local seed bank. GZ 1 = steady. Probably the biggest back slide if you want to call it that. Spotted some yellowing on lower leaves but they are shaded by this ones thick canopy. May not even be an issue but we keep an eye on it. Probably the biggest critic of the lowering temperatures because she's slowed down in the past 2 days. Gz2= trooper. She had a rougher upbringing and she's got a far different shape than the other two because of it. But with a little work I'm sure soon both GZ will be indistinguishable from one another. Banana daddy= forgot to take pics of her. Man have I been growing autoflowers all wrong. I may have fed this plant once. Though it should be noted that the soil I put her in was amended with alpha alpha, fish bone meal, and guano. She seems to really enjoy it so far. Not a single yellow leaf. Droopy at times though which is odd. Also some tacoing on new growth that ends up correcting itself as the leaf gets bigger. Double odd. Next time I do an auto run I'm definitely doing much less in terms of feeding and maintenance. Loving your plants too much can be deadly. Starting to figure them out though so I'm happy I did at least one. I'll post in a few days when I water my photos again.

Seen explosive growth is week 3. Plant more than doubled in size, and reached 5 nodes. We topped her this week! (Video added!). Still zero nutrients but it won't be long! Plant is loving the T5 HO lighting! So far, so good, very strong looking grow, no troubles here! Topped at 20 days from seed.

9/15 - I missed my 4 week feeding of my Purple Microdots 😑 Didn't catch that mistake until I noticed some yellowing. Ugggh. But, I gave them each another feeding of Bad Bunny Nutrients, as well as some @rootsorganics Uprising Bloom & Foundation for that added boost now that they are well into flowering. I also watered them with my Roots Organics Terp Tea Bloom Compost tea that I brewed for the ladies in Flower in the 8x4 tent! So, now they are bouncing back and becoming green and lush again. 9/18 - All four are coming along nicely. They are very low maintenance and are well into flower now. These Purple Microdots continue beat all my other autos to the punch and she continues to hit EVERY milestone weeks before the others as well. She's quickly becoming my favorite auto to grow. I've decided to pop a few more seeds, identify the female, then plant one in a 3 gallon pot to see what she can really do! 9/19 - Did a lot in the garden yesterday. Since everyone is in flower, I top fed the ladies with @rootsorganics Elemental for calcium and Seabird Guano for phosphate. Followed this with some RO water and molasses.

alright, how y'all doing? this week I did defoliated both plants, for the last time, I hope. The Rd started to flowering few days earlier, and the SS on the other hand, is very small in size, I confess when defoliating the next day it looked I didn't do lol. 😵, but yeah I noticed the plants now are going int flowering so no more defoliation for now.. SS its showing it gender but still very shy 😜, I keep telling her, hey, don't be shy be like your friend right there all showing off.. 😇. alright.. feeding schedule.. I was doing some research and couldn't find much at all about mixing different types of fertilisers brand... so I got this advanced nuts ( carlbooad was sent cause they ran out of bud candy but in the website it was available nd on the email I said to send me the big bud then but whatever.. 😕.. I did made a mistake with the nirvana. ( the bottle says> 2 ml/l during all grow fase and during weeks 3 till6 of blooming. ( on the website doing some research found only tu use during weeks 3 till 6 on bloom.)) so with that said I just used as the bottle said, and it was too late, I mean when I realised I had done it already, some lets hope and prays for the best kkkk.... so for the next feeding this week I won't add nirvana yet..will wait 2 more weeks and then put back inside 😆. so. Day 42, start of flowering week 3: they are growing nicely, had to do a lot of defoliation on each plant, except the one in the 3L pot. Day 43, I started to discover that the roots are coming out aggressively from the bottom of the pot. I did not move the ones in the back, but I guess same thing. The one in the 3L pot doesn't have this problem. Day 45: getting really excited for these guys! I'm trying to keep the temp and humidity low, and I hope I can achieve some of the purple color :P any advice on that? day46: defoliaton
