This is my second run of Dutch Passion with my first being a monster Blueberry Auto. Massive plant, and her pungent odor overtook my entire home while trimming her today. While trimming her it smelled like I was in an earthy Pine Forest with a hint of berries, and it was one of the strongest smelling plants I've ever run. Very easy to grow, responded to all training methods with VIGOROUS growth. I topped her above the 7th node and removed the bottom one so I had 12 mains total. It took me almost 8 hours and I even had help for 4 hours.. Trimming is definitely my least favorite part of cultivating this species. I am super impressed with this strain and really everything Dutch Passion. They have not even sent me a single seed or even acknowledged me on here but this is my second run of their autos and I anticipate each will be a massive yielder. I will probably take a month off then start a run of a few photoperiod mainlines. 8/19 Monday Fast Buds Strawberry Gorilla just woke up, RSQ Medusa sprouted yesterday. So far so good. What a great Monday!!!! It's evening now, and Dark Devil Auto from Sweetseeds is clawing her way out from hell!!!!!! Yeah!!!! Still waiting on Blueberry in the mostly perlite mix so might not work, and Pink Kush she will be along soon. 8/20😈😈😈😈😈 Every single one clawed their way out of hell...100 percent success !!!!!!! 11am Dark Devil might need some assistance with her shell, looks awesome...... I've been dancing with the Dark Devil Auto in the pale moon light and it's pretty cool. 👹 This is the first time I didn't kill any seeds... when I get out of practice my germination rates are bad.... Im still learning to grow in 1 gallon. My health has gone to hell so I can only move smaller plants now...so much fun though. Easier AND I can do smaller 4 cola grows...they dry in 1 or 2 days NO WAITING for curing or 10 days to dry...it's just the BEST!!!!!!! 8/21 1 am Everyone is looking good a little worried about Dark Devil I may have helped too much again... I planted another dark devil auto seed just in case I’m not sure this one is really gonna work and if it does then I’ll have two of them growing in one and I’ll have a double Devil auto it’ll work. I’m pretty sure.👍👍 8/22 I took off the paper light diffuser I made raised the light up a few inches and have it at 50 Watts now. They are looking good. I replanted Dark DEvil seed maybe 2 will grow?? Halloween 8/23 8/24 Dark Devil Auto took off and the other one looks like she's trying to grow!!! 🚨 I was noticing some light stress since some of them are a week behind the other one I went ahead and turned the lights down to 45 W until all the plants are a little more stable. I just don’t wanna move them to another tent and turn another set of lights on. I’m trying to do this for low energy and heat as I can. They are responding well to turning the lights down 5 watts👍and Dark Devil Auto is being a devil, she has MASSIVE personality, she tricks me then wakes up..... I love when I can really connect with the plants sometimes they are like pets and they respond to you like pets. not very often but it happens . I successfully did a minor surgery on Dark Devil Auto, her cotyledon was stuck together so I used a razor and a paperclip for counter weight and CAREFULLY cut the seed coating off of it. Now I will have 2 in the same pot!!! So cool I never did that before and it worked!!!!!! Love my Dark Devil!!! 8/24 2 pm Switched to 18 hour lights 8/25 12 hours later and the cotyledon surgery was a success!!! First time I tried that. 10 am, Dark Devil is ALIVE, I got more cotyledon microscope pics and you can see inside, she's a go. 330 pm end of week.

Heavy feeder the 3 gallon pot proved regretful hurt her yield and caused her to run out of nuets first so on me Otherwise strong genetics and she did recover well Keep em fed this one 143 grams dry

Took the top off giving the rest of the plant a few more days and then I’ll get her dried cured and tested, update to come.. 58g dried will update again once cured n tested. Tester bud was POTENT very mouth watering straight head high leading to relaxed body high very creamy smoke my best grow so far love it. After a few days curing the smell of sweet coffee coming through fills the room with the smell.

Hey Guys! Super excited this week! I've really been wanting to try growing outdoors, so I built a cheap hoop house! Got most of this stuff for the frame from Lowes under 300$. All the soil products I got from GrowGreenMI. Some really cool people out there. One thing I'm super worried about is drainage. Right now those holes are about 4 feet deep and they've got about 4 inches of water in them already. What's been cautioned is that, eventually, about 2 months in these plants roots will grow and reach the bottom and cause root rot to form. One of the biggest things I was trying to be wary of was causing root rot. This was also the biggest precautionary measure I took when mixing the soil. Adding the extra perlite, coco, and clay pebbles. Best advice right now is to build the soil up on the holes another 16 to 18 inches and possible stick a PVC pipe down to the lowest drainage point of the hole to allow some of that natural occurring water to evaporate. Any advice anyone has on it is welcomed! Making a compost tea for the soil outdoors, will probably put 2 cups in each RDWC bucket as well and let that do it's magic for a day or so before nutrient change. Raised the bed about 14 inches as well! All the seeds sank! Off to a good start! Lol

