Day 87 05/01/25 Sunday Did a light feed today using de-chlorinated tap water, no base nutes bud just tasty terps, bud candy and big bud, with Cal mag. All pH 6.16 Temps getting high so ordered an omega cool wing for hps, will I will install it soon as it arrives. Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. I think everything was well but then i see the Doppler Plant starts automatically to bloom 😳🤯 and that under a 18/6 Cycle. I know that S1 Strains (self pollinated Mother Plant) are not Automatic Plants. Only when one of their Parents have these Genes. So i was a little bit confused and started to write with the Breeder about that. They are really curious too, how this can happen Was a wild Week with that News. But don’t worry i give her the best Light Intension as i can for the other Plants Veg. PPFD Range was between 500 and 600. Get the Pot higher that she get enough Sun. For now it was not that bad I‘m sure there come not really an Stretch. I started to spread the Plant out as much as i can with LST Mixed her before i discovered that 500ml Water with 20ml Orgatrex and 1g Bactrex in it. It wasn't quite what I expected, as I now drive one Auto and three Photperiods. But I'm still in a good mood 🤩

Bonjour les amis. Cette semaine les fleurs ont pris du volume et surtout l'odeur est est nettement plus forte. Dès que j'ouvre mon placard une odeur terrible se répand. Ma femme est terrifiée. C'est la dernière semaine théorique mais il faut encore quelques jours, je pense récolter la semaine prochaine. Les 2 grandes plantes ont une forme et un volume normal, je vais les libérer de leurs liens très rapidement. La petite semble encore plus chargée en résine. Je n’arrose que à l'eau pH ~6.8. Led 80%. Bon grow à tous. M.

Approaching the finish line. Fertilizer is now at its final dose. Both plants stopped growing now and started to build thick buds. Ken in fact is way ahead in terms of buds but it might be because he Hase a little bit less in number. It’s possible that I trained Ryu too much for his pot size 😆😆. But let’s see. Both looking very good and a lot more powerful than in my first grow. Water intake is still massive. The top soil is rock solid while draining water super fast which must mean the pots are filled with massive roots. The erected teeth came down a bit but they were never that severe in the first place so I’m still not worried about that. I skipped one day of watering to account for possible slight overfeeding but I mean, today’s watering then was with the increased dose of fert 😆😆. I know I’m pushing it a little bit but that’s deliberate. I have high demands both in mass and quality so my approach is riding the edge as good as possible from the beginning 😆

soo... today is flush day.. i uploaded one photo out of 100 of the trichomes because it was hard to find a good spot and take the photo because my hand kept on moving a milimiter to the side and whole focus would be gone.. but there is alot of milky ones starting to appear and i decided im going to go for mostly milky ones as my cookie went for the sativa side and i enjoy head high, she smells sweet like grandmas carmel candies and she smells stroong.. i recommend this strain 100% for fruity sweet smelling bud lovers im sure if i had better light and more experience in growing Autos I would pull alot more weight on that girl and hopefully i will do it next time ! im planning on upgrading soon and growing this strain again because she is just too good thanks for all the support 👊 i will also update on how she tasted and i will update the wet and dry weight when she is ready.😂

Off to a killer start, I rarely seen genetics being this fast to germinate. 18 hrs 1/4” tap root and 24 hrs later was 1/2” out of the medium. 5 days later they are approximately 3-4” with second set of leaves. Nothing different with this grow except dialling in my mixes and top dresses at more appropriate times. For a change I have all my supplies for this grow to run with hiccups. Why Crystal Candy FV? Sweet Seeds were generous to provide seeds and supposedly 6-7 weeks only Flower would prove spectacular should the quality be comparable to Fem seeds. Wow, another week done. It's become an absolute jungle in my greenhouse. A few of the GG4/Sherbets tops had to be mainlined since they're hitting the top of the greenhouse at 7ft8in tall. The smell is definitely getting stronger every day and it goes from super pungent, to sweet, to almost tropical. They're all still looking nice and healthy. The Athena Blended Line works wonders with my well water as the plants couldn't be happier. All in all Happy Growing.

Start of week 6 flower, banners going strong, massive sativa pheno is starting to fatten up, still a long way to go with it Smaller more indica bushy pheno you can see will be finished sooner, she's starting to glisten from the trichomes forming Hadn't really got a proper whiff of the banner smell till now, damn it smells superb 😎💪

Week 8 / Flower Week 2 The middle plant is clearly shorter than the other two, but after measuring PPFD this turned out to be no issue. Plant heights were left 59 / middle 40 / right 55 cm with lamp distances of 32 / 55 / 34 cm. The strongest light is in the center, and despite the height differences the average light distribution is very even. PPFD averages were around left ~400 / middle ~415 / right ~380, and after I raised 2 levels up to ~500 / ~525 / ~545 µmol/m²/s Stretch is slowing down and the plants are clearly moving into early flower. During the week I removed yellow and dead leaves and started lollipopping. The lower third was cleaned up and the left plant was lollipopped a bit more. The other plants will be cleaned up further over the next days I think, step by step. I also raised the middle plant slightly at one point to get it closer to the light and improve airflow, which helped after cleaning up the lower part. Watering and feeding followed the HESI schedule. The plants were watered three times this week: At the start of the week, about 10 L with nutrients. Mid-week, roughly 7 L of pH-adjusted water only. On the day of writing this report, end of the week, they were watered again with nutrients at half strength .pH around 6.0-6.5. Yellow sticky traps were added as a preventive measure. Overall I’m happy with how this week went. Everything feels well set up and I’m curious to see how the left plant responds to the more intense lollipopping, since this is the first time I’ve gone this far. 8/21/24 1tsp foundation which is cal mag. 2 tsp bloom and 3 tsp grow. she is a super leafy plant. defoliated quite a bit and cleaned up underneath for the larfy stuff.

It was probably the hottest week of the year with a maximum of 34° C, a lot of water had to be administered, especially the Frisian Dew in the pot. On the other hand, I continue to enjoy the good appearance of the plants, with no pests, caterpillars, aphids or similar to be found so far. Even the slugs are no longer interested in the leaves, there are now so many flowers in the garden that simply taste better. As the flowering that I have read about already begins with the pre-flowering, I can say that all the plants in this report are flowering. Only the Durban Poison is by far the fastest and is already producing buds and seeds. As I had used regular seed for the Durban Poison, I fertilised it with pollen from a remaining male Durban Poison. The seed pods are already visible and look promising. The Durban Poison flowers are purple in depth, at least in my phenotype, and it doesn't need as much water as Frisian Dew and Shaman. The Shaman and Frisian Dew in the garden are showing their best side and continue to grow diligently, they need much less water than the others, probably due to roots that reach deep down. Do Durban Poison, Frisian Dew and Shaman actually have tap roots? However, I would really like all the plants to start producing flower buds now, as it is already mid-August.
