**Week 8 - Third Week of Flower** Things are getting wild in the Donutz tent! After the insane stretch last week, the plants have turned the space into a full-on jungle. The start of Week 8 called for drastic measures, and the results are setting the stage for explosive bud production. **Key Updates**: - **Aggressive Defoliation**: On Day 1 of the third flower week, the plants underwent a *brutal* defoliation. Every bud site that had started to develop its own leaves was stripped of its fan leaves, allowing light to flood the canopy. Even the smallest sites now have excellent exposure, giving them the best chance to mature into chunky nugs in the coming weeks. Despite the intensity of the trim, the plants are resilient and primed to bounce back strong. - **Boosted Nutrients**: To support the plants after the stress of defoliation, I added another 5-6g of Greenhouse Feeding Bloom per plant. This ensures the soil stays nutrient-rich and gives the plants the resources they need to recover and thrive. - **Watering**: Still rocking reverse osmosis (RO) water, ensuring clean and efficient hydration without any surprises. **Observations**: - The canopy is significantly cleaner and more open, with light now reaching deeper into the lower sections. - The plants are handling the defoliation well, with no immediate signs of stress or shock. - Bud sites are already looking promising, with visible development and an even distribution across the canopy. **Looking Ahead**: The next few weeks will be all about letting the plants recover and watching the buds stack up. With improved light penetration and a fresh dose of nutrients, everything is lined up for some impressive development. The Donutz are thriving, and the Florida Gang vibes are at an all-time high — the tent is set to deliver big!

Seedlings are strengthening, shaking couple times a day, to strengthen stems, heating up outside and my plants can tell ! Or it just cause my basement is warming up too? Week 2 day 6 I have picked my plants, seems to me there are 3 distinct, leaf shapes, all sprouted from same batch of seeds.

Bon voila ! les larves de chrysopes sont arrivées, je les aime bien car après avoir mangé les thrips sous toutes leurs formes, les chrysopes adultes restent dans la tente, très utile en cas de nouvelle invasion de thrips... en seulement 2 jours on voit que les feuilles des plantes ne s'abîment plus et redeviennent bien verte, c'est plutôt bon signe... ma petite bouture acid dough entame donc son reveging, les fleurs qui restaient s'allongent et des nouvelles feuilles à 1 pale sont apparues, pour le moment elle fait un peu mutante mais je ne m'inquiète pas, affaire à suivre, en attendant arrosage à l'eau, et je prévois un TCO la semaine prochaine.

6. Woche

Unfortunately because they were in the dark when germinated & sprouted they stretched for light quite a bit, which made the stems weak, I had to support some but 1 of the Tropicana Cookies was to weak & bent right over. I tried to stake it to support it but it died a few days later! I have put another Tropicana seed in to a jiffy starter to replace it. Added a fan to help strengthen stems & it has started to strengthen them up allready

I am no longer going to be using the fox farm nutrient line not for any other reason than I just want to switch it up and go with something else before I go into flower. I'm not saying fox farm if a bad line, I just want something different. I feel fox farm is the line you go to when your first starting out and buying from Amazon, not downing anyone I've done it myself we've all been there and it works well for the price. But if you get their full line including Bush doctor and all it gets to be a bit mutch. I haven't went that far yet because of that, I don't want to feel like I have to buy 12 different nutrient solutions and when you do you find out you really only needed 5 or 6. Its for this reason I've decided to go with the Mills line of bottled nutrients their line up is 6 solutions total they are a bit pricy for the 6 one of the bottles being $120.00 US alone, but I'm also a firm believer in you get what you pay for and every resource and review I've seen makes me have high expectations for this nutrient line. Updates soon to come over the next few weeks as I have been currently flushing my plants for the past 2 days getting ready for the new neuts. I flushed with just straight water ph 6.0 the first day and again the next day (today Jul 25) and once again a few hours later with cal mag, silica and a little bit of recharge to help hold the plant over until I feed the new neuts and help ease them in as well. Topped her on day 11 and upped the maxigro a little. She is making steady progress. I expect her to take off in the next few days. Will start some training before the end of week 3. Just another boring plant at this point but stick around for a while and I bet that will change....

I finally changed the photoperiod, and I'm very happy with how everything has gone. The last flush watering worked well to get the plant back to a fresh start with the flowering fertilizers.

In this week, the only concern and things I monitor daily are the temperature and humidity. Temperature should always be around 20C-23C, while humidity should be around 60-70%. No nutrients is given to the plant just balance ph of water (6.5) if the top soil is dry.