This week some of the plants are starting to show a few brown pistils on the calyxes as an indicator that peak bloom period is occurring. I don’t expect them to do much other than fill out a bit at this point with exception of some of the more Sativa phenotypes like the Tangerine Dream. One of the these seedplants failed to bloom properly it may lack the autoflowering genes. I don't want to risk damaging the roots in the system by culling it. I might leave it in to see what happens and transplant it before I clean out the system for the fall grow. I’m pretty satisfied with the autoflower grow so far but I do have some room for improvement: 1) Next grow I will use CNS17 Ripe possibly from start to finish to see if that improves the flowering of the plants. I feel that my feed is high in nitrates so I am starting to flush this week. 2) You can see by the plants all showed variation in physical appearance and Trichrome production. The only plant that has gone purple out of the batch and is a high yielding Gorilla Zittles from Barneys. If I grow autoflowers again in this system I want to choose plants that are a little more uniform. I think the Botanicare Turbo Garden and similar systems are best suited for clones as they grow a little more uniform. Autoflowers even from the same strain have a wide variation which is cool because every seed is a surprise. 3) I need an overhead plant support. I am not sure how the plants survived some pretty high winds. One stem broke and I repaired it enough so that the plant actually survived. 4) I'm working on a microcontroller sensor node to allow some automation to the system. My favorite plants in this batch are the Dinafem Amnesia Auto CBD based only on aesthetics at this point. The Blue Dream Auto from Humbolt is one of the smaller plants but it has quite a bit of resin on it. The smaller plants may have been stunted as my nute level from the beginning was approaching upper limits for leaf burn (1.7-1.8 EC). I had since backed down but over-fertilization in early stages is not reversible and comes at a cost of plant health and vigor. I took a video to try and show the overall garden progress. I did not defoliate this grow which makes it hard to see the individual flower structure but I will have defoliated harvest photos coming up soon!

The one on the right is still stalling putting bud on. Coming from dry amendments to coco has been fun but back to soil on my next run

Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Added 39 Gallons of Water to my system SILICA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Root Drip = 1mil/Gal = 39mil Cal Mag= .25mil/Gal = 9.75 = 10mil FLoraMicro= 3.0mil/Gal = 114mil FloraGro = 2.0mil/Gal = 78mil FloraBloom = 2.0mil/Gal =78mil ORCA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Week 1 Day 2 - 8/13/2023 Everything is looking good the roots are making their way to the water and the new grow is looking nice and green. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying position all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 A little worried today her birth Twin the BA I am growing out is looking great and is raised towards the light and this one is just slightly under.. Will keep an eye on Her. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 Walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. Also looking at the roots and she has some poking out the bottom but just not in the water yet.. Luckily we are set for 14 days before next water change so the system will stay stable and her sister already has roots in the water so she should only be a day or two behind.. we will just keep tracking but she is delayed. Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Roots in the Water!!! Huston, we have a successful launch. This grow is on! Humidity was a little low this morning so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that the temp looks great, the PH looks good, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning from over filling the cloning machine seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started. Everything for growth and environment is looking good and on track, there are a couple of mutations with this Lady will keep an eye on those leaves. IMO this grow is going A lot during this week 1 then week 1 of the last grow when I had them drowning. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

Day 49 - She grew 9cm this week! Smells of grapefruit every time she is touched! 😍

And another week has passed, they are bigger but didn't do the growing I expected them to do. I think something stressed them for a couple of days, where the XL Runtz took the stressing factors a bit better. I'm trying to find out what it could have been and preventatively softened the light, lowered temps and it seemed to recover. Maybe I pushed the SP-3000 by Mars Hydro a bit too hard... We also had some white pointy bits... With a lot of trust in this growing method, after the previous grows, and the plants look overall happy I'm not too worried. The soil will balance out if just don't push the lights too hard. It's a matter of adjusting and finding sweet spots and limits. So I started bending a little and this week will bend over the tops, to further the LST which is about the only thing ill do and maybe some defoliation after 3rd week of flower.... Day 1: Paper towel method was used. Made sure plastic container stayed in a dark and warm place. Day 2: Seed has cracked but no tail yet. Day 3: Started to worry seed won’t germinate so top tissue paper was replaced with new dry one. Used warm water to wet the new paper towel. After 12 hrs crack in seed got wider little tail started to appear. Day 4: Repeated method used in Day 3. Warm water used on new paper towel. Day 5: Germinated seed placed in jiffy peat pellet and placed in propagator. Day 6: no change yet. Put propagator in window for sunlight. Day 7: no change so decided to intervene. Checked to see if seed cracked. Slowly removed the remaining shell. Covered with soil. Day 8: Seed has sprouted. Put propagator under the sun for 9 hrs, and after it stsrted to open its first leaves. Day 9: She’s enjoying the sun. Day 10: Last day in the sun. Soil mix prepared and washed with water (ph 6.5). Transfer to 15L fabric pot tomorrow.

This was a great grow under the Unit Farm UF2000 light. Was a great yield for 100 watt light. Thank you again UNITFARMLED_justin. There will be more Unit Farm grows in the future. I will be conducting a photoperiod grow with a UF4000, and the UF2000 in my photoperiods room once my current grow is completed. The flower is very tasty, and potent as it has been in past. Week 11 Day 71 (15/03/2021): No time to take pics today ✌️ Day 72 (16/03/2021): Looking good but more and more leaves are drying up or turning yellow. But at this point there is definitely no point in stressing the girls by removing them. Although the colours definitely look nice! Day 73 (17/03/2021)💧: Today will be the last watering for the girls so they have a few days to take up the last bits of moisture before harvest. I can’t believe how fast this grow went but I have definitely learned a lot from it. Day 74 (18/03/2021): They look so nice and colourful, definitely an interesting bunch of girls :D Can’t wait for the harvest and cure Day 75 (19/03/2021): No time to take pics today ✌️ Day 76 (20/03/2021): No time to take pics today but harvest day tomorrow!!!! Day 77 (21/03/2021): HARVEST DAY! What a great journey it has been growing these girls. They were so resilient and only started showing symptoms of deficiency in the last few weeks. They are absolutely covered in trichomes and smell very pungent. I think they will be super hard hitters! And it still amazes me how different they all are. Echo is even completely purple! Can’t wait to trim and dry these girls and will definitely make some bubble hash from all the trichomes on the leaves too 🤤 Will follow up with a review soon! (after they’ve cured for a bit)

Showing signs of flower. Checking for stress seeds or hermie plants every time I water. So far so good though. Feeding schedule seems to be working great. I'm gonna really hit em hard with the florabloom next week.
