This grow has been sooooo easy apart from a slight bit of nutrient burn that you can see, she has been a pleasure to grow, she is taking longer than expected but i wouldnt have her any other way lol. Ive noticed that the pistils really turn bright orange even red 😁- i hope she tastes and smells as citrusy as she looks😝 - also getting frosty 👍 Merry Christmas Everyone!!😉

29.12.-4.1.25. This was the last week and my photos are from the end of this week (4.1.). Over all I have some things to notice: 1: I think my lights were too close to my plants. I found out, that the top Buds were a little bit smaller than the buds a little deeper. So I think I have to adjust this in an another round. 2: I hat too much small branches. it would have been better to cut them all of, and leave only the biggest on the plant. they don't smell as good as the bigger ones, and the bigger ones were not as good as they could be. 3: I need to feed with clear water the last week. 4: On the moment I turn off the lights I would do now things different. I should let the plant 3 Days in darkness in her pot. (and do a photo shooting) But after this I should chop the hole plant and put her in a watercan for one week. After that I should dry her completely as a hole plant longer and slower than I did this time. I think best could be 65%-55% humidity, so that the plant could be drying for about 14 days. This time I messed things up because I wanted to do a fresh frozen with the sugar leafes, but it didn't work. so I'll do it the next time just dry.

Still only giving them water at ph6.5 They started flowering this week. 😎

This plant just amazes me how many thricomes it has , i would definitely recommend this strain. I'm curious how it will smoke when it dries up! 😁 It smells very fruity and piney and you can see the crystals shining on it. Very happy with the results 🙂

We had a mega load of rain over the last few days and sadly I lost a huge NYD to stem rot. Anyways I new February in Durban was going to be a challenge. The soil doesn't drain very well where I live and unfortunately it just got too wet for too long. All the other plants are looking healthy and I did do treatments around their crowns with some peroxide followed by fungicide (organic oils). The haze x cheese is looking epic this week, buds are getting really big. Spotted some PM on some lower branches so I cleared out some undergrowth and have been pulling the odd leaves I see. Nothing too bad. Humidity has been 100% at points. Getting awesome hints of limone as I walk through the garden. Can't wait!

This was a pretty explosive week for growth! These girls really took off this week! I have been topping off the res with just plain RO water this week after the change and for this run I have kept the strength of the nutrients pretty low and have been hanging around 0.6 EC, I don't see much of a need to increase at all. I am going to continue to keep a lower EC and just watch the plants. I think last run I may have fed a little hot a time or two so gonna go low and slow this run and it has been working out so far. I will be putting my trellis net up either today or tomorrow because I think I am really going to need it this run. I noticed yesterday that it looks like these girls are showing signs of entering the flowering phase so I need to get set up and be prepared for the stretch! I'm getting a little nervous about the height of the plants as well because they are growing fairly tall pretty quick, but hopefully the net will help a bit. End of the third week of the stretch and they certain out did stretch indeed😳. Had to crop over the tallest female - she just stretched wayyy too much and that’s gonna go against her in the rankings when we draw out our seed on each plant. The first male has dropped fully and the others are another 1-2 days out from harvest. We’ll collect all that pollen and store it for future use if it’s needed. The plants are all showing both similarities and differences - there’s an even distribution of sativa and indica leaning phenos which suggests that there is def. Some variability in terms of traits for this F1 generation. Exactly what we were looking for as we pare this down to the second filial generation. On the overall growth - absolutely no issues at all with nutritional deficiencies which is a welcome change of pace. The last while we’ve been growing some strains that have shown very odd reactions to nute changes and I suspect this is a result of certain strains simply being bred out too far. Hard to say but the radar is definitely up with the well known breeders right now. We have some real winner pheno clones that we’ve rooted and will be flowering out once we get this tent cleaned up and free of pollen. All told, the run is progressing much better than anticipated and with the rate of turnover through transition, I’m happy to say that there isn’t any one plant I won’t consider test running on the next cycle. We did have some og auto genetics in the tent for pollination as well but that plant is looking like a bit of a mutant. Not sure if we’ll even bother with testing it at this point but you never know. Expect a harvest update on the males as we move in to the flowering side of the grow and then it’s just waiting around for seed👍. Alls well for now. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Auto Black Opium 👉Sponsored Grow👈 W6 F1 Black Opium grew 3 inches again this week and is now 11 inches tall. Because I have iridium and copper in the water, the ph meter fluctuates due to breaking bonds between the hydrogen and oxygen. The fluctuation range I see is between 6.4 and 6.9 so I’m reporting 6.6. So far, I don’t see any negative effects of the iridium & copper on the plant. The soil base is Happy Frog, Coast of Maine, Mushroom Compost and Super Soil. I’m giving only ph water to her for this grow. I defoliated 8 large fan leaves to open up the center. easy enough week. added dehumidifiers in both tents as i really have them packed and its best we take care of that now than run into diffs later. nutrients all good, much the same. harvested bday cake auto 45g wet weight. maybe was hard on her at the start but whatever.. looks good, hopefully tastes as good. 3rd week in and these girls are massive.. like really impressive. no hype.

Hey guys and welcome to start of Week 8! 🌻 Today is day 21 of flower so i went ahead and cut most of the plats Fanleaves off. It took a while but now the Airmovement is improved and the humidity should also be lower. I also hope I didn‘t stress them too much.
