I topped both plants once thus far, cleared their lower nodes up to the 3rd node on "nemo" and 4th on "v" names are easier then saying seed 1 and seed 4. added pics and video of day 34/35 for these two. hope y'all can stand the slight off hue from grow light. pics/vids are taken on phone camera thru grow room glasses, when watered the 3 gal pots are heavy and not easy to yank out for a picture.

I am not on facebook instagram twitter etc All accounts except this one are fake. Harvest day 71 since the time change to 12/12 hrs. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested. After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. Well it's finally time to cut her down. It's day 95 post germination for this lady, and she's at maximum potency. All trichomes are cloudy with about 5-10% amber & she's giving out a mixed palet of aromas. I can smell a very distinct mix of lemon, urea, skunk, and spice. It was relatively easy plant to grow. I started in a super soul which ran out of nutrients early and I had to supplement with bottled nutrients. Going forward I'm going to have to put more thought into my initial soil composition. Please note: I'm only estimating the 'Wet Bud Weight'; for the purposes of this diary I estimated 12-16 ounces. Cannabis can loose up to 75% of its mass during the drying phase and based on past experience, I am expecting 4-6 ounces of finished flower. Dry/cure process: 1. Cut entire plant down by main stock 2 hang upside down in a dark room with controlled humidty and temps.... - Temperature should range from 67-72 °F, and my humidity will range between 57-60%. 3. Full trim complete after 8-11 days of drying. 4. Stick in Mason jars indefinitely with 2-way Boveda humidty packs (62%). 4-20. This week went very well, I was finally able to get the second toppings done today on day 35. I am hoping to get the final 4 toppings done in about a week or a week and a half, and then Give her a couple more weeks in Veg before I flip the lights. She is definitely not growing super-fast, but she seems to be growing nice and thick and sturdy with tight internodal spacing, which is exactly what I am looking for. The plants continue to grow although slowly. I turned the Gavita back on this week and even at 42 inches it seems to be too much light at full power because although they're getting adequate nutrients, the leaves appear to be showing signs of damage to the chlorophyll pigments. I'd like to splurge and get the adapter and controller so that I can dim the light and slowly increase the intensity to allow for a more gradual photo acclimation period, but I will probably hold off until my next run. I've also considered adding supplemental Co2 to help the plants more effectively tolerate and take advantage of the light intensity, but it seems like a big expense for an uncertain benefit considering all of the other variables that are sub-optimal. Perhaps I'll give those Excellofizz Co2 pucks a try. Someday I'll build sealed grow room with automated Hvac, feeding, and Co2 enrichment but for now I'll soldier on and hope for the best as the flip to 12-12 approaches. More to come next week!
